This is my favorite corner store in Grand Rapids! They have all the essentials and it’s right around the block from my house.

The things that I have seen this store tolerate inside and around it from fights to drug sales never surprise me. However when I had forgotten my face mask, even though they had two other people just walk out with masks down below their chin or not on properly. Still I was denied entry. Shipping somewhere else now. Even though they are just next door.

Love the owners. Everyone greats you with a big smile. Only issue is the new girl working is rude and treats most people poorly. I won’t go in when she’s working. Beside accusing me of stealing because I couldn’t find what I wanted. She’s just not a nice person. But one employee doesn’t take away how much the owners have done for our neighborhood.

Besides all the gentrifiers demanding that they own the place in the other reviews, this is a perfect corner store in a great neighborhood! Dont expect a huge selection (its a cute tiny building), just the essentials.

My favorite old skool style Bodega in town. The rows are narrow and super tall. The Bollywood techno music is always bumping and they are the only place on the Belknap.

They are remodeling it also will become a alcohal free store since they lost there lincence to sell it
