HAD ANOTHER ROOFING COMPANY(GREEN BUILT ROOFING) COME OUT AND PAID THEM HALF DOWN TO DO MY PROJECT AND NEVER SHOWED UP. HARDLY WOULD PICK UP THERE PHONES WHEN CALLING AND HAD TO DRIVE TO THERE OFFICE TO TALK TO THEM TO GET MY MONEY BACK. DUSTY FROM IRISH SHOWED UP AFTER AND MADE THE WHOLE PROCESS SIMPLE. ALSO CAME IN $4000 CHEAPER THEN THE OTHER COMPANY. CAME OUT WHEN THE PROMISE WEEK WAS AND GOT THE WHOLE ROOF WITH NEW UNDER BOARDS DONE IN 1 DAY. PRICE AT THE END WAS WHAT HE SAID AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENED THEM TO ANYONE ELS. GREAT COMPANY AND DUSTY IS TRANSPARENT AND COMMUNICATES WELL. HIRE IRISH, THERE GREAT!

Working with Irish Roofing has been a great experience. I needed a new roof on the house we just bought and Casey came right out and quoted. He was very detailed and was the only company that actually got on the roof to get a better look. Their pricing was competitive and their timing was fantastic. All in all, I would highly recommend.

I would recommend them for roofs, but not for gutter covers. We asked them to do something several times. Response was weak. Nothing changed. We have to climb up ladders to clean the debris from the U-shaped gutter covers twice a year. The covers dip down inside the gutters about a half an inch and just collect the debris higher up than without covers. So, the cleaning time and effort is less, but still required. If we knew in advance this would be the result we would have found a company with a better designed cover.

I am only writing this based in my experience Eric(I hope Im remembering right) we havent used them. But he was prompt, friendly and followed up. They also are the lowest bid weve had to date, may still be more than we will have to spend, siding is expensive these days. You should give them a chance.

After struggling mightily (over one year) to get original siding contractor (Avalon) to come out and review the quality issues, we gave up and contacted Irish Roofing & Exteriors. Dusty Martin came out immediately and quoted price to make repairs, but more importantly, gave us advice on how to clean/repair on our own. Do not see that type of customer service out there these days, especially when they were not the original contactor. I would highly recommend Dusty and Irish Roofing & Exteriors - only wish we would have gone to them first.

Just wanted to let you know how impressed we have been with this whole project. Thank you to our rep Dusty for his help in making it all so painless. The installation team was amazing. Everybody knew their job and worked together to have the roof done in 5 hours including cleanup. I know somebody will be back when the snow is gone to finish cleanup but the whole project went very well and we love the color.

My initial experience with Irish was very poor. The communication was nonexistent, the work we asked to be done was not fully quoted which meant we didnt know that the contract we signed didnt include all the work we asked to be completed, and it was not. But after expressing my displeasure several times, on several platforms, I am happy to change my review. We were contacted directly by the owner. He agreed the work was not satisfactory, and not up to the standards he expects. Our roof was finished that same week. I will definitely be contacting Irish again for our roofing needs. Any company willing to admit their shortcomings and make it right is the exact kind of integrity I want to work with.

Great roof and ridge vent at a great price (best quote of four that I received). Treated my small garage project like it was just as valuable as a big one. Ryan Perry is the best Salesman/Project Coordinator ever. This may not be his actual title but I wouldnt know the difference because he was eagerly available every step of the way. We had a few windows replaced, the house sided, and gutters installed. We also had a unique circumstance that required the brick to be removed and for the house to be built out in order for the siding to work. Experts, Ill tell you. They manhandled this job. The crew was fast, professional, and efficient. I wouldnt change a thing. Great work. I also used Irish Roofing to comple a roofing and gutter install at my mothers house, and they knocked that job out the park as well. Excellent from start to finish. Dave S., came to the house and provided an estimate that was well below any price I received in the area. Irish sent a great team to the house. They covered any areas that might collect debris while working and moved anything personal around the patio, etc. for protection. They arrived by 8 a.m. and were completely done by 5:30 p.m. All debris was cleared and areas around the patio and driveway were hosed down. They were very professional and did a beautiful job! Would highly recommend.

