Dylan was scheduled to arrive at out home between 3-4 pm and gave us a call and got to the house at 1115 am. He was polite and helped with more than we had originally asked for at no extra charge. To woman who I spoke with in the office was also incredibly kind and helpful. Would recommend 10/10, some of the best professional service I have ever received.

A+ I cannot recommend this company enough. I own my own business and look for great customer service. I live out of state and my mother needed a new A/C unit installed. They not only took care of her but understood when the inspector came twice and mom didnt open the door to him. She has dementia and forgot he would be coming. This company went above and beyond to recommend a great unit to my sister & mom. Installation went without a hitch and to follow up, the accounting department understood when I found out there was a cap on moms card and I couldnt get it paid all in one shot. I cannot say enough about Apex! As a single mom, with aging HVAC units, I’ve had to call them twice in the past year. Once when my heat went out in the middle of winter and again, this holiday weekend, when our A/C went out in 90+ temps. Both times they arrived within hours and did a phenomenal job getting us back up and running. I’ve been shocked both times. They are more than fair with their prices and don’t try to catch you with things you don’t need. I am well aware my units won’t last forever (my furnace is over 30 years old and my A/C is 25 years). But, they do incredible work servicing these units so I can maintain them while I save up to replace. Absolutely incredible service!

Dylan was quick to diagnose the problem with our AC unit. He was friendly and easy to talk to. Gave in depth explanations of why the motor needed to be repaired and what the problems were that were preventing the AC unit from working properly. He worked hard and was fast with completing the job. Was willing to be patient when needing to wait a few minutes while I was on a work call as well.

Apex installed a new furnace for us 7 years ago and their service was outstanding. Recently our A/C unit went out just at the start of the stretch of 90 degree humid weather we just had and Dan did an excellent job on getting us booked in their already tight schedule to get comfortable and taken care of. I used the online scheduling on the Apex website to schedule repair of my AC. I uploaded some photos of the compressor and air handler unit. I got a call from their scheduler with the date/time. Communication was good and I received a call from my tech before he came over. He was early for the appointment (which worked out for me). Chris arrived and was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He made sure to wear a mask at all times and also shoe covers when he came in the house. He replaced a part on the compressor and made sure everything was working as it should be. The cost was the service trip fee plus the replacement of the part, which was reasonable. I would gladly call them again for any heating/cooling needs.

Jake K. did an excellent job! He came early, was super nice and professional, and even went above and beyond with the repair - leveling our AC and putting up with all my questions. The veterans discount was a nice surprise, too!I also really appreciated talking to a live person when I initially called as opposed to leaving a message at another HVAC company (that installed our original AC unit). We had multiple APEX technicians assist with our Bryant furnace installation. All were friendly, knowledgeable, just normal guys that knew what they were doing. Everything was done exactly as promised when we were given the estimate. When they left, it was as if they were never there (except we had a new, reliable furnace). Id recommend APEX to anyone, and have.

New ac unit installed April of 21 to replace original AC unit. Previously had Apex here in 17 to replace original heating system. Once again outstanding service and installation. Dan the set up wizard here to perform pre-install study and recommendation. Service techs followed as usual with exemplary sequence.. carpet and floor protection, booties, care with equipment and tools to avoid drywall and other home damage. Explanation of services perfect, if you decide to stick your nose in now and then. As a former trainer of hundreds, the training and sequencing was and is important to me. The install team that arrived at my home has been carefully trained, kudos. It becomes apparent immediately that the owner of Apex has got service and customer care figured out..

Every time I use Apex, I am extremely pleased. Every employee that I have met is very helpful and informative about all of our options. I never feel like they are trying to sell something, but like they truly want to help us. JT was a blessing to talk to! He called me back last night around 11 PM to diagnose why the fan blade was not running and it ended up being a blown capacitor. Due to him going above and beyond on the job, his insight allowed me to cool my house down for the night. He was able to squeeze me in earlier then planned today and left me with the feeling that I wasn’t getting robbed or nickeled and dimmed. APEX service is above and beyond whatever One Hour Heating and Air could ever provide. Their after hours calls are cheaper and their techs aren’t on commission so they won’t try to sell you things you don’t need. I was so impressed, I am going to sign up for their yearly maintenance plan. God is good.

JT was great, he didnt give up when initially he was unsure what the source of our gas leak was. He was able to correctly diagnose our issue and was able to replace a faulty gas valve in our furnace the same day - within a couple hours. He took care of the warranty paperwork for the valve too so I didnt have to handle it.He even helped me with a couple of a/c issues I was having (loud noise). I feel like he went above and beyond what was expected. Apex brands itself as doing just that and they delivered. I am thankful I called them instead of the place that actually installed all of our HVAC stuff.

I have been calling APEX for all my heating/cooling needs for the last 15 years. I‘ve never had a bad experience. They are always personable and professional. Always good at explaining what they’re doing or why a part needs to be replaced. Always upfront and fair about cost and expectations. Today they replaced a rusted faulty pressure switch to get my furnace firing up again. The furnace was still getting inconsistent pressure so they made some adjustments to get it in a satisfactory range. The best part is that they could have replaced the motor instead of making the adjustments. This would’ve been roughly $700. They don’t just replace parts to make money. They try to get your equipment in good working condition at the lowest possible price to their consumer. A+

Their techs are great to deal with and were able to fix a long-term issue we were having with our heater. This is what sets them apart: their respectfulness. Nothing bothers me more than when a service person walks into our house with their boots on. I never re-schedule with any service company that does this. Apex has their crew bring booties to pull over their boots--I have no idea why other companies dont do this. During Covid the techs are fully masked the entire time. We use Apex for bi-annual maintenance and because of their expertise and their respectfulness, we will never look anywhere else.

