I have rented vehicles from this U-haul location over the last 11 years and have always had a problem, culminating this morning with my 6 AM 24/7 pickup not being possible due to their human error that they knew about and could have been avoided. Their error is costing me hundreds of dollars. U-Haul corporate attempted to assist me, however they could not. This will be my last time attempting to rent a vehicle at this location, and I cannot recommend strongly enough that no one else rent here either.

Best U haul location ever! Friendly staff, fast service, helpful staff, cheap prices and great variety of moving supplies. Chuck is your go to guy, he is the most helpful and friendly employee there but he needs to be more enthusiastic and not sound so boring when he talks. :) other than that... Chuck will be more than happy to happy you in anything to make your moving easier. If you need to choose what U haul to use in the town of Great Falls, definitely use this location over the other ones. Clean location, no waiting in line, answered the phone quickly and very great deals on everything. Thank you guys!!! Definitely recommend this U- haul location!

Rude staff. Short chubby dude with sunglasses on his head got upset I paid for an extra two days for a trailer. Had to mention something about it when I went in for another rental. Bum.

The attendant on Saturday morning was polite, professional and got me in and out quickly on the return!Way better than 10th Ave store!

I called for a quote for a future move and was assisted by Curtis. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and easy to speak with. He answered all of my questions. I was very satisfied with my encounter with this young man. I plan to call back and make my reservations with this U-Haul franchise. Cudos!

Clifton helped us through the whole rental process. He was extremely courteous, helpful, friendly & personable. Although he is a new employee he made sure to ask the right questions & was able to effectively communicate with both staff & the customer, me.Clifton went above & beyond to make sure our experience was great.I highly reccomend renting from this location, Clifton is your guy!

I was having trouble finding anyone in town to look at my factory trailer brakes and Mike at UHaul west thoroughly checked everything out and diagnosed the issue! He was very nice and professional!! I love it when people like him remind me that customer service is still real, thank you Mike

No point in making reservations with this place. I got a call saying I had to pick up the equipment I reserved from a different U haul 2 hours out of town because it was the closest place with the equipment I reserved. I reserved the truck and trailer over a month out. Hell of a way to treat a customer.

I actually thought everyone was really nice and helped me to move my stuff from California to Montana unfortunately if you go into your next billing cycle for the next month they will charge you and will not give you any refund after only using it for a couple of days. This company only cares about making the money!!! They charged me aver 2,000 to move but cannot refund a small amount for the monthly rent for two u haul boxes. Ridiculous!

Stay away from this Uhaul! I called for a price quote on a car dolly. The gentleman started by asking me my name, address and phone number. I gave him my first name as a kind gesture and he proceeds to ask me for all the additional personal info. I reminded him that I was calling for a quote not a booking. He threw a fit over the phone with a bad attitude. I asked him if it’s their company policy to ask the customer all this information for a quote. He became angry with me when I asked him this question. I said, “look I’m just calling for a simple quote, I really don’t think it’s Uhaul’s procedure to ask me for all my personal information. May I please speak to your Manager. He responds by saying, “the rental is $300.00 and please hold”. He placed me on hold for 20 minutes at which time a gentleman picked up the phone claiming to be the manager. He too proceeds to give me a bad attitude. It’s very clear to me that the employee was just working in an environment created by his team leader and neither one of them care. I then searched online for a quote using the same dates and car dolly one way to to Las Vegas and the quote was $120.00. This place is a scam!!

Owner called me I told him we were keeping the uhaul an extra day he said he had it rented out already and needed it by 3 pm we unloaded into the yard to be respectful to the people renting it out we arrived at 1 pm ( it was due at 9 am) to be told he was going to charge us the extra day anyways because we were late. Never again will I go there this is the 2nd time we have had horrible customer service. I called uhual to make a complaint I better get my money back I was so tempted to take the keys and go park it at Walmart till tomorrow am!!!! It was a 2 hr drive to drop it off!!!! Wont be using uhual again unless the dm makes this right!!! We were delayed due to the 🌪️ and storms we endured from indiana back to Montana!!! I would of took my time and earned the 89.00 they charged me for being nice!!!

Had an owner tag on. He was impatient rude and got my reservation wrong. A day later than I told him. If it had only been once.. Id not write a review. But this was the third time. Its a shame its the only out fit in great falls.

I was able to return my truck when I first moved here with ease, hassle free, but that was a year ago, and now it seems as if they may be a bit understaffed. Other than waiting for 15 minutes to speak to someone, its not a bad place.

