We ordered French Toast Combo and a Broccoli Cheese soup. I was really disappointed.There was very little shredded broccoli, the only chunks you see in my picture I posted were crackers. It was tasteless and luke warm.The french toast had large portions but it was in a container that was hot once. The condensation made the french toast soggy and the butter in plastic containers where the french toast was leaked out of the container. So the french toast was soaked with water and melted butter. Eggs were flat..yes the cook dropped them on grill and scraped them, so they were flat.We ordered, told 15 mins. We were exactly 15 mins and ate in the car outside in parking lot. So our food should have been warm.Im highly disappointed!Not worth your money or time.

My waiter named Peyton was getting fed up with me he huffed and puffed when I asked him for things like people normally do at a restaurant and he didn’t say thank you and he didn’t check up on my like waiters an waitresses are supposed to and he rolled his eyes at me. I was shocked cause I’ve never had such a bad experience at a restaurant before. I would say thank you and he wouldn’t say you’re welcome. I saw him be very friendly and nice to another couple after me and even gave them a nice friendly send off when they were doing eating which I never got when I was done eating. Peyton seemed very annoyed with me and acting like he was fed up with me every time I asked for something. Peyton was acting like I was being high maintenance when I wasn’t. I will never eat at King’s again if they don’t address this issue. I’m very upset that’s how my waiter treated me. I’m shocked how my waiter treated me. I feel like if someone will easily getting annoyed with a customer and shows it maybe they shouldn’t be working in a restaurant or customer service field. I didn’t tip Peyton he didn’t deserve a tip since he gave me WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. He should probably find another job or be fired. As long as Peyton is working here I won’t be coming back. My family and I have been eating at Kings as long as they been there all these years. I hope King’s Know they just lost a customer if this is how they think and how they train their staff when it comes down to a customer’s needs and taking care of a customer whose dining in their restaurant. I can’t believe I was treated that way. Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE customer service. Very displeased and very highly unsatisfied. Very disgusted with my experience and how I was treated. I would recommend better staff training. That’s all I have to say about my bad and negative experience at Kings.

Great time and meal at kings in canonsburg
I accompanied a special needs young lady out to dinner tonight, she chose Kings. We arrived at this location and as many employees walked around looked at us and did not even knowledge our presence we waited at least ten minutes to be seated. I kept reading the sign thinking I was reading it wrong and we had to seat ourselves but the sign did read Please wait to be seated. Someone finally walked over to us and said just pick a table and Ill follow you. We sat at the table and this person took our drink order and delivered them. After waiting about 15 minutes another server came over and said did anyone take your order? I replied no but someone else was waiting on us. The other server comes over to our table after seeing the second server there and they have a conservation about who would wait on us I dont care you can take this table. Other one ok, you sure I said I dont care who waits in us. We each placed our order. I ordered a bowl of beef vegetable soup and a house salad with ranch and the young lady ordered a cup of potato soup and a fish dinner. Our soups came out hers in a cup with soup dripping all down the sides and mine is shown in the attached picture. Never would I ever serve my family a bowl of soup that looked like this. The soup was lukewarm and my salad was wilted and frozen. I believe the young ladys meal was ok but she doesnt complain anyway. We were never asked if we would like refills on our drinks, I had to ask for silverware and napkins after basically chasing someone down to pay attention to us. After waiting 25 minutes, I had to ask another server for a to go box for a small piece of fish that was leftover and also requested that she find our checks. Meanwhile people were being seated as they normally are in a restaurant without waiting. Servers were attentive to the other tables while we just sat there waiting for service. I would hate to think we were discriminated against but after seeing the service given to others as we just sat there being past by makes me wonder. I have NEVER in my adult life (Im 57) not left a tip as a matter of fact I usually start my tips at 20% and go from there, however tonight myself and I instructed the young lady with me to leave NO TIP!!! The service was deplorable, the food disgusting and if she ever wants to go to a Kings restaurant again she will not go with me. I will NEVER walk into a Kings again. There are too many other choices out there. I will also be spreading the word of how myself and my special needs friend were treated!

