Amazing customer service, employees real want the best for you and not selfish what so ever trying to get you to buy more expensive products 100% honest. Don’t recommend this place at all, you can find better stores with better customer service. They keep changing their words don’t trust what they saying. This is my story. I got remote starter from this store and they told me a type of remote starter is noticing your engine is running and your car will he like while engine is running. Day after that I found it is not. With that remote starter you can just lock an unlocked your car. As a college student i was so clear to them that I am on my budget and so as long this remote start notice me my engine is running and door is locked I’m good with l, i payed $480 plus +60 5yr warranty. When I find out this starter doesn’t notice me engine is not running i let them know they installed the wrong one, they’re offered me if I pay $100 extra they put the fancier model that has monitors and many features that I really don’t need but i was ok as long it noticed me I’m ok. Day after that manager said I don’t know who told you you can switch your starter to better one with pay $100 for doing that you should pay $380 plus installation against which is I already did for my remote starter. I ended up return whole device and they will charge my $50 for uninstalling.

Item not available due to shipping issues overseas, computer chip crisis...device not available. etc.Mickey Schorr now, Dan is the man. I recently purchased a used Subaru Forrester and had a set budget for a remote car starter. When I went in, Kevin suggested a remote/alarm system that was above my budget. I was determined to stick with my budget and Kevin patiently explained the options within my budget. None of them was what I wanted. I then asked about the differences between what he had suggested and the other options. I was sold on what he suggested in the first place and it has been worth every penny! It was absolutely the right choice. I ended up coming back the next day because something was making noise when the heat was on. It turned out that a mask had gotten sucked into the heating fan from the glove box! They knew the issue wasnt theirs when I first brought it in, but they still looked into it and were able to get the mask out for me. Awesome staff, above and beyond!

They have good product, but horrible customer service and attitude. Go in there to get a quote on a purchase and install. Not only did the man act totally uninterested, but attempted to argue with me on the size of the subs that fit in my vehicle when it clearly states the factory speakers were the size I was trying to purchase. Then when I asked about the quote he ignored me for a moment until I asked him again to get a I dont know, dont want to do anything today anyway. I recommend ANYWHERE but here!

Shoddy work... Used to be loyal, to many mistakes though. Brand new focus ST they tore the main wiring harness when they routed wires. Next car I brought them the install was ANYTHING BUT professional. Wires everywhere, clippings left all over. An absolute mess!

I bought an older vehicle with a after market remote and alarm system, it kept going off without the Python alarm/starter fob, Kevin showed me how to disable it so other key fobs would work. They also insured me that if the system were to ever fail, they could gut and remove the entire alarm system for a very reasonable price. Thanks Kevin for taking the time.

Truth-be-told, Mickey Shorr was not my first choice. Due to some of the reviews I read I thought I would have a better chance with Extreme Audio. However, I found the staff at Extreme Audio to be a little condescending. I had purchased a new stereo from Amazon and wanted them to install it. They quoted me over $500. I passed and decided that I would take my chances with Mickey Shorr. I am glad I did. Aaron and Matt were very kind and helpful and -- lets be honest -- they quoted me $200 LESS than Extreme Audio. So I accepted their service and the stereo was installed. The installation was good. I am very satisfied with the service I received. I post this to aid others who may be on the fence, as I was, about choosing Mickey Shorr

I called about an issue with an amplifier and was asked to bring my car in and they would be happy to help me. Aaron was great I had and issue with my speaker and he told me to come back the next day the issue was fixed. Ruben was very unprofessional talking about Aaron with other shop members and he also complained about having a day off the whole time he worked on my vehicle, hope life gets better for you Ruben.

Definitely would recommend this place. My display in my 06 Fusion had been burnt out for at least a year and wanted to get a new radio. Got pricing at a few places and Mickey Shorr still had the better price overall. Came in on a Friday afternoon for a quote and they were extremely helpful. Asked what my budget was and what I was interested in getting and they definitely stayed within my budget, even with the install cost. After seeing the options, the pricing and the amount of time it took to install, I pulled the trigger and got a new radio. They did a FANTASTIC job and it looks so beautiful in my car - a lot better than the one it came with! Again, would definitely recommend!

I am giving a one star because I cant give a zero.I will no recommend this place at all. Since I had the alarm system installed my car has nothing but problems. Sometimes it will not start. It drains the battery. This is the 3 battery I am replacing aside from recharging all because the system keeps on even whe car is completely off.They messed up my doors from the inside handles.This was a good running vehicle until this system was installed.A horrible experience!!!

Car starter works great. I called the shop ahead of time and asked them about pricing and if I needed an extra key and such which they said I did not. When my wife got it installed they told her it would cost essentially an extra $100 worth of equipment to install it with a single key instead of 2. If I had been told this over the phone I would have had another key made since the people we bought the car from only had one key.

These guys have absolutely no idea what theyre doing. Everything they do they just guess at it. I would not bring your vehicle to this place at all. I brought my Mercedes in and ask them about installing a radio that would connect to the auxiliary connection in my vehicle. And the guy behind the counter was adamant that the Mercedes did not have an auxiliary input. I brought it down the road to extreme car audio and within 30 seconds of the guy coming out to the car he was testing the auxiliary connection with his cell phone that was in the glove compartment. These guys could have scored a huge sale off of me especially since a week prior I reached out to them to talk about and tell them exactly what I had and they said to bring it in to that location. Whatever you do avoid this business because they are shot in the dark people that have no clue what they are talking about and they try to sound like experts

Did such a good job I had to write a reviewI recently had work done here and I couldnt be more pleased with my sound system. I came in with quite the project with needing an amp and sub hookup, with a sub literally taking up all of my tiny car trunk space as well as having a receiver replacement. Something that would of taken me all day took these guys 3hrs and they had my stereo hitting hard with a clean install. They also guided me to which amp would pair up best with my sub and the amp I already had and what would work well with the new reciever. Definitely would recommend these guys if youre going to invest into your car stereo, youll have to get there early as they are a busy place but its 100% worth it!

