Best most professional eyeglass place Ive been to. Connie and Margie did an awesome job on my glasses. I needed them ASAP and they made it happen even though I needed special lens material because of the type of glasses I brought in. I came in on a Monday and they ordered the material and they had my glasses ready in a couple days. They even polished the sides of the lenses even though they didnt have to but looks very nice A+++

Took my glasses to the Grandville store to have them fixed but was told the frame would break if they tried to fix it so they offered to sell me new frames instead. Called a competitor and on my way to see them I decided to stop by this location, and sure enough they got my frames fixed no issue by Aaron. I have been going to eyeglass world for many years. This time was the best! The man that took care of me was so nice and personable. I have to say he was the best salesperson I have had in a long time! His suggestions were great, he explained in detail which would be better as far as using my insurance versus using their deal and saving me money! As the commercial on t.v. says: Who dies that? My son and I have been going here for years, when I finally talked my husband into going too. Initially it was great, even though he didnt get them same day (the lab was broke down) because it was out of their control we had no issue. He bought the insurance luckily because he broke his glasses just a week or two after he bought them. We took them in to be fixed and he decided to add bifocals, we were told they had to order the lenses and they would call when they arrived (nearly a month after being told about a week) on more than one occasion, we were told to give them a couple of hours to install the lenses on his frames. We brought them in to the store at 3:45 and were told to give them about an hour or and hour and a half to get them done. We stopped back in at 5:30 and then were told that they wouldnt be done because we need to leave them over night, after driving and hour to get there. We were told several different stories on why his lenses werent in yet and told 2 different stories about how long it would take to get them installed. I doubt we will be back.

Alex Cowles was a huge help in getting me not only new glasses, but fixing my old glasses until the new ones come in. He had excellent customer service, a great personality, and was very helpful in explaining all of the details.

They remade my glasses 4 times and the OC and PD were still off. The first time they didn’t even include an OC height which is required for astigmatism. I went here because they were cheaper - lesson learned. I ended up getting a full refund. What a waste of time.

My Husband bought glasses from Pleas couple weeks ago and was very pleased. Pleas took the time and knowledge of products offered.I went to 28th location because of Pleas. Once again Pleas happily helped out. Horrible customer service. The staff stands around talking to each other instead of helping the customers in the store. I was in the store for over 20 minutes and no one checked in with me or helped. Great glasses but the staff made me choose to go elsewhere.

I was amazed at the awesome service the moment I stepped in the store All the employees were polite, helpful and understanding my needs I ordered 2 pair of glasses one for wearing all the time and a pair of sunglasses. My order was ready in less then a week. When I went to pick them up both pairs fit perfectly and no adjustments needed so it was an in and out visit. Theyre only interested in making a sale! When I asked staff questions about the frames he kept responding with its up to me. None of them considered helping me find frames that fit my face. Shouldnt figuring out the customers face measurements be the first step when purchasing glasses?that way I wouldnt have to jump through hoops trying on loads of glasses that dont fit. I dont understand how staff dont know to do this up front. Its essential for first time glass wearers like myself.Same day glasses is a gimmick as well. If your machine is down dont have advertisement on the building that states otherwise.

We learned that Eyeglass World did same day glasses, which was an absolute life saver as we are leaving on vacation in a few days.The staff at Eyeglass World was so kind and thoughtful to my daughter. This was my second time getting glasses here and I know why. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I mostly dealt with Liz and Josh. They gave me their honest opinions on which glasses looked or didn’t look good. I appreciated their input as I was there alone. Their selection is great because they have frames for every budget. Bonus is that they’re open on Sundays!

This was the first time I could get glasses in a day. I stopped down the road at a competitor and they couldnt help me. I called here and talked to Tony. He said they could fulfill my order the same day. He was right. They carried polycarbonate lenses in stock. I was able to pick out 2 pair of frames and they had my order done that afternoon. When Tony realized there was a problem with my prescription (from my doctor), they fixed them the next day and mailed them to me for free. He was very nice and accommodating. Tony even remembered to change out the nose pads for me due to my allergies. I will definitely be back next year if I need new glasses.

