Village MotorSports has been incredible every time I have needed something. I bought my Kawasaki Ninja from them this Spring and I love it! I had all of its maintenance done by them as well and they were very thorough which is a great peace of mind. Unfortunately my son crashed it but they were able to repair it for me. I bought all of my riding gear here with their assistance with fitment and what was right for me... as well as Snowmobile riding gear for my sons that race in the winter. Everyone here is kind and friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend Village MotorSports for your Power Sports needs! They never disappoint.

He was very helpful as I was looking to purchase a used bike. (Ive only bought new in the past.)Im a former auto tech, so I appreciated the time they put into prepping the bike and ensuring it was in excellent order for my initial test drive. This was very important to me.Furthermore, the patient explanations regarding some modifications the previous owner had made, along with other features of the bike, were well informed. (exactly why I like talking with the service dept!)Decision made, the sales team managed all the paperwork efficiently.Title and plate arrived in the mail and which means they delivered on all of my expectations.The result, I am the proud new owner of a great looking Kawasaki Versys, and I am confident that it will be reliable for a long time.

When appointments for service work are set up here they are for when the service department expects your bike to show up, not for them to actually begin work on it. My Goldwing was in for a recall repair that has not yet been completed on this motorcycle (recall started over 5 years ago), and there are no ride-ability issues. My Goldwing sat for nearly 2 weeks before I decided to go elsewhere to have the work done. I was able to find a dealership that schedules same-day appointments as the work they are doing. Maybe other vehicle types have better luck with scheduling.After nearly 2 weeks after drop-off, at 9am I picked up the Goldwing since I had not heard anything from them. It was in an uncovered area when I picked it up. I do not know how long it had been sitting like that, but there was condensation and leaves (from a nearby tree) on the seat. This facility has covered areas which had other motorcycles which had space in them.

Great buying experience!!!Sent a email Talked to Jason over Email, was never nice and informative. Got an amazing deal vie email. Walked in the next day Jason unfortunately wasnt there, however Mike was there. He was very friendly, knew who I was, and made the process exceptional. The finance manager was perfect. Talk about going above and beyond, he jumped in the back of my truck and made sure my new scooters wouldnt move!!!! Have you ever ever heard of a finance manger do anything but paperwork?Would drive from hours away to get customer service like I did.

I was in this past Saturday morning. I waited in line for the next sales clerk. Once addressed I informed them that I have a helmet and needed his help to match goggles to it as I’ve never done this before didn’t know the first thing about it. He told me there were way to many people in line (there were 3 customers behind me with 3 clerks working) was told to just pull the goggles outta boxes and find a match. Go back get that done. Wait back in line. Get a different clerk this time which barely looked at me, and had the look of irritation on his face. Never said thank you or your welcome to which I thanked him several times. Asked if I wanted a bag for my stuff then got frustrated when my answer was yes please. I’m giving the company over $300 for a few items. I wouldn’t mind a smile. This is why I always go to Fox Power sports. They treat you like family and don’t make you uncomfortable asking for help. It’s been several years since I was last at Village motor sports, and that time was bad too. Thought I would give them another try. I am going to be looking for a quad this summer. Thought I would buy it at Village because they carry Polaris. Not anymore. Bad service every time.

I put money down and got paperwork started for a bike on a Saturday. Had to wait until Monday to finalize because my bank and insurance company were closed for the weekend. I called from my bank on Monday to find out that they had sold out the bike from under me and decided they weren’t going to inform me. Luckily, I didn’t take out the loan before calling. At best this shows several employees are inept at their jobs, at worst it shows dirty sales practices. Needless to say, I will never give this place my business.

Purchased a 2021 RZR. Our first ATV! Mike was super with us! Lots of tips for us newbies! Ian was also great & offered lots of tips!Did not have a great or even good experience in the shop though! Could not get any one to help us with a very first purchase of helmets! When we went to ask the third time a girl very reluctantly helped us & the guy said oh, I forgot in a very snotty attitude filled response.Will definitely go back for sales but need to find a new accessories source!!

