Everytime I have stepped foot in the door of Southtown I feel good.Whether I am taking a lesson, looking for something specific or just saying hi -you will get the full attention of either Dean or one of the friendly staff.I am a better person -and I know this city is better- for having Southtown Guitar here.

I love Southtown Guitar! I sold my guitar and bought my Recording King banjolele with Deans help, and it was a really great experience! I highly recommend Southtown to anyone looking for a great experience in going to a music store. So often when I go to music stores, the staff is all male and they assume I (a woman) have no idea what I am looking for. The folks at Southtown Guitar didnt assume anything of that sort, and went above and beyond in helping me find exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend this shop! PS! They just moved to East town!

Went into Southtown Guitar this last weekend just because I had been interested in the store for a while. I am in the process of teaching myself ukulele, and I noticed that Southtown has had a Groupon running for lessons for a bit now. I signed up for a free lesson before leaving. I was also offered the Groupon deal in the store. Im looking forward to my lesson.They also buy and sell used instruments. If you are looking for a lovely little local place, Id start here.
