Helpful and very knowledgeable! I took my car in for what I assumed was and electrical malfunction with my break lights. They took it back for diagnosis and found instead of all my break lights malfunctioning only one needed to be replaced. All my lights were fixed and they shared valuable information and explained what had needed to happen. They generously did not charge me for the diagnosis. Thank you Plaza!

On a lunch hour I need to get my wifes tire repair. It was all last minute and knowing she had a big bolt in that tire I was not sure how long it would take. I simply drove up without calling them. It took them literally 20 minutes in and out! I know that sometimes they are busy and I have waited in the past but although this was not a busy time for them, they know how to take care of their customers with just as much speed. I had originally taken my car to Les Schwab and they told me it would be a 2 and a half hour wait. So I brought my car to Plaza instead and they got my car in right away. I was in a out in about 35 minutes. Gentleman who helped me was very nice and friendly. Would definitely come back here.

Asked to have my flat checked for a nail. They didnt even look at the correct tire now the driver front has a spare on it and i still have a flat tire on the passenger side. They refused to check the tire that keeps going flat.

The folks at Plaza Tire and Auto Service are just genuinely nice people. The staff is very knowledgeable, and you always feel like theyre being 100% honest with you. Their prices compete with the big corporate tire centers (in fact, they were substantially cheaper to have my new Tacoma wheels installed than Americas Tire Co in Auburn). We should always try to shop local, even if it means spending a few more bucks. But Plaza Tire actually saves you money as you patronize a local family business. Its a win-win!

Friendly professional and affordable service done right! They really know their cars and take care of customers in a very nice way and professional as well. They do their work very fast everything is set by appointment they do not overcharge and seemed to be doing honest work for honest people which is mostly with people look for nowadays in auto shop.

Great and fast service for a popped tire needing to be replaced, however felt scammed into purchasing a more expensive tire due to being somewhat “illiterate” when it comes to talking about tires. In my opinion anyone who takes advantage of a mother who desperately needs to feed her children with her money and asks “is this the cheapest tire available?” And the person answers back “yes of the 6 star blah blah blah” is exploiting others ignorance for their own capitol gain.

These guys rotated my tires at a moments notice and changed my oil even though theyd have to stay a little late. Very affordable.I also ran into an old timer who has been coming here for 30 years- always a solid sign of good local service

These guys arent honest mechanics. They failed to tighten my battery, and my car didnt start at its next destination, luckily it was a Napa . Their charge was inflated, I questioned it, and they easily took off an hour labor. Their ethics are in question, so why dont they do the right job if our lives are trusted in their hands?

I went in today with an odd size tractor tire needing an inner tube. The folks at Plaza Tire were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The service was quick and the price very reasonable. I will definitely go back the next time I need any tires.

They are okay, nice enough but we prefer the Nevada City location. I got tires from the Grass Valley location last Spring. With in a week I was missing 2 of my hub caps and they are $50 a peice! Yesterday, my husband got 4 new tires from them and we woke up to one of the back tires completely flat with the air cap missing. Although I know they are closed on Sunday, I tried to call to leave them a message and they do not have an answering machine. The phone just rings, beeps and hangs up. My husband is upset because now instead of going to work tomorrow he has to get up and deal with this problem. I do not usually leave these sorts of reviews but being a business owner I do like to know when my clients are unhappy. Plaza tire has been around this area for a long time now and the owners should know that this location is not living up to the standards of the brand theyve built. We will see how they handle this situation tomorrow. It just may be it for us and this location. UPDATE: My husband was able to get the tire fixed on his own so he could get to work on Monday. Turns out the valve stem was not tightened. Ugg! I called Plaza on Monday morning to inform them of our experince and the gentleman was really nice about it. I will give them an extra star for customer service.

Poor information and bad attitude!! Was told a ding in my wheel was unrepairable on a Range Rover..was told 2 1/2 weeks to get in a new one..was quoted a very high price 325$+. None of it was true..wheel fixed next day by Qwicksilver in Sacramento as per Range rovers recommendation..135$..quit trying to extort folk!!

Total crooks. Ignition lock cylinder magically broke while they had the vehicle. Quoted my girlfriends mother 160 to replace a $20 part that takes about 10 minutes to install. Sent her on her way after they pulled the cylinder and started the vehicle with a screwdriver. Really great work guys .

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change.They had it on the wrong day. They told me there was no way to get it done today.Went to see Edgar at Fisar Auto instead.Took car in on short notice even though he was extremely busy.Don’t waste your time with Plaza tire

This place charges entirely too much for labor. Had a window regulator replaced that cost over $425. charged me a diagnostic fee plus the cost of replacing the regulator . Avoid this place. There are other places in Grass Valley and Nevada City that do a better job at a better price.

Took my Toyota Truck into Plaza yesterday. Although the radiator was shot and had to be repaired, I experienced the best customer service yet in Grass Valley including a ride to work. Thanks for helping make the best of the situation.

They refuse to do test drives (I dont know how you diagnose things without that, but luckily the manager was there to passive aggressively answer that it wouldnt matter). Would not call to update me on matters I asked to be updated on before going forward. Staff was rude and uninformed.I go to local places like this for customer service and help. Save your money and go get screwed for less at the big boxes.

Just bought tires from them and then they wanted to charge me $20 to patch my tire when its leaking air. Total bs, Im going to les schwab for a $14 patch I stead
