The sale prices are reasonable. They utilize the most up to date technology. They have many great frames to choose from, and everyone there is very, very pleasant to work with. I have to send a special thank you and shout out to Ron, though. He is fabulous, a truly special human being: knowledgeable, caring, professional - an amazing asset to this store.

Went here to get a eye exam after 3 years of wearing the same glasses. After the exam picked out glass and paid $159. Glasses came in 2 weeks later. Immediately upon them presenting them to me one of the nose guards was off.. no biggie.. they fixed and adjusted them at which time I said things didn’t really look all that clear on the bottom of the progressive lenses. Left and after 20 mins had to take them off my head was pounding. Immediately upon taking them off the nose guard fell off again went back 2 more times for the “progressive line” to be adjusted. After trying to wear them for 2 days i took them back, nothing was clear and the frames were hurting not to mention the massive headaches every time I tried to wear them. After not wanting to have them adjusted again for no reason they looked at my previous eye exam from elsewhere 3years prior and decided to use those results! So what was the point of the exam if your going to use old specs! Being the frames were hurting anyway I chose another frame. 3-4 days later I’m told they will be another $100. If the prescription would have been correct the FIRST time all would have been fine and I would’ve been done! 30 days for them to “adjust”my insurance to not include frames even though the claim had NOT yet been submitted to my insurance at that time! Charged insurance for a eye exam that you took the specs from a 3 year old eye exam done somewhere else!

Great place for glasses. Reasonably priced. The whole experience was fantastic due to one staff member. Ron is extremely knowledgeable about the products. He has a great personality and truly cares about you being happy with your glasses. Would highly recommend requesting him when you go.

This was my first appointment at VisionWorks. The doctor was very friendly and personable. The most exciting part of any eye exam is picking out new glasses. Ron was great help. I narrowed my choices to a hand full of glasses. Ron helped me to decide. He ended up recommending a pair of glasses I over looked and they were a beautiful color. The only complaint is, I wish I could afford both of the pairs we picked. Ron definitely has great taste in picking glasses! I can’t wait to get my glasses!

I had such a great experience at Visionworks! The doctor took his time to explain what he was doing and the specifics of my vision. The eyewear specialist Ron was so patient and helpful and basically picked out my new frames-which I love! Ron explained lenses, frames, and all the types of lenses so that I was making a purchase specific to my needs. Great staff and awesome experience!

My wife went here to get her contact prescription. She told them she would pay cash, and not to use her insurance (because she was going to get glasses later). They decided to run her insurance anyway AND she paid cash. We reported it to our insurance company, she had to make several phone calls, and after 3 weeks or so, things finally got sorted out. We wont go here anymore.

I am very sad to say that this store treats their employees terribly. Especially to the sales staff, one in particular. The sales staff has done nothing but provide excellent service to all of their customers. I have witnessed the terrible disrespect for their employees and I will not be coming back to shop around for my glasses.

All of the employees here are very kind!! I wanted to start with that because I’m not complaining due to any person in specific.However, I’ve never had this much difficulty at any eye glass place in my life. I’ve been waiting for OVER two weeks for my glasses to come in. They scheduled me an appointment exactly two weeks from my original appointment to come in and get my glasses fitted, this is when they should have been in. During my wait, my current pair broke, and I have terrible eyesight and can not see a foot in front of me to function. Because of this, I can’t go to work and I’m 9 months pregnant and it would be horrible to have to give birth without my eyesight! I called the week before they were suppose to be ready, to see if I could possibly come in early and pick them up. I called every day for 4 days, and every day leading up to my appointment when they said my glasses “weren’t” in yet, I knew something was wrong. Everyone gave me the runaround.When I arrived Friday for my appointment, they said I wasn’t even put in the system correctly for my appointment that day!On top of that, my glasses order was never even finished processing in their system! TWO WEEKS AFTER my first appointment! I was told I have to wait “one or two” more days due to this inconvenience, however, if it takes two weeks after you order them, I can only imagine how long I have to continue to wait. I chose this place because of the low prices I had heard of. I will not return here again, I’ll gladly spend more money somewhere else. Im so disappointed.Furthermore, I noticed the employees walk around complaining about their jobs and their lives. It’s unprofessional and made me and my husband uncomfortable.The actual eye doctor was amazing. She was so kind, and professional and very good at her job. She was very helpful.

My family and I have been to three different Visionworks in three different counties but this one is the best one by far, no disrespect to the others. Dr. Frank and Ron are amazing! My son was a bit hyper that day but they were both courteous, professional and understanding. Extra kudos to everyone working that day as well. Got a contact fitting early June after they opened back up. And as of today August 23rd. I still do not have a pair of contacts that fit me. Ive been getting the run around from employees. Went in twice for a eye exam. Waited almost 2 weeks this most recent time for a trial pair of contacts and once again for like the 3rd time. Something is wrong with them. Ive been wearing contacts for 25 years and I never had these problems anywhere else when it came to contact fitting. Everyone here is very nice but for some reason they cant seem to get my prescription right and its beyond frustrating not being able to see correctly and even more frustrating when everything takes forever.

