I would not recommend bringing your car to rex for oil change and tire rotation. I let Rex know I needed both services and got only oil changes. My tires are high quality Goodyear Wrangler. They should have lasted 50,000 miles but one tire was totally worn out at 30,000. I contacted Rex who said he assumed that my tires were being rotated elsewhere. However, i specifically asked for both oil change and tire rotation. I told him I needed both services. Rex is a talented mechanic so I will keep him major repairs. Perhaps he is getting so busy he is making assumptions instead of checking in with the customer. Given my annual mileage I was expecting my tires to last another 2 years. I felt like I had very little traction after the last snowstorm so I checked the tires. Otherwise I had no reason to check, believing he was rotating them every oil change. I could have had a tire blow out which caused an accident.