Couldnt have gotten a better deal. I got a car starter installed here for around $260 the exact same starter at best buy was around $600!! the guys here are friendly enough and seem knowledgeable about all of their products. I just wish you could set an appointment because theyre very busy during the winter

This was a bad experience, I recieved an automatic car starter for christmas. I felt very uncomfortable from the time I entered the store, until the time I left. The employees were rude and had horrible customer service, which seems to be a big part of their job. Between the dirty looks and the snarky comments, I felt uncomfortable. If you dont like your job, find something else to do. I had the starter installed, but I wont be back.

The worst!!I called to get pricing and was told they can’t do that over the phone even though I had a model number, brand, and description. Went into the store and they still did not know anything about many of the products THEY sold. The person I spoke to was very rude and did not even want to give me a break down of the quote I received.Save yourself the time and go somewhere that appreciates your business!

The guys here were pretty awesome. James didnt try to sell us something we didnt need, and got us exactly what we wanted. They were all very friendly and professional.

The installed the remote start for my car. No issues with it and no damage from the installation. They are fantastic and fast.

Back in November of 2018, I had Mickey Shorr do a Subwoofer install on my 2014 Honda Accord. I waited an understandable 3 1/2 hours for this job to be done, but as soon as they handed me the keys back to my car, I got in it and right as I turned my car on the subwoofer would blast for about 5-10 seconds before shutting off and working how it should. I didnt have time to wait there any longer because they took much longer on the install than what they estimated. Because this place is a first come first serve, having a full-time job made it very difficult to come back. I did some forum reading and found out that several people were having the same issue. The fix was very simple I just didnt have the tools necessary to complete it. So after a few months (2 days ago) I went into Mickey Shorr, told them the issue started back when they installed it, I told them exactly what the issue was and what needed to be done to fix it. They told me No problem, it is a simple fix $42 out the door. I thought that was pushing it because the fix was so simple. All that needed to be done was unplugging to microphones in the, one above the dash, and one above the headliner just above the rear seats. 2 pins are holding up the headliner to access it. Anyway, I gave them my card and paid for them to complete the fix. About an hour later, they came in from the garage and said they had good news and bad news. The good news was that they figured out the issue, and the bad news was that it would cost $35 to fix it. Now, in my head, I was thinking this would be 7 dollars cheaper than what they originally said. But no, they wanted to add $35 on top of the $42. So I asked what I would be spending the $42 on. They said A garage check and troubleshooting. Now, these are the things I found funny: #1, they never once mentioned anything about a garage check, and #2, they said they were using the $42 to go towards troubleshooting when I already told them the exact issue. I didnt have the time to have them fix the issue nor did I care to give them more money for such a simple fix. So I left. I sat at my works parking lot, grabbed a screwdriver and fix the issue in 5-10 minutes without damaging anything. So then I called them and asked for a refund on my original $42 because it was illogical for them to have the right to take my money for absolutely no reason and then lie about it going towards troubleshooting when I already told them the issue. They refused and started using excuses about it being out of warranty from my November 2018 repair when all I was talking about was the refund for the $42 I gave them for no reason 2 days ago. I have now contacted my bank and disputed with them what my issue was, and they are investigating the situation. I DO NOT recommend Mickey Shorr because I feel they have taken advantage of me and are refusing to cooperate.

This place is a joke! All I wanted was a remote car starter but what I found was a bunch of twenty-something boys pretending to work but spending more time visiting and playing with car stereos. I should have known something was wrong when I walked in the door and some guy was yelling that the black car should have been third and it was his turn. When you arrive, they sell you the product AND charge for installation even though they dont have time to install it today. There are no appointments! How do you know when they will grace you with their skill and expertise? Well... They will call you. Basically you are paying a premium to be on call to a bunch of boys. Thats bad enough but then they forget to call you for 3 days because they are so busy.The return process is painful and long since none of them have computer access to process a return. It must be that their manager thinks of them as children too or does not trust them. So they call their district manager, which I assume is an actual adult. This person has them try to save the sale. This is another painful process, almost as bad a buying a used car. Finally after three days, youre back exactly where you started. Bottom line... Dont go!

This is the absolute worst place to get your car stereo. The service is so bad the manager dont even know whats going on. The sales people try to sell you stereos that cost way more then most places and a warranty thats not worth it because there help have no clue what their doing. Do yourself a huge favor and go anywhere else.l you will at least have passed up the mess of problems.

Brought my own deck with all the materials. They told me over the phone that it was going to be 50. I come in and they start charging me for parts. I show them all the parts they try to charge me for and the manager says this is what we charge for labor. I tell him, clearly you told me thats what the parts were going to cost. He goes down to $110 and does a terrible wiring job and I had to get it removed and reinstalled elsewhere. Best part is they charged me to fix what they caused.

Just had a Pioneer stereo installed in a 2009 Fusion from this location and they did an awesome job and it was finished in about 1 hour. This location is a first come first served and takes no appointments so its strongly recommended that you get there 1 hour before opening and stand in line to get your spot. The staff has a hard job with the fact that they have to turn folks away when they have a full schedule. Give them a break if you get there and they are busy and you cant get your product installed that day! Just show up earlier the next time! Great friendly service and professional install. Thanks!