Well where do I start, I went to Village with every intention of not getting a new bike but I knew that I needed one. When I got there I was greeted with the most out standing customer service! I got to looking around and was assisted by the sales manager named Duane Klinker. He was more then helpful to answer and help with what ever questions I had to ask, he definitely went way out of his way to make sure I was taken care of! The whole experience was a absolute blast from the second I walked in the door the energy and excitement was definitely there from the whole crew at Village, something that everyone is looking for when purchasing a new toy. And also a huge thanks to the Finance Manger Matt Murray for being just awesome and making sure there were no secrets when it came time to sign paper work just a all around great experience. I 10/10 highly recommend checking out village on Plainfield if your looking to get a new toy. They will definitely make sure you are there top priority. I definitely will be back and won’t be going no where else!!

Im clearly a poser when I come into a place like this because I dont ride a bike yet. Im trying to rebuild a 1976 Yamaha DT175C and when I said I was looking for parts to rebuild the engine the bearded guy always to the right of the counter smirked and looked as if he wanted to laugh. I get it small engine, old bike, and parts are hard to find. Instead of trying to help find parts and interact and ask questions he was lackluster and tired of the situation. I had to point to things that looked like what I needed because Im going for a full rebuild. So Ill be back in to make more unbearable experiences because I was sold just a singular friction plate. If I do remember though motorcycles and dirtbikes use multiple. So well see how it works out.

Great place to go to, but a horrible place to call. They are not that busy but do not answer the phone in sales. (Edited from here forward) It took me 5 calls and 3 emails the day before I was scheduled to pick up a bike to confirm it was ready. I was driving 3 hours to get it without any communication from them 2 weeks after the down payment. The maintenance department was the ONLY department willing to answer the phone and tell me they assembled the bike. She said she would go right to sales and they would call me back. The call back was at 6pm at night. The issue is not the pandemic, it is vacations and people becoming accustom to not working hard because of all the calls they are getting for machines they do not have in stock. Sad they are blaming it on the pandemic.

I stopped by your store today and I was really surprised that during my visit not one person that worked at this location could say hi or may we help you with something. But they were all setting behind there desks watching me look at products in the new product area. So I went outside and walked in the parking lot looking at new product and again no one was willing to give me the time of day. Now I know its monday and maybe they all had bad weekends but it doesnt seem like they want to sell any new products.

Great place to buy parts and new sleds forget about the service department though. They say it’ll be done and when you call asking if it’s done they either don’t answer or call back when leaving a voice mail or when you do get ahold of someone they say they’ll check into it and you never get called back. My family has had multiple instances where they forget to finish plugging wires back in so it doesn’t work when you pick it up, or have actual damage to the unit when picking it up after service was preformed

Brought my 2018General in for service and a recall. The service technician was thorough and found that the aftermarket prop shaft was bad after 3 months. The service technician and manager worked with me to get the part replaced under warranty. It is very nice that theres a place with awesome people willing to help you out and get you back on the trail. Many thanks for all of your help.

Im going to start by saying I purchased my 2020 rzr 1000xp from them. How ever I wouldnt recommend going to there service department for any work on ur machine or insurance quotes. They missed alot of damage on my rzr. Took 4weeks after they did the quote to not respond to emails or phone calls I ended up just picking my machine up and taking it to Leaders RPM in Kalamazoo. Leaders handled everything very professionally and was always in contact with me with any updates. I highly recommend going to anywhere besides village motorsports.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Use to be a long time customer, but not any longer. Ordered new tires for my Harley with them, was quoted $125 for installation with tires. Still kinda pricey, but hey Id rather support local. When I came to pick up my Harley, the woman at the desk told me $270. When I asked why?! she told me because my tires where white walls and I have ape hangers on my Harley. What in gods name does that have to do with changing tires? When I asked to speak to the mechanic or manager, she told me both have went home for the day. I call BS! Called Grand Rapids Harley & Fox motorsports, BOTH gave me waaaaaay lower quotes. Hey Village Motorsports, next time you charge double price check in with the customer first before going ahead with the job.