Kings has been a go to for me snd my family since a very young age! Breakfast is very good here. Lunch/dinner food not as good but overall, I love Kings. Good prices, friendly staff, and a good place to relax on a Saturday morning. I personally could have done without the TV’s! I like to read with my breakfast. But I understand why they wanted to go more modern.

I ordered the Thanksgiving Feast this year and the food was soooo delicious. I ordered for 8 people and everything was ready when I went to pick it up. There was turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, salad, warm buns, and pies. Fantastic deal too...only $99. Plus, we have leftovers. I highly recommend this deal.
Decent food depending when you go but the prices have gotten a little steep and the website is beyond annoying.
This place is the best family restaurant I have been to in all PA. I have been to a few other an nothing beats the hospitality and food. Kings is the king.I wont even mention the competition since this is all about Kings, try the giant cinnamon roll if you can my kids wont stop talking about it.

My waiter was awesome and sweet her name was Danielle. She took real good care of my dad and i. My dad and i both had burgers and they were delicious. We will definitely be coming back for more. A easy five stars for both Danielle and the restaurant. The service was great thank you guys and i cant wait to come back.

Our food was great! And my server Danielle was amazing! The service by her made my whole day. I recommend having her as a waitress. She deserves a raise, no, a promotion. We eat out a lot and she probably became my favorite server of all time with one visit.
We tried to eat here. But the staff just stares at you, doesn’t greet you, and there wasn’t a clean seat in the place, including the counter. My favorite part was getting stared at by the staff like we had a third eye. Guess we don’t for their typical customers standard appearance. But this pocket full of money and my good tipping habits will definitely be eating else where from now on. 👍

Like everyone now, stretching the budget and limiting any extra expenses,. We decided to wait until Friday to get a take out fish sandwich. We were all looking so forward to it. Kings has been so empty and they had good breakfast, so we figured, Kings is it.And when it came home, it really did look good. Until taking a bite and realizing most of the fish was missing inside the breading on all of our sandwiches. Realizing times are tough, but geez. It looked like they had taken each piece of fish and sliced them into 3 length-wise pieces to stretch it. I still cant figure out how in the world they got the breading to make it look so full. That must have been a challenge.It was actually funny. We were sad, but laughed quite a bit. I guess, next time Wendys, Arbys or Dairy Queen!
Ive been here for breakfast, at lunch, and at dinner. Ive never had a bad meal. Service is usually quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Good place to grab a bite with family and friends.
The only reason I did not give this a five-star rating is because I think Kings is a little expensive for what you get. The food was good in the service was good.

The food is not that good, ordered breakfast how do you mess up breakfast? One of the easiest meals to cook. Home fries were awful tasted old and had some kind of large black flakes on it and no it was not pepper. Pancakes were awful very soggy. Scrambled eggs were over cooked and dry (tasted old as well). Didnt eat anything, even my 3 year old granddaughter who loves loves loves eggs didnt eat hers either, she told me they were nasty. Manager took care of the bill thank goodness.

I do not understand some of the negative reviews. Anytime my husband & I have eaten at the Plum Kings the food & service has been wonderful. Food is always served hot and fresh. We visit for either breakfast or late lunch.
Food was fresh and hot. Servers were pleasant and attentive. I had the chicken and waffle grilled cheese. All of the ccomponents were cooked properly. But the sandwich was a little dry overall. It needs some sauce or gravy or something.

Since King’s was sold a few years back, the quality of food and management has dropped significantly. Easily situated in Holiday Park, it offers a convenience to the residents but stops there. I have gone back hoping the food would be better, or faster, only to be frustrated time and again.Waitresses are the ones that suffer here. Be kind to them.Food has either been burned or over cooked, and it will never ever come close to looking like the pictures.Cooks are underpaid and few.Wait from seating to food has been over one hour the past two times.Not very clean.
The place smelt like a tire fire. Apparently the furnace caught fire yesterday, and with that nasty electrical smouldering smell, they chose to conduct business anyway. It stunk worse than any restaurant Id ever been in. Then, the food tasted like it was cooked in the electrical fire. Just nasty dirty fryer grease. The food just tasted like dirty fryer oil. Bad. I will not return to this establishment, nor will I recommend it to the living. Avoid this place! I spent the entire ride home apologizing to my loved ones for taking them there. I was seriously embarrassed.

