I’m so excited about my new 2022 Hyundai Tucson. Tank was awesome and gave me the most competitive pricing compared to other Hyundai dealerships in the Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro area. The finance guy even got me a lower interest rate than SECU. I left with the vehicle I wanted and a slightly lower car payment then I was expecting. If you’re in the market fir a vehicle, I highly recommend Tank. He will make sure you leave smiling.

I purchased a 2022 Kona N-Line on 9/30. I was assured by my salesperson that property tax was included in closing. within 2 weeks I had a bill for property tax, and my wireless charging platform broke. Between Brian (sales manager) being extremely irritated throughout my experience, and Clinton (Business Manager) not being able to communicate with his employees to fix my issues it has taken a full month of bi-weekly trips to the dealerships just to get racks put on my car. I was told one thing only for something different to happen, and for it to be tried to get pushed under the rug. They even lost a dealer tag in my rental car! Cue up another trip to the dealership after work. If you have anybody you care about in the market for a car, let them know to steer clear of this place. The warranties arent worth the hassle of being jerked around and feeling like you have to fight for every inch to get your situation fixed.

We recently purchased a 2022 Tucson SEL from Capital Hyundai and we are very happy with the car and the buying experience. Emma and Luis took good care of us and explained things to us both in chats before we came in, and once we came in to look at the car. I had some questions after the sale and Ashley reached out to me and went over my questions. Its great to have a dealership that still cares about you after the sale. Plus, we LOVE the new Tucson. Our experience with Capital has been so much better than other local dealers, we couldnt be happier.

Seriously dangerous mistake happened to my vehicle in the service!I took my 2010 Elantra there for two safety related manufacturer recalls, one required the entire steering column to be replaced. They agreed to fix the issues with no cost and they even provided me with a courtesy rental vehicle.Two days after I picked up my car, I was backing up in a parking lot that the steering wheel made a popping sound and went completely loose (refer to the photo)! I had no steering on my wheels! Imagine this could have happened on the road!After many phone calls to the service center, they finally agreed to tow my car after I waited in the parking lot for 4 hours. At the service center I was told that the problem happened to my vehicle is a new recall that was issued 2 days ago. No one could ever locate that new recall for us though! And, no one took responsibility for the severity of their negligence.Finally I picked up my car after the second time and then I did not have my horn, and the power to multiple indicator lights on the panel was lost!To sum up, I was going to trade my car with a brand new Elantra with them which I did not. I purchased a brand new Toyota C-HR instead!

Noticed a hole in the leather seat (right rear) of a white 2022 Tucson limited awd, a 40k dollar car. Was fully prepared to purchase this car, expecting them to fix or replace this seat. Instead, I was offered mudguards and 2 tanks of gas if I dealt with it. I was also told that I could take advantage of both the 1.9% financing and the recent grad discount. After speaking to other dealerships, it seems this is not true.

Took my daughters car in for the check engine light and car was only going 15-20 mph . They performed a diagnostics to tell me that the issue was a pedal assembly needing to be replaced…. To the tune of 775.00. Part cost less than 100.00. So we decided to go get the car towed home . The diagnostics was 206.00 …. Totally an up charge usual costs are around 125-150. When I asked why so much, they stated it was bc of shop supplies and the diagnostics was 165. What parts?? So I paid just to get out of there. Once the tow truck arrived went to start the car and it wouldn’t start- when I stormed inside to ask why the car wouldn’t start NO ONE HAD A REASON. Took my car in for one issue and ended up with another one … and god knows what else. Such a rip off and horrible service . Please never go here

At least in my experience with this dealer, I cant recommend them enough! At first I thought I just got lucky with my sales person, Simon. As I walked around, I noticed every sales associate was treating their customers with just as much kindness and general interest in helping them. I traded in a Subaru WRX, and got more for my trade than expected. Just a great buying experience all the way around!

The service manager Dale needs some serious anger management.Hes a hot head and very unprofessional.His inexperienced crew does a shotty job and caused damage to the body of the car using their lift.I wouldnt let this dealership work on a scooter!!!

