Get Marti Barson to help you out!! Her customer care is exceptional!! She is kind and professional. She answered all of my questions and walked me through this process of getting a couch. I had some special circumstances and she accommodated all of them. She was clear about timeline, and Stacy delivered on what they anticipated my delivery. Their delivery team did a thorough job of getting my couch to the 3rd floor! They wrapped my couch so it wouldnt get dirty and would go through the door. I will definitely use Stacy in the future!!

Customer service with this company is horrendous. I have been working with the customer service department since the beginning of 2021. I am having issues with cushions which should be under manufacturer warranty but trying to get any one to follow up is near impossible. I have to send an email and then they respond promising to contact you but you never hear anything. I waited to post a review hoping for some type of resolution especially while the pandemic is going on but now this is getting beyond ridiculous.

The manager called me to explain I was rude and should not talk to the phone associate mean. I sure hope they record the calls. I was direct not rude. I asked to have something done in direct tone and I am sorry if the person listening decided to say what she wanted. The customer service skills of the person taking the call was obviously lacking in training, but the manager that called is obviously lacking in intelligence and training. two issues there the first i can train as a employer and the second i cannot so we have to replace them. When you decide to buy furniture never deal with them if your Hispanic go elsewhere or you will feel like they are talking down to you. Sad day that people like that manger that exist in todays world.

I want to give phrase to Killie my sales person I placed an order on a Bernhardt sectional that I fell in loved with came to find out it was too big for my living room so I purchased another Bernhardt sofa just as BEAUTIFUL as the one I choose at first and some other pieces. Kellie was just so wonderful to work with and to top it off it was no sales tax day.Ill be a customer for life

Terrible customer Service.Bought a bed had it delivered and to be set up. Delivery people dismantled my old bed and because they had a slight issue with hooking the headboard to my existing bed left saying that customer service was sending a “specialist” to complete the delivery. Called customer service as instructed and they said they Wouldn’t complete the job.Will NOT be purchasing anything more from STACY to complete furnishing my new home in SOUTHLAKE and certainly will recommend to my neighbors they avoid a retailer who treats customers like this

NEVER AGAIN... will we purchase anything from Stacys!! They have the WORST customer service. We bought a love seat with recliners in December, still waiting months later for then to fix it. And basically the man ahead of customer service implied that we were liars about not reporting the issue earlier. It took us 2 months from the time of delivery to return an email.DO NOT BUY from them is my best advice! I wish that we could return our junk furniture!

We had the best experience at Stacy and I highly recommend! We came looking for a full size mattress for my 3 and half year old sons room. We wanted quality and something that would last but we also didnt want to spend a fortune. Jason Jordan and Royce made sure we were taken care of and got the best deal the company offered on a quality mattress and mattress protector. Seriously, I almost fall asleep in my kids bed every single night bc its soooooo comfortable. When we replace ours, well be back. Maybe even for a new dining room table if I can get the hubs onboard. Lol.

I can’t believe we’ve lived in DFW 20 years and never been to Stacy’s. We were looking for Sherrill furniture, which led us to our first visit there. Ron Kales helped us and quickly became our go-to guy on subsequent visits. He answered all of our questions and was there when we needed him, but let us explore on our own without hovering. We were happy with the service we received at Stacy’s and will be sure to return and ask for Ron again.

About 2 years ago, I purchased 2 leather sofas from Staceys. I paid a little over 2000.00 for each. Definitely not quality! Both sofas are splitting at the seams between each cushion where the top is sewn to the sides of the cushion. My previous sofas were over 20 years old when I replaced them. My husband and I are in our 50s and live alone. These sofa are not abused. GO somewhere else!

On Sunday Dec 6, 2020 we brought a love seat with recliners on each end. We picked it up on Tuesday Dec 8, 2020. At home when we put it together it was missing the power supply. We have been talking with customer service for days trying to get the power supply. We also have a couch on order to match the love seat. We are thinking about canceling the order. Plus return the love seat.Not very happy.

