Great customer service from everyone I came in contact with and I even had several thank you’s for being a Retired Navy Veteran. Will be bringing my wife back to get her a vehicle soon. I like my sales who introduced the car to me, and I decided to buy it in the end. He is Sean Sexton. He is super professional, responsible, and friendly. He answered all my concerns and questions. It was perfect to work with him. Highly recommend him to be anyone’s advisor!!However, Im not quite certified. The financial person who serviced me was John. He keeps claiming that my check is a cashiers check, but it is(i double-check with Chase and Discover). I decided to pay by cash, but it seems like they dont like the way I chose. So I have to wait to spend my money...Also, I decided to use financial at first, and they do the hard pull twice...I need to take 2 stars off because of JohnBut Sean is worth 100 stars!!!! I will definitely come back again because of him! I think he is also an infinite certified sales too!
Just a great overall experience. Everyone was happy, smiling and welcoming. A positive atmosphere without “the crazy” like some dealerships are. Didn’t feel pressured at all. I just recently leased a car through Grubbs Volvo and worked with Jalea Davis and she was amazing. 10 out of 10 recommend. She reached out to me after requesting information, and she was never pushy at all - she answered all of my questions, was super informative and helpful, and really worked hard to get to the numbers I needed (which she did!). It was the fastest and easiest car shopping experience I’ve ever had. We did it all remote / over the phone, she never forgot about me - constantly kept sending updates as needed, and made the entire experience so easy. Cannot recommend her enough. Wes, the sales manager, was also great at meeting my numbers and Mandy was great in finance. Totally painless experience.
The service advisor David Mullins was absolutely outstanding. He got me in on a busy Saturday without an appointment to give my car a badly needed realignment for my 2018 S60. He set great expectations that I would get my car back either today or Monday and the rest of the service team delivered by having my car fixed and ready in a few hours. The price was also great, other Volvo dealerships I checked were charging about $180 plus tax for a re alignment.This is the first time I had my Volvo serviced since I got the car in March but by far the BEST experience Ive had working with a service advisor Ive ever had. I will definitely be looking to have my cars future service needs done at Grubbs Volvo in the future based on this experience.

David Mullins in the service group is great. I came in without an appointment for a lug nut issue. David not only helped me get a new lug nut quickly, but also filled my tires to the proper air pressure and reset the tire pressure system without me even asking. It was a great experience.

