I always wonder if reviews are from real people, so I assure you I am a southern Oregon native and used this company.I had an emergent car problem yesterday and was stranded on asphalt when it was 100 degrees out and was stuck for hours. After finally finding a tow that was prompt and reasonable (Grizzly Towing), I went to this shop.Most auto shops turned me away, but this shop has a community based service model and always keeps a space open for people who have an vehicle emergency, like I did yesterday.This is not to castigate other auto shops, but my experience here was above and beyond. This business is highly recommended.

I had a tow truck drop me off at K&C with an rv that broke down on the 5 while i was passing through town. I didnt know if they could get us in on Monday or even address my problem in the time i needed. Not only were they able to work me in first thing in the morning, but they diagnosed my problem and got it fixed quickly to get me back on the road. I really appreciated their communication, professionalism, and commitmemt to get me taken care of. I strongly recommend this team for any of your auto or truck needs.

Stella (My 2001 Chevy 2500HD W/8.1L) developed a muffler leak. I stopped by and Kevin took a look at her and the muffler was in sad shape. Luckily he had an opening and he put her in the shop that morning. He was done with her early. I will not go anywhere else for my work. He even gave me what i’m sure will be a great recommendation for body work to fix the rusted rocker panels and a new paint job.

There were able to squeeze me in and they were less expensive then every other muffler shop in town. My Town Car sounds amazing. They were very nice and friendly and I would definitely go back eventually for my girls car.

This is my second time using this business for car repairs. The first time we just came in for a tune up but my husband and I could not have been more impressed and this time was no different. These guys are not skeezy in the slightest, they put no pressure on you and the prices are absolutely fair. I cannot say enough good things. This is my car place, I’ll go nowhere else!

I could not be happier with my experience today. My Jeep Patriot has been stuttering when I drive. I did a bunch of research and it turns out I’m supposed to be replacing my spark plugs every 30,000 miles and I was at just shy of 100,000 and had never replaced them. I called Star Automotive and they wouldn’t just do a tune up and replace the spark plugs, they insisted on doing a full diagnostic. I wasn’t comfortable with them already trying to get more money. Kelly’s couldn’t get me in until Monday. When I called this shop, they asked a few questions about my car and told me to come right in. It took a little over an hour and they were done with the tune up and changing the spark plus and it was just shy of the quote they gave me of about $150.00. They didn’t chat a whole lot or upsale at all. They didn’t find any other “issues” either. My car runs perfectly now! I will most definitely come back and I’m already telling the other deputies at work. Thank you!!

Ive never had a repair shop take me underneath my own car and show me and ask me exactly what i want and how they will execute it. Kevin Sr. and Kevin Jr. are both very nice and respectable men. they tell you and estimate and thats what your price is. I’m coming back next week to get work on my transmission! Kevin Jr kept me informed throughout the whole process and let me make tweaks to my exhaust manifold when i asked. Big thanks to the hospitality and work done at K C Performance.

I had flooded my engine and they replaced it with an engine that had only 68,000 miles on it and even looked my Jeep over again another 900 miles into the new engine to make sure everything still looked great. It runs so smooth. Their work was clean and efficient. They got my Jeep in as soon as they got the new engine. Great at communicating and so respectful and kind. They not only gave me great service, but they were also the most affordable place in town! Nothing more you could want from your mechanics :-) Thank you guys!!!!

I cant say enough about K&C Auto Service. They did an amazing job and gave me a very very good deal to replace my exhaust pipe and tip on my truck. I had part of the exhaust pipe rust out over the weekend and was going out of town in 2 days. I called K&C and they got me an appointment the same day and had it all finished that afternoon. This is outstanding service all around. I definitely wont be going anywhere else for all of my automotive needs. Dont skip on this place, give them a call and they will help you figure out a solution for your vehicle at a great price, they sure did for me!