This was our first time to the store as we are new to the area. We were looking to spend 20k on furniture. We were welcomed and rushed through the store ending up with just three sofas. It was buy more save less sale so my thinking was they didnt want us to buy more? We were in complete shock, Ive never experienced anything like this.We recieved our custom sofas on time but the quality of the product was not good and very dirty.The movers were unprofessional! They caused damage to my door jamb trying to get the sofa in. I had called in a head of time and asked if the sofa could be disassembled, they said yes, not to worry! our movers are professionals and can disassemble anything. I asked the movers and they said oh no, it cant be disassembled. After watching them for 10min trying to figure out how to get it the sofa in I made a suggestion. Sure enough my suggestion got the sofa in. The movers were extremely nice and were trying their best, but needed more experience. In time I think they will have it down good.....if they dont have back issues down the road.They had their professional cleaner come out with his rag and spray bottle but he didnt clean anything. Ive been advised(after my purchase) by my friends who have also shopped there, that their furniture came to them dirty. It must be a pattern?All three sofas have issues. One of the seats is completely leaning to one side. I guess the three seat reclining sofa design is flawed and doesnt support correctly. The upholstery job on our custom order is Pitiful!The other sofa has a sound on the sofa arm that sounds like a 100yr old spring bed... also was dirty.Linda, (customer service representative) asked us to send photos and videos. I emailed them and asked if they received my emails. No reply back! We called them a week later and they said they did receive them. Linda said she is working the issue. We have called a few times with no luck speaking with Linda. We have left several voice mails to Linda, she isnt returning our calls. Even after a lighting storm fried our power unit to the reclining sofa, I needed help getting a new one and pleed for her help and to return my call. No returned call! Thank goodness for Amazon next day delivery and figuring this out on my own. Guess you have to do your own homework and customer service.So it sounds like we are stuck with poor quality furniture. Im so grateful that we were rushed through the store and didnt spend all our money there. Guess it must of been a omen.

Similarly to a lot of the reviews, customer service is an issue for Stacys furniture. I was trying to purchase an $1,800 couch from Stacys. However, before purchasing I wanted to fully understand the financing information because the contract left out some important details. After some back and forth, the representative decided I my order amount wasnt large enough to warrant her efforts and she told me to order elsewhere. I was left confused because I was nothing but polite.

95% of the furniture I received was great quality and I so appreciate the personal attention of the great sales staff who helped. However, Im now having a Huge Customer Service Problem.I bought some high quality chairs ($2k+ each) from a top manufacturer and the cloth started falling apart after 6 months. I expected that Stacys would take care of it, but its 2 months later and still no resolution. I had to send in the slip cover of my chair to get tested and Im now without a chair for the holidays, so have one chair I cant use and one chair thats falling apart. It has a warranty, so I simply want them to replace the fabric thats defective.I feel like Stacys just wanted the $30k in sales spent, but wont take care of me as a customer after the fact. Ill update this if that changes. My emails and calls have gone unanswered, so not sure what else to do.

My wife and I bought a couch, love seat, and recliner from Stacys in 2013 along with the 5 year warranty. Within 2 years, it was falling apart. We are talking pleather material which started to peel off. The sales guy swore to us that it was real leather (he no longer works there). Lane furniture, made in the USA! Wrong!! We tried to get Stacys to call us back as we still had our warranty but never received a call. When we did finally receive a call back, they advised us that we could use the warranty for another item but we would have to buy something with an equal or higher value than what we paid for originally. Originally we paid $2,100 for all three pieces. We were tempted to pack it up and dump it in Stacys parking lot. Would not buy from again!

