First, grateful this location is open on Saturdays! Most importantly, LaToya is amazing. She fixed my sons glass after he rolled over them on bed, broke the string and bent his frame. . And she also adjusted my husbands glasses (after he was ready to throw them away)! Hes so happy now!

Id like RX Optical Corporate to know how happy and satisfied I have been as a Customer at Plainfield North store in Grand Rapids, Michigan - specifically with Candace Powell. Over the course of several years I have had eye exams and have purchases several glasses and sunglasses as well as contacts lens and have only worked with Candace - by choice. She is kind and helpful, knowledgeable in her assistance in answering any questions I have and in placing my orders. She is extremely confident and competent in her working with me, her co-workers and with the doctors. Over the weekend my husband was complaining his eye was itchy and he kept rubbing his eyes. I asked if he had anything in them and he said no it’s just allergies. Come to find out there was a piece of metal from work embedded in his eye. Thankfully, I called and talked to Candice and she was able to relay messages with a doctor and found an appointment TODAY for him! So glad Rx always takes the best care of us!

Was able to get an appointment around my crazy retail schedule easily. Multiple associates helped me pick the perfect pair of glasses! Recieved my glasses quickly. Could not be happier.

Recently started coming here due to my old eye doc. moving out of state. I have to say that the staff here is lovely and quite funny if you get talking with them. HUGE selection of glasses, many contact options, and extreamly clean/organized/well lit facility! They work with your budget and help you get the best quality and most bang for your buck. I highly recommend this place.

This place is the absolute worst optical office I have ever been too. Never have I felt so unwelcome in a place of business before. I walked in today looking to get some sunglasses for an upcoming trip and when I walked in there was two girls sitting up front who watched me walk in and said nothing. No hello, how are you, or how can I help you. In fact they just went on about their day as if I wasn’t there. I wish I had caught their names but one had short reddish hair and the other had long red hair. I waited thinking maybe they’ll come up asking if I needed anything but they never did. They both walked to the back and left me out on the floor alone. I heard them laughing in the back and joking around, are you freaking kidding me? One of the girls were even singing. I will never ever step foot in another Rx optical again and I encourage others to do the same.

I stopped into RX Optical because the glasses I recently purchased from SVS did not fit well. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Kyle who was willing to help me, although I didnt purchase my glasses from them. He adjusted my glasses and made sure that I was happy. I will definitely go back to RX for my next pair of glasses. Thanks Kyle!

I had a great experience with the Rx Optical on Northland Dr. They got my prescription right on with progressive lenses that required no getting used to. I have never seen more clearly.

Ive been going to Rx for 5 years and have received nothing but the best service!! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the glasses and lens! There is no other place Id rather go and I recommend them to anyone I know!

I always come here. Im very hard to fit for glasses. But they always are patient. My favorite employee is Jason. Hes always been helpful and professional. He actually CARES!

I’ve gone to Rx optical over on the east side of the state and recently moved out here to the Rockford/Plainfield area. I am honestly hurt that all Rx Opticals aren’t customer friendly. I walked into this location on Northland dr. A few days ago and was disappointed with the cleanliness of their store. Do they even pick up at all there? You walk in and it’s like a maze to even find someone to talk to. Secondly, customer service is awful. I have VSP and was told they cannot take it because it’s out of network and they only take in-net work at there store. They didn’t even offer to go to another location, they simply said we can’t take your insurance. She didn’t even bother trying to offer me a deal at least for not being able to take my insurance. I believe she was the manger who I spoke to, I remember reading manager on her name tag, I think it was Cindy? Or something that starts with a C I can’t remember but still, I’m extremely disappointed with Rx Optical and sense then have looked else where for my Optical needs.
