Shady and unprofessional. I was approved, but had the worst feeling in my gut about the entire experience. We had an appointment and came early to browse their inventory. Upon entering the actual building, we were immediately greeted. I gave my name and number to verify my appointment. The salesperson then asked us to sit in the waiting area while he typed in my information because They dont want you to see what Im doing on the computer. I noticed that other clients were all seated at the desks with salespeople to complete their paperwork. A couple came in about a half hour after us, was waited on by the salesperson that was helping us, were out the door and finished with the application, long before we finally decided to leave. I was asked to write down my social security number on a scribble pad and expressed that I would prefer to tell him at his computer, rather than write it down and he huffed and puffed about it. I sat there for over 3 hours while everyone else that came in was attended to and left. My salesperson chatted with coworkers about random topics as if we werent there. After providing my check stub, they wanted the complete list of every paycheck Ive received since starting with the company (I am not a newer employee), he then asked me to give him copies of my bank statements. That was the end of my complacency. I agreed to go get my statements, then promptly drove directly across the street to Honda and purchased a car. This place doesnt comply with privacy laws. They also SELL your information to telemarketers and you cannot opt out. I dont know how they have a 4 star rating. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Jessica helped to find me the perfect car that was in my price range. She made the process fast and easy. I didn’t feel like just a sale or pressured and I had options before and after the process and that’s important to me. I highly recommend!

This was such a disappointing experience. We walked in (had an appointment) and were greeted by someone. I was never given a name, so I dont know who we were speaking to. We were seated in a corner and left waiting for most of our visit. The man who was helping us spent most of his time at his desk across the building. Although I had already filled out my information online, he attempted to change my information (such as income and savings). He told me I couldnt be approved unless I had another $1500 in income and $2000 down payment. Both or nothing. Its funny, though, because I was approved at a different Drivetime location today and drove away in a new car for $200 down. If you want to check out Drivetime, youd be better off skipping this location.

Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect with DriveTime. I did research for a few days mainly because I thought the deposit was too good to be true but it really wasn’t that bad. So the number they give you for a deposit is a true deposit for something on their lot. Like a regular car. However, that being said, I was in search of a Jeep. After about a week or so I received a phone call and when I answered it was DriveTime asking if I was still interested. (I revived phone calls the day after I applied, I was just too busy to answer or call back). But they caught me at a really good time. It was Friday and we set up an appointment for Saturday. After arriving at DriveTime the manager was very nice and set me up with a sales woman named Tess, she took us around the lot showed us what they had in stock and let me test ride a Jeep Compass. There was nothing wrong with the vehicle, but the Compass wasn’t my first choice. I came in thinking the deposit would be $495 but it was $1000 for the compass. (Still not bad in any means). So Monday rolls around and I’m about to pull the trigger on the Compass when I notice they have a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Gastonia N.C. I call DriveTime back they told me my down payment would be 1,200 (which I was expecting more like 2,000). I told them I’d like to have that one if possible, without hesitation the man on the phone told me they would have it here in Greensboro before I got off work and it wouldn’t be in issue at all. So in a nutshell DriveTime helped me pick the exact vehicle I wanted; Got the vehicle to me extremely quick and had a pretty cheap deposit for the vehicle I was looking for.

Jessica Turner was so great to work with. She was very personable and understanding. I got a good deal and good mileage on a car that I love. I was able to drive off with the car that day. Everything in the car works great. It even comes with a bunch of features for free. She even explained everything really thoroughly and made it easy to follow (i.e. features, contract, etc.). She was able to work with me on payment dates and even called around for insurance quotes for me. I have already recommended it to my cousin who is looking for a car soon as well. Would definitely come back for a trade in and would recommend to anyone else.

I went into DriveTime just before Christmas to see if I could trade my car and get a car I actually liked. I was greeted by a really nice young woman with a great smile her name was Whitney if I remember correctly. She was really professional and not pushy at all. A real nice change from most car dealerships. She was very knowledgeable and quick. Even though I could not use my trade I still qualified for a car so as soon as I can unload the lemon I have I will be back to buy my car from Whitney!!! I purchased my vehicle yesterday evening at Drive Time on Wendover. The sales rep stayed two hours over her shift to get me in my new vehicle. Yes, the interest is high. But, you come to Drive Time for a reason. Poor or no credit. I was given a decent amount on my trade. I wasnt rushed into anything. I know what I signed in the contract and know how the numbers calculate. It all made sense. I have seen other reviews that is the reason for my previous statement. I am pretty satisfied with my experience. They could have more of a selection. They have a lot of Fords and Chevrolets. Jessica was my sales person.

The online credit approval, hassle free pricing and purchase process was less intimidating than I expected. My credit is less than perfect.
