Thank you Chris!!! I called these guys about a head unit and back up camera that I had tried installing myself on a 2004 Sienna. Needless to say I made a complete mess out of the job. I took my disaster to Chris the same day I called, and he was able to fix it within 1.5 hours. These guys are great!
I feel like the experience should have been better than it was. When i Scheduled an appointment To replace a blown 6×9 that was under warranty. in the rear deck aswell as install a ground wire. and tune the stereo aswell as test some speakers. They didnt bother to look at my car and see what it was going to take to complete the job. The back seat NEEDS removed so the speaker can be replaced and i had 3 amplifiers mounted on the seat. So i removed them and left all the wireing in tact and unbolted the seat aswell as removed the plastic around the seat. All they had to do is lift the seat and lift the deck lid no tools needed. So i wanted them to replace the speaker and reassemble every thing that had been taken apart but they only put it back a quarter of the way.they didnt test the speakers they didnt tune any thing because they didnt put anything back that was disassembled prior to the work they did although it was going to be taken apart anyway becauseThe speaker cant be replaced otherwise. So i did more than half of the job before i even brought the car in and then they did a quarter of the job they were hired for then charged me full price when in realitythey they only did 25% of the job they were hired for and the part they did do needs to be redone.so it can be properly reassembled.i told him i wanted every thing that comes with MY speaker even if they dont fit in the location.meaning speaker grill papper work and anything else that belongs to ME.But nope cant get that or a proper receipt showing purchase of the product which has a lifetime warranty. That now I cannot warranty on my own because I dont have the information required by the manufacturer.Tunez 4 u why should i be at a loss and set back by redoing the job i paid you for?You failed at examining the vehicle, and you didnt research information about the job with the model year and make i provided, plus you kept my things i told you i wanted, then you poorly reassembled my car after i did everything i could do, making the process easier and saving you time and effort.Im glad that you atleast said something to me before needlessly pulling my trunk apart because it would have just end up another job of yours Id need to complete.Tunez for u you should have warrantied my speaker and sent on my way in stead of charging me for something that i now need to do over again. The short Cummings made by a business should not be reflected upon a customer rather they should be absorbed by the business and processed into knowledge that influences improvement resulting in future business gains.
Did a good job and showed integrity relative to the charges.
Tunez is the best audio store, friends not customers, always cool and understanding. Number 1
Had a wiring problem a couple weeks after my install. I swung by with no appointment or phone call ahead of time. Chris looked and fixed the problem no questions asked right away and got me back out rocking out in no time at all!!! Thank you guys at tunes 4 you for your quality work and great customer service!!! 🤘a satisfied and forever long term customer Jesse James!!!
They did a great job putting my LED strip on and a fair price
I went to this place because my boy worked there, spent a total of $1300 which $900 was jus labor on a 2 day job where my boy Shawn was the primary installer. 2 guys would have been faster, my boy does builds for bass competitions and the other guy and owner seemed like ex Pep Boys worker who do not fabricate anything they just buy parts and install. I got a DSR1 to use my factory deck with a 2K mono, 90.4 and a DC Audio Lvl 3 Sub. The DSR1 was not given a proper update for my vehicle which made the part useless and the system ran horrible so thanks for that! Thankfully I have friends in the industry that are redoing the whole system for a fraction of what this place charged. This place overcharges compared to other shops at $450-$900. After getting screwed and seeing other employees just kickin rocks while one is working they should have jumped in and worked harder. I also brought all the equipment I needed to be installed except for the DSR1 that they got, I do not recommend this shop to anyone!
Worth every dollar. Great quality.
Great customer service. Thank you
I took them my boat to have a tower and speakers installed. Chris the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable on what would fit my needs. Then since the did such a great job I had them wire color shift lighting on a 2016 Hellcat. Great group of guys and very fair on there pricing
I have no idea what Bryce is talking about. These folks have stayed open late for me when Ive been stuck at work to make sure my vehicle was serviced. Nothing but the best customer service. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone.
Courteous, My CD player gave out...I can not b without my tunes .So am having a Jvc CD player installed as I sit was told done within 45 to n hour my wait has been about 15 so far they were good enough to install it on a whim. ..Probly b better if u gave them notice w an appointment. .so far so good !!!
NEVER GO HERE!!!!!! This is by the far the worst car audio business I have ever been too. I took in my car to them about a month ago. At first, everything seemed fine, but after I drove it for one day and listened to my brand new 6 by 9s and 10 woofer, they both stopped working. The whole system was basically wired by an idiot. The sound would shift from left to right speaker and then front to rear and then eventually just turned into fuzzy static feedback. When I called them back they said they would take a look at it but it would cost another 100 to inspect. What a Joke! These guys are low life scammers trying to make it in a small town where they are the only guys available. Do yourself a favor and go to auburn or sacramento and get your car worked on by real professionals, not these amateurs. The owner is the absolute worst.
