Rented a enclosed trailer for the day. I asked the employee if I could drop it off that night. He told us no problem. I even asked again about what to do when we were outside. Said to drop it off in front. Said its a problem and told me where to put it. Not one time did he mention there was an extra charge to do that. All I was told was no problem and told where to put it. Then I was charged a toll, even through I was charged on my easy pass as well. Overall not great with communication or customer service.

This particular site for u-haul is exceptional. I have stopped at many U-haul places and this one is By far my favorite. I needed to rent a Box truck super fast, and called joe earlier in the day not only did he call me back right away he gave me a great deal and stayed in contacted for what I needed and made sure not to pass me off to some one else. This guy is management material! (Wish I could put his last name) if you need a good Experience ask for joe!

Mismanaged or not managed at all, either are accurate. Zero concern or care for the customer. Dont expect them to use common sense or care at all about how they are doing their job, they wont.

Very happy with this experience. Rental pick up and drop off technology is very good. Joe is a great representation of a well run company. Thank you for the excellent service and equipment.

I have had nothing but problems with this Uhaul. Earlier this summer we needed wiring done. They called the day before to confirm what had to be done. I showed up and after they had my car for over 7 hours they then informed me they couldnt do the work. They told me to bring it back Friday and the guy who could do it would be there. Showed up that Friday and was told the guy wasnt there and they couldnt do it. Now this past weekend I rented a trailer to move my daughter. I rented it for two days and thought it would be easier to drop it off Saturday night instead of Sunday. I asked the employee if I could drop it off Saturday night. He told us no problem. I even asked again about what to do when we were outside. Not a problem and told me where to put it. Not one time did he mention there was an extra charge to do that. A charge that cost more than the actual rental. All I was told was no problem and told where to put it. Not happy with this place. Worse customer service. You always have to wait in line forever on top of all the other issues they have. I will never go to this Uhual again. Plenty others out there who have better service, are honest, and doesnt try to rip customers off.

Horrible experience... not that I think this business will care at all. But please take this as a warning. I attempted to rent a truck online and pick it up using the new no contact method because... covid. The truck was not out or ready when I arrived as it was supposed to be. It was parked of the side of the building with an ad in the windshield. I could not find it and had to go in and ask them get it. I rented two dollies and moving pads. I left the lot only to find out the equipment was not in the truck. It was empty. Should have known since it wasnt ready beforehand. We had to have someone else bring equipment. I was assured I wouldnt be charged for the equipment I was never given but I was $44 for nothing. This was a awful experience.

Made an appointment to get my wiring harness repaired for my trailer hook up, they were done quickly with it even though they were swamped with customers 1st thing in the morning and even came in $100 lower than they estimated!

Greensburg, PA site....Completely lacks customer service, no compassion or empathy! The lady that answered the phone said she couldn’t even look up to see how far away they where from our location! Her idea of customer service was to go online and book. Lady this is why computers are replacing the jobs we use to feed our families!

It’s been awhile ago but I returned the truck low on gas. The owner told me how expensive it would b if I don’t fill it. I told him I didn’t care bc I didn’t want to try to get that big truck into the gas pump without crashing into something. The owner actually told me that he would drive the truck down to the gas station if I went along and pumped the gas. And he did !! Not only was that great customer service, it was great “people” service !! Businesses always talk a big game about going the extra mile ......this place actually did, Literally!!

I got a trailer hitch installed with these guys. I was told it would take about 3 hours and it did... BECAUSE the guy doing installation bumped me back to work on his buddys car. I might not have thought much of it but he actually TOLD me thats why my installation was delayed. It appears to have been installed correctly but when I asked the other guy working the front desk (he was a nice guy and tried to be helpful but...) if I had the right lighting package, he handed me the box and said this is what you ordered.... Buyer beware & educated yourself.

I came in to buy furniture pads. I only needed 1 and they were completely out. The sales associate Joe Morgan was kind enough to give me one and didnt charge me. Ive also rented here before. Never had a negative experience. Will continue to do business with them!

A little more expensive than anticipated. Sales clerk was wonderful and polite! $118.00 for 31 mile, one day pick up and drop off. Picked up on10/3/16 8:00 am dropped off 10/4/16. Vehicle had to be returned by 8:00 am, any later I would have been billed another $118 for another 24 hours.

Excellent experience. The manager honored a $5 hitch warranty with no problems and installed a new hitch, when I presented the original warranty paperwork, which became corroded over the years. I purchased the original hitch about 10 years ago. Great service and a company that stands by their product.

Needed a propane tank refilled. Waited my turn, told to wait outside someone would be out to help me. After 15 minutes, re entered store to wait another 15 minutes. When I asked a man working there if anyone could possibly fill a tank he responded Yep, Im the only one and proceeded to walk away. Thinking he would come back outside I again waited. After a total of 40 mintues I left. Dont advertise a service if you cant fulfill that service.