I’m so impressed to learn that Mr. Stacy guaranteed his sales staff their same salary for 2020 as the salary they earned in 2019. This is so impressive as the stores were closed for 6 weeks during the spring Covid-19 outbreak in the DFW area. Knowing how generous and kind Mr. Stacy has been to his employees during this crazy and unusual time, I’m now a dedicated shopper to this family owned business. I have to edit my review because of some issues we’ve experienced. When we received our sofa we realized that some areas had very little support and it was quite uncomfortable. We called the store and they offered an exchange. It took about 4-5 weeks for the new sofa to come in and when they brought it, they brought the wrong ottoman. After talking to the CS manager, it was discovered that our ottoman was given to another customer. So now we have to wait again for a new one (another 3-4 weeks) To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. However, every person we have dealt with from store manager, to CS manager, salesperson, and delivery guys, have been nothing less than professional and friendly. We are happy with our new sofa, just annoyed with the process.Salesperson stayed close but not overbearing. After shopping many, many furniture stores and not finding a single sofa we liked, we found several at Stacy Furniture. We finally agreed on one. They told us it would be 8 weeks so you can imagine how ecstatic I was to receive my sofa 4 weeks later!

Sadly, the lack of communication (zero response to 3 different types of communication) has really disturbed what started out as a positive experience. Ordered a recliner, then Covid hit. Still waiting over 3 months later. And NO ONE can be bothered to communicate with me! Very disappointed with Staceys.Edited to reply to their response: in all 3 forms of written communication to them i advised i cannot hear on the phone. So they leave me a message on the phone? I reiterate, their communication skills are horrible. Just today (6-23-20)I got a text from Jay Stacy asking me to call. There is zero communication within as well as without.

Ordered a bedroom set which by the way was very expensive. staff are always helpful. the sales floor associate (Brandon) was very helpful. I can be a bit of a bother when it comes to a large purchase but Brandon remained helpful all the way. Before actual purchase I called there payment department which the young lady did not seem to friendly. Furniture looks great and is great quality. no complaints. Its been a year now since I purchased the bedroom set and I have to say it still looks great like the day I bought it. Quality furniture.

I bought a custom upholstered sofa and loveseat. 4 years passed, the seams in all the upholstery split open. I called Stacy and asked for replacement cushion upholstery. I was told to prove via pictures as to what happened. We took many pictures and sent them in. After several weeks, we were told that the furniture was not under warranty after 12 months. Then we were told that they could see in the pictures that we sent, that we keep an immaculate home with beautiful furnishings. More time passed and 3 more weeks went by, after calling Stacy, we still had to wait. I’m not sure what all the waiting was about, however. Then a phone call came and we were told that each cushion would be $250.00 to have remade. (Gasp!) So six cushions before tax and shipping is hefty at $1500.00! This set is by the maker known as Mayo. When we were sold the furniture, some sort of scotch guard was recommended and so we included that in the purchase price of over $5000.00. We received a another call from Stacy Furniture, and we were told that this upholstery fabric was about to be discontinued and that there wasn’t much yardage left and if we wanted to replace these split pieces, to do it now. We placed the order for newly made cushion covers, and eventually the covers were shipped to us.Meanwhile we decided to try to get more time from the original cushions and just put the new ones away until we couldn’t stand the look any longer. Well here it is, 1 year after we received the remade cushion covers. Today we decided would be the day that we replace all the old with the new. In the midst of replacing the very first cushion, the seam on the side split wide open, before it was even zipped up, and was never sat on! Furniture is not free and this stuff was not cheap to begin with. Stacy Furniture told us that the cause of the first cushions upholstery splitting was because of the stain guard that was applied. Well, these new pieces were not treated and not used, and I wonder what excuse Stacy Furniture would come up with now.I’m exhausted and this just follows suit with how the customer is always wrong in this world nowadays. Had to give 1 star or I would not have given that.

Stacy Furniture is a wonderful place to shop when looking for furniture. The options are quality, and plenty. They range from fresh and charming to bold and boisterous. The sales staff are friendly, approachable, and hungry, but for my budget, not hungry enough. I would love to dress my home up over and over with all the different optiokns, but I cant swing the prices. This is a great place to shop for furniture, just ensure you have deep pockets.

