Music Depot is a excellent place to purchase music equipment. Tyler helped me purchase my new guitar. He was very knowledgeable about all the guitars and really made it easier to find the right guitar for me. Excellent customer service! I will definitely be back again!

All of my kids love to play musical instruments and this store has everything they need. From books to guitar picks, and drums to xylophones. The repairs are reasonable and the staff is helpful. We love the atmosphere and quick service.

I bought a snark tuner for a guitar and a strap.. lots of stuff to pick and choose from.. staff hooked me up quick.. didnt try to sell me the most expensive one.. just the one that would do the best for what I was doing.. real friendly folks.. if you are in need of cords, peddles, a guitar.. a new PA.. come look at what these guys and gals have.. it wont be a waste of time...

I would highly recommend The Music Depot to any beginner, intermediate, or experienced musician. I have played guitar for the past 14 years and have performed all around Colorado. 2020 hit and live performances are not much of a thing anymore and wanted to start my journey of recording my own music. The GM of the store Tyler, was nothing short of extremely professional, knowledgeable and insightful around all the questions I had to get me started. I have purchased all of my sons band accessories here. They have been very helpful and courteous regardless of how large or small the purchase. I am not familiar with band equipment so they have guided all of my purchase needs to ensure I get all of the correct items. Rather than going online, I have found exactly what I’m looking for, in stock, and always learn more about the instrument care.

I purchased a Teton acoustic loved it after a couple of weeks it started to have a lot of buzzing when played that’s to be expected it came with a free set up but to get that done is not a easy thing to do it’s always two weeks from now no appointments! Just bring it in so I don’t think I will be back for the amp or what ever else I needed I will have to pay to have it set up ! And it was in the price ! Not a cheap guitar!

Great experience here had everything I needed immediately and ordered what they didnt have in stock, amazing band and guitar techs who are incredibly knowledgeable, if they dont have an answer for you immediately they try to find it for you. I will always bring my business here.

Even though the state has been opened up, they still are trying to force people to wear them. Zero stars. I guess spending on small businesses is out. Amazon it is, which is a shame, because I’d prefer to go to a local store.

Great selection for modern guitars. Its not the same old selection of just fenders like at other stores. They have PRS, Ibanez and other great brands.The manager is a great help and knowledgeable, helped me with choosing new kind of strings I havent tried before.Also looks like he is trying to get new innovative products and not stuck in 1970.

Some dork will make you wear one of his silly masks if he thinks your mask isnt good enough. Needed a new trumpet, ended buying a single E string instead, take your money elsewhere if possible.

They have a new nextdoor location for band/orch instrument repair. Large area. Jake is very friendly, accommodating and good. Recommend Maps Nav in & out as the streets around there were planned by an engineer on crack! Parking right out front however.

This is my go to place for gear and repairs! They do an amazing job and are helpful with selection of all sorts. Support stores like this that give lessons, repairs and more! Well worth the trip!

Super helpful. They have a relaxed atmosphere but dont let that fool you. They are great at what they do. My guitar was restrung, set up, and tuned and has never played this well even when brand new. They had everything my son needed for band and where super helpful with all of that. GREAT PEOPLE!

Ive going to the Music Depot for 10 years. Always wonderful, knowledgeable and professional service. Jess has fine tuned my bass guitar, my wifes ukulele, installed a pick up in my Martin guitar and helped my friend straighten out a warped guitar body. They special ordered a ukulele for my wife. Always friendly and helpful.

The Music Depot is wonderful. Ive purchased everything from a ukulele for my wife to picks for my guitar. Jess worked on my old Martin guitar and returned it to prime playing ability and sound. Great service and knowledgeable staff.

I have instruments that aren’t from the store and the will still replace the strings.The staff is really friendly and helpful and I love that they help with all my questions and that they have an answer for them I will use this store for all of my emergencies with music and will continue to use this store as I grow up and add more instruments to my learning.

I simply want to speak up for Jim Dupré, guitar teacher at Music Depot. I have been taking lessons from Jim for several years and I know him as both an excellent teacher and musician. Jim has a knack for working with students to connect with their musical tastes, and to help them find their talents and overcome their barriers.

The selection is pretty pathetic. Employees are just not knowledgeable enough to properly assist in tracking down desired instrument. They were pleasant and helpful as they could be, but were not in a position to provide useful assistance.

The absolute worst experience. They do not charge your card properly for payments. They do not return phone calls and when they answer it always is someone else you need to talk to. When they mess up and dont charge you, nor answer calls, then you get a pounding knock at the door at 9 at night serving you. Then when you pay the entire note they give you no ownership papers.This company is a joke. They are rude and steal from people.Buyer beware. To many other places to shop. Thanks for the worst experience ever and I will spend a lifetime avoiding anything music depot. It anything you fundraise or sponsor.Totally disgusted customer in Colorado!!!!!

Amazing. These guys have been nothing but fantastic to us. We rented my sons cello through them since the school had their flyer in with orchestra sign up information, and I havent regretted it once. They have cheaper rental prices than other local places, for one. When my sons cello broke, they repaired it quickly and very, very cheaply, and they also hooked us up with a brand new case because I couldnt afford a new one to replace the soft one that had come with it. When his bow broke, they let us know the cost of restringing or purchasing a new one, but then sold us a refurbished bow at a quarter of the cost.My trumpet from 20 years ago needs some love, and I will be taking it to them.

Music Depot is fantastic, bottom line. They are friendly and knowledgeable, and have a good selection of everything from high end instruments to everyday accessories. On top of all of that, Jesse is a certified Fender repair tech/warranty servicer (the only one in northern Colorado), which is important to me as a primarily Fender player. They also will setup/maintain any instrument you buy from them for free as long as you own it (and their prices are very reasonable for work on instruments you didnt get from them). Again, I cant stress enough how good these people are to their customers. Just to give an example, I was waiting on my tax refund to buy a guitar from them, and came in almost every day to play it. I was always greeted with a smile and friendly hello, and after deciding on the guitar and telling them my situation, they set up the guitar for me (even asking me what size and brand of strings I prefer). They also gave me a great deal for the guitar I was trading in. I know this review is long, but I cannot stress how grateful I am to have such a professional (and locally-owned) shop in the Greeley area. Keep up the good work!

Good store and staff. Had a little bit of a mix up on a mandolin set up which is why I only gave 2 stars. But everything else about music depot is great.

They had my flute for 3 weeks to tune it up and replace the pads. My flute has not been playing well and after my band teacher looked at it, she noticed that none of the work was done that was supposed to be done.

Walked in this store to have a saxophone, that I recieved as a Christmas gift, serviced. I was greeted (I use the term greeted extremely loosely) by a younger gal, with blue hair. She immediately turned her lip up at me once she saw the brand of saxophone and said she couldnt help me with parts for that brand. You see, I have been out of the music loop for about 10 years and was excited to get back into lessons and eventually purchase a nice jazz saxophone, once I got back into my groove. I was so turned off by the attitude I recieved that I thanked her for her time and left the store. Unfortunately this store is literally blocks from my home, but after the experience I just cant see myself patronizing this establishment. My hand has now been forced to drive across town or to loveland/fort Collins for my music needs. It is truly a shame that small businesses have employees that are allowed to conduct themselves in such a manner that drives individuals away from reconnecting and following their passions.