Nothing but praises for this small town shop. Relatively new to the area, we asked a friend where he got his cars repaired. He said no other place than K and C Automotive. Honest, trustworthy, and quick. We got all three of those things. After purchasing a new to us car...we attempted to take it to a local dealer to have the altenator fixed. We were charged $100 diagnostic fee to test it alternator, and upon fixing it...they said that our year...took a special alternator, that was more money...plus, labor was going to be more because it was so hard to get to to. They quoted me and additional 860.00. Thinking that was expensive, I sought a second opinion at K and C at the recommendation of a friend. They diagnosed it for free, and charged me $360.00. Said no special alternator, and it’s where every other one is...not hard to get to. They had it fixed in less than 3 hours, said my new alternator has a life time guarantee. This small town shop, earned new loyal customers because of their honest practices, and excellent customer service. Not that it matters...but my husband works a lot, and I was the sole communicator with this business. They treated me, a woman, professional courteous, and never talked down. More than I can say for a local dealership, and other mechanics. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

K&C is the best. The gentleman talked to me over the phone telling me to try a few things to ensure it was my failed starter. Gave me the tip of hitting it with something solid to get it started. Then once my vehicle started they were able to get me in the same day. The work didnt take long at all. Very fair prices. Extremely kind & knowledgeable employees. I will definantly recommend them. Kevin and his son Shea spent a lot of time with me troubleshooting. They drove the car around with me to hear all the noises I was complaining about and were patient with me when I changed my mind on one of the repairs. I thought I needed both brakes repaired but after checking both sides out they let me know that one looked alright and probably didnt need to be fixed at this point. This has not been my normal experience with automotive repair. They stand out among the rest as nice, efficient, motivated, and most of all honest. I highly recommend!

Engine blew on our suburban, got $9000.00 quote from other shop these guys took out the broken trashed engines did installed an engine I bought for under half what the other shop quoted. They were honest and straight forward from the first call. They completed the job on schedule. It has been over 6 months and the engine is doing purfect! An honest dependable mechanic!

Our truck broke down on Tuesday, got it into shop and had it back by Friday afternoon! It came out under budget also. I would highly recommend this shop. Honest and dependable mechanics are hard to find these days. Good job guys!

Kevin at k&c budget muffler is awesome! I walked down there with a problem on my car and needed it fix asap. Instead of turning me down like all the rest of the companies in this town, Kevin quickly assess my situation, told me there was a solution, made an appointment for me and got my car fixed all in same day. Not to mention I showed up to the shop at 1:30pm with my problems he made my appointment for 2:30 same day and then had me out of there at 3:15 (I was shocked) And on top of it the price he quoted me was less than what they actually charge me. Very honest business, work was quality and not to mention customer service was five stars! very satisfied and will return and send more business their way! Way to go guys you ROCK!!

I took my car to another shop in town. The people were nice, but I was charged $95, and they could not find the problem. They also said that if there was a problem, that amount would not go toward the repair. Thats NOT nice!I am so relieved to find a place where people are honest, friendly, AND, they know what theyre doing. Problem solved.Highly recommend.

Outstanding service. Kevin didnt flinch when I asked him if he would look at my 6.0 Turbo Diesel. He and his crew struck me as honest people and Im sure they could have charged me a lot more. Fixed my initial problem and then some. I know very little about mechanics but he showed me the damaged parts and explained the functionality. Im actually very lucky to have taken my rig here as the engine probably would have failed had they not looked into the EGR. This is actually my ladies truck (I prefer 2 wheels), and it is the main transport for our family of 4... soon to be 5. These guys had us back on the road in 3 hours (drop off to pick up).Update; 12/2018: I have continued to take my truck here. I had been told by Lithia that I had a major oil leak, probably head gaskets. Kevin spent a couple hours with it and suggested my Turbo might be bad. After a long investigation (Mock Ford told me, turbo is bad.).Kevin, his brother Del and his boys fixed up the turbo, lifted my rig 2 and put new shocks on for me... and then some. Still keeping us on the road.

Our check engine light came on and they fixed it within minutes! They are amazing and saved our trip!