Had Irish install a new roof on both of my properties. They did such a wonderful job that my Father in Law had them as well.Ryan promised us a great cleanup and the roof to be done in a day. Had several estimates and Irish wasn’t the cheapest quote. They were not the most expensive either. We have decided to wait to do our roof until a further date. However when we decide to pull the trigger I am going to choose Irish out of our 5 estimates we gathered.Ryan Perry was the representative who gave us our estimate. He is friendly and right to the point. He did not waste anytime and explained the process with out trying to sell me. I was relieved after I had already spent hours with another big name company that I won’t share. First of all, there were eleven workers on my roof and they destroyed my leaf filter covers over my gutters. They stepped on the mesh part and tore a lot of them up. Leaf filter replaced them for me for free, thankfully. And that saved then from the cost of replacing my mesh. Second, they did not do a good job putting up the drip edge, it looks terrible in some places. Its not even at all. I took pictures of it and showed the rep who came out to look at it. He said someone would be in touch with me. And third, they were suppose to replace some fascia wood in some spots. 11 days has passed and I have not heard from them. Nothing. They said another crew would be doing the fascia work. They started my roof project on June 3rd and finished the same day, in which I was thankful for. I will be calling them tomorrow to discuss these issues with them. I feel like I shouldnt have to call them, they should be calling me.

After reaching out to several roofing companies in the area, I chose Irish because of their responsiveness, professionalism and ability to work with me in choosing the right roof for my house. The time frame in which they were able to complete the work was also a big plus because I was looking for someone to complete the project within a months time. I received immediate feedback every time I reached out with a question and would sometimes receive responses from more than one of their employees, including Scott and Sophie, which showed me that they were invested in me as a customer. DID AMAZING!!! LOVE THEM and will not use any other company ever. I worked with Ryan Perry and he made it all so simple to set up and fast. The crew that came to do the work, also did amazing! I have lots of landscaping and they protected all of it and cleaned everything up great. I have sent them to other people for quotes and they all have and are using them too. I had soooo many bad spots and they stripped and fixed EVERYTHING. Their price beat everyone else. Ask them about the warranties. They actually are worth it.

I had my roof, soffit, and gutters done. The quote was good, but I had issues after they started the work. They had told me originally that they could re-use my facia which would save me about 3k. Sounds like a great deal, until they actually try to do that and it did not work. They almost charged me $1600 extra for their mistake. Luckily, they “ate” that cost they told me, and they didn’t charge. There was another promise during the initial consult about routing my gutters to the side of my house, only using 2 downspouts. Sounded great at the time, but in actuality that was not even possible due to the length of my house/gutters needed. As a lay person, I depend on the company to tell me what will work for my house, because I don’t have a background in any of this. It was just slightly disappointing that there was a lot of miscommunication. The soffit and gutters are also done by a third party, so any changes you want to make-(even if they are at your house)-you have to call Irish, and it’s just a lot of back and forth. It was a stressful experience.

I hired this company for a complete tear off and facia repair. Andrew came out with another person was quoted for an amount of $14,000. Then upon the work started, I was informed it will be another $4,000 claiming theres four layers of shingles which the two guys that came out do the estimate that was on the roof apparently missed? After completion of the job the facial was just a board exposed and several nails and old roof all over the backyard. After the inspection they wanted payment right there on the spot. There was also nails and roofing materials not cleaned up properly.

I am extremely disappointed with our decision to hire Irish to replace the roof on our 100 year old house. We went with this company at the recommendation of multiple neighbors and after our friendly conversations with the sales people. Irish advertises themselves as craftsmen, but we received a very poor contractor experience. Our roof was not sealed in 3 different places after the job was complete. After each incident, the company did come out to the house(after rainstorm was over) to seal up the areas. However, we now have water damage in our home where we didnt before. Irish told me to cover up the water damage with a fresh coat of paint.We also used Irish for a window replacement. The job was simple and straight forward until we realized that the wrong color wrap was going to be used for the outside of the window. The crew eventually went and bought the color that we had ordered and installed it the next day.If you are willing to be your own project manager - there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between their supervisors in the field- and if you dont care about the details, this company would work for you! I, however, will be taking my business elsewhere.

My wife and I were in the market to get a new roof installed. We shopped around and had several estimators come and quote us. I found that Scott Zochowski was super informative, professional, and most of all not pushy. Although we didnt go with Irish for our roof we will keep them in mind for future projects. Irish did a great job on fixing and replacing my roof. A limb went through the roof and they came out to put a temporary patch over the hole. They then had a crew come to take off the old roof, replaced bad plywood and put on the new roof. Very professional, quality job and materials, clean up was wonderful!

