Call first if you are looking for something specific, as the website seems to be off.. I went for 2 things that the website said they had but did not.. wasted time and parking is limited. However, I had to update as the staff was very welcoming and did do their best to help.

I went to The Nerd Store to look into painting models. I was very satisfied with my service. I believe the person who helped me went by the name Harper. Very helpful, very enthusiastic and also just a cool dude! I would say he helped me decide on this new hobby and have no regrets. Will continue to come to the place and hope to see it grow more!

I have token my daughter here a few times and she loves it. Staff is nice.Store is clean. Bought my daughter a fidget toy there when we got home it broke so we went back and they has no problem replacing it (keep on mind we bought more then 6 things there and it was only 1 that broke). As far as prices though it is a little up there.

The main strength of The Nerd Store is the friendly and helpful staff. I recently went in with my son to buy a comic to help him with his reading. The staff when out of their way to provide recommendations and even gave him some Free Comic Book Day comics to help him get started. I couldnt ask for a better local comic shop. They truly care about the customer and their staff.

Great place to check out comics, games, and collectibles. They started out a little rough, but have continuously made improvements. Its now a great game store.

Over all not impressedI have gone in a couple times for the Funko Pops and the majority of the time the figures are damaged and always WAY overpriced with no room for negotiation... So I figured as for their highly set prices they must buy them at fair cost boy was I wrong I brought in two big totes worth of MINT funko pops and they had soft protectors on more than half of them and I had called ahead of time and I was told they will offer at least 60% of their overall value so I left them in their possession for 4 HOURS to look over everything I get there and it came to my attention of course after waiting so long they base all the figures off EBAY PRICING not official figure values and I already knew they were gonna low ball me and thats why it had taken so long they had searched ebay for the cheapest version of every figure then knocked of 60% which they then offered me $380 for my figures now I know that may sound like a good price but I had already priced them out myself, and well lets just say I could of not been anymore insulted at that incredibly rude low offer and I was completely lost at what a waste of time it turned out to be my figures are worth $1461 total after the 60% cut it wouldve still been roughly around $877. SO i guess just take it from me dont bother selling your Pops here and do not buy them here its a waste of time and funding.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful! The store is always clean and tidy. Selection is surprisingly good for the size of the store.

If you are looking to shop here...trust me when I say you should RUN!! This place is terrible! If I could give zero stars, I would. The rudest people in Colorado work there. I swear its on the job application. You have to be downright hateful to get hired here. So no, you dont need that piece, card or comic that bad, plenty of other places that dont rely on hate as their store policy. YES its that bad! Its actually a scary place to shop. You feel so unwelcome & uncomfortable there...like you are intruding on them.Spend your money elsewhere, youll be glad you did.

Full disclosure - I actually work at this awesome comics, games and collectibles store. That could make me a bit biased, but I was a customer for a year before coming on board. The reason I work there is the same as the reason I was a regular. Its more than just a place to buy cool stuff; its a community where we play games, connect people with cool comics and build friendships in a safe nerdy space.

Great place for comics, card games, dice games, posters, and all of your other nerdy needs. The cashier is nice and they know what theyre talking about. Cool place overall 🤙

Update from my previous 5 stars. Went to pull up to my Local Comic Store to find out they closed my pullbox without notice. Hundreds of dollars of comics that I will have to spend way more to have to find elsewhere.I confronted the owner who was there when I received the news, and he just shrugged when I asked him why they couldnt just call me so I could pay by phone (I live out of town and used to travel to Greeley just for this store). This store used to have passion and good service but its being ran by someone who most likely hates their job and doesnt even read comics. Count the days till a new comic store comes and takes all the business in town, with one simple concept, good SERVICE.

If you are quoted a price over the phone be sure to triple check. I drove over an hour and took time off of work to get a Pokémon Shining Fates elite trainer box. I was quoted $54 on the phone and specifically asked the price because I wasn’t going to come if they were inflated. I pulled up to the store and was told the price was now $129. But hey I guess that is a deal compared to eBay at $140, which is what I was told by the worker.

Travis, Mariah and Harper are absolutely the kindest and most professional employees Ive met at a gaming store. I first came to The Nerd Store approximately one year ago and the staff that evening were absolutely fantastic then as well. They have everything from Warhammer, Pokemon and Magic the Gathering to creative (educational) items, such as build your own microscope kits, comics, board games and so much more. I dont understand how this place could ever receive a negative review for Ive been numerous times and have always received exemplary service. Mariah was getting ready to close the store down when a man walked in with about 50 common MTG cards wanting cash to get gas, etc. He didnt know what uncommon from rares were and it was obvious that he had never done this before. Most people would have told the guy to be on their way but Mariah actually gave the guy over the amount it was worth AND offered him and his wife/gf a drink and something to eat! She showed genuine care for her customers and always has a positive vibe. Travis was incredibly patient when it got busy and he had to redo a lengthy mistake in which I may have caused while submitting a buylist! I highly recommend The Nerd Store for all of your gaming needs and I promise, you wont be disappointed.