While they were all nice to me, they made me feel weird about getting glasses. I have had them before and lost them. Prescription wasn’t crazy, but it is hard to focus while driving and reading. So I was told to get glasses. I don’t know. I just now feel stupid, even though the glasses I had before help a lot.

My experience this past Summer was FANTASTIC from being greeted at the door to the Sales Associate to Management! I brought my own frames in and they created new lenses and re-lensed my frames, no questions asked nor was I pressured to buy new frames. I was skeptical about coming here until I saw the 3-5 star reviews from other customers. I pay no attention to those who give bad reviews leaving 1 or 2 stars. Especially when they have less than 20 reviews.

Well, I was thrilled that I could get lenses the same day. My prescription had changed enough that I really needed that. However, I was really shocked when I picked them up that there was no fitting of the frames to my head, just here you go and thats that. I have never had that happen before. What was certainly going to be a 5 star rating is a 3 because I will need to go find a place to fit my frames now. Very odd. EDIT: went back and get them fitted properly. went smooth, so i raised it to 4 stars

Awesome experience. I was immediately greeted at the door and helped immediately. My paperwork was brief and the appointment was pretty quick and painless. I was being fitted for contacts if which I have not wore in a long time. After a day I had problems with one eye so I stopped back and the problem was addressed immediately. The contacts are extremely comfortable and I can see just as good with them as my glasses. I also got a couple pair of glasses that are pretty dope but my contacts are working out so good they might not ever be worn. The staff wAs patient and the guy that checked me out and did the final measurements had me cracking up. Great job eyeglass world

I got my exam and purchased 2 pairs of contacts and a years supply of monthly contacts. The glasses were special order but came faster than I expected. Unfortunately I was given the wrong contacts, I was expecting to have to argue with the staff to get the right ones but they quickly confirmed I had been given the wrong ones and made sure I got the right ones right away. Very happy with the staff and their great customer service. I recommend eyeglass world for glasses and contacts.

Every step of the process was great here. I lost my glasses while on vacation and was recommended eyeglass world because they have a lab on site. I also then realized my prescription was outdated by one month. From being greeted at the front desk, getting an immediate appointment (not always a guarantee), a good selection of frames to an overall great value, I was completely satisfied with the people service and price.

My fiance had an appointment at 9:30am on Saturday, and everything was great until he went to purchase his glasses and they could find him on his own insurance. I am still here and its been and hour and a half and we have both of our small children with us, because last time we came and used the same insurance it only took 30 minutes. I do not recommend this place for any one.

I had a glasses-related emergency when the pup Im dog-sitting ate mine. I spent a week lamenting about price and style and finally made it into the store on a Monday on my lunch break. Brandon helped me immediately and even pulled the frames I ultimately decided on after twenty minutes of trying on basically every pair in the store. He helped me figure out the best value with my insurance coverage and made the whole experience delightful. I ended up getting a 90-day supply of contacts and these fabulous frames, and I walked OUT THE DOOR with them by the end of my lunch break. That SAME DAY. I was prepared to wait at least a week, and it was such a nice surprise to be able to go back to work with my vision back to 100. Thanks, Brandon (and whoever cut my lenses so quickly and efficiently!) I am telling all my friends where to go from now on.

Im nearly 30 and Ive been going to this location since I was 19 and just this last time when I purchased glasses was the product poor. Customer service hasnt changed since Ive been here and they treated my wife great when she went in for glasses.Im going back AGAIN to get my frames re wired for the lenses. Ive lost how many times Ive had to return to get this done, but they always fix it and are nice.

People here are all nice, I just wish it didnt feel so commission-based. Owners would do well to invest in training so that their staff can be more upfront with the options they offer and explain the customers choices.