As a proud first time Volvo owner, I took my 2021 XC60 T8 for the first oil change and also to repair a damage rim. The loaner car that was supposed to be available when the appointment was made wasnt available. After they had my car for 9 days, I called to check on the status and was told itd be ready at the end of the day. My request for a pick was never followed through. I managed to get a ride there, brought my car home only to realize the damaged rim wasnt repaired, and the wheels were never rotated.I called and left a message for the service manager on the receipt, that youre supposed to contact of there are issues. Its almost a week, and they dont bother calling back.Ive owned plenty of new Toyotas, Hondas, and BMWs and Ive never had a service experience like this one. Im not so upset about the 9 days oil change, as much as I am about the work that was supposed to be done that was never performed, and even more frustrating that management doesnt care to follow-up on a communication.
The sales and management team at Grubbs Volvo in Grapevine made me and my families experience very smoothly. The team was courteous, experienced, forthcoming and professional. I didn’t feel like I was even buying a car, but rather hanging with friends.
Went to Grubbs to look at a used Volvo that was posted on the website. We were greeted by Mo and showed him what we saw online. He look us inside to see if he could locate the vehicle and said he couldnt find it and it must have sold. I was only interested in this specific car and the price point it was in so when he said it was sold we started to leave. When we got outside the vehicle happen to pull up after being cleaned, I asked him if this was the car and he said yes. It hadnt been sold so we took it for a test drive. We were very honest and forward about our budget because I had saved enough money to pay cash for this vehicle. He told me that the price had gone up because services were done after it was posted..He spoke with his boss and then began the dreadful negotiations. Again, this is not my first buying experience.. I get how this works and I reminded him we wanted to pay cash and were not going to budge on our budget. The price was listed for a certain price and they should honor it. He then explained that if we paid cash he wouldnt get as high of a commission and asked if we could just finance the vehicle he would make sure we had a low rate and either way we could pay cash to pay it off before interest hit. My husband knew how much I wanted the car and kept negotiating with him although I wanted to leave. I let them do all of the talking and finally my husband agreed to a price. While in financing to get the loan so we could lock in the price he decided to purchase all extended warranties on the vehicle and tires because it was used. After he left from buying the vehicle we received calls and emails from Grubbs that they didnt get all of the information they needed for our income to get the loan - keep in mind we already had the car! They called multiple times asking for bank statements and job verification paperwork which is probably something that should have been secured before we even drove off of the lot. Everything we dealt with was unorganized and unprofessional.Fast forward to a month after owning the vehicle, I get a nail in my tire. I take it to the service center and explained. I was flying out of town and needed to be shuttled to the airport, since the driver was waiting for me the technician told me not to worry, they do a 5 point inspection and would check all tires and get the nail out. I fly in and go to get my vehicle 2 days later. The woman at the front asked me to sign paperwork for services done. I asked her if they patched the tire or replaced it and she reads the notes and says, oh it looks like there was no nail in them. We went ahead and aired up all of your tires for you. I explained to her there was a nail and asked to speak to a technician. They brought my car out and I look at the rear tire that has a huge nail in it and he was so embarrassed. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the technicians who fixed the problem were so nice and even emailed me a Starbucks gift card to say sorry.However, this is luxury vehicle. I am a big believer in having vehicles serviced from the dealership because I feel like they know the vehicle best. I owned a Hyundai for years and only took it to the dealership to get serviced. They had the BEST customer service. Every time I got my vehicle back it was vacuumed, washed and serviced like the technicians gave a.. you know :) my Volvo paperwork says it was washed but it definitely wasnt. I would never buy a car from them again and I would never refer anyone to them. I am so upset that my husband prepaid thousands of dollars to have my car serviced there for the next 5 years. At this point, I have no trust in this dealership. If they couldnt even complete a 5 point inspection, how can I have faith that they will catch major issues?! This is not what customer service looks like especially when you spend $50,000 at their business.Take your business elsewhere and if a manager wanted to contact us... a refund for the 5 years of services we prepaid for would be nice because I dont want to go back there if I dont have to. -Steeves

Found a car I had been looking for and reached out online since I was out of state. The price was just over $3,000 above typical KBB for the area, but it was a car I wanted and I was hoping to negotiate a reasonable price. After a few emails I was told they would not lower they price and then was sent a price breakdown which, among many things, added another $1,795 Dealer Prep Fee.When I asked why it wasnt included in the advertised price I was told Here at GRUBBS we do this process before the sale and I am required to give you a walk around of the dealership, we dont include it in the price because than you wouldnt know of the process we go through here . As if I need to pay almost $2,000 for a tour to buy a car.Im very disappointed that they dont try to negotiate at all on unreasonable prices, and then try to tack on an obscene hidden fee for the purchase. I will not do business with them.
I went in knowing what car I intended to buy, and Thomas made that experience very pleasant. I didn’t experience the usual “pushy salesman” trope that I have from other dealers. Definitely recommend everyone involved.

He went beyond my expectations! Wing thoroughly explained each step of what was to be done to my car, constantly checked on me as I waited for a loaner car, texted me several times during the day to update me on the progress of the work being done to my car, met me when I returned to the dealership, made sure the climate inside my car was cool before I left, and gave me helpful instructions to enhance the driving performance of my Volvo. He is definitely a valuable asset to your dealership! I am a very satisfied customer!

I felt I was treated fairly price wise but the car had 3K miles and needed rotors replaced which I noticed during the test drive. They promised to correct this and they did while I had to wait till closing for this repair. I was about to leave with the car and noticed the tow hole cover was missing but was promised they would get one painted to match my car and ship it to me. That was a month ago and I still dont have it. Ive reached out to my sales person several times and he keeps telling me this is being done. Im really disappointed and Im hoping this isnt a sample of what the future service will be like.
Great service! My appointment was at 8am. Was able to get right in and leave with a loaner in 15 minutes. Turns out my vehicle was ready by 2pm!

Had to have to recall work done on my 2012 Volvo sedan. The dealership wasnt making much of anything from my visit, yet they still washed and vacuumed out my car when the work was done. Plus, no high pressure upsell for other services. Really liked the vibe at Grubbs Volvo.

