We were looking for some tasty burgers, fries, and shakes, and this didn’t disappoint! Lots of sauce options. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated immediately for dinner as a walk-in on a weekday evening around 7. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly, and bathrooms very clean!As visitors from out of town, there was less mask-wearing and social distancing than we were comfortable with; however, this was characteristic of most establishments we visited in Great Falls.
Fantastic burger, (got the Winchester) amazing shoestring fries. I have heard from multiple people that the Pb&J Burger is great too, so maybe Ill try it next time. Staff was unbelievably friendly and service was quick. Love the little small diner feel.Second Visit: Sat in at the bar and the staff once again was super attentive and friendly. Tried the Lowrider burger this and it was also excellent. Still have yet to try the PB&J Burger or the speciality fries. Seeing those fries come out, definitely meals unto themselves.
Im here on vacation.. I really didnt like their food. Brought me a salad with no tomato, no cucumber no nothing!! The lettuce was that curly salad, not Roman or iceberg! I sent it back. The chicken sandwich was cooked ok, but the bun was so small and they put a ton of iceberg lettuce and a ton of raw onion, which I like both. But come on it was way to much!! The shoestring fries were over cooked. Very disappoint. Do not recommend this place!!
Recently I was at the Roadhouse diner picking up lunch for my co-workers. The hostess asked wish meal is mine. I told her none. I just pick it up. Also, told her that Ive never eaten there. Long story short. She hooked me up with an awesome burger and a ton of fries! Thank you guys. I will be back.
From NJ. One of the best burgers Ive ever had. But the patties were a bit thin so definitely go for the two patties. Fries werent anything special though.
Amazing all around, I got the Winchester and my wife built her own. From order to table had to be less than 10 mins, the server checked on us at least 4 times after we got out food she ran that dining room like a Swiss watch and so very nice and personal. We let her know it was our first time there and she let us know about where the beef comes from, the fries were fresh cut...you could tell they are all passionate about what they did. Highly recommend!
In Great Falls for the passing of a family friend, and a group of us went here on the recommendation of a local. This was likely the best burger Ive ever had in my life. The thin french fries were also quite good, but what really stood out is that the owner greeted us, asked us where we were from and was just an angel to us about our loss. I dont think Ive ever had that kind of experience at a restaurant before - and it says a lot about the hospitality and kindness of the people in this state. I wish the owner, and all the employees health and prosperity!
This place has a unique personality and friendly staff. The staff are attentive. Tables were cleaned as soon as guests left, the owner explained where they source there ingredients, my check was on my table just before my last bite. The beef, potatoes and wheat and sourced right here in Montana to ensure freshness and it shows!Thank you for an incredibly fresh and unique experience!
Small joint serving up big taste. You might get a little shocked by prices but when the food comes youll understand because burgers are huge and packed with toppings including the bacon portions. Youll be lucky to finish your heaping pile of fries after the burger too.Staff is also extremely friendly!
Absolutely one of the best burgers I have eaten if you have a appetite throw on an extra patty of local beef and it will feed the hungriest of people just wish the frys were cut larger but very good flavor and the fry sauce is amazing thank you for the service

Great burger but I think I was more impressed by the hustle by all of the girls working up front. There wasnt an empty seat in the place and between that and all of the to go orders, those girls were movein; and the whole time they couldnt have been more courteous and friendly. Good hustle, ladies!
Picked this place randomly and whoa was it an excellent choice. The server was quick and polite. The food came out less than 10 minutes later. It was delicious!!
My wife and I ate here on Saturday September 4 and it was amazing! I had the peanut butter and jelly burger and was skeptical at first but it was legit great! From the moment we sat down to when we ate was less than 5 minutes and it was fairly busy when we arrived. I would definitely go back to this diner!