If I could give Uhaul in general a review I would give it a -0 . I was on the phone most of the day yesterday trying to rent a 26 truck to rent for 2-3 days for a local move...I was told I could only rent it for 24 hours because it is a busy time and it is not fair to other familys who need a truck. Well I would have been paying for the whole time I had it. As for the Greensburg location I would would give them a -00 stars. I tried to call them from 7AM - 1:30 PM Sat Oct 26 each time I was forwarded to a remote location 4 times & each time I was given a different reason why I could not rent a truck for more than 24 hrs and I was told 3 times to give them my phone # and they would send a message for the general manger to call me not once did anyone call me...I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone..I actually rented a Penske Truck & yes it was more expensive but it is worth it...I called their toll free number did not get the run around got a truck reserved within 10 minutes and talked to an awesome customer service rep. I kept getting told by Uhaul that they are understaffed well maybe they should think about hiring more people and having more trucks to rent if they cant handle the volume of customers they get

So I have a reservation for the Latrobe Pennsylvania store for tomorrow and I get a vm from Louis telling me to call him immediately, yet I still cannot get a hold of Louis because nobodys answering the phone and the voice mailbox is full. So, I have no idea if my reservation is available or not. I called the call center and the woman Kim is going above and beyond to try to figure out what the problem is and she cant even get an answer from anyone as to the situation. She is trying alternate methods of communication to get me an answer and I am waiting to hear back . I think U-Haul really needs to step up ownership of their responsibilities.

Very helpful, even on a day with unexpected staffing issues. Provided with their biggest one-way rental that still smelled new inside! Eagerly wiped down the center console when I found a coffee spill they had missed. Best experience on an otherwise frustrating moving weekend!

The moving help is horrible. The guy didnt realize he had anything scheduled for the day. Glad I called him. Then it took him an hour to pack a couple of things and the door slammed on my humidifier. The service cost too much. The u-box was horribly small for the amount. I would not recommend the service to anyone.

Their customer service is awful! Not only did they give us the wrong truck, the charged my account twice. They claim it is a hold for the estimated amount and it would come off my account in 3-5 business days. I have never heard of anything like this, and its not like $10 or something, its over $90 they charged my account twice. I cant talk to a person that works at the greensburg location because they forward their calls and its the end of the month so the manager is busy to return my call. Thats absurd! I will never give them business again nor will I refer anyone.

Cant speak to the truck rental aspect, but as far as storage goes, its not really a convenient place to store things. Half of their storage area is on a second story so all items have to be carried upstairs if you get stuck with a second story storage locker.

This location was undergoing a change in management, so things were hectic but the employees were great, very kind and helpful.

We planned for 2 months a move of a piano from PA to VA. We took measurements of the piano to U-haul Greensburg so we could get the correct trailer size. We were told 4X8 was the correct size to move our sized piano. The day arrived and we picked up the U-haul trailer, got it home to load the piano and it didnt fit. The door frame of the trailer was too small. We called U-haul greensburg to ask for a bigger size. They had none so put us through to a central U-haul phone number. I talked to Steph from U-haul Traffic 809. She was very short with me, and offered an open air trailer. I explained we were moving a piano and that wouldnt work. She got very rude and said too bad, thats all she could do. I inquired about a truck, she offered a truck for an additional $400. I didnt think it was appropriate to charge us such a large amount since it was U-hauls fault for incorrectly sizing our piano measurements. Again, she got very rude. She refused to give me her full name or her supervisors full name. Ultimately she hung up on me. I called other u-haul numbers, including the Greensburg GM. There were no trailers for rent anywhere near me for days to come. So I needed to return the 4X6 trailer that we had sitting in our driveway for an hour as there was no way to make it work. I again called the GM of u-haul greensburg about a refund and he said a refund was not guaranteed. We did not move anything! We had a trailer that U-haul said would fit our piano but did not. And now, they said they had nothing else for us and we may not get a refund! I caution anyone thinking about using u-haul to look elsewhere. Research or call Penske or Ryder or another moving company. The hassle I have gone through is unbelievable. Save yourself the time and money and go with a company that is competent and has respectable customer service.

This is the worst uhaul place I have ever dealt with. I returned the truck after hours. I parked it right in front and put the key in the drop box. They cant find the truck then they cant find the key. Twelve hours later, i still dont have a total.... I would rather deal with side of the road dealers.

I rented an auto hauler to bring a car from Ohio. The service was excellent and the price was a fraction of the price of hiring a roll back truck to go pick it up.

Getting the truck and the boxes was probably the easiest part of the move.

Waited for 20 minutes. No one ever came out of the back room.

Stopped in to return truck that my daughter had rented, salesman was miserable and rude, and even though I was there two hours before truck was to be returned that there was extra charges for checking it in, and told me I would have to wait everyone was busy while he waited on the next customer that wait came in after me and was talking about me with that customer directly in front of me,Ive never been treated so rudely and vulgarity by an employee of any company the employee used the f word several times towards me, as he still works there avoid this store and drive to another location they obviously do not care how their customers are treated

Dispatch could not transfer me to a local office... Unexceptable ... This just means the company has not spent enough to think there policies out.

Did not have my hitch there when I came to have it installed after I waited an hour they told me this when I finally got the hitch in there was a big miscommunication between myself and the staff and I was treated extremely poorly when I went to the store to get my money back and was very humiliated and degraded by the staff there would not recommend them to anyone

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! I set a reservation on June 20 for July 3 to have a hitch installed I show up on the 3rd and the hitch and wire harness did not come in!! They never called me to tell me this finally on July 7, 3 weeks after I made a reservation my hitch gets installed. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I HAVE WORK DONE HERE NOR WOULD I EVER RECOMMEND THEM EVER!!!!!