I purchased a Curio cabinet from a book and was told it would be a 6-8 weeks timeline due to it would be coming from NC. To my surprise it took 5-1/2 weeks. I scheduled a delivery for the following Saturday. When the delivery drivers arrived and unpacked it, there were no prongs for the glass to sit on. I WAS #!$@ING LIVID!!! The store was already closed, when I did contact them they stated they would have to contact the distribution company and have them ship me the prongs and that would take another week. Then someone called and said we have some prongs here, so they scheduled a delivery the next day. When they came, the prongs were brown, my curio is black.....No Maam!!! I am so through with them, I will NEVER purchase anything from them. They just acted like oh well, ho hum, to bad so sad, Is it time for me to go to lunch?!?! Who runs that place?!?! Take your money elsewhere!!

They severely damaged my wood floors when delivering my couch and put a large gash in the wood. They told me they would have someone come out two days later to repair it and no one showed up. I called and spoke to a manger and the repair was rescheduled again for today at 2pm. They sent a tech at 12pm, even though I told the manager yesterday I wouldn’t be home until 2pm and we agreed on that time. I have now been sitting for 2 hours waiting for the repair tech to come and when I called for a status since no one showed I was told “it’s not my fault you weren’t home at 12pm, we tried you have no reason to be upset.” This is the worst customer service and delivery I have ever dealt with. I will never buy here again and I had an entire new house to furnish.

Not impressed at all with the quality of the sofa I bought for almost $2,000. Bought the protection plan but doesn’t cover the way the material is wearing. I will not purchase again anything from there. Customer service takes a while to get back with you. Very disappointed.

I have purchased 17 to 20 items over the years with Stacys Furniture. Love that store. I have always purchased from the Grapevine store. For the last year, my sales person has been Stacy, no relative to the owners of Stacys Furniture. She has been wonderful to work with. Sure you have to pay up front when your item has to be ordered. That just keeps customers honest. Had my own business for years & we always requested full down payment upfront also. When you deal with the public, if you dont get money up front, many customers will change their mind & not take their order when it comes in. Peoples word is not their word anymore, unfortunately. I totally understand why their policy is paying up front. They would not stay in business if they did not have this policy. Have loved everything I have purchased & many of my items, I have found on their web-site & was not stocked in their warehouse, so it had to be ordered. Those items do take from 6 weeks to 3 months in some cases. I am willing to wait to get exactly what I want. Any little problem that I have had Stacy my sales person takes care of it very fast. Love her. I will be a customer for life.

Kimberley Tredemeyer took the time to send me a nice email with photos of inventory that may be what we were looking for. When we went to Stacys in person, Kimberley took great care of us. Our custom furniture order took half the time and everything looks great. The delivery guys also did a great job.

My husband and I bought a dining table/ chair set that was delivered today. Everyone in the store was super helpful, and Stacys has a military discount which is always appreciated. Sadly, I no longer consider Stacy Furniture to be a consideration for furniture shopping. My wife and I spent over $10K there while furnishing our new home. The problems started immediately, with the (Bernhardt) bed we ordered being out of stock. When it was finally delivered weeks later, it was incomplete. Weeks later, the repair parts finally arrived. The repair man sent proceeded to damage the bed to the point they had to order a new footboard. It took several MORE weeks for its replacement to arrive.The matching dresser was delivered with missing hardware. Weeks went by before we received the WRONG replacement hardware. It has now been MONTHS with no resolution, or status calls.The adjustable bed foundation was delivered with missing hardware. Too bad, we no longer carry that model.My wife and I have had our patience abused, our good will taken advantage of. Stacy Furniture will be the LAST place I go to for furniture/

I stopped by this location to see if I could find a piece for the front walk way of our home. There were a lot of items, but we didnt find anything that would be right for the area that we were shopping for, but we checked pricing and styles for other items and found some possibilities in the items. We have bought a lot of furniture from Staceys over the years. For our latest batch we worked with Stacy Bevers (sales) who is awesome... But this review is about the service we recieved on repairs from a previously purchased sofa.Did it take a while to get it sorted out? Yes. Did we have issues with the first replacement part not being the right one? Yes. But did they keep on trying to help and it ended up getting fixed? Yes! And thats including the fact that we had moved and they had to drive out to the country for us. Thx to Rob, Fernando and team!!