Sue was amazing she helped fix every mistake that another branch made. She made me feel welcome as well as made sure that everything was taken care of.

Ruth was not only helpful but she was friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I wasnt even the one who needed the glasses. I recently had an eye exam and purchased 2 pairs of glasses from this Greensburg store. I had a very positive experience with the doctor and with the staff. But, most notably, I was very impressed with Ron and his expertise. First off, his patience with myself, and with each of my parents when they purchased their glasses, was much appreciated. He did not rush us, he answered all of our questions with kind and detailed responses, and he really took the time to pay attention to our concerns. I was sincerely taken aback by Rons gifted ability to pick out a great pair of glasses for any individual. He takes the time to get to know your personality and has a genuine talent for finding a perfect frame to match you specifically. It was obvious that he really cared about making his customers happy with their purchase. I can not say enough wonderful things and I am very thankful for this excellent customer service!

First I want to say that I never do reviews about anything. Second I am a medical provider. And I had an amazing experience with the office store manager Sue at the Greensburg Visionworks. I had damaged my glasses earlier this morning by taking them into a sauna. When I came out they were all crazed like crushed glass. I dropped in shortly afternoon. Explaining what I had done this morning and that I was leaving on vacation in 48 hours. She devised a solution for me to get lenses that would be good enough for me while I traveled . And that she would have a permanent perfect solution Waiting for me when I returned. Her level of understanding of her business and professionalism was amazing. I would give six stars if there was an option for that.

Had a very positive experience at this store. Family eye visit. Son had an appointment and got glasses. I got new glasses as well, after seeing the incredible deal on bifocals-with NO HIDDEN COSTS! The optometrist was very professional and helpful. The gentleman who picked out the frames was spot on with his selection for both my son and myself. The lady who checked us out was also very helpful and professional. This will be our new eye appointment location.

Great customer service. Dr Frank was thorough and knowledgeable. She actually changed my husbands script to a weaker one because the last place prescribed a stronger script anticipating his eyes getting worse which did not happen. Ron is the eyeglass God! You could look at that wall 10 times and not find the frames that he finds. Tells you the truth but won’t talk you into or out of any frame. All in all this was a very enjoyable trip. I’m so glad we found Visionworks!

I had gone to this Visionworks last year and Dr.Ludwig and staff especially Ron whom helped me to find glasses was exceptional. He listened to my needs and was helpful.Went back yesterday to get eyes examined and there is a new doctor. Dr. Frank,the optometrist there now, she is so brilliant and took her time to explain how she could get me back into contacts that suited my dry eyes and now, I dont have to wear glasses all the time anymore. Again, Ron didnt let me down, he is a wonderful, considerate person, he remembers little details which not many people take pride in doing these days for their clients. My wife and I needed our yearly eye exam and new glasses because of Rx changes . Dr. Ludwig was very friendly, informative, and professional during our exams. Associate Ron was very helpful in explaining all our insurance options/benefits and took a lot of time in helping us select new frames and lenses for our specific needs and style preferences. One of the other staff also replaced broken and missing nose pads on my old readers so I had use of them until the new ones arrived. Have been using VisionWorks at other locations for several years and the staff here is exceptional. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I sadly broke my glasses, an unexpected accident that involved a restful nap & ended in a snap of my frames. I’m new to the eyeglass world, and so shopping for eyeglasses was a bit daunting. Once I arrived for my exam, I was greeted my friendly staff...and even friendly patrons. It was a great vibe from the start. Jeanie and Dr. Frank instantly made me feel at ease. I was fortunate enough to be paired with the EyeGlass guru, Ron. He made the entire experience easy & fun. He even got me out of my comfort zone and into some very flattering frames with some personality. We shared some good belly laughs too! I most definitely recommend the services of Visionworks Greensburg, especially if you feel apprehension in choosing those frames!

I could not order contacts using my benefits because I was told I could only do so one time, which I did back in January, but I was never told prior to this. And they refuse to price match online prices unless it was through 1-800 Contacts. I definitely will not be using Visionworks again. Terrible service and they make you wait forever.

I started going to VISIONWORKS 4 years ago. I started at Monroeville Mall and the staff was not friendly. I found that Greensburg had one and decided to try them. The atmosphere was so different. Ron stepped up and waited on me and my husband . He was the best customer relations that I have met. He wanted to make sure that we were happy with the service. He has a great personality and really makes you feel comfortable. I hope he stays forever at VISIONWORKS .He is not moody and always pleasant and you need to be a people person when you deal with the public. He definitely is a people person. I always ask for him.