It was very nice doing business with Afouni at this dealership. He was very professional yet warm and friendly. It was a first time buying experience for our daughter and fiancé’ and it was very positive. We went to a Cary dealership the day before pricing a car, and the price for the same model was higher. Afouni went further and even paired their cell phones to the car’s Bluetooth. He showed us where the service area was and explained how that process would go in the future. We did not get that car sales pressure feeling. It was a great experience. Thank you Afouni!

Got a car 8 MO.ago from them and purchased pricey waranty and today had a hybrid warning with hybrid battery issue. Apparently they no longer help with any rentals ever as well as loaners because they are so far behind in servicing peoples vehicles that the loaner department has 22 people on the list waiting for a car to drive while they wait for that car to be repaired. Theyre not even going to look at my car for another 10 days and I am now completely hitting the wall with any help at all. Even with the expensive warranty there is no car anywhere for me to drive unless I want to on my own dime Rent-A-Car for the 10 days it takes them to actually look at it and however long it takes them to actually fix it. Not a good space to put your customers into. I was told to call the consumer services department which I did and they cant even get back to me for the next 10 days.

Couldnt have been any better. My salesman, Mr Tank was the better. He answered all my questions accurately and honestly. I as looking at the purchase of a used car and walked out with a new car.The finance manager, Brandon was as nice or should I say the nicest finance guy Ive ever encountered and I have purchased many cars in my 69 years. We discussed the original APR and he understood what I was saying and the magic happened; I was a satisfied customer.

DONT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!!! This service department is the MOST unprofessional group I have ever encountered. We had a car get dropped off on a Tuesday, and 7 days later no one could tell us anything about the vehicle. Nobody had even attempted to diagnose what was wrong, and everybody had to call you back, which never happened. We always called back to confusion, and constant transfers to voicemails. I wish I didnt have to give any stars

On May 10, 2021, I received an email quote for a brand new vehicle with an odometer reading of one mile from a Capital Auto Group dealership. By clicking on the vehicle in the email, a Capital Auto Group website showed the vehicle as in stock.I also found the same vehicle with the same Vin number listed for sale and in stock by Capital Auto Group on a third party website.As the pricing was very, very good, I called to purchase the vehicle. I was told the vehicle just sold, but was informed of another vehicle I should purchase for many thousands of dollars more.I asked for the same deal on a similar vehicle. I was told I would receive a return phone call and did not.The next morning, the vehicle on Capital Auto Groups website was gone. In its place was Vehicle Not Found. The car had been disappeared from the internet.Having saved screen shots and the original email from Capital Auto Group containing the Vin number, I acquired a CARFAX disclosing the vehicle was sold by Capital Auto Group in 2019 to a Personal owner, with Title or registration issued and First owner reported which was then serviced elsewhere twice and was last reported to have 10,643 miles on it at the end of 2020.After an Estimated length of ownership of 1 yr. 5 mo., Capital Auto Group still had the unobtainable vehicle on their website and used it to misleadingly advertise with an amazing price.Bait and Switch advertising is a form of fraud. I was baited through an advertisement about a vehicle sold more than a year ago by the Capital Auto Group store which sold the car. The ad led to a phone call, only to discover the deal and the car was not available. Then, the store attempted to sell the something similar with a much higher price.How many other Capital Auto Group customers has this happened to?How many other consumers have been duped by this practice?It is terribly disappointing to encounter such dishonest behavior.

If I could leave no stars I would! This is a warning! If yall need any maintenance done on your vehicle, do not go here! This place will rip you off! I was quoted $350 for my rotors to be replaced and although I didnt get a quote on my brake pads... I was not expecting to spend $1200 for both! This was insane! For just rotors and brakes! Take your vehicle somewhere else! This was a steal!

I brought my car in last week because my glove box would not latch. After a brief inspection I was told the latch was broken and I would need a replacement glove box. I was asked how many miles were on the vehicle and told a replacement part would be ordered and in the following week. After a week I had not heard anything, so I called to inquire about the part. Apparently the part was never ordered. They promised to rush the order and would have the part in a couple of days. I came in this morning, had the glovebox replaced and was handed a bill for $270. I was surprised by this, thinking the part was covered under warranty. At no point was it ever mentioned to me it was not covered under warranty. I was told I could either pay for the part or they could uninstall it. Come to find out it was the Service Manager who failed to order the part. It was the Service Manager who failed to mention it was not covered under warranty. And it was the Service Manager who wouldnt come out of his office to speak with me about the matter. I own three Hyundais. All have been either purchased or serviced by Capital Hyundai. This is not the first issue Ive had with the service department there, but it will be the last. I usually get a survey after my visits to the service department. I didnt get one this time. I guess they anticipated what my response would be. If I could give zero stars for customer service I would.