Amazing variety of good motorcycles, huge variety of nice accessories (although not enough for me and they had to order the helmet I wanted). Also, poor selection of size S in jackets/pants for men. I know the average American isnt small... but that size does exist in most brands, and it would be nice that they could remember that some of their small-ish customers arent kids.

We purchased two Kymco scooters. They are extremely nice and heavy duty. Our sales person didnt pressure us or anything. While a little more than some on line, we know they are put together right and can be serviced locally. The ones on line could possibly be scams. I am leary of buying such items on line since I have been scammed before. We looked locally and wasnt impressed until we came upon Village Motorsports. Check out Jason.

Was told 2 days out for service. Took over 2weeks to just diagnose. My limit was $600 to spend on unit. Was told estimate is $651 agreed if fix the problem. Bill is $1200. They got down to almost $900. Anyways I paid over $700. Got sled home ran worse. Only ran it less then 2 miles.They put a capacitor in it said thatd fix problem. Said be good now.Took to babbits they said 5 codes are bad. Capacitor has nothing to do with not running f peak rpms. One cylinder is 115 and other is 140. Village also said they did compression check. Not happy

After the sales Brad (sales manager) took it upon himself to make sure the bikes made it to my house after I was 4 hrs late to purchase them on a Friday to make sure my boys had some fun for weekend! I live 3 miles away and he personally drove each of them over after no delivery trucks were available... I went to Village from the East side of the state to learn about snowmobiles that were available and Mike W. waited on me. He was very knowledgeable about snowmobiles and patient. If you are going to Village I recommend that you look up Mike if you are looking for a powersport toy. The guys in the accessories department were also really good. They had a large selection of helmets, gloves, coats, bags etc. I would make the two hour trip again to Village to shop.Everyone treated us great.

I am not the most satisfied customer as i had to get their attention for help with bikes. I picked one out late on a Saturday and had to wait till monday for bank to be open witch was understandable. But my problem is after getting approved for loan i set that friday to pick up bike because of my work schedule. But then Thursday night they tell me they inspected the bike and found a safety issue and had to fix it, understandable except that kind of issue should have been found and fixed before the bike was put on showroom floor for sell. Been over a week and still waiting for my bike.

Bought a 2019 KTM Duke from a dealer South of Village MotorSports seeing Village was sold out I get home and found out they did not program the spare key., called Village and made a appointment. Even though I didnt buy the bike from them they made me feel like I did. They programed the key did some updates made all well and stayed late to do it. Also did some shoping well waiting and bought a pair of riding jeans had a fair price on them I go to to pay and they take off 20 percent what a deal. Great place.