This place is absolutely amazing great and knowledgeable ppl. They are a bit socially awkward but usually so is the clientele. Hands down best store for all things nerdy and some fun games for the normals.

I love this place. They have a good selection of most everything a nerd could want. From comic books to ttrpgs, minis, and dice to board games and MTG. Good selection, nice staff that arent too pushy.

Was here for my first time and really liked it. The staff was friendly and informative when I asked about Dungeons and Dragons stuff. They were also able to help my wife with information about a comic series she wanted to collect. The store was clean and organized.10/10 will visit again.

We had a great experience with the store. Andrew (an employee) helped us with getting dice for magic the gathering. Then explained in great detail about the game. And after that he gave us free starter decks to initiate us to play and re-integrate into the card game.Will definitely be returning!!Thanks for the awesome time.

Best comic/game store to go in town.

We usually love going to The Nerd Store, but I don’t think we’ll be going back again. We had a terrible experience with a VERY rude employee. I wish I would have gotten his name. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but his terrible attitude just makes his appearance even worse. There wouldn’t have been any resistance from us to comply his request, but he approached us so argumentatively that he made us feel very offended and uncomfortable. That red head gentleman needs to work on his social skills.

I tell you what let your inner geek fly at this place it has everything that you need and all the stuff you dont want or dont need the staff is great and friendly and if you need to unload your Comics or just go in there and kill some cover time definitely place to go to I highly recommended

Attentive salesperson. They have a lot of things that cover the DnD area... Also, getting into mini painting is a lot easier when you have someone with access to a ton of resources and experience. They know what they are doing, and I will continue to support this local business.

I went here to buy a booster box or two of Magic cards and, not only were they more than helpful, but they did everything in their power to get as much product into my hands as possible for the money I planned on spending. I wont get into the specifics, but man did they hook me up. They went above and beyond, and have made a new regular because of it. I look forward to being fiscally irresponsible in this establishment again!

Okay I love this place I’ve been an avid supporter since the day I realized it was a place about a month or two after it opened and I will always support it because they are always friendly, always knowledgeable, and never give you any grief. I have a hard time picking exactly what I want and just kinda looking around the store is no worry to them they don’t mind explaining things to you and are honest if they aren’t sure letting you know what they do know but keeping expectations realistic.

Really cool little shop I stumbled upon while shopping in Downtown Greeley. SO MANY fun, unique games and gizmos for everyone and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is the coolest store Ive been to in a long time! Variety of items available for sale is astounding. Theres something for everyone here, all ages and interests. I love the way they have games set up on tables so you can actually see what they are and how to play instead of just reading on the back of a box. Customer service was top rate. My family will be going back here on a very regular basis!

The Nerd Store is a wonderful shop that started out as mostly comics, but over time as grown and evolved into more of a well-rounded shop that continues to keep the pace with trends and changes within not only the comics industry, but board games, tabletop RPGs, and collectibles.The staff is always friendly, and helpful. The shop is community focused, and offers so many events and gatherings. There’s a huge space upstairs to get together and hang out, play some D&D, and really be surrounded by people who share your love of all things nerdy. They have created something really amazing here in little ol Greeley.

The staff was very helpful as well as very knowledgeable when it came to any and all comics old and new. Great if this is the thing youre into! Game room upstairs is huge and staff / building is very accommodating to larger groups wanting to play. Huge game selection, not for video games but more tailored towards card and board games. Ive just found myself spending more and more time here, I really like the atmosphere!

My husband loves this place and we always find items that we cant find anywhere else. We shop there frequently and the workers are always friendly and helpful.

This place is usually great, but Ive spent thousands of dollars between trading, selling, and buying magic the gathering cards and have never been told that they would not take a single that I had buy listed...until tonight. The newest employee would not take a card I had buy listed, cutting my sale down by a decent bit, for trivial reasons that had never come up before, despite the thousands of cards Ive exchanged through this store over the years Ive been dealing with them. This new employee definitely put a damper on my willingness to sell and trade with nerd store in the future.