I visited the outlet store in Flower Mound and found a lovely dresser at a wonderful price. It had a few dings on it, but not a problem for me. I was given a day and window and approved it 9-12. 10minutes before I had a call saying they would be there. Nice show room, just did not have what I wanted - looking for sofa/couch. After awhile I noticed same style but with just different fabric - one sofa with a studded headboard then saw it again and again just with different fabric - fine if you like that studded look - just not for me. I did like salesperson acknowledged my existance/offered assistance, then did not follow me all around, later approached me after few minutes to give me business card - I liked that I was able to wander without being bothered. Prices to me were on higher end, but they did have some Sale items.

Bad experience all around with this location. My husband and I arrived with 2 kids in a stroller and we’re left waiting 20 minutes for a salesperson to come. We would have looked around but were told she was on her way so we waited and waited. We bought the Elran Amelia reclining leather couch and we’re told it would officially take 4-8 weeks, but that many people got theirs in about 2 weeks. After 9 weeks, our order finally came in. NOONE from Stacy Furniture contacted us to let us know of the status/delay. We had to contact them several times to see what was going on. We’re used to buying furniture through Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrell where even custom orders take about 2 weeks and the sales person calls you personally to keep you informed of status. So lack of communication from Stacey was a huge disappointment. We decided the couch was not comfortable for the length of watching a movie or any amount of time longer than the 10 minutes we spent on it in the showroom. So we returned, losing 35% of the overall cost, which was a significant amount. We ended up buying a couch from Crate & Barrel which was a far superior experience and product. And only cost 2/3 the cost of the Stacy couch. Staying away from this place, will stick with PB and C&B for the superior product and customer service.

Bought a dinning room hutch to go with our dinning room table. We have been searching high and low for the perfect match. Went to Stacys in Grapevine, walked in the front door and boom there it was. We got a picture and the measurements, went back home to make sure it was the right size for the space and then called our sales rep Scott Jackson and did the purchase over the phone. Moved to the area and was told this was a nice upscale furniture store. Couldnt be further from the truth. They use very deceptive sales lures of free tax weekend. When they delivered the deliverymen didnt bother to actually check the table for stability as it top was extremely loose. When we tightened the top, the latch that holds the leaf in place broke off in my husbands hand They delivered a broken electronic part to a desk, was told they would be back out a few days later to fix and they never showed. When I called to follow up made excuses for why they didnt show. Came out several days later to fix, and still could did not fix. Pretty and big store, however it doesnt make up for the lack of customer service or professionalism. Wouldnt waste my money or time there.

Placed an order for a sofa and two chairs and was told it would take 8-10 weeks to custom make with our fabric selection. We have waited 16 weeks and still dont have our furniture. Our salesman seems annoyed when I call to inquire about it and does not return my phone calls. We have purchased furniture from Stacys in the past and had a much better experience. Horrible experience. Sales lady was very very rude. Kept saying buy now buy now, very pushy. made me feel dumb and stupid. Lied about everything. Bought anyways because i liked the couch. Asked about the 0% financing option said all they needed to do is run a credit report to make sure Im a candidate. Actually they signed me up for a credit card which i never asked for. Guess that could be my fault for not reading the whole document. I asked if i could pay my monthly bills with a credit card and they said yes. That is not true either. Bank account draft only. They just tell you whatever you want to buy stuff. Sales lady said she would follow up in 2-3 weeks to let me know about delivery. Been over 3 weeks and heard nothing. Very unprofessional store in my opinion

We bought all of our matresses here... 10 of them. Two couches and a few other things. They delivered them, on time and with very cautious delivery driver and helpers. One of the couches had a small issue with the back left foot. The laborers pointed it out to us, Stacys replaced it within a week. We could not be more please.FYI - yes my last name is the same. However, we are not related. I am happy to find people that spell our name correctly. Highly recommend!