Went WAY downhill since I was there last. Looks VERY dirty. Service was absolutely horrible. Watched our waitress fill coffee creamer while I waited for a drink. Also her her apologize to another table that Im sorry I totally forgot. 2 stars because the food was pretty good.

A couple of years ago I probably would’ve given this King’s location a 3 star. But now with them having alcohol, TVs, and the new menu with great food...I’ve been extremely impressed! I hope they continue to make really good changes. Maybe 2 or 3 more TVs and this would be a fun place to grab food during Penguins and Steeler games. Burgers are excellent, breakfast is excellent, and desserts are even better. I go here probably at least once or twice a month.

Been coming here since we moved to the area in 2004. Kings used to be our go-to diner. Used to eat here 2-3 x/week.Its been going steadily downhill since it was sold a few years ago. I come here every 2-3 months now just because theres not much else around here.Every time Ive been to this location in the last couple years I swore would be my last. Whats amazing that every time I go back its even worse!Todays experience:Slow/inattentive service. Insanely slow kitchen. Poorly-cooked food. Dirty tables.Overheard a couple of other tables complaining about poorly-cooked food; every interaction between staff and customers I overheard included apologies for the wait; and overheard wait staff complaining among themselves about the sorry state of things.
Exceptional service and great food also Ms. Julia our waitress was awesome. Everything she suggested was great. If you are in this area stop in and enjoy a great feast. So much food and really inexpensive..

Went there with my girlfriend for a date, service is a bit slow but everyone has a smiling face and everyone just seems so kind. There was this one women Dani or something, she was blonde. She was really kind with me and my girlfriend. She was so up front and talkative. Other than that service was good and the employers were really kind and nice to us. Looking forward on coming by again.
Danielle is a great waitress fixed everything the cooks messed up and made me feel appreciated. I always loved kings, but this one is probably the best in the whole franchise! Keep up the good work!
For the most part, I have not been a big fan of Kings since the new ownership took over. This location, however, seems to be better than some of the others when it comes to the food. I especially want to give a shout out to the hostess and server that willingly gave us a table in the very back of the restaurant which had been closed off. My autistic son was with me. He doesn’t like to eat around others and so going out to eat with him almost never happens. He had been talking about KIng’s so much recently that I decided to give it a try. We asked for a seat away from others and they immediately offered the back. Thanks to their thoughtfulness we had a great dinner together!
Was the first time Ive been inside a Kings in over 8-9 years. I worked at the one that was in Penn hills for a long time, even played on there softball team. Loved working there and o still even remember most of the menu items. The food is still good and I even think its better then eat n Parks breakfast
My daughter and I sometimes go to Kings after I pick her up from work. I really enjoy having breakfast with her here,. We usually arrive about 6:30 am they are just opening at 6am I quiet and the staff is very friendly the food comes out right away and its hot, fresh and very good. The restaurant is also neat and clean something we really appreciate.

Came here for Breakfast and it wasnt too crowded. The service was fine, but my partys omelettes were over cooked, the potatoes were hard and undercooked, and the bread was dry. First time at this Kings, and dont know if Ill go back anytime soon.

Food is good. Normally comes out hot. Service is mostly friendly. Sometimes service is slow, even when there is not alot of people in there. They do sell a few alcoholic beverages for some one that may want a few drinks.
If I could I would give you no stars...spoiled eggs, raw potatoes, runny black bean blend, microwaved salsa, and stale corn tortillas. You may wonder why Id venture into their new menu items and I now ask myself the same question. In my defense, they have multiple healthy options now on their menu so I ASSumed they must have done something right along the way to get from test kitchen to menu. Wrong!!!
