This place is wonderful! They have a wide variety of treats and always have seasonal gifts and stuffed animals. My kids love the different types of candy and I always feel so nostalgic about all of the candies they carry that I loved as a kid! The staff are always so nice too.

Handmade candy selection is limited, they dont make as much as they used to. Gertrude Hawk candies are sold in the case along with the few handmade candies they do sell. The diabetic candy is stale. I have gone into the store to buy something without store being manned. Waited ten minutes and left the items on the counter. Staff really should lock the door if they cant man the counter. Also have seen young kids running the store (only one staff member) by themselves after dark. This store is in the middle of nowhere along the highway. Its unsafe and a great way to get robbed or worse.

As a child in the 60s my parents always had Gene & Boots candy for holidays and special events and I continue to purchase their candy . They have the most delicious chocolates I have ever had ! Gene & Boots candy is a time cherish tradition in my family . If you havent had their chocolates, you need to treat yourself to a box of Gene & Boots chocolates, I guarantee youll love it !

My truck is currently broke down in their parking lot and that little lady is so sweet to me LOL pun intended. They do have some of the best chocolate around.

Gene and Boots Candies is a local chain. I visited their store in the Westmoreland Mall. The employee greeted me, and she asked me if I was looking for any particular types of candies. She sold me pecan clusters, which tasted good but did not contain caramel as I had expected. The pecan clusters cost about $1 each. This store sold also numerous types of candies such as gummies.

Great little candy shop with a wide variety. They even have a lot of old school candy. The chocolate is phenomenal.

It was okay. Sampled the sugar free chocolate. It was actually quite tasty, but the selection was small. They had all kinds of other candies. Lots of gummy type candies, but nothing of that type in sugar free.

I have driven by Gene & boots countless times over the years and finally decided to stop on 8-5-18. You would not believe the fudge and candy selection they have. I bought a pound of peanut butter fudge and a pound of chocolate fudge. Both were very good. The service was great. I cant wait to try some of the other many chocolate delights.

Kids candies are pricey, but I enjoy the atmosphere and the nice lady that works there. Fresh Chocolates are good.

We stopped here to get an ice cream only to find out that they only sell their ice cream by the pint. The picture on the billboard shows ice cream cones. False advertising at its finest.

Best malted milk balls ever, the maple cream was decadent, the sugar free creams were amongst the worst I ever tasted but the sugar fee caramels were divine

Theres nothing wrong with the place itself. It is very clean and gives you an almost candyman giddiness upon entering. For those who like their ice cream, they no longer sell it so sorry to break it to you. The candy itself is very average. You could get the equivalent candybar in the valentines isle at walmart. You know, those deluxe chocolates they sell.

I love their candy it actually may Riedel serious candy and they have the stuff that Sarahs doesnt have all year round