My husband and I eat here almost once a week!! the service is always top notch, there are NO BETTER burgers in the state and the staff is always friendly. In the several years theyve been open, I have literally never had a bad experience or meal. Pretty amazing really!!! I had previously reviewed the Roadhouse Diner a 3/5 from an experience over a year ago. I went back today and my how the experience had changed, and for the better. I entered the restaurant at 11:25AM 04/14/21. It had a smaller (one might call cozy) seating area which was well kept and clean with a low ceiling and interesting themed wall art. I was seated promptly and brought menus. The menu was well organized, simple and to the point while being easy to navigate. Service throughout the meal was excellent. Our server was attentive and upbeat from start to finish. We ordered two sodas, a winchester burger w/fries, and a thai-ger burger w/ fries. We also had two dipping sauces, fry sauce and Chipotle mayo. I ordered my Winchester burger medium, hold the onions and my wife ordered her Thai-ger burger medium rare. Drink and food were brought out in a flash. We each recieved a large portion of shoe string fries. They were salted appropriately but were somewhat inconsistent in shape with some being very crispy, some not as much. The dipping sauces were a hit. I enjoyed the fry sauce and a hit of Chipotle mayo now and then as well. Now on to the main event, the burgers. My Winchester was full of flavor. The bun was fresh and full, the bacon was thick and crispy, and the patty was juicy, tender and well seasoned. The crossroads sauce complimented the flavors well and the cheddar cheese was melted and added just the right amount of sharpness. My burger patty was cooked more on the well side rather than medium but that didnt stop me from enjoying it. The only criticism I had was the grease, there was quite a lot of it which turned the lower bun into a sponge. My wifes burger was a similar story. Hers also came out more on the well side of medium and was a bit greasy but overall the flavor and quality of ingredients won out. Having paid for our meal at 11:55 AM we recieved a couple of complimentary stickers that Im sure my 4 year old son will enjoy and a wave good by from the staff. Overall a vast improvement from our last visit. Im sure Ill be back for more in the future. I highly recommend 👌
The food here is delicious! Our waitress was so fun, outgoing and took very good care of our group. Our food came out so quickly. Over all experience here? I wish I could give it higher than a 5 star because it was incredible all around!
Amazing service, so friendly! If it sounds weird, try it anyways! Best burger I have ever had, peanut butter and jelly with bacon and cheese. Would give more stars, 5 doesn’t do this place justice. Definitely will be back.
I wish I remembered to take a photo! The fries are killer!!!! I had the Winchester and it was so good, loads of bacon, onions and the cheese was melting down the sides of the burger. The service was second to none. My drink was always full and cold. Such a cool little place to eat.
Excellent burger. Fries were fresh cut and very thin. Could not eat the whole plate because it was so big. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good burger.
We stopped here on a road trip after looking at the reviews on Google and so glad we did! This place was absolutely amazing! The burgers were amazing and the fries are grown locally in Montana and you could tell they were fresh! If Im ever driving back through the area, Ill definitely be stopping here again!
Had to return from Calgary to Great Falls to return our 1 way rental. Decided to stop in for lunch before heading back to YYC. My wife found this place listed as the #1 option on TripAdvisor. Thought wed check it out. Glad we did. We were greeted and seated immediately. Very friendly reception as soon as we walked in. The place was busy, as it was about 1230 Saturday afternoon. We had Tara who explained their burgers and fries and took our order. Tara was a breath of fresh air! Talk about positive attitude and friendly demeanor. She was awesome. We were very curious about the grass fed, sprout finished beef they used from a local farm. The burgers DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Everything about the burgers were original, the bun, which they make in-house, the sauce and of course the beef. Very different from all the burgers weve had in the past. Would highly recommend! Check this place out!

Had a great experience here. Very unique flavor. Was looking for a good burger joint while in great falls. This was not what I expected..... the food menu was interesting and the flavor profiles were on point. Service kinda had that old western feel I mean they served the food on shiny metal trays. I got the pb and j burger for my kids... not gonna lie Im glad I didnt get that for me as totally not up my alley... but what I did order for me was amazing. Not a fan of their fries though.... they serve shoestring fries that are pretty crispy and hardly any flavor. But everything else was on point. Next time I goto great falls this will be a definite stop.
We got the Winchester and the vegetarian burger. The Winchester was 10/10, but I thought the vegetarian burger was too spicy. I didnt get to enjoy the other flavors in the burger because the spiciness was so overwhelming. I really liked the fries, though, and I would highly recommend the spiked ranch. The serving staff was the best Ive ever seen. They let us keep a pen as a souvenir.
Good food. Good service....outrageous prices. Be ready for a 20 dollar burger and drink. Worth it if you are prepared to spend it.
TripAdvisor said that this was the #1 restaurant in Great Falls! The desk clerk at our hotel got excited, asked if we were fans of Supernatural (TV show), because they have a Winchester burger which we both ordered. They grind their own hamburger, bake their own bread, cut their own (quite thin) fries, and make their own sauces. I was surprised that my favorite was their ranch … normally, I think that ranch is boring.I liked that they had parking and were able to seat us immediately, despite being relatively full. Our waitress said that she’d just moved to Great Falls, partially because of the Roadhouse Diner. The only bummer thing is that they’re closed Sunday through Tuesday. Thank goodness we’re here on a Wednesday! Nice staff, great food, and fast service.
Amazing food! The burger was made with grass fed Montana beef, and you could really taste the difference. The fries were shoestrings and were crispy and delicious. They even had fry sauce to go with it to please all the Utahns. I hope to come back here and try a different type of fries. The other options looked delicious.

Best burger in Montana. Local grass-fed, grass sprout finished beef from McCafferty Ranch in Belt. Buns made in house. Fries fried twice from local potatoes. Love heat in your meal? Tara & Jason can deliver! If you are meat-free there is a black bean burger made in house. Amazing flavors, fabulous sauces, a selection of teas blended especially for Tara. Try Taras Rx. It will heal you. My favorite burger is the Death By Bacon. You will not be disappointed! BACON AND MORE BACON!!! 🥓 🥓 🥓 🥓The atmosphere is something one must experience. This place is amazing! I found this place by googling restaurants in Great Falls, as I was passing through to head back home to Missouri from Glacier National Park. I got the Lowrider burger and it was the best burger I have had in a very long time. The Elvis fries are a must have as well! I wish I could remember the name of our server to shout her out, but all of the staff there are amazing. Great service, great food! Thank you all!
I really enjoy the staff and all the food here although I do feel like some items are a bit inflated. Such as 3 dollars for a soda. And there is no kids menu options like a lower priced, smaller meal and soda. Its always been a great place for me to grab a burger for myself but the menu and prices are not very family oriented. I will for sure eat here again but I would love to see minor changes mainly in the kid area!