Wow... Well my old review is gone some how. And since reading the reviews tells me this place has not changed allow me to tell you my story again. Gladly...If I could give ZERO stars or LESS I would. Three or so years ago Alex and I got quotes for renting a car dolly to pull my Soul behind our truck. Two weeks later the price more than doubled. I can understand hollidays, summer time, or weekends. But, it was neither and theres no reason for a double. We had no choice as it was the night before the move but to pay the bill. We couldnt keep our bank account as the bank we used doesnt exist in Florida (least not at the time). So, they asked for a cash deposit that we were told we could get back in Florida. So again the price went up. The person who hooked up the dolly smelled like a brewery exploded. Whiskey easily. Slurred words blah, blah, blah. When we got home and returned the dolly the location couldnt give us our exorbitant deposit back because the drunk man never put the money on the receipt. (Ok the receipt thing is on us.) But, then when they undid the dolly the clerk at the Florida location realized we were lucky the dolly and MY CAR didnt fly off on the way home. The drunken jerk didnt properly hook up the dolly.Later we called this location and they wrote us off and told us to call customer complaint line. Lucky for them we got no where with them either.So, please... Take it from me! Dont! If you do, make sure they are not drunk and make sure you check the receipt and everything else. And, it might not hurt to stop at a Uhaul on the way and double check how securely set you are.

Ive had a couple negative experiences with this location. First, they refused to rent me a car-hauler to haul a small Honda Civic with a Toyota Tacoma, which I have done before with Uhaul equipment easily. They claim that my truck cant handle the weight. I think I know what my trucks hauling capacity is, better than a Uhaul employee. Then, when I needed to rent a 26 truck to move, they confirmed my reservation, then called back to tell me the truck was actually an hour away. In a city of 60k people, there isnt a 26 truck in the whole city? Give me a break and get your ducks in a row. I have always been treated rudely by the staff here, especially the owner. Glad Im moving out of this place.

Where to start...we used it because we had 1month of free storage with our move. Unfortunately the storage unit is located some distance behind a locked small door with no way to pull right up to it. Storage here is EXPENSIVE, like almost 150 bucks monthly. No lighting in the actual storage unit so enjoy stacking and loading in the dark. To top it off, we had a rat trap in our unit. When we came to pick up our stuff later, chew marks and rodent droppings in our stuff. If looking in GF, go elsewhere.

Their motto is moving made easier, but everything about our experience was difficult and poorly managed. The service here is always extremely slow.

We reserved UBoxes days in advance of our cross country move. The day of the move, the employee (the same one who reserved the boxes for us days earlier) told us that due to understaffing we could not have our UBoxes. He said it was his managers fault. Our calls to corporate and management resulted in...almost nothing. We got a refund on the moving truck we rented. As for the stress and inconvenience, we got to enjoy that for free.

Truck was known to be broke when it was rented to me. I found out when I stepped on the gas and squeeled into traffic. I know it squeeled when returned, when driven to be parked by the location and when driven back to be given to me as it was a bad pulley and main belt, not something that just occurs instantly out of nowhere and the mechanic agreed. Returning the vehicle after driving around the block I was told the broken truck was now my problem as I had rented it and had to wait for it to be fixed by roadside service. Seriously! I was provided no help in finding a different truck so sat there in the location parking lot for 4 hours while the mechanic fixed my truck. Renter beware!

Very responsive. Even helped me to jump-start my car when the battery died. Brad was exceptionally helpful.

This store ia awful, do not go here the manager has no customer service skills whatsoever. My brother in law had his car break down saturday afternoon in glacier national park, and so he ordered a car dolly from this location, which has a 24 pick up supposedly. After a 3 hour drive, we got to the store at just before 8 pm. The door to the store was unlocked as well as as the open sign was still on, yet despite this and our showing the manager that we had an order confirmation, he refused our service and said for all he knew we were there to rob him. And on top of that, we watched him refuse to help two other customers and treach them as poorly as he did us. I hooe this guy gets fired for his complete lack of customer service. If you need uhaul equipment this is not the place to go

Dropped off a 6x12 trailer and they made it fast and easy.

They did a good job for us. Quick, convnient, equipment available and in good shape.

The employees are rude. We rented a uhaul until 630pm and they called and told us they needed it back by 6pm because they had other people waiting for the uhaul we have, and they told us to hurry up. Thats bad business when we rented it until 630. And there was an employee walking around smoking a cigarette, overall the staff was unprofessional and not a good experience. It sucks that this is the only uhaul in town.

Exactly what your expect from a uhaul store. Rent trucks. Get boxes.

I dropped off an out-of-state Uhaul truck here, and had them install a hitch on my vehicle. Both times they were friendly, helpful, and they got the job done.

Very rude bunch of people- bad mouthing customers, other dealerships, making it seem like its my fault theyre so busy and its such an inconvenience that I needed an extra day. Very unprofessional!

Needed a hitch installed on a Ranger. The old hitch was welded on and These guys made it happen even though it wasn’t an easy task. I also had to rent a pick up truck from the same location. Nothing but good things to say about the customer service and the way I was treated.

I will never rent from them. Their people are rude and disrespectful.

Service was okay. It seemed like they expected us to do the service part of customer service. If you need to move drop by here and pickup all your supplies in one spot!

Employees were not very helpful and it took a very long time to reserve, pick up and drop off. The truck I rented for 1 day was drove about 8 miles and they spent over 30 minutes inspecting it.