They have a large variety of cars available. My sales person, Tank Hayes was the best. He let me know when new shipment of cars came in and hooked me up. The only drawback was approval from the bank. Took several hours. Do this in your day off! But the quality of service and auto was worth the wait. I would recommend them 💯

Went to look at a very low mileage certified pre-owned vehicle. I contacted Simon Ghareeb on the website. He was very professional from start to finish. He had the car waiting for me to test drive when I got there. After taking it for a spin my wife saw another low mileage certified vehicle that was a little bigger. We took that for a spin and when we came back Simon said he could get me in a brand new 2021 for a better price, exact vehicle down to the color, just newer and a better price. Simon did what he said. No pressure sales. Finance personnel were excellent as well. My wife and I were very impressed with the dealership and their personnel. Thank you Simon. Not good! June 8, 2021 visit rear hood latch replaced. Problem still exist as of 6-16-21. Multi point inspection performed. I still believe they are using spec for a Subaru...I have a 2021 Hyundai Kona SEL. Tire pressure specs according to door panel should be 33 psi website shows 33 psi. The multi point sheet shows 35 psi, would be for Impreza or outback and crosstrek.

Update they let me know that they handled the recall. I wish they would have communicated to me that is what the delay was for.But I am grateful.I had an appointment at 9 o’clock. When I came in the service department had no knowledge of my appointment, but assured me it would be ready in an hour. I only got an oil change. 2 hours have went by and I’m still here. Most of the time I have a good experience. However, a couple of weeks ago, I scheduled an 8am appt to come in & fix a recall b/c I was unable to stay that day. I came in today(8am) and they did not have me on the schedule. They took my car anyway and I got a message later saying they had to order some more parts b/c the recall part didnt fix the issue.🤷🏽 Im so confused! Anyhow, I have to go back when the parts arrive. Called on Saturday afternoon to express that I wanted to purchase the vehicle I had found online. Told the sales associate that I could not get there until Tuesday due to the distance and ACT testing. He assured me that it would not be problem and that a deposit wasn’t necessary. Texted Monday evening to confirm my arrival time for Tuesday and was told the car had been sold that evening. No one attempted to contact me prior to the sale. The sales associate said he planned to tell me in the morning(Tuesday). I already have flights and hotels booked. Now they can’t find anything comparable so this trip with all the additional expense is a complete waste of time and money.

Honest review. It did not start off on a good note but I am glad that the error was acknowledge by the owner and the managers of the dealership. I started having problems with my car, after 107K miles, it was bound to happen. I tried everything to avoid taking my car to a mechanic. Once it was clear I had to, I took it to Capital Hyundai. I have to say, I was impressed. Lindsey helped me, and was in contact with me through text and phone calls the whole time, letting me know what was going on. She was awesome. They will also get you Lyft’s when you drop your car off, which is super nice. My car runs great now, and I was super impressed.

David, my service rep was courteous and accurate in his time and price estimates. He was also very helpful and prompt with advice/answering questions. We dropped our Sante Fe off for some testing related to a recall, and the windshield wiper water pump wasnt working. Problems were resolved, testing was no charge, water pump came in a little below the estimate.

My 2015 Hyundai Sonata developed a major electrical problem that resulted in a major search for the problem and ultimate repair. Because the car was going to be in the shop for about 10 days the folks provided a loaner car for me and Lindsey kept me informed. Just wanted to say Im very disappointed, I set up an appointment with Hyundai of Greensboro as per protocol with the virus going around. I was assured that Id be first in line and I was very interested in my vehicle purchase. Wasnt too long after we scheduled an appointment I was informed they sold the vehicle anyway. Its obvious that this company does not know how to honor their own word. Again I am heavily disappointed and very upset that I was lied to but I guess thats where the shady car salesman stereotype comes from. I hope this is informative for anybody else interested in buying a vehicle from this dealership and I would highly advise looking elsewhere and not waste your time like I did.