I used to love shopping here, but it is not the same. I walked in just to browse for a few minutes before I had to go to an appointment as Im planning to buy lot of furniture in a couple of months. A sales rep walked up to me, I said hello, I was very nice and told her I was just looking and wouldnt be buying anything today. She proceeded to follow me through the entire store right at my heels even though I was on the phone for a work call. The high pressure sales is such a turn off. When I politely told her again that I was just looking for today and would let her know if I needed help, she rudely responded that she had to be within eyesight of me through the entire store. Nice place to shop. Prices are hit-and-miss. The weird thing about this place is that we have never been told an item can deliver within a couple of days. It seems to be the norm to do this for Ashley Furniture, Nebraska Furniture Mart, or Rooms To Go. However, we are always told one month for delivery or longer from this place. Staff always appear to be nice and friendly, but the last person who helped us was a little bit pushy.

Wonderful selection and great quality. I had so much help picking out my new kitchen table and chairs. When it arrived, I was thrilled with the quality and how perfectly it fit in the space.Since then I have purchased bedroom furniture for 2 more rooms!

Not going back, the sales lady was nice enough. Gave me plenty of room to shop around with some suggestions. BUT, Lazy Boy is cheaper and Better Quality in Leather. Two stars for Sales Lady - not store. I had bought Bedroom and Living Room furniture from here in the past, now Out Priced everyone without name brands

One of the worst experiences weve had at a furniture store. We were shopping for a kitchen set as well as furniture for a possible theater room. We were in the store for at least an hour, and we did not have one person ask if we needed any help. There was a couple of items that we loved and were really thinking about purchasing, but when no one wants to help you, you take your money elsewhere.

Very pleased. We needed a new dinning room table. We shopped a few other places. We ate lunch at their Italian Resturant in the lobby, great soup!! We found flooring in the Peeks Showroom on the 1st floor. Then we got our new table... a floor sample at a great price!

If I could give ZERO STARS I would... I have been waiting for my Hooker office furniture since the first of July (It is now 2/14/2019) . The only person who seems to care is my wonderful salesperson Marty, but no one else in the organization acts with any sense of urgency. Granted Hooker screwed up the order several times but when I spoke with my salesperson there was NO indication that upper management would care, was helping, was escalating, was prioritizing, was upgrading the shipping method was doing ANYTHING. When the furniture FINALLY arrived in January one of the pieces was crushed (the only piece that had been waiting for me while the other pieces were redone - how wsa that not noticed???). I am NOW on 4 weeks waiting for that final piece to be resent which was supposedly in stock at Hooker. Should have canceled my order back in August when the 4 week lead time got missed the first time. Go someplace else as for furniture this expensive you should get concierge treatment.

Be prepared if you shop here, Stacy furniture does not do a great job with service after the sale. We purchased bedrooms/ 2 chairs delivered in May. Chair damaged and delivery folks drove through our yard. Ordered again- 3 chairs +4 pillows. Delivery- 1 chair terribly damaged and only 2 pillows delivered. Sales person could not have been more dismissive. Sales manager promised to call Monday morning to set up repair- did not call. This is my last purchase with Stacy furniture. They require too much of my time managing their mistakes and overall service is not preferred. Weirs here I come.

We purchased a very nice sectional couch for around $3500 about 18 months ago with around $600 for an additional 5 year warranty. When the couch was delivered, there were long threads hanging from all of the pillows and there was a huge hole in the seat pillow where the stitching wasnt finished. They sent out a tech to sew the open seam, but didnt address the strings from the unsecured stitching. Over the course of the last year, just about every pillow now has a hole in it where that unsecured stitching has gradually come undone. I again called customer service, and was assisted by a gentleman named Kevin Brown. Kevin heard my story, and said that they dont usually provide free service after 1 year, but since it wasnt the first time I had this issue, he promised to have all of my pillow casings replaced by the factory. Over the course of the next 10 days I tried numerous times to contact Kevin and customer service via email and phone, but was either transferred to someones voicemail or ignored entirely. I still have yet to hear from anyone. Stacy has amazing furniture in the showroom, but the quality is severely lacking when your furniture arrives at your home. The quality is showroom only and customer services is pretty useless after youve paid for your furniture.

