While I hate toys r us online worth a passion. This store is fantastic. They go above and beyond with their customers. I drove all the way from Cadillac Michigan to this location to get a Nerf gun the guy I spoke to on the phone was great I was thankful they had it in stock and they were willing to hold it for me made my son very happy for Christmas

As soon as I walked in employees instantly started asking if I needed any help. I had a few questions and was helped out right away. there are so many toys to choose from, shopping for the grandkids takes much more time then I planned. I thought Id be there 1/2 an hour and ended up being 2 hours. Good sale on this particular day. Ended up saving over $50.

Great deals! But they had very little stock in the store. Looked like they were going out of business or something. They also had a weird days left sign up. Who knows. Maybe thats when things will be back in stock.

I see a lot of people on the reviews here saying to change the stairs and remodel the entire store. You people do realise this Toys R Us existed since about 2002?I happen to like how it is and dont want the store to change, I like how it is since Im familiar with it ever since I was very young.Anyways, I like going to this store since the staffs are very nice, Ive known this Toys R Us since I was very young, I take my kids here and they enjoy coming here.Great selection of toys, and all the products that Ive known since I was young have remained in the same exact isles surprisingly. Only complaint I have is theyre not that hygienic with the floors, it seems like that recently since they took really good care of the floors in the past, but now looks like they just neglected it...

I have always loved shopping at Toys R Us and am so sad that it will no longer be possible. I dont want to grow up, Im a Toys R Us kid; theres a million toys at Toys R Us that I can play with! From bikes to trains to video games, its the greatest toy store there is! I dont want to grow up cause maybe if I did, I couldnt be a Toys R Us kid.

Biggest ToysRUs Ive visited so far. Great collection of toys for all ages. Clean and staff is courteous as well. Please check the store out before it goes out of business.

The stars that this gets, are nostalgia from my childhood.The days of staring wide eyed at the massive shelves, filled with so much more than toys. It was imagination and endless possibilities.The stars that its lacking, representative of the corporate greed machine that a once beloved toy store has become.Im not sure how a company with such a high mark up lost its ass so severely. It certainly wasnt due to employee wages or benefits (its not a raise when wages are increased solely due to an elevation in minimum rates).Either way, the TRU that I mourn was dead long before they filed bankruptcy.So long, Geoffrey. A nice Toy R Us location. They carry many of the newest toys. Also has some Babies R us items.

Absolutely horrible. I waited for 50 minutes for my layaway. At this point a crew member came out and said that they lost 1/2 my layaway so he has been going around the store shopping for my stuff. No one communicated with me what was going on. Instead they just let me stand there. I asked to see a manager at that point. I am currently waiting for her to fix this.

Its sad that Toys R Us went under. Unfortunately it was due to no fault of their own, but rather struggling with debt given to them in a leveraged buyout by Mitt Romneys own Bain Capital.Corporate greed stole the success of Toys R Us and burdened it while sucking all the profits out.This store was big and had tons of toys. I usually went to Alpine or Muskegon, Id always be able to find what I wanted if I ended up here.

Selection is good. Staff is either stellar or terrible depending on the day. Cant blame them since they work for a HUGE corporation

Clean and well organized. The staff was helpful and friendly. No harsh upselling. Overall a good experience.

Standard Toys R Us, there was a nice staff member that helped us, he got our sand for us and gave my kids free bracelets.

Anyone whos purchased a Medela breastfeeding product knows theres a disclaimer that says it cant be returned. Well, the Toys R Us staff apparently either cant read, or choose to ignore this disclaimer... they sold me a previously opened box of Therashell breast shells that had DRIED BREASTMILK ON THE INSIDE.Oh. My. Word.Good thing I checked the contents before driving all the way home.Thankfully, the customer service clerk shared my horror and let me do an even exchange for Softshells, which were miraculously new.Also, whoever designed the elevated stairway platform thing for this storefront must have been high on something.

Always understaffed: no people to help with during shopping if questions arise; customer service is mostly overwhelmed and understaffed as well - wished they would provide either better trained customer service personel or at least provide more personel. Although I do not care for the store layout on ALPINE Rd (much smaller, more cramped togetehr) I do very much prefer the friendliness of the service people and their efficiency

Got a great deal on Halloween costumes and backpacks. Very friendly customer service!