My experience with this company was very unsatisfactory. I had to return the frames once and after five times going to get an adjustment I attempted to get my $779 back for both pairs of glasses. It was almost two months from my initial appointment.The glasses are still crooked on my face even after the fella heated the frame and curved them in which makes them appear to be safety glasses thus affecting my vision.They will do nothing for me.Very poor customer service. Once your 30 days are up you are done.

Overpriced and don’t deliver. Messed up my glasses twice then gave me a few dollars back for my inconvenience. I’m really nauseated by how much I spent (477) for two pair that should have been same day but took over a week. Wrong lenses twice and wrong prescription once.

Ive been a customer for over 4 years. Ive gotten really good service from them. The docs are great and you cant beat their prices for contact exams.Ive never purchased glasses, but for contacts, you can not beat their prices.

Horrible experience!!! Never called when my glasses were ready. High astigmatism correction. Unable to adjust. Took frame elsewhere for 2 nd opinion. Frame is trashed, and scratched. Hinge is broke and frame was adjusted without tools, so now no one else will touch. Nose pieces bent so much on verge of breaking off. Not unusable and definitely not wearable, caused a massive headache trying to correct. Eye has finally stopped twitching. Have to make another trip to return and get benefits reinstated!!! The staff seemed to have no idea about how to properly fit eyewear. I will be letting District Manager and corporate know about this. I have worn glasses with astigmatism for almost 50 years so I know they arent supposed to make you puke. Store wanted me try to see if nausia passed because he knew he broke the frame.

I made an appointment for 12:30, called an hour before because I couldn’t make it and had it scheduled for 3:00 that same day. When I arrived I was told that they couldn’t find my name or whatnot. And than they proceeded to ask me if I wanted to make another appointment for another day, I was pissed off to the max and my facial didn’t move once the entire time the lady was talking to me. She was very kind but how annoying is it to come somewhere only to have to go back home because an employee didn’t wanna write your appointment down. I will NOT be coming back. And I suggest you don’t

Terrible customer service. They told me if my glasses broke I could get them repaired free of charge. When I called to verify that was the case the story changed, nor was I offered a discount on a new pair. Then the personnel hung up on me. You can find the glasses cheaper online! And without the rude office staff. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

I came here today no one greeted me when I walked in they were kind of rude didnt acknowlege that I was there. I was told yesterday when I called that it would be $23 even though they didnt par with my insurance that they would be the best place to go cause they could give me everything I needed for $23 which was a lie it came out $45.

I came here a few years ago and had great service, great frames and no complaints! i was long over due for a new set of frames and decided to go back. Everything went well until i received my new frames and started having major eye issues. My right eye started getting blurry so i thought it was because of my new prescription so i called and told them my issue and went in to get checked by the opthamologist and i was told by kristi that it was probably because of allergies or weather change. For my eye to get blurry and have extremely bad headaches i knew that was not issue but She recommended eye drops so i got some. The day after my eye got worse so i made an appointment to see the opthamologist and he was NO help! I made the appointment requesting an eye exam and all he did was tell me that my eye problem made NO sense and did not care to check my eye any further and The Only solution he had was to put back my old prescription which i knew i did not need but accepted to order new lenses to see if that could be the issue. Not only was he no help my lenses were cracked on the inside so they were poorly made for me. After my encounter here i left unpleased with the unproffesionalism they had and had to go to the ER which they found out that my eye pressure was too high and that’s what was causing the blurry vision. Also, one of my lenses after a month of having them cracked very deep on the inside and went back to get it fixed and was helped by kristi again and just did not feel a welcoming vibe. I’m not sure if that’s just how she is but i felt like she did not want to fix my lenses that were cracked but i would like to say that Anastasia was amazing. She was the ONLY employee who seemed to care about my eye issue and my glasses being cracked on the inside. But after these encounters with kristi and the opthalomigist here i will not be coming back there again which is sad because i was a fan of the frames there at eyeglass world.

