The staff here are so knowledgeable and service oriented. I would highly recommend checking with Comprenew before heading to a big box store. Their website is also very user friendly and you can tell that whoever is in charge of the user interface and product showcasing has an eye for detail and user experience.

Good place to go if you are in a pinch for bottom tier stuff. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Items that I looked at were overpriced compared to Amazon or best buy, or just not of good value in general. Always fun to look around though.

Great place to go on a low budget. Computers are all current operating systems.

Extremely over priced for old tech. Some prices are so high you are better off buying new. I understand everyone needs to make a living but selling a 7 year old laptop for $75 less than a decent brand new one just seems terrible. Do yourself a favor and buy new until these guys start charging reasonable prices for their borderline junk they get for free. If their business isnt sustainable while being fair maybe they shouldnt be in business.

Used to be able to go in there and snag a cheap 10-yo laptop to be able to do schoolwork or basic word on for about $100. Now those same 10-15-yo laptops are $400-600. Youre literally better off buying a new computer for that price.

Everything there is overpriced. They pretty much charge new prices for components that are several years old.I used to think it was a good place, but now it seems scammy.I went in to donate a bunch of electronics from a family members house and they wanted to charge fees for half the stuff. Like okay, Im going to pay you to take an HDMI cord that you are going to turn around and sell. I understand if it is junk, but this was all items they sell in the store!

Update: They charge you for just about anything to recycle. Printers: $6, ANY kind of TV, up to $60. Their price list is hidden in a pdf on the bottom of one of their webpages. Also, lots of places will PAY YOU (a little) for your junk. Just check out greencitizen.com. And non-CRT TVs are fairly easy to dissemble in a few minutes:

I dont know anything about computers but using then and they helped me understand alot plus they spoke to my fiancee on FaceTime to let him know what the problem was. Professional and nice.

Decent shop, mostly old work stations that have aged out. If you need a budget pc, its not a bad place to go, but I wouldnt expect any hidden gems for a steal.

I love this place! Nobody could help me play my Sims 1 on my laptop. Its not compatible with Windows 10. I struggled and for years couldnt play my game. An employee named, Hogar, helped me and another employee, Ross, fixed my issue and made it work! He took hours fixing it and really helped me out! Plus it was cheap! $30!!! I couldnt believe it! Thank you Comprenew for allowing me to relive my youth and play my older game!

Been going here for a while, this place is great for finding electronics projects or old hardware that might still have good parts. They have two sections, one (called digital digs) is broken hardware for salvage, and the other is known-good working hardware.The working hardware is fine, though youll generally find a better deal at places like Valley City. The digital digs section is the really unique offering where you can find some great parts and projects. Some of the hardware gets cheaper over time if it doesnt sell, with discount stickers, while some hardware seems to never sell, and sits for very long periods of time (to the point the price stickers fade.) The staff isnt able to negotiate on these stale items, which seems a shame.Staff is always friendly, knowledgable, and willing to help.In the back is also a somewhat separate section with recycled scrap from manufacturers, the idea being that it be resold and reused for creative projects. There are some good deals in here, as well as some (in my opinion) over priced waste of little value. Worth a quick look through though. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and all that.

Comprenew is a wonderful place to bring your old electronic equipment. I brought in several old computers, cables, keyboards, and monitors. It costs nothing to drop them off and theyre one of only a couple double certified places for data cleaning/safety. We have an old washing machine motor and they even said theyll take that. Employees there said that NOTHING goes in landfills; everything is recycled.

Easily overlook store. I have driven by it so many times and finally decided to stop one snowy evening. Good supply of used, new, and restored computers, laptops and monitors. Prices were fair but I felt a little on the high side for the product received. There is a great recycle program for old computers and hardware that is free to most but there is a charge for some items that are difficult to dispose of such as CRT monitors. Hard drive disposal can be accommodated as well. The disposal can be a simple wipe or a complete destruction if needed.

Nice computer store. They charge decent rates for services, and their computers are fairly priced. I took a laptop in, and they looked at it for free and were very helpful. I definitely recommend this store if you want a refurbished Dell, Asus, or other laptop or computer.

Comprenew has been a blessed go-to place for our whole family. We drop off old unused hardware there. We know it will be fixed and resold for a good cause. Its a great place to buy inexpensive things like cords and chargers. Why buy new when a used item will do the trick? One can pick up used desktops and laptops at bargain prices. Every town and city needs a store like this. I hope they expnad successfully.

This is two stores in one. Front is used repaired electronics, computers, stereo equipment, and anything else in the field of electronics you never know what you will find. Bring all your not needed or used electronics they will take it and fix if possible and resale at a discount.Back of store is like nothing Ive ever seen. They sell all kinds of paper, fabrics, foam or anything left over from many companies around the area you have to see it. My granddaughter finds lots of stuff to build gifts or cards or just for herself. Fill a bag for one low price.

They apparently cant sell broken computers anymore. The prices arent much of a deal anymore. Their commercial hardware prices are the worst Been going to some form of this store since it was on 10 mile. I hate to say it, but go to eBay. Really disappointing.

Aside from the nice selection of items they have, Ive also brought in my computer when it needed to be fixed and they were able to help. Theyre nice people who are always happy to assist you.

Oh how I like resale stores. Comprenew has an amazing collection of old electronics. Perfect for my tinkering mind. Some of the items seem a bit overpriced. Lots there youd never think would be. Its nice for one thing that there are places (such as comprenew) that will securely recycle media for free, but its also really cool to see all of the things on sale. Little things like molex adapters, various add on cards, adapters, etc. Its sort of unfortunate that they arent a little more price competitive with online retailers though - on some of these obscure things, Amazon may have them beat out by even %50, including shipping and handling.