We hired Irish in the fall of 2019 to do a complete tear down of our roof. I was very clear with the sales professional and the construction crew that I wanted to invest this money because it needed to be done and since it is a lake home that I spend only part of the time at, I wanted peace of mind. Irish was the most expensive estimate I received and I felt they would be worth it. Unfortunately, I no longer feel that I should have went with Irish and wish i would have hired one of the many other roofing companies that came to the property. First and foremost, Irish has great customer service. They are responsive and they will return your phone call. There are two areas where they have failed me though. Clean up. Their clean up was horrible. There was debris everywhere. I have dogs and I told them this was so important to me. I still continue to find screws, nails, and chunks of the old roof in my yard. They said they would come and do a spring clean up but never did. The reason I know they didnt is I purposely have everything in a giant pile. If they cleaned up, that pile would be gone by now. The second and biggest issue is the fact that I now I have a carpenter ant infestation. Let me be clear that this is not from the roof. It is from my chimney. The chimney is cracked in several areas and they do not do masonry work so they wont be addressing the issue. I couldnt be more specific on how I needed them to pin point any issue, problems, or potential things that might have come up. There is no reason after spending a week on my roof and coming back several times that they couldnt have mentioned this. I had no idea and have had water coming in. This is going to cost me thousands to repair. I understand they do not fix chimneys but they could have said, We dont do the masonry work, but you need to get someone here for this. Its so obvious now that I see the pictures that this needed to be fixed. I only wish Irish would have been looking out for my best interest after I paid them $16,0000.

I had nothing but top notch service from Irish Roofing & Exterioirs. Not only did they come in with the best quote their explanation of what would be done was excellent. They communicated with me every step of the way. When the delivery of the new shingles was delayed they called to let me know what had happened. Even with the delivery delay they were still able to complete my roof within the time frame they had given me. Every person I talked to was friendly, professional, and timely. This is my opinion of my experience.initially there was some miscommunication between myself and an estimator. I was a little disappointed in not getting the response I needed. This happens with any business customer relations. However almost immediately Eric called and apologized and came out and made it right and ASAP! Its the mark of a great business that makes things correct and has the philosophy of putting the customer first . I rarely have seen that response and willingness to take care of things to my satisfaction, and Im difficult to please. Thanks Eric for your help I appreciate it! I am very pleased with the work done, which was completed in under 9 hours in the same day. Thats pretty quick for both shingle removal and new shingle installation! A few days prior they have someone come and unload the shingles onto the roof which went well. Follow-up after the install was good, too. An individual came out with a magnet to ensure there were no leftover nails and debris after the job was completed. Id highly recommend them and will likely ask about the other services they have when the time comes as it appears they do windows and more as well. The new roof looks great and I like the new color as well. If needed, they have many payment options available.

My family and I got our house sided by Irish and we have called at least three times to come out and every time they pushed back the time and then never showed up. Our siding is flying off in the wind and taking our cords with it. This is still an ongoing situation.

Roofing, Windows, Siding and Skylight replacementLarry shared our vision and offered excellent suggestions with updating our home exterior. Our project was much more than roofing. It involved chimney repair, new windows, skylights, soffit update and new metal roofing on dormers. It looks awesome. Irish placed their top crew on our project as they knew it was more than challenging. I have already recommended Irish to friends and would use them in the future.

These guys were ABSOLUTELY fantastic! My husband and I own a flat roof home and we had roofing contractors come out to look at our roof and laugh. Irishs flat roof team is led by an experienced (I think he said 20 years) flat roof foreman, who really went above and beyond. We had a huge two day storm in the middle of our project and not only were these guys out DURING the storm to make sure it was holding, but also came out in the evening to reapply temporary metal that had fallen off in the storm. Absolutely awesome contractors. You would have thought it was their house with the amount of care and concern they exerted. We look forward to having Irish back out next summer to do other projects.

We recently had Irish Roofing & Exteriors do a very large window replacement project for us (23 windows + 1 slider). From the initial contact until completion, their service was top notch. Great communication and respectful of your time. After this, I also had them do a small siding repair job which also went fantastically. I will be using them for any future exterior work on my home.

I have only good things to say! The company was great with communication, letting me know when theyd be there and at what time. They worked with my insurance so I didnt have to worry about that. My chimney had imploded and damaged the roof, and my 4 year old was quite worried about Santa so the guys fixing the room make sure to point out how they fixed it just for Santa. Then, when cleaning up, they actually cleaned up some of my personal mess as well. My driveway and garage floor were neater when they left than before they started work.

We chose Irish Roofing after getting bids from a few contractors. They were prompt and professional, and could get us scheduled pretty quickly even though our job was a relatively small repair. The job was done quickly and the clean-up after was amazing. We had a small issue with the match to our existing shingles, and they worked with us to make sure we were satisfied. Their commitment to customer service made the whole experience very positive- great job!