Ive just got engine oil change service here. It was bad. I have a 2019 Santa fe. On the cap of my car engine - 2.4L, it says use 5W20 but on my receipt they put 5W30 which is for 2.0T. So I asked employee who cared me, she said I apologized that but we put 5W20. It was printed wrong. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT. Who can believe that? I assure they didnt check it. So, I read my car manual, it states 5W20 is for 2.4L and 5W30 is for 2.0T engines. I know those two oils have not really different but have different viscosity at high temp. But, as a genuine Hyundai service center, they are not supposed to work like this. I didnt expect the service and result like this while I was waiting more than 50 minutes even I got an appointment and paid $57. I recommend other people to not go to this place. Go to Carolina Hyundai which is in high point or Burlington Hyundai. I usually go Carolina Hyunday. They do work correctly. And lower price + faster. This place is not professional as a genuine Hyundai service center.

I really love the way David and the staff in the service department take care of my car and of Me. David takes his time in explaining to me in terms I can understand what my car requires and is mindful of The fact that I have been unemployed for the past nine months. I particularly like his Candid advice as what is necessary during this time I’ve been going through medical and financial challenges. I love the Hyundai ELANTRA. I had my first one for 13 years without any problems and I expect the same thing with the second one that I drive. This is the third visit for routine care on my Santa Fe. First two times with an appointment waited almost an hour and half for just a oil change. On Tuesday had a 9:40 appointment and was on time. After sitting until 10:35 I checked on my car to make sure I was going to be on time for my 11:00 appt. I was told they were “running behind” and my car was next to be worked on.I drive an hour to get to a Hyundai dealer, make an appointment and still have to wait and wonder when I will get service. Of note, there were so many in the waiting room that there was standing room only. How can you be running this behind at 9:40 when you do not open until 9???I pulled my car from “the line” to be told thank you. Something is wrong with this service.

This is the finest dealer Ive EVER dealt with ! They worked hard to put me in,the car I wanted, and when I called to make a routine service appt they were very accommodating with my schedule. I was treated with courtesy and respect. David let me know what was BEST for my car and driving needs. They were fast while I waited, and I hardly read any of my book !!!

Car was in for service and was completed when promised. My service advisor was Lindsey Ozment. She took the time to hear my concerns with the car and was friendly and very helpful. Service was completed quickly and correctly the first time. I highly recommend Capital Hyundai for service. I also recommend the brand Hyundai. My Elantra has 164,000 miles and still going strong with the proper service.

Initially I was pretty upset with Capitol Hyundai. As a resident of Greensboro, I went to them to procure my very first new car and kind of thought they dropped the ball. Instead I went over to Crenshaw Hyundai in Burlington, and drove off that same day with a brand new 2020 Hyundai Venue. When it came time for servicing, I couldnt make it to Burlington, but was told I would be able to get the car serviced at Capitol in Greensboro. It was good to see they held no grudges, and did an excellent job! Ill be going to them from here on,as they are around the corner from me

Not a fan, I went in for a trade & instead I got rude customer service. The sales lady was nice & informative but the men behind the big desk show no respect at all. Needless to say I walked out of there with no car & I wouldnt recommend anyone else going unless you have a ton of money in your pocket when you get there.

Two of our three Hyundai vehicles have now had to have remanufactured engines installed, fortunately while still covered under warranty and/or recall situations.Its great that Hyundai has extended warranties, but there have been altogether too many recalls. One of the engines was tested and found fine not long before it broke completely twice, once with a bad turbo pipe that ruined a $2,000 vacation, and the second time with a broken piston or pistons that necessitated complete replacement. Then a third time, immediately after engine replacement, the technicians failed to secure the drive train, causing a wobbly, noisy, ride and danger of it falling off. Then the dealership, true to form, failed repeatedly from multiple service personnel to return our phone calls. Next time I buy a Hyundai I will first look for a different dealership.Capital has done fine, but Hyundai needs to get a handle on the many recalls and recalls on recalls, etc. in order to instill confidence in owners.
