Excellent experience with Birch Tree Bark & Stone. Pricing was significantly cheaper than a more local landscape store even though we were outside the local delivery range. Kind and helpful staff had answers to all of my questions and my order was complete over the phone in a couple minutes. Stone was delivered on time and exactly as anticipated.

Ordered 8 cubic years of color treated mulch online on the weekend, and set a delivery date of the following Thursday. Email confirmation of the order showed up right away, and a second email was sent when the truck was out for delivery. I have ordered several mulch deliveries (for different companies), and this was by far the easiest and most professional. Whoever delivered this batch knew exactly what they were doing, and dumped the truck exactly one inch away from my grass line....impressive skills to say the least! The order arrived on Thursday morning, exactly in the time frame specified, and the product appears to be of a very high quality. I will be ordering from Birch Tree Bark & Stone again!

I love ordering from Birch Tree and will continue to. They are super easy to work with, their online ordering process is SUPER simple, and the communication is on point. Today, I had them deliver some stone for a project I am working on and I TOTALLY forgot to prep the space for the dump. I was on a work call and couldnt run out but the driver waited for my wife to move our cars and even suggested she drop a tarp. Such a great service at great prices. We will be back!!!

Ordering process is quite easy online. I was able to schedule my delivery for the next available business day (ordered Friday - received Monday).Had a slight issue with the delivery placement of the stone I ordered, but I was able to speak with the owner Mark. He was responsive and we discussed over the phone.I would recommend Birch Tree Bark & Stone. I will use again if I have a need.

Had some tree stumps removed and needed a couple of yards of top soil. Ordered online / took first available listed delivery date. Gave them a call and let them know they could drop it off anytime really. Very nice on phone and said they were actually running ahead and it was possible they could deliver same day. Called me back an hour later and soil was on its way. Good soil and dropped it right where we wanted. Couldnt be happier with their service.

I was wanting that same Saturday delivery, but definitely wasn’t expecting it. My order was delivered on that Saturday I asked for, and they followed my delivery instructions perfectly. First time shopping was an amazing experience, my second time going they were closed due to winter season and i didn’t know until I reached out to them. I was looking for some stone for my fish tank as I explained, and they were kind enough that they allowed me to pick up some stones at no charge. Way cheaper than going to a big retail chain. I have only used Birch Tree the last two years for playground chips for my kids play area, but ill start getting my mulch and whatever else I can there too. I pull in, pay for what I want, get it plopped in the truck, and Im out in under 10 minutes with a real cheap load.

Called to see if they installed mulch, but they dont, which is fine. Asked for a recommendation... his response was that they he didnt know any landscapers... okay sure, quickly got off the phone and hung up. I get it youre busy and wont make money on referrals. I lined up couple guys to spread mulch, I call to order it and get a voicemail, I leave a message, a couple DAYS go by and nothing. I suppose I will call one of the other 20+ companies selling bark and mulch in GR.

Great product and very timely on their delivery. That said they did hit my neighbors cable wires which run across the driveway. Took three days and several calls to the cable company to get the wires fixed. Birch didnt contact me to let me know they had hit the wires, I had to come home and find it. When I contacted Birch there was no delivery fee refund offered. - Edit for Mikes comment below. Thanks for making this situation right!

Terrible! Called, said they would come out three times with load and never showed. Very rude seemed they only cares about how much money they could make off the deal and they jacked the price up twice!!!

I live in Cascade and this is the only place I get my mulch & dirt from. Thornapple & Flowerland are much closer but the quality & customer service you get from Birch Tree make it my go to place! Huge selection of rocks & mulch and great quality topsoil.

I ordered 4 yard of topsoil and specifically ask for some of the dirt of be dumped on part of the grass where the tarp laid and half of the drive way. The driver ended up dumping half on the tarp and half on the grass. Topsoil on grass is not fun to remove! I dont mean to be rude but this is the second times Ive ordered and both drivers were incompetent.
