Just had to run in and grab a couple of things and was able to find it quite easily. Store is organized and staff is helpful and friendly. I got into line to pay, one person was ahead of me and someone immediately came up, opened a register to process our transaction.

Ever since moving into my new house, I find myself going to my neighborhood Ace at least once a week. The staff is always especially helpful when I can’t find something or if I’m not 100% sure which product to buy. Also, the key cutter was soooo nice last time I went in! Always a good experience at this location.

The 10th Avenue location remodeled and made it worse. 2 carts cant pass each other in the lanes. Good service great people. Crowded isles.. I liked it more before the remodel.

Ace had the fine tip soldering gun I needed to do the pin point micro-soldering I need to do on cellphones, tablets, laptops and other electronics. and their staff are very knowledgeable in what they have and where it is located. you guys are awesome ace

I have not yet encountered a staff, In my over 30 (100 prob if you count my time in Bozeman) visits, that has been the least bit unhelpful or unknowledgeable.Been there with the plumbing contractor. Its not the shop youre going to go if you need exhaustive resources for any trade but it is you spot for everyday house and business needs. Ace is the helpful place.

Beyond helpful. They always go the extra mile to get what you need, whether its product or information. The plumbing section is the most comprehensive of all the hardware stores.

Every time I go to this store I am reminded of why I drive across town to go to the other ACE. Customer service is sub par at best. Cashier tonight didnt even acknowledge me until she told me my total. This store is 10 blocks away from my house. So yourself a favor, go to the Northwest store.

I generally prefer ace hardware to home depot just because I enjoy the feeling of shopping in a smaller setting and the usually better service. Not to mention the community support i show is local as opposed to big box support. But my most recent visit left me with a bad taste. Ive been around long enough to know when customer service is sincere and when customer service is a thing they pretend to give when really they are using it as a excuse to badger their customers whom they suspect may be shoplifting. I totally understand that loss prevention is a necessary part of a business and that profiling goes hand in hand with the people whom are employed as lost prevention workers. Where I get and have been increasingly getting upset is the blatant and unessecary volatility of these workers. As a native American living in Montana I have been profiled in many ways by many people. Increasingly by local stores and their loss prevention workers. My last visit was one of those times. Im so disappointed because Ave hardware has always been a pretty good place to shop for me. I find what I need and get adequate help when asked. The other day I was just plain harrassed. After you have informed a person that you do not need any help for the 5th time, and notice that you are being followed from isle to isle you get really uncomfortable and feel completely targeted. My immediate reaction is to ask myself what I have done to make them think that of me. I quickly realize that it is not me, its just my reality. I am a Native American in great falls montana and people assume that all native Americans are shoplifters in this town. I dont make that statement lightly either. I am sick of being profiled!! I got so disgusted and offended by the badgering of the employees that I left my cart in the middle of the isle and left. Its gotten to the point where these stores dont even pretend to be incognito or discreet. It is disrespectful, dehumanizing, unjust and immoral to treat people like criminals based on their looks. Pity.

Expensive. They advertise sale prices but then you have to sign up for something to get the price. Great selection of general nut, bolt, screws hardware but everything else is seriously over priced. Been in the several times but never by anything but small hardware. I often find same items, same brands elsewhere for half the price.

The associates are always helpful and more importantly, knowledgeable. Today I went for replacement blades, a planer and some other materials for a repair on a piece of furniture. They had everything I needed and didnt mind me asking for help finding a few different items.

I have a duel household. Tenth Avenue South Ace in Great Falls was the second Ace I visited today. I called them as I was parked outside Ace Hardware on the Westside. I drove there and purchased excectly what I was trying to get at the Westside Ace. My experience at the Westside Ace was very unexceptable. The employees at the checkout were more interested in their personal conversations than my question. I got angry... proceeded to exit the store when a customer service employee asked me if he could help me. We had a very short discussion..more so him trying to stress the store ad policy. I still didnt get an answer to my question! Kiddos to the genuine customer service and the excellent check out service. Thanx Tenth Avenue Ace Hardware.🤗

Great Customer service. Going through a separation, Ace hardware has become, my new one stop for all my household repairs. Learning as I go repairs. Ace is there for whatever projects I have going on and tips to make an idea or project easier along the way.

The new store is awesome, and the employees are there to help you at any level. Some people (one) think its Hounding but its, actually old fashioned customer service...probably not seen in Oregon. If someone has a problem with customer service (D.G M.) then I hope when you go into the west-end store (which used to be a huge grocery store 5 years before you got here) that no one even sees you. Then you can comment on that too.I, for one, have always enjoyed being hounded when I go into ACE.. either location... it means you can solve your problem fast.Thanks ACE.

Awesome new store, awesome employees. Very disappointed i had NO WAY to buy items and carry my child as the carts are not kid friendly. I even had to ask an employee to fill a bag of dog treats for me. If i didnt have my hands full with my daughter I would have bought a lot more as i needed a few things but i only had room in my hand for a bag of dog treats and a spare key. I guess next time i come Im gonna have to get a baby sitter? Or just go to home depot. Just some food for thought.