After an initial miscommunication about the appointment, the service was excellent.I called the next morning and Troy was out within the hour.He was excellent, and was able to walk through some of the details about my 3 zone boiler system. As a new homeowner this was really useful. He took time to answer questions I had, as well as explained the issues we were having with the system. He also recommended additional updates when an appropriate time arose. My furnace stopped working on a Saturday afternoon. It’s winter in Wisconsin, so no time to waste. I didn’t have a regular furnace company so I called APEX because I saw they had 5 stars. As an older woman, I’m always worried about getting taken advantage of, which happened only a year ago, with a sump pump replacement. I received a call back within 15 minutes and the serviceman, Troy, was here in less than an hour. He was professional, polite, and in a matter of minutes had diagnosed my problem. Luckily, it was a drainage problem that he repaired quickly and inexpensively. I was excited that I didn’t have to ponder if I was getting the real story. I will definitely call when I replace my furnace in the spring and encourage older people, women, like me, to use their service. Honesty goes a long way...

Ive never seen the company like this before, very professional workers and helpful staff. Ive called them to install a thermostat for our pool area in our business property but found out there was bigger problem from our side. Theyve installed the thermostat right and they said they could not resolve our problem because they wasnt proving that services so said that will not charging anything. Even they helped me find other company who can help me in that situation. What can be better than that. They came all the way from green bay to appleton to work, theyve did their job but still did not charge anything at all. Best customer service experience ever. Will looking forward to work with them If we ever have a chance to.

Its never a good day in WI when you wake up one morning and your furnace is blowing out cold air and you can see your breath. Yikes! Called APEX and Jake was here within 5-6 hours. Had us back up and running in less than thirty minutes. Cleaned and checked everything, gave me a history of my furnace and even looked at an old humidifier I had attached but was not currently running. Incredibly helpful, great online chat feature to make scheduling fast and easy... I cant say enough about this company. Very impressed. I just moved back to WI after 10 years in Chicago. I used APEX prior to leaving WI and now that Im back, I will only use APEX. Products, service, staff - all exceptional. I purchased a home. They inspected my HVAC, tuned up the HVAC and just recently installed a ceiling mounted gas-fed forced air heater in my garage. Everything was and is perfect.

They got extra life out of a dying machine! The new furnace made my A/C so much better with my existing unit! It was set up wrong for 16 years resulting in $300/mo bill in summer for a 1500 sqft house. Ridiculous! It took ALL day to drop the temp 5 degrees. After the vent adjustments, it went from 90 to 72 in less than an hour. Amazing!!! I am not afraid of summer anymore. Very impressed with service, communication, and timeliness of salesman and installation techs. The other companies we had quote for a new furnace were much higher BTU than needed for our square footage which cost much more for the unit and would have taken up way more space in our tiny furnace room.

Love the protection plan, they come 2x per year to check furnace and air conditioner and they call me to schedule. Honest, hardworking and they tell you exactly what they found and what they recommend but are never push a sale. Trust them completely!

The best company I have worked with. I always had a furnace moved into a new house that had boiler. The first year in the boiler needs to be replaced and these guys have spent the last six or seven months making sure I know how this stuff works. Initially there was a snafu with the measurements which resulted in the team being at our home much longer than anticipated. The team was very professional and stayed until the measurements were correct. The only thing I would change is that the communication about what the problem was should have been earlier in the day, instead of the end of a very long install. Weve used Apex on several occasions - the first as part of a service plan to check on our air conditioner in the spring and our furnace in the fall and then to install a heating unit in our basement. In both cases, the guys were efficient, explained what they were doing or if there was a problem, and even looked at another question I had unrelated to what they were there for. Had some issues with our furnace since the previous owner liked to do everything himself. This was simply a furnace tune-up. Cody was the technician that came and was very professional and had plenty of input. He rewired a few things (thermostat was acting odd), he patched a few holes, replaced the filter and brought new life into our furnace.The price can be a little high for a tune-up but you get your moneys worth. I would definitely recommend Apex!

There is no other HVAC firm in the greater Green Bay Area that I would use other than Apex. True customer service, followup calls and quality people. Dylan P. was our technician.....knowledgeable, communicated what he was doing and a pleasant personality to boot.

We had a high efficiency boiler go out after 11 years. Apex gave us options for both other high efficiency boilers or a cast iron boiler. We went with the cast iron. Troy installed our new boiler and did an amazing job. He also rearranged our piping for our boiler and installed a new hot water tank. He is extremely hard working and one of the best workers I have ever had in my home for anything. He explained everything and was extremely courteous. I will never use any other heating and cooling company again except for Apex. Thank you Troy for all your hard work you did for us.

They also support many veteran organizations in the area! Highly recommend. Had furnace serviced and great explanations provided. That evening furnace stopped working. My furnace went out late on a Sunday afternoon. I called my usual furnace guy who didnt answer me til hours later. I called around and found Apex. My technician,Cody, answered the phone right away. He came down 43 in game day traffic and was at my house in less than an hour. He was able to make it so I had heat for the night and all day Monday.. he came back with the part I needed on Monday afternoon and fixed my furnace. I paid a premium for him to come on Sunday which I totally understood. There was no trip charge the second time to bring the correct part. The office people were extremely nice and Cody was great. Thank you so much for making a crisis a little more bearable.