The best place for everything nerdy! The staff is so friendly and always have great recommendations for anything you could possibly be interested in! Plus, theyre great with little kids too. If they dont have it in store, theyre more than happy to order it for you. Theyve also got great game nights for all sorts of table top, board, and card games. Definitely worth stopping in with friends and family.

I was very impressed with this store. I was on vacation and went in here not expecting much. It surpassed my expectations. We dont have a comic book store anymore where Im from. It was nice being able to look through a bunch of comics. Staff was super friendly and even tried helping me fins specific comics I was searching for, for gifts.

Its a cute little store hidden off from the naked eye. Friendly staff and a nice feeling of warmth entering the store. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys comics and dnd. They even have a upper level were you can play card games and dnd.

The best place to get pokemon cards around

Super cool little place. Visited for the first time the other day looking for MTG cards and was met with a very friendly and personable staff member. He told me about all the events the store holds and helped me refamiliarize myself with the game. I will definitely be returning for future purchases!Unrelated to the store, parking can be a little tricky since it is downtown.

There is a huge variety of stuff, as with most stores like this. But it is a very big store and the worker is knowledgeable and very helpful. He even recommended a different town to visit for hiking and exploring!

The employees are always so helpful and educated on every aspect of the store. We love to give them our business!

The two employees working on Friday, March 22 were cheerful and helpful! When my friend and I asked about the board game Trekking, he was incredibly knowledgeable and even helped us get a game started! Always a good place.

A sizable selection of goods and games, but good luck getting them to acknowledge you. Everyone there must just work there for fun cuz they sure dont try very hard to ask or answer questions, and heaven help you if you want to order something they dont have in stock. In five visits, Ive been spoken to once. And it was because I instigated.

Love The Nerd Store. Try to make it from over a hundred miles away at least twice a week. Of all the places for gaming they have the best overall stock and most frequent events. Really nice shop! Im from Denver (Lakewood) & had to drop a package off in Greeley. Hubby wanted to go to a comic book store & this one was closer. He works in a comic book store here. We were both impressed with the range of merchandise they carry, including games, miniature paint models, figures & comics. Hubby talked shop with the manager but managed to find a good selection of new & back issue comics that he didnt have. Good amount of Variant covers. Glad we took a chance & stopped in.

The staff was very nice and they had a lot of knowledge. They helped me pick out which comic was good for which age groups, buying comics in chronological order, etc. There was also a whole section just for people who are new to comics. It was a very nice store. A huge selection!

Great collection of weirdness!

They know their stuff. Solid place. I went in looking for a new board game, and the staff was knowledgeable about the games they have on hand. They were a great help finding a new game for the two of us. Their comic and collectable selection is impressive. Friendly, and quality information, and a good place for anyone to check out, not just for nerds.

This store had a little bit of everything. Games, comics, anime, figurines, posters. Definitely the place to go if youre needing to update or add to your comic collection. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if youre needing gifts or something for yourself.

We walked in at closing time and they were still very willing to help us. One of the employees(it may have actually been the owner) was actually really excited to show us extra stuff

I went in for the first time today to check on a new issue coming out and was told that I didn’t need to reserve a copy, to just come in at midnight.... before I waited in line I verified that I indeed could get a copy ( 3rd time verifying I can get a copy without a reservation) waited in line and then was told sorry three people who aren’t here right now get their copy before you.... with online shopping being so easy you would think people would at least try to attract new customers

Great store. They run a lot of events here and I certainly appreciate that. I wish I could attend more events, but that is totally on me. A good selection here. Expansions are lacking a bit, but I do understand from a retailer perspective.

Awesome little comic book store. They also have a very wide selection of board games which is really cool along with collectible items. I do wish they had a bigger comic area specifically for back issues but I still really enjoy this place.

I visited this place with my son (while he signed up for MTG tournament.) I was impressed with the selection of comics, games, and accessories. Plus the staff were really nice and accommodating.

This is my go-to comic book store.Are there better ones out there? I dont know, I only go here. They have a good selection of games as well as dedicated days for playing certain games in store.

Amazing dice selection. Tons of great board games and comics. Almost no manga or anime, and the Dungeons and Dragons section had all the 5e basics, but no previous editions. A very, very nice store to have in such a small town. Very classy,has snacks and drinks, as well as space upstairs to game.

Nice comic book store atmosphere, with a versatile upstairs that can be used for anything from board games to concerts!

Its so much more than a comic book store. They have lots of great figurines, games, and even a tournament room upstairs. What they dont have is a lot of customer service focus especially when a gaming session has ended and the gamers are hogging all the counter space just standing around.

Very relaxed atmosphere and the staff is friendly. Its always nice to see them greet their customers by name!