I was treated very disrespectful and now I have my glasses to pick up and they want to hand them threw the door without adjusting them to my face . I will ever buy from them again !!!

The people are friendly enough, but my husbands glasses have broken three times in the last few weeks, frame arms and now the nose piece. .this product must be extremely poor. The expense and time coming back isnt worth the savings.

We brought my boyfriends glasses to get repaired at this location at the end of last month. The tiny screw that holds the frame was rusted and broken, hes had them for a little over a year now. After we explained the problem we waited around for 35 mins, while some one tried to fix them, having to be somewhere else before it closed, my boyfriend spoke up and asked how long it would be because we can come back. After talking to the repairman a woman came back to say it might take awhile but said they should be ready tomorrow. So we left. Luckily I called before we went back the next day. A woman answered, and I told her his information, left me on the phone for 5 mins and the most she could say was their not fixed yet BUT we can come and pick them up if wed like! Pick them up??? I said but their not fixed, why would I want them? Their no good to him. I was flabbergasted. She gave me one other option and that was to buy a new pair. I declined and gave my cell number and told her to call ME when there ready for pick up. Needless to say we still have not received a call. I think they wait around for customers to call them. Maybe its too early to expect them to be done but it upsets me that no one has called and told us ANY progress.While we were in there waiting the first day, we over hear a woman ask about her contacts that were supposedly ready for pick up. So she gives them her name and they look her up, the employee says, they are not ready. The customer argues and says, I called and they said they were ready for pick up. So the manager overhears this and steps in and after finding out who took her call, the employee says No, I said they WERENT ready. The customer seems confused and slightly upset. She says When will they be ready then because its been since November. IM THINKING NOVEMBER ! We shouldve knew something was no good at this place after over hearing that debate. They have horrible customer service at this place, and leave you on hold for 15 mins (the time I waited when I first called to bring them in) I will let readers know how it goes. Luckily he has a second pair!!

I have been ordering same-prescription contacts from this Eyeglass World for four years now and cant believe how badly I was treated the last time I was in there. After being persuaded into purchasing a three month supply of their house brand contacts (whatever they are) and losing all but ONE of them in two weeks, I decided to just go back and order my usual brand (one of them even went rogue and dissapeared into the back of my eyeball, gross).Okay fine, I got talked into buying a crappy product and that was that. I didnt even come in looking for a refund or discount or anything, for the ONE remaining contact lense I was able to keep from falling out all the time. All I wanted was to order another three month supply of my usual name brand and chalk it up to bad product.AFTER they happily took my money for ordering my normal brand, I wanted to buy a box of whatever they had in my prescription to get me by in the interim. Pretty reasonable, right? The lady at the counter said that while I had A) been a documented customer of theirs for years and B) just ordered a new three month supply 5 MINUTES AGO, she wouldnt sell me a spare box because my eye exam was overdue by a couple of days. Instead of doing what any one else EVER would do and scheduling me for another eye appointment before selling me the requested lenses (have you ever tried making it through the day with only one contact? My head hurt pretty bad already), or even taking one look at my record and seeing that my PRESCRIPTION HAS NEVER CHANGED in four years anyway, she refused to sell me a box of contacts to hold me over until my new ones arrived.That doesnt make any sense. Instead of trying to work with me and come up with a solution (all this after Id paid for and had an eye exam when I ordered crappy-house-brands but nothing came up on my record) or even properly explaining whatever bass-ackwards policy forbade her from selling me a box of contacts without aparantly several up-to-date eye exams, she just told me that she couldnt help me, and even refused to tell me her managers name when I went to yell at someone else.Thats just bad business. Save yourself a headache and go anywhere else, Eyeglass World has crappy products, and even worse customer service.

Spent over an hour waiting to be taken care of. They had to wait for my prescription to be faxed over so they told me they would call later when they got it to complete the order. Never called. Next day I called them and they had lost the order - was told after being on hold 30 minutes that we would have to come back to pick out frames again. Told them they lost my business.