Great spot for burgers with mates, great value, and quality. Patties are a little on the salty side, and I wish there were more greens on the burger, but it’s still a great spot. The staffs were friendly and accommodating. The fries were really good and this place gets packed really fast the moment the doors are opened!
Good food and atmosphere. A recommendation to management would be to ensure potatoes are washed thoroughly. Not a fan of biting into a grain of sand from the skin.

This is my husbands favorite place in town. I have to say that I get irritated that the specialty burgers cant be specialized at all. ( I wanted the special with no jalapeños and they wouldnt hold that item because it was a special) I do love the unique creations of the specialty burgers and I get them anyway. I like the fries but the side salad option is a little sad. The last issue I have is that there are limited options for kid meals and they cost almost the same as an adult meal. The place is small so we like to eat here before meal rushes. They have fast and friendly service.
Ive been here a few times now they have amazing food. However, the part that shocks me it quality loose leaf tea they serve. I didnt believe my friends when they told me how wonderful this place is. However, they did not exaggerate at all. If you are feeling adventurous try the PB&J Burger sounds like it shouldnt work but it really does.

I loved my burger! I got the Lowrider, Id change nothing about it. I enjoyed my crispy shoestring fries and their house made sauces for 50¢ - their Fry Sauce tastes just like Chick-fil-a sauce. If I am in the area again Id get their spiced Ranch rather than regular. Seating was limited, they have like nine tables and if you come in with a group of 6+ - my guess is you will wait for awhile. No outdoor seating. I believe the prices were fair, Im from Cali and a non fresh beef burger with half the amount of fries is $15-$18.

The food is great but questionable business practices, owner is rude and unprofessional. It seems he thinks it is funny to ridicule his customers for leaving bad reviews. If you read through his responses to them its nothing but condescending comments

Please excuse my foggy words and unclear train of thought. It is because of the delicious burger that was delivered expediently to my table that my mind is improperly working. Yes, I have gorged myself on fresh local ingredients and now my brain has ceased to function. If not for the helpful friendly staff I doubt I would have found my way to the door after our meal was complete. Would endure a lacking a/c unit on a 98 degree day again for a chance to eat myself into a coma.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The dining room is a bit small but it works. The atmosphere was mostly relaxed but busy. The food was out quickly and it was fresh and hot, everything was correct and really good. Definitely going to be the place for my burger fix.

I had an amazing time at roadhouse diner your house diner theyre hamburger was so good and it was mand it was made so perfect I cannot see myself ever going back to McDonalds ever again it it was amazing the people there were so nis Claire were so nice the person that took my order was so helpful full my boss actually took me there he said you gotta try this its some of the best Burger youve ever had in your life and it really was Ive even read up on where they get their beef and that its grass fed and sprout finished which makes it amazing thank you so much roadhouse for an ambunch roadhouse for an amazing dinner
This place is a must if you are in Great Falls, MT!!! The service is top notch, the burgers are mouth wateringly delicious, they have a rotating special burger thats always creative and interesting, and the service is fast. I cant say enough good things. One of the best burgers in all of burger experiences, and Ive had a few. If youre looking for a challenge try The Widowmaker, its one hell of a spicy burger!
My husband and I had lunch at Roadhouse Diner while driving through town and we were really impressed! The staff was super friendly and very inviting. Food came out fast and was fresh and delicious! I had the Single Roady with Club Fries while my husband had the Winchester with plain fries. Both were AMAZING! Cooked perfectly! Fresh buns. We got a strawberry shake to go and the cheesecake. Definitely will be back when in town again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Its ok..norm burger..really..fun had to ask for sauces I ordered to come with my meal. Menu a little unclear. First most spicy fry sauce I ever tasted..unless it was the spice in the crazy sauce on the Winchester burger I ordered..cant be sure. Open 4 days a week only..very busy. Small dining area

Everything is purchased locally always fresh never frozen. The reviews are correct. Great local, fresh ground burgers and fries with cheese. Really nice place with quick friendly service, too. I was served by the owner at the bar: she obviously loves her customers and what she does. Very refreshing.Dont forget to save a little room for homemade pies...theyre terrific.

During a work trip, i wanted to try something new and this diner looked promising. An interesting menu, i ordered the PBJ burger and great choice. Never did i think it would taste this good. The staff was very friendly, the staff (probably the owner) gave us a stickers with their logo on it as a remembrance gift. Now 3 years later, i think of Great Falls MT and i think of the Roadhouse Diner. :)
