Ryan and Hart was great. A fairly standard party store but they had soju for sale! The owner is also very nice and friendly.

A hidden gem. One of the better beer selections in town, and certainly the best in this area. Run by some very nice people as well.

Mr. Lee and Jason (the only two Ive had the pleasure of interacting with so far) are great. Always willing to chat and offer good suggestions. Theyre a smaller place, so they dont always have what Im looking for, but their barrel-aged section of beers usually has something pretty interesting, and they run great specials on beer all the time. Its no wonder this place has lasted for decades.

Tucked away in the small Grand Rapids neighborhood of Alger Heights is this gem of a party store. Being a small (emphasis on the small) beer nerd and lover of bourbon I am always able to find something I love or something very interesting that I have never had before. The employees are always kind and helpful and the shelves are always stocked with you want, what you need and what you werent even ready to buy.

Great place to get beer, wine and liquor

Love them. Mr Lee owns it and rocks the day. Comic book guy and his sidekicks rock the evening hours. Lots of craft beer. Walk in cooler. Ask about anything they know. Kegs 24 hours in advance.

This is a great neighborhood bottle shop. They stock an outstanding selection of craft beer. This past weekend they hid cellar aged bottles around the shop for customers to find! The staff is extremely helpful if youre not sure what youre looking for.

Good selection, high prices.....bonus star for carrying a few flavors of JONES SODA. I recommend going to ALGER QUICK STOP which is 3 businesses to the north along Eastern avenue. Good enough, though, for what you want when you go to a Liquor store

Great neighborhood beer and snack store,The variety of small cigars is wonderful nicely displayed in a glass case, a walk in beer cave full of a variety of regular shelf beers all the way to the new brews, build your own 6 pack with a large variety of beers to choose from and they have wine as well a whole aisle for it non chilled they have snacks and they are the good ones mixed with amazing knowledgeable staff to help you find what you need quickly, one stop shop with a rear entrance with plenty of parking, also sell ping pong balls and cups. Favorite place for years and hopefully more to come

Great beer store and even better, a great Michigan beer store. The owner has made great strides in the last couple years to bring more and more Michigan beer to the shelves. The walk in cooler is packed with not only Michigan beer but craft beer from across the US.

Its great to have such a nice beer selection right in Alger Heights. It would definitely be nice to have a larger store, but they cram a lot of good options in. The staff is always helpful and generally pretty knowledgeable about their offerings.

This is one of my favorite local places to find beer wine or liquor the staff are always attentive and helpful its usually not too busy has access from the front or the rear of the building and is smack dab in the middle of Alger Heights. this place gets five stars

This place has been here forever it was here in the seventies when I was growing up ...across the street was Boorsma grocery store & Ace Hardware and the Dime Store & a barber shop & Jurgens & Holtvluwer clothing ..Ryan & Hart & Ace is about the only thing that hasnt changed since then..is there still a Ryan or a Hart owner ?
