I dont write many reviews but after another fantastic visit to Sendell today, I felt I owed it to them. First off, we love our Subaru Crosstrek, easily the best car weve ever owned. But aside from that, Sendell has been absolutely wonderful over the years! The Service Department was such a delight to deal with. They referred me to John the delivery specialist after my appointment and he taught me all about my car. I had took a lesson with Jay before but John was happy to give me a refresher course on all my features. He even showed me how organize the apps on my phone. I cant recommend Sendel enough. On January 2nd, I purchased a new Crosstrek from Sendell, and am very pleased with their service so far. As this is my first purchase from them and Subaru in general my experience is limited, however Denny (the salesman) was very knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. Denny did a great job of going over the car’s controls and features, even staying late to make sure he covered everything. The vehicle is everything I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier. When I purchased the car, I was told I would be contacted by another associate who would be able to go back over the vehicle and its features and to answer any questions. I thought I had a good understanding of the vehicle, but when Sendell’s tech associate John was able to meet with me and showed me some interesting things, I realized I had missed or forgotten a few things. If you purchase a vehicle here you are in good hands, and give John the opportunity to go back over your vehicle as a reminder, you’ll be glad you did.

I purchased a new car from Sendell Subaru when Hyundai bought back my old vehicle due to a safety issue. Jim worked with me to get a fair deal on the best vehicle for my family. I wanted the safety features that most manufacturers only offer on top tier packages. On Subaru, the Eyesight systems came on a vehicle $10,000 less than a similar Hyundai. A month after purchase, I met with Jay in the Encore program who as able to answer my technical and complex questions while still explaining the basics. Fast forward to an issue with my Subaru on a Thursday afternoon and I have a service appointment for 22.5 hours later. The appointment was supposed to be for a quick diagnostic. 38 minutes after drop off I am told they are almost done replacing the defective part. I explained I need to pick up my kids from daycare as it was only supposed to be diagnostic. The service advisor Jason apologized and offered me a loaner vehicle. Before I knew it the service technician was done with my vehicle, had it washed and ready to go. I didnt even need the loaner as they finished the repair in under a hour. Sendell Subaru has shown me that I made the correct choice in buying from them.

Had a great experiencing purchasing a car there, Ive had it for over a year now and had my first yearly inspection due at the service center.I had a conflict come up and was going to have to cancel my appointment, but there were able to squeeze me in during the techs lunch break and were able to get me in and out quickly and on my way.Everyone at the service desk was super friendly and helpful, despite me just dropping in during lunch.

I had my son and wife take our car to this dealership for a diagnosis. Not only did the disrespect them the solution was one that was so unbelievable and week. We can got a better result by stopping at Autozone. The only reason we went to the dealer is because we still had a warranty, but after a couple of laps in the parking lot not even hooking up anything its $125 and 400+ to fix it. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away.

Very friendly staff. I had a pleasant experience while buying my Subaru Legacy 2017 from Sendell. I had an issue with the registration not getting processed before the 30-day period during which the transit tag was valid, mainly because I had purchased the car out-of-state. However, the staff at Sendell Jim, Vikki and Debbie were very helpful and responsive over the phone. I would recommend Sendell to anyone.
I was driving across southern PA on vacation last summer in my recently serviced Forester when the oil light came on. I found Sendell in Google and left my car in service while I took my wife to an excellent Italian lunch across the street. When I returned my car was good to go, no charge, with the oil topped off. How nice was that?
My husband and I both purchased a car from here last month. We had been treated poorly at other dealerships, and was told that we would never find the deal that we were looking and asking for. We decided to try sendells based on a friends recommendation. We were not disappointed. Josh treated us well, and worked with us to make the deal happen. Ignition key sticking. This is an inherent problem, common with slightly older Subarus. Sendell Subaru gave me an estimate of $330. The Subaru dealer in Monroeville, Cochran, fixed it for free, like they should have. Just so you know.
I had a 10:00AM appt for oil change and tire rotation. I called ahead letting Shane know that I would be a little late due to traffic. They took the car immediately and I was out by 10:50. The guys up there treated me very good. A good place to go for service.

I needed a car and was preparing for two days of dealing with this stressful decision and purchase, even though I had done a great deal of research and knew what I wanted. I went to Sendell based on recommendations of friends and acquaintances, and in a few hours my car was a done deal. I got exactly what I wanted. Joshua Tomson went through all the options with me, and there was no pressure of any kind. He was very helpful, and he made the experience easy and hassle-free. Scheduled for 9am to have new tires put on my 2018 outback I purchased from Sendell and I assume somewhere along the 3 hour wait the driver decide to slam on the brakes, or was rummaging threw my stuff. They disorganized the back seat of my car throwing my lunch, drinks, gloves, and business card holders on the floor. Not thinking anything of it since I’m already late for work I drive off and start to hear rattling in the back of the car and I find that 2 of the 3 fly rods are out of there holder, so I pull off upset cause this never happens and find that one is broken at the tip, it’s 400$... Sendell will not receive my business anymore cause No ones willing to own up to it or replace the damaged rod, the manger sees no way how this could ever happen, the service advisor Jason said idk how we could be responsible for something so fragile. I’m able to drive thousands of miles without this issue and they figured out a way to mess it up in 3 hours.

I have a 2018 wrx purchased here, I had no issues when buying the vechile. The service department is horrible to deal with they do not answer phone calls, have went up multiple times to talk to the service manager hes always in a meeting I had 6 stripped lug nuts on my passanger side, which my service has only ever been completed at this location until this point, costing me around 400$ to get fixed. Will never purchase another vechile from here as it is impossible to work with them on the service side.

Bought my 2015 Crosstrek at Sendell Subaru. Love my Crosstrek. No Chris, Im not ready to trade it in. Figure Ill wait till I have 150,000 miles or so on the speedo. Can I extend the warranty for home made Apple Butter? Rats! Well, I had to try! Oh, by the way, sales and service is AWESOME! Buy your next (or first) Subaru at Sendells. Ask for Josh.

We were in and out of there with what I wanted and he explained everything completely with patience. The finance lady treated us like she had known us forever and we were very comfortable with her, as well as with Jay, who I met for a thorough explanation of all of the technical perks that came with my car! I knew after my first new Subaru in 2009 that I would buy another one but didnt know what dealership to go to. I will recommend these people to everyone and I will be back there for my next vehicle.

Have a 2015 Forester had a recall. There for 30 minutes all done and they washed it too.

Bought a 2015 Subaru Outback. Noticed it was burning oil and coolant with in the warranty period. Service will not fix the problem. Will never buy from again!!

Went to numerous other dealerships in my search for a new car. Each time I was either completely ignored, or had the impression that I was being talked down to and I was wasting their time. So I must admit when I stopped at Sendell, I had a defensive attitude and was ready to walk out. James Struble, sales person extraordinaire, stated that he was with several other customers but was willing to take the time fit us in around his scheduled appointments. I did my research on-line and knew what I was looking for, and Jim was able to deliver. Low pressure and very helpful and friendly. Went to buy a car. Crunched all the numbers and got everything ready and all I needed to do was bring in my car to trade in. We agreed that i would make one last payment on my current car in 2 weeks, I then would come pick up my new car. I was told not to worry and that it would be here in 2 weeks. Then I was told that if someone came in to look at it they would give me a call amd I would put a deposit on it to make sure I get it. (And was told not to worry about putting a deposit on it right away like I wanted too) Got a call today that my car was being sold and there is nothing that can be done about it....Its bad business and very shady to make promises that you cant keep, especially when you had a guaranteed sale. Would give 0 out of 5 stars if possible.