Unbelievably sad service, from a dealership we have bought 2 cars from. Looking to get a third, and the salesmen, got me to come in, without communicating directly with me. After I was in, and they realized, there had a been a mis understanding on the down payment amount, no craps were given by the GM on duty. It was sad, hope to never go back here again, until. have to return our lease. I get the car demand has gone up, but treating customers fairly should not change.

I didnt appreciate the service advisor trying to upsell me on a vehicle that is a lease/ Rental via Care by Volvo that supposed to have everything covered. But other than that the service from beginning to end what is top notch everybody interacted with was friendly, courteous and professional. I do really appreciate the level of care and customer relations that was extend it to me via Volvo versus being a previous Infiniti owner.

I visited Grubbs Infinity today. We had some service on our Volvo, both brands are being handled by their Infinity dealership. I was astounded. The place was modern, well appointed, beyond clean, the service employees were extremely nice, professional, courteous and took care of us in a very timely manner. It was the best automobile dealership experience I have had in many years.
I recently got a new car at Grubbs Volvo snd worked with Jalea in Sales. Overall great experience. She listened to exactly what I wanted. I really wanted a specific color for exterior and interior. Although her management was trying so hard to get me to get a different interior, she helped me get what I exactly wanted. Very pleased with my experience with her. This is the reason for the 5.However, the process was painful and my car is low windshield wiper fluid which is crazy when they were supposed to have done a full check up and topping off all fluids before I got the vehicle. When you’re getting a luxury vehicle and spending as much as you do, the least done is making sure all fluids were topped off. I would them a 2 for that.

Purchased two vehicles in December and we are still waiting for registration and license plates four months later. One of the vehicles is fully paid. Contact by phone is a nightmare as they never return calls, and if you are lucky to get someone alive they have no knowledge of who is responsible. Contact by email gets you an answer with zero results as the email gets forward to someone else. We are 600 miles from this dealership!
Made an appointment to drive a Certified S90. Twas advertised as certified, and the sticker said certified. Drove it, liked it, then we were told it wasnt really certified - it would be $3400 more for activation. Wife and I had a great laugh - used car sales tricks are still the same. No thanks Mo! In this time of online auto purchasing to have someone try this is really hard to understand. Good luck with your false advertising! Wasted our time...
I’ve never enjoyed the car shopping experience in the past. That being said our recent car purchase experience with Matt Peck our sales guy at Grubbs as well as David Canales in finance and his boss, Gerry I believe, was by far the best experience we could’ve asked for.From Matt’s introduction of himself to me in 100+ degree weather while I stayed in my car and Matt stood outside in the blistering heat. I bought a bmw 340i from these guys. I buy cars from all over and these guys are by far the worst. Never return my calls. The car was told to be in great condition. Shows up with a chip in the side window, windshield wiper cover dry rotted, sunroof handle discolored and the rear view mirror hanging. Oh and the tires all missed matched. Now I have to buy a entire new windshield because you can’t just reattach the mirror. They new this. No way they did not. It has been over 3 weeks and still have not received my paperwork for buying this car. The salesman jarred is not the guy you want buy a car from. They just want to play games over and over. If you’re buying a car from out of state and having it delivered to ya. I do not recommend these guys
Horrible service was trying to buy a truck from them was just trying to get a buyers order to be able to get it to my bank to purchase it. After waiting all day for a buyers order they tell me the truck sold but then called me back that night to tell me it’s not sold and I could put a deposit on it so I said sounds good. Then they call me back 5 minutes later saying they aren’t gonna accept deposits for that truck after they just told me they would. My bank was gonna wire the money first thing in the morning was told they would call me back but they didn’t got an email after 1 pm the next day saying it sold last night. Definitely dont recommend them for a used car.