I had a great experience all around with this company. Michael Belfer is a great project coordinator. He explained the process well, quick to respond with questions, and very friendly. He understood our financial situation and was honest and never tried to sell more than we needed. The owners spoke with me directly to work something out financially knowing we didnt have a lot of money until we agreed on something that would work for us. They are definitely in it for the people, not the money. The quality of work is excellent, done same day, and no mess. I would highly recommend this company.

Irish Roofing & Exteriors did a great job on my new roof. They stripped off the old one and put on the new one in one day. Their crew was exceptional. The company (Owner, Larry) is easy to deal with. David Strotheide, the rep who originally came to the door dealt with filing the claim with my insurance and meeting with the adjuster. My friends and family are in awe of the great job done by Irish Roofing & Exteriors. This is the 3rd new roof I have dealt with as a homeowner and it is by far, the best and the easiest.

We had a roof issue that was impacting a property sale, but were having a really hard time finding a roofing company to commit due to the timing so close to the end of the roofing season. Because it was a smaller (one day) job, Irish was able to squeeze us in and get the work done so that the closing could go through. We were pleased with the explanation of the work to be performed and the cost was reasonable compared to the other quote we were able to get. They did a good job cleaning up and even put the heating wires back up that they had to take down!

Irish is awesome! They not only were the least expensive of all the quotes I received, they were also done with a complete re-roof of my house in less than 1 week from signing. The roofing job only took a day and a half to complete and I cant be happier. Irish knows what theyre doing, and they do it well. Give them a go and you wont be disappointed.

I highly recommend Irish for any roofing needs! Due to the recent storm that passed through it caused some leaks in my roof. I called and David came over same day to look at the leak. He was very professional and provided honest feedback. He let me know it was a minor fix and saved me from filing a claim and spending over $1,000 bucks in repairs. He even went above and beyond and said he would be walk me through the quick repair! It’s hard to find customer service like this nowadays!

The Quote Process:Let me first start off by saying that I NEVER leave reviews for my own personal reasons. However, with the cost of a roof replacement and my overall experience I feel as though the team at Irish deserves one. My wife and I recently retired from the Air Force and settled in the Caledonia area and our house that we purchased had a 19 year old roof that was ready to be replaced (we knew this when we bought). As a new guy in the area I didnt really know where to start so I called 6 different companies to get a quote for the work including one over in Lansing. For the most part the quotes were all relatively similar with a couple being really high. From the moment Michael arrived to my house he was very friendly and did not make the experience about making a sale. Trust me when I say there were a couple that spent more time telling me how great their company was then actually answering my questions. The price that Irish quoted me was always the lowest which in some cases can be alarming. Dont worry there isnt any need to worry here folks. Irish set their price and they delivered an absolute quality project. The material was all Certainteed Landmark brand which from my research is a great quality. I was told by another company that Irish would be using cheap product in the areas that I couldnt see like the rain/ice, felt, etc. 100% not a true statement.Roofing Day:My roof is rather large at 40 square so I planned for this to be a multi-day project but Mike assured me that its a 1-day job. I had my doubts and would have put a small bet on it if asked. Glad no one asked because I would have lost. The crew showed up promptly at 0800 and got started. I was shocked at how quickly they got the old roof off and down to the bare wood. Their prep work before getting started was very good and set up in a way that would limit the amount of cleanup at the end. From this point there wasnt much to do other than stand back and watch them work.During the tear-off my internet dish that is connected to the side of the house was hit by falling shingles leaving me without connection. This worried me because I work from home and the company was telling me that they couldnt get to me any sooner than a week. When I called the job supervisor he was prompt to handle the situation. I quickly received a call from the team back in the office and they took every measure to solve the problem including making the offer to buy me a MiFi hotspot and data to get me through the week. Thankfully, the technician was able to come out to the house same day and fix the dish. So if there was anything I could complain about it was this but Team Irish was on it and ensured there wasnt any possible way for me to complain. Work continued and to my surprise the 5 guys on the roof came through and completed the roof in just a single day.The Cleanup:The great thing about the cleanup was that the team cleaned throughout the day to minimize the mess at the end. Heck even one of the site supervisors was out in the yard grabbing things and ensuring the area looked just like it die when they started. Once all of the debris was put into the dumpster the team went around my house several times with magnetic rollers to catch any nails possible. The roof has been done for a week now and I still havent seen a single nail lying on the ground.The Final Thought:Okay I understand this is a long review but I feel that Team Irish deserves it. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone that is needing roofing services in the near future. I will have them back out soon to do my barn.
