Was excited about me fitting at Club Champion. Chris was amazing and did not disappoint. I would 100% recommend visiting this location if you want to take a club fitting seriously. I would recommend Chris Bigford and this location to anyone!

First time ever getting a full fitting, and Tyler made it a fantastic experience all around. I was nervous going in and hit a handful of god awful shots before getting fit to new clubs, and he gave great pointers that already helped my shots tenfold. Cant wait to pick up my full set soon.

I was looking for a club fitting from an experience company and decided to drive 2 hours to hopefully get it. I was greeted by a nice young man that was obviously new. After 3 hours I was sized for irons, 4 thru gap, putter, and 2 wedge. Price was $3500 and felt that I was set up.Not paying of course. Very disappointed Then charged $350 for my dumb choice and still looking for a fair deal somewhere that cares!

Jake is a wizard and a master at his craft. Finally getting to play the driver he fit me in over the winter and Ive easily added 25+ yards along with accuracy. Granted, I was not in the right driver to start but that is why he was great, he diagnosed it and got me in the perfect club. Was also fit for irons last year and they continue to perform top notch.

It took almost ten minutes over the phone to get an answer if they had a particular item in stock, which they did not. Not sure why they need a national call center to handle things like that, I cant imagine the staff of the store is so busy they cant answer a simple question. Maple Hill manages to do it, just fine.Maybe the customer service is better when you are there in the store, spending lots of money.But if they cant respect my time over a smaller purchase, why should I want to do ANY business with them?Short answer: I dont.

Was skeptical that I’d get fitted correctly after some bad “fitting” experiences back where I live. Drove the 2.5 hours, met with Jake and told em what I wanted, and he didn’t disappoint. My best swing netted me an extra 50 yards, and he explained everything in great detail and really knows his sh-t!!!! Some may balk at the price involved with a custom fit along with custom shafts, so those people should keep buying drivers and irons with stock shafts. But anyone that’s serious about the game, that wants to improve their scores, along with gain distance and accuracy should absolutely go there, you won’t be disappointed.On a side note, Jake’s partner (sry, can’t remember his name) is good too, so don’t be selective. I can only imagine what he did with the kid with a 110mph club head speed and only getting around 240 yards or so out of it!! Probably left there carrying it 300 before the roll. Thanks guys, I’ll be back soon to fit my irons next.

Had a driver fitting. I have all the confidence in the world in Jake Hamilton knowing he will set me up with exactly what fits my swing and game. I’ve said for several years that he is the best fitter in Michigan. I would highly recommend having him fit anyone from beginners to pros.

I had a awesome experience with Jake during my putter fitting. Not only did I think we found the the right putter but he also helped me with some tips for improving my putting game. I loved seeing the info on the screen and was happy to see my putter stroke was pretty consistent every time. I will recommend club champion to everybody and to Jake.But this is where I felt a bit shafted. This is not Jakes fault or necessarily Club Champions fault. But I am a left handed player. I know that my options in all of the clubs can be limited. When I booked my appointment I told Jake I wanted to consider 3 brands of putters. One was SIK putter which Jake was upfront stating SIK did not send any left handed demos. I was still able to try a couple of the putters I wanted but they were right handed and I could not really get the right feel using the right handed putters. I also know I limited myself because I really wanted to stay with a milled face putter. I know with Covid and short on supply thats maybe why there wasnt a big selection of left hand putters, but also know the companies only offer limited left handed versions.I wish the putters could be fitted like the rest of the clubs where shafts and heads could be swapped and maybe that is on the way in the near future.But overall I did enjoy my experience and am happy with the putter picked and will definitely be back for other fittings.

Club Champion Grand Rapids and Jake are truly awesome! He was super understanding and worked with my even when I wasnt striking the ball the greatest. Got me fit into a fantastic set of irons, and I cant wait to get them!Highly reccomend this place.

I got fitted at the Cleveland Ohio shop. The fitting went well and was told my putter would arrive within 1-2 weeks. Once I placed the order it was almost impossible to get an update from the club champion staff. Calls/texts/emails and almost impossible to get a response. When you try to call the shop and talk directly with your fitter, your call gets forwarded to a call center and they never pick up the phone. Reached out to the fitters cell phone on his card he gave me and never heard back from him. Finally heard back from my fitter a month later and was told my putter was built and waiting to ship. Then just recently I called again and they said my putter hadn’t been built yet and was going to be another 2 weeks. It isn’t so much the timing of everything because of whole Covid situation, but it’s the lack of communication that made the whole experience sub par. Again the fitting went well and the fitter was very knowledgeable but just would expect a little more for the price.

Highly recommend getting fitted here. Jake Hamilton is fantastic to work with, and knows his stuff! Definitely worth the investment in the premium shafts they have to offer.