Please read this review before buying a used car from Grubbs Volvo, we bought xc90 after 2 months had check engine lights multiple times they claimed to fix and having to take it back and forth time said needed an new motor so and we bought the warranty which was told by their finance guy that it would cover it and they said it might cover it its up to the 3rd party who does there extended warranty, 2 weeks later they got one through factory warranty. Had a check engine light come today and they said they could get it in to get looked at in a month, I said I purchased the extended warranty and they said still be a month before they can look, I asked what the point of the warranty was and request to speak to a Manager and guess what no one was in and still waiting on a call back. DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTYS ITS A SCAM they may not cover repairs and clearly do not have enough mechanics to fix your vehicle or loners to give. Disappointed with the lies of their entire sales team. There is more but this is main issue.
I recently purchased a 2021 Volvo from Grubbs Volvo. I am over 60 and have purchased several Cars over the years and the buying experience at Grubbs Volvo was the best I have ever experienced. All of the Grubs Personnel I dealt with during my transaction from the Salesman to the Technical Specialist at Delivery were knowledgeable, Professional, and Customer oriented. The Grubbs Team is just as interested in making a long term Customer (Service and future Purchases) as the current Sale. Having confidence that you be treated as value customer after the initial purchase is very reassuring.
Customer care is joke here. The phone number provided by them or in the website will never work. Purchased vehicle in December 2020 and still waiting for license plate and nobody respond on phone or through email. The only way is to go there directly and still they dont have any information. Most pathetic customer care ever dealt with.

And to top it off--I just received a call from Grubbs Volvo--theyve told me they are unable to register the vehicle for license plates because the inspection is expired. Yes--they sold me a certified pre-owned vehicle with expired inspection. Unbelievable level of incompetence.********DL;DR:Six weeks ago, I bought a certified pre-owned, 2020 Volvo XC90 with 12k miles on it. The vehicle has already been to a Volvo Service center three separate time for repairs. This has cost me hundreds of dollars in rental car fees, time, frustration, and frankly disgust. AVOID GRUBBS VOLVO AT ALL COST! See below for full details:----------I purchased a CPO 2020 Volvo XC90 with 12k miles from Grubbs Volvo Grapevine six weeks ago. The vehicle was identified online, and I then travelled from Houston to purchase, after family test-drove and inspected. What follows is a description of a truly horrific buying experience that continues to worsen.1. Sales. Given my travel from Houston, I pre-scheduled an appointment days in advance with the salesperson, Daniel McCormick, and impressed upon him that I had a very tight schedule and would need to quickly complete the purchase process. I was present at opening on a Monday morning. Mr. McCormick was wholly unprepared. He first handed me paperwork for an entirely separate vehicle/purchaser, which I had to alert him to. He then had to prepare my materials, which had yet to be done.2. Financing. I next waited three hours to see financing, despite imploring Mr. McCormick that I could not do this. Once with the finance officer, Tyrone Robinson, Mr. Robinson proceeded to engage in expected high-pressure sales tactics for dealership add-ons. I accepted one such offer, which turned out to be particularly egregious. Mr. Robinson and I discussed my living in Houston, that I had flown to Dallas that morning, and he even asked me which Volvo dealer was closest to my home. He then proceeded to sell me a Service Maintenance Plan (oil change, tire rotation, filters, etc) at $1200. This seemed reasonable as I would be having the vehicle serviced anyway. However, upon presenting this to a separate Volvo dealer one week later, I was informed that this service agreement could ONLY be used at Grubbs Volvo. Given Tyrone Robinson was quite clear that I lived in Houston, and that it is unreasonable for me to have my vehicle serviced in Grapevine, his willingness to sell this agreement to me is unethical and reflects upon the business practices of Grubbs Volvo.3. Vehicle Problems. Of the 6 weeks I’ve owned this vehicle, it’s been in the shop for 3 weeks and has been nothing but trouble.* None of the electronics/software systems had software updates downloaded/installed before selling.* Within 1-week a tire went flat and had to be replaced. No nail or damage to tire was found, but tire was worn beyond what would be expected.* Next, warning lights began appearing: ‘Acceleration Performance Reduced,’ ‘Reduced Engine Performance,’ ‘Transmission Requires Servicing,’ ‘Parking Brake Unavailable,’ ‘Start/Stop Function Unavailable.’ I took it to a Volvo dealer. After five days I was told this was all due to the vehicle needing a software update, which was done. I drove 10 miles and all warnings appeared again.* Back to the dealer. A Volvo technician has now inspected the vehicle and reports significant damage to the electronics system which requires further investigation.Every point in the process with Grubbs Volvo has been a nightmare. If you’re considering purchasing a vehicle, do yourself a favor and go somewhere other than Grubbs.