We loved the selections. The salesman was very attentive and informative. Those are definite pluses, but when we pay over $1000 for a dining room table, expecting it to be fully assembled, and delivered ready to go, there is no way that after 7 months with very limited usage we should have chairs on the verge of falling apart! When we called to inquire about the assembly, customer service asked us if we tried tightening the screws! So are we to spend our day inspecting and repairing six chairs and a table??? We have purchased furniture from less prestigious stores, and never had any loose screws to worry about. There was no apology for the inconvenience. It was only after the rep sensed my frustration did she offer to send someone out as long as we were still under warranty.

Stacys horrible service not worth the time go to another furniture store.Ordered a bedroom set in may 2018 with an ETA of 4 weeks. Had a hard time getting status on furniture delivery from sales person (Stacy Bevers). All Stacy would say is next week, end of week (two weeks ago), in two days last week and might ship sometime next week. Bottom line Stacy never checked the facts, did not follow through, cuts you off when checking conveying impression sales done do not bother me.Finally in late June worked around Stacy to Shane Foster (Director of Sales) who checked on order and found shipment was held up at furniture provider. Appears a dresser was on back order. Due to pending guests Shane agreed to get the bed in and work on the dresser. Unfortunately it took until the last week or July / First of August to get the Trundel Bed after guests. Once delivered, the thicker mattress Stacy Bevers talked us into would not fit on the Trundel making it impossible to put a sheet on the bed and slide it in. So now we have two problems wrong mattress and still missing dresser.The Saga continues, at least Shane provided updates and agreed to swap the mattress. Dresser due mid August, then moved to first of September, then Mid September, then End of September, then Mid October and finally indicated if not in by end of October will just get a refund as this is a joke.Saga takes a hilarious twist. So Dresser finally arrives and delivery setup for November 2. Maybe light at the end of this furniture tunnel ordeal - NO besides its Halloween. I get a call on Monday 10/29 from their order handlers indicating I now owe an additional $168 (on an order that was fully paid back in May) and if not paid delivery will be cancelled. After indicating I do not owe anymore, they cancel delivery. So now its a trip back up to Stacys to show them the zero balance invoice from May. Upon arriving service person is adamant about the $168 and not clear why I am charged this. Unfortunately Shane is out, so another manager comes down to explain. Need to charge $168 for the mattress swap and when they get the one they sold back will make adjustments. ARE YOU KIDDING, last thing I want is more charges from an organization who cannot deliver and of whom I now totally distrust.So ask for a refund, done with the Stacys furniture nightmare. Shane (his day off) calls after receiving call indicating he has clarified the issue I should not have been charged $168. Based on some remaining trust in him, I agree to November 2 delivery (last straw) if he can make it happen.Ah Glorious day, dresser finally arrives - NOT SO FAST as I look at a dresser which is the wrong Color. Bedroom set is espresso (kind of black) and dresser is hickory very brown so cannot take delivery. Once again the incompetency of Stacys comes through. Their order and delivery process is a joke. There quality control is a joke, how about checking the order to make sure you have the right item before delivery. Delivery guys were great each time and once I showed them the order/receipt very polite to handle and take back wrong items.So bottom line what should be a simple order (Trundle Bed and Dresser) has been a 5 1/2 month ride through the roller coaster of Stacys bad excuses, bad sales info, poor sales person and overall organizational problems. Sad to see a local businesss service become poor.Have purchased many furniture pieces over the years from Havertys, Lazy Boy, Fine Wood places, The Dump and a few others and other than slight delays no real issues. I would highly recommend buying furniture from one of the above mentioned, Nebraska Furniture, Ethan Allen, Weirs, Thomasville, Bassett or other find furniture places instead of Stacys.I make it a purpose to shop local owned business when I can, but Stacys has lost my business forever no matter the product or pricing. Vote with your dollars, go to businesses that provide good service.I do want to thank Shane Foster for all his efforts and keeping us updated.
