I was that rare downgrade guy. I purchased a new m1 macbook pro touch bar blah blah blah to replace my broken 2015 (that ran flawlessly for years)and after 2 months of trying to adapt, I wished I had just fixed the old screen, no ports on a new mac??? Come’ on man. Im old I need ports. So these guys hooked me up with exactly what I wanted. I asked for more memory and a older os and it was no problem. I am a happy customer. Should of started here instead of buying new, I wasn’t ready for a portless world but maybe you are.

Cracked the screen on my IPad and went to Best Buy; they said $600 plus 3 weeks as they send it out to Louisville which takes 3 weeks. I brought in my MacBook Pro and I just installed a hard drive and needed software. Within an hour it was done. I had other issues with my machine and had to have the serial number put back onto the logic board. I called and then returned to the store and they installed the software again on my MacBook Pro at no charge. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are really good. The Affordable iStore is amazing! They were so helpful. I had an issue where I lost all the data on my flash drive, which was entirely my fault. My professor told me to go here and I am so happy he did. I spent about an hour here and they used their recovery system to get the files off of my flash drive, and even provided me with a flash drive to transfer the files onto until I could get them back onto my computer. Trent helped me through the entire process and explained a lot of what was happening and why I lost the files. On top of it, they did all of this at no charge! As a struggling college student, that in itself was amazing and so considerate. I will definitely be a returning customer here, they are wonderful! I was extremely happy with the service I received at Affordable iStore. I had been told by the Apple Store that there was nothing they could do for my computer, and that if any outside retailers could, it would be extremely expensive. I recently wanted my older mac updated with as new an operating system that it could go as well as the internal hard drive upgraded. What a wonderfully efficient experience! I scheduled an appointment online for my iPhone screen replacement, dropped off my phone, sat down for some lunch nearby, came back and my phone was ready.We’re all busy and repairing a cracked phone screen tends to stay low on the priority list. The friendly staff was very helpful and made this process really easy and cost effective.Also, their collection of refurbished Mac computers and products was great.

Ive used them for the past few years. Never have to wait long for service. Last time, they fixed up a couple older Macs for me, and gave some good tips on what to do with older equipment (grandkids!). They also just gave me a glass protector for my new iPhone, free of charge. I called later and said, hey you forgot to charge me for it. They replied it was a gift!

These folks are amazing, especially this one guy whose name Ive unfortunately forgotten (it was over a year ago that I went to them, and I simply didnt get around to writing the review because Im a flighty person--definitely not because they werent *that* awesome, because they were). I came in with a bad HDD, and that one guy managed to work all sorts of magic to recover my data, after many hours and attempts. No one else was able to make it happen.

Service was over the top.. Got us up and going and went the extra mile to make sure that everything in our business was working properly. Thank you for the good service I received for my Macbook. I brought it in last week and was told by Shawn that they would look at it and see what they could do as it was not turning on. He called me within a couple of days and told me what was found and that it needed a new top case. Unfortunately it was not the most inexpensive fix, but it was definitely a lot less than getting a whole new computer which I was fearing was going to be the case. I came in today to pick it up and was helped by Jeremy. I brought it home right away and it turned on right away and I have no issues with it thus far. Very happy with my experience with this store. I spilled water on my macbook air and it died immediately. Went into the store and told the worker (maybe the manager or owner, tall white male in 50s or 60s) and he told me the steps that I should do myself to the computer before I bring it in for repair. He really was sincere and did not try to influence me to hand over my laptop to them to fix if it was not needed or I could do the fix myself. Long story short, I took his advice and followed his steps... and what do ya know... it started working perfectly fine! Would highly recommend.

Was sick of paying $120+ to get my phone screen fixed at the official Apple Store, so I checked this place out. I was a little suspicious of the large number of good reviews and how quiet/small it looked when I arrived, but I walked in and met Shawn. He took one look, said it would be $50 and an hour, and I left and came back in an hour. When I walked back in, he showed me that the front speaker/camera assembly got crushed when he was going in, and since he broke it hed replace that free as well. Took 5 more minutes, and I was walking out with a fully functioning iPhone. Very positive experience, Shawn definitely knew what he was doing (as I, a CS student, had tried and failed to make the repair myself), and I will be taking all my Apple-related issues here as long as Im in West Michigan.

A very good experience (aside from losing all my information, which was nothing they had any control over).

I had them replace my phone screen, less than 2 months later the screen was peeling away from my phone. I contacted them and they offered to fix it but when I brought it in I got horrible service. They estimated an hour for a fix time, but I figured itd take a little longer since there was someone ahead of me. I came back 2 hours later and they hadnt even started on my phone and the guy working blamed me for not calling them before I came in, when I had told him I didnt have any other phone to contact them with. It took them over 3 hours to fix my phone, and ended up having to replace the whole screen, which wouldve been fine if I hadnt had a $40 screen protector on my old one that was nontransferable. They refused to refund me for that even though it was their defective product that broke. They also refused to restart the warranty for the screen so now when their product is defective again Ill have to pay for it, but Ill definitely be paying somewhere else.UPDATE: After posting this the owner called me and apologized profusely. He has reinstated the warranty, and extended it as well as is reimbursing me for the screen protector. While none of this should have happened in the first place, him calling me personally and fixing all of the issues has absolutely improved my opinion of their business.