Excellent service, great results. Prices are competitive.Save the gas money, drive time and impersonal service in Sac and shop local.
I used them multiple times. Normally no issues. The last time, there was no follow through and no follow up on issues encountered.
Awesome staff.. prices are more then fair. Very knowledgeable in all phases of car streo. Def A+++++++++....
Friendly helpful staff. Choose to install on my own, I did it but would choose to pay next time.
Ive had mulitple a very unprofessional vists here. Would not recommend this store to anybody.
One thing I will say is that they do have a friendly staff when you are shopping for equipment/or making an appointment. When it comes to their installation work and prices on theyre equipment in stock or online I would rather go down towards the Sac area. They have a very limited selection of Goodies at there shop. I have seen cheaper prices from competitors down in Roseville. Tunes 4 U is the only car audio shop around the area. It explains the extra cost. If you do purchase your next audio system from them. I would advise you not to have them do the installation. When they did the installation on my vehicle I asked for new wiring and lower Gauge wire, which was included in the bill. They never did the re-wiring. I noticed the wiring tonight when I had to pull out my Kenwood Flip screen deck because it stop working and I was trouble shooting it. Tomorrow Im going to check out the speakers to reinsure they are what I paid for. All in all I purchased 2 Memphis mcx42 and two Memphis mcx62 speakers, also kenwood KVT-7012BT flip up screen DVD player. Sirius radio WITH free install and phone microphone that hooks up to stereo. They charge me over 1400 for everything, also to install just the Kenwood and 4 speakers. Started to have a bad feeling bout everything so I looked up the prices of equipment. I, myself could have bought everything for 950. Benefit of the doubt on their end includes shipping and I also went with the average price between the highest and lowest I seen online for each item. They as in Tunez 4 U might/probably have price deals from distributors or wholesale warehouses as well. They charged me just shy of 500 for the install of 4 speakers, that they did NOT run new wire for. Of which I asked and paid for, also install of the Kenwood screen. When I arrived to pick my vehicle up and did a little observation as he introduce me to my new toys briefly. I asked if he could Sync my phone, which you could tell he hesitated about. Then It seemed like he had other places to be. Instead of helping me figuring out my new system and giving me a proper walk through of my new purchase. After I spent a nice chunk of change i was a bit disappointed of the business and quality of work. His attitude and friendly service sure declined/got sour after payment and transaction was made.He tried to give me a quick tutorial of my new equipment at the same time passing me a stack of all my paper work. Which wasnt protected from the elements nor in order, warrantees and receipts scattered through the pile . No folder, binder, extra leftover box, not even a bag. Just pile of Manuals, warranties, booklets, receipts, etc. rush, rush, rush, rush, rush, rush. Then I had to ask again if he could please sync my phone because I thought he was a bit more educated on topic, plus I felt like I deserved it after all the money I spent 1400 smackers lol. He decided to do it after a huff and a puff lol. Could tell he struggled a bit, little confused how to sync but he probably did it faster than I. Could tell he wasnt to happy bout finish the job 100%. Good luck to all, just sharing my experience at Tunez 4 U, Grassvalley/Nevada city area. Its detailed but thats how you know the experience was true.
They did a total hack job installing 4 speakers and a kenwood stereo in my car. I will never go back. Left my electronic mirror disconnected and broke every clip in my doors and did such a cheap job with goop putting them back together they were barely hanging on. Had my mechanic fix it and even he was amazed at the total hack job they did. Stay away from this place
Helped me in a pinch, would highly recommend.
I had a stereo installed by them. They were excellent.
Rude, snarky staff. Did I mention rude? My first rude experience was when I called and asked if they would install a remote start equipped alarm system designed specifically for manual transmissions. The person I spoke to simply said no. When I asked why, he said Because I wont. And hung up on me.The second time I was forced to work with them, as a body shop damaged my motorized screen during some repairs. They said they would pay for it to be fixed if tunez4u did the repair/shipping to the manufacture. When it came back and the guy installed it, he didnt hook up my sub RCAs. I went back in and told him, and he asked me if I was sure I have subs. I told him the RCAs are running up the left side, feel free to check in the trunk to see if I have subs. He came back and said he saw the subs but couldnt find the RCAs. I reached right under the dash and pulled them out.A month later the deck did the same thing.and they sent it back again. When it came back fixed, they refused to put it in unless I paid them the full price for installation, which is ridiculous since they didnt have to.splice any wires... just slide it in and plug in the harness they unplugged when they pulled it out.
Chris is awesome knows what he is doing
They are great at tracking down auto electrical problems.
These guys are legit