I have waited over 3 hours to get my new Volvo it’s first maintenance. When I called for an appointment I was told I could wait because it wouldn’t take more than an hour or maybe an hour and half. I had to go see what was going on instead of someone giving me an update. I’m still waiting!

I took my car in for a recall repair and the service advisor, John Kindhart, sent me a list of correctives. One of which, thankfully, was covered under a warranty. Since they had my car for over a week, I was grateful that when I set up the appointment I agreed to a loaner. I was treated kindly and respectfully by John Kindhart. The car was returned to me clean and in great condition.
Bad service and waiting too long to receive plate
I was very pleased with the simplicity of purchasing our new xc90 from Grubbs. Larry our salesman was so helpful. He gave us a great price via remote and we went in and the price he gave us was exactly what it was. The finance department and and management were also very informative and assisted in making the process as simple as possible. We were in and and got the best deal in town. I would highly recommend letting Grubbs quote you on any car purchase.
Our car-buying experience at Grubbs was excellent. Christian Cortinas was great to work with - really knows the product, and no high pressure to purchase. Making a deal with us required them to locate and get a vehicle from another dealer. They located what we wanted and flawlessly worked the logistics. We’re very pleased with the staff and the final transaction.

Reached out to Grubbs to inquire about CPO S90s. The sales rep was not knowledgeable (did not give accurate warranty information, did not know the vehicles well, etc.). Communication was not strong from the sales rep also. At one point, it was made clear that I was using other dealers for my purchase. The sales rep continued to contact me (both by phone and by text). When I asked sales rep to stop contacting me because I made it clear I was pursuing other dealers, he responded and said that I was not clear. When I referred him back to the text conversation where I was clear (and where he actually responded by asking why I wasnt pursing Grubbs any longer), the sales rep had the audacity to text me back and tell me to stop contacting him.Completely rude and unprofessional from this sales rep from the very beginning. There are two other major Volvo dealers in DFW, as well as one in Austin, and all three of these were leaps and bounds above Grubbs in terms of professionalism, knowledge, communication, and respect.Stay away from Grubbs (or at least, stay away from the CPO Sales rep).
This review is to thank Jalea Davis at Grubbs Volvo (Family of Dealerships) Grapevine for her help and professional consideration when my husband and I were looking at Volvos. We did not buy and will not be buying a new car due to the manufacturer imposed, totally uncomfortable and non-adjustable headrests that are now on every car type.We like the Volvo and Jalea was able to share its many interesting and beneficial aspects. She gave us good information so we could make an informed decision.While being confident & professional, she listened to our concerns and tried to address themspending time and energy in conversation, research, and getting input from her superiors for more suggestions on how we could solve the problem. However, as with every other type of car we have tried, the headrests are not acceptable.We appreciated the fact that she was not too aggressive (which could send us right out the door) but was knowledgeable & informative, as well as engaging and caring about our concerns.I cannot thank her enough for her input, her time and her suggestions. I would buy my car from her, if the manufacturers EVER figure out that one posture does not fit all.
Volvo Grubbs has the worse customer service ever. They wait times are ridiculous. I can’t even get my 2021 car service because they don’t answer the phone. I’m still waiting on a call just to take my car in because the airbag light is on. I only had my XC90 for 3 months and whenever I call to speak to anyone, I can never get anyone on the phone. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership.
I know theres an obvious incentive for management to find a way to work with a potential buyer, but the care and commitment each person took with me throughout the buying process surpassed any treatment I have ever had. I can tell when someone is genuine versus going through the motions, and everyone I worked with - from Emmanuel and Brandy in sales to Terry and Angela in financing made me feel special. I will never buy a car from another dealership and I will urge my friends to “Go Grubbs!” Thank you 😊
Very pleased with the service manager Ray. He was responsive and transparent, informative and supportive. The service technician Matt was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Matt explained every concern we had and made sure we felt safe and confident with our vehicle. I was working with Ceaser. He had poor common with me the whole time he has my car for inspection. I came there with numerous questions and things I wanted to fix or get looked at, the only thing he spoke to me about was my engine. He didn’t follow up nor show any concern, if I didn’t spend the $8500 I wasn’t his concern. Won’t be going back, I prefer working with someone whose considers the amount of money the customer is spending.