I dropped my 04 KTM off on August 14. Talking with the service department, they assured me they would report back within a week. I asked for a tune-up, replacement air filter, spark plug, carburetor clean, and new transmission fluid. I asked they look at the clutch master cylinder as it was not holding pressure. The bike would slip into gear after a few seconds while engaged. I was informed KTM parts can take up to 10 days. As long as there wasnt any unforeseen severe issues, i should still be in good shape.Wednesday (Day 5) i received a call back. Its an older bike and being fairly bike savvy myself, i was prepared for the long list of items they rattled off that needed to be replaced. Since the carb was cleaned not too long ago, i opted to do the TLC work over the winter. They graciously offered to provide a detailed list of items that needed attention. In lieu of this i asked for new trans oil, new air filter, new spark plug, and order the parts for the clutch ASAP.A week later (Day 12) i had not heard back so i phoned the service department twice that day and didnt get an answer. I left a message to call me back with an update.Monday morning (Day 17) after realizing i never heard back i phoned them again but no answer. I tried a few more times over the day and left a message for a status report.The following day i started calling repeatedly leaving multiple messages. If there were issues with the clutch due to extenuating circumstances i needed to know so i could start thinking about contingency plans.Wednesday morning i finally receive a call back. Day 19. They inform me that the clutch did indeed need a new master cylinder. They asked me if they should order the part. The same parts that take 10 days to receive. They also asked if they should order a new filter and spark plug. Now, you can imagine the look on my face upon hearing this. It was 3 days out from my trip. I hung up in full panic mode. For the next hour i called around looking for anyone in a 50 mile radius that might have the part. I found a place that had the part in stock along with a plethora of spark plugs and air filters, as they should.Day 20. Thursday i get a call back and again i state i need to pick up the bike later that day at the latest. They told me it was missing an air filter and that the transmission was empty of fluid. I asked if they could put in new fluid, button up anything loose, and get it ready for pickup at 4pm. They assured me they could. I arrived for pickup. While loading I noticed a bolt on the ground. Sure enough it matched my bike. Upon further inspection I found the screws on the reservoir for the clutch fluid were loose and would have never made the trip home. I left in order to pickup parts needed to salvage the weekend.Day 22. Parts in hand and three weeks after I dropped the bike off I was greeted by a pool of trans fluid on my garage floor. More loose bolts i missed. Ready for a long night I started working through the clutch issue. I found a decent how-to youtube video. I replaced the master cylinder. I was able to get good pressure after flushing the line. I put a new spark plug and bled the rear brake as there was air in the line. It was now after 9:30pm. The final piece was the air filter - easy. After prepping the spare filter, I pulled the housing cover off only to find that the plastic bracket for the filter was missing. It was like a dagger to heart. With everything in the entire country closed until Tuesday I had no other option but to fabricate a custom bracket. After trial and error with a wet sticky air filter as a guide I was finally done.In summary, after nearly 3 weeks of possession I ended up performing the work myself on something I had paid someone else to do. Upon return of the bike I found loose parts, missing bolts, and a missing air filter bracket along with having to clean up a pool of brand-new transmission fluid. Lesson learned. Next time ill find the time to do it myself. FYI the bike ran flawlessly. Anyone need a 04 KTM clutch master cylinder? Ill have an extra...

This dealership was one of my top dealers based on best price and even though not the cheapest, decided to buy my machine here due to the great salesman I encountered. Web site says they are having a liquidation sale that ends on April 30th 2020 and that they are doing sales and service online and I have been in contact with a salesman named Ryan who stopped returning my emails and wont respond to any new ones. So my point being they are having and sale and not selling any vehicles like noted on their website. I did get a quote from Ryan and a cash out the door price so I purchased one from Leaders Marine in Kalamazoo they were more than happy to sell me one.

*update*. I spoke with Jason who was very helpful. He apologized for the lack of internet inquiry response and helped answer my questions. I am working with Jason on purchasing 2 new mini motorcycles. Will update again afterwards.Horrible service! I purchased a quad a few years ago and had good service. My wife and I stood around on the showroom floor looking for assistance but no one even said hi, just ignored us. Then I submit a quote request online because prices are not listed. No response.I called in today and asked for the sales manager and was told he’s too busy.What the hell happened to Village motorsports??? They don’t offer any special pricing so find another dealer!!

Had come into the store, looking for a brake lever for my bike. The lady(which I do not remember her name), not very customer friendly first off. My husband asked her specifically for a brake lever, asked if it was all the same and she rudely said no, ill grab it for you. Got it for him which was very nice, but then got home and it was for a CLUTCH, are you kidding me, one acts like she knows what she is doing, and then give the completely wrong part. So we called, since we drove 1 HOUR to even get the part, and guess what, same lady picks up the phone, she then is gone for like 5 minutes, and comes back and say they do not even have that part !!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me. I then explained my situation and that SHE gave me the wrong part and you want to know what she said, well I do not know what to tell you In my opinion that is horrible customer service. No apologizing for HER mistake. Not offering to make anything better, or that I could even return the part that I DO NOT EVEN NEED. I am VERY disappointed with the service.
