I recently had my dyer repaired, I called on Monday they had someone our Monday afternoon. A part had to be ordered they contacted me within 2 days and returned to install the part. Everyone I dealt with was so nice and very accommodating. I would highly recommend Apex Appliance for your repair needs.

Mark came out to fix my dryer today. Friendly, prompt, and not nearly as expensive as I feared it could be. Repair done quickly and efficiently too! I called this morning when my dryer went out last night. They were actually able to get me an appointment TODAY to see what the issue might be.Turns out the belt broke in my dryer and the repair person had the part in his van. He was able to repair my dryer TODAY too. I just finished drying that last load of laundry I had hanging to dry.Everyone I relied to today was super nice. I absolutely highly recommend calling. Great service and thank-you again for coming out today.

Our dishwasher quit working and having used Apex several years ago, I called them to schedule someone to come out and look at it. They had someone available within two days. James came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, purchased the replacement needed and let us know we would have it in a week. Just as he said, the office called, said the part was in and James was back the next morning to complete the repair.James was wonderful - fully masked, organized and incredibly helpful! We highly recommend Apex!

I had apex out for a repair of my Maytag washer. First of all they showed up late. Their guy was at my house for about 10-15minutes. He then told me that the transmission( commonly called the gearcase) was broken and it would cost $800-$900 to fix. I directly asked him if it was the motor as it was under warranty and he said no. I called another appliance company and it turned out that is was the motor and only cost $96 to fix. They are only interested in getting you $77 quote few.

My stove was leaking gas and several of my burners were burning unevenly. I called Apex and the scheduling receptionist went out of her way to coordinate having a technician sent to my house that very same day (despite their schedule being full until the following week!). Tom arrived less than an hour later and was respectful, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly! I truly felt as though he genuinely cared about my safety. His demeanor was such that, in the short time he was in my home, I felt instantly comfortable with him and did not experience any of the awkwardness that typically occurs when a random repairman is in your house. He cleaned our burners and explained a few very important stove-related facts to me that I am sure will come in handy in the future. Our stove was back in working condition not even twenty minutes after he arrived. I will definitely, definitely, definitely be calling Apex again for any future appliance repairs!

Service tech showed up on time as scheduled and company was responsive. He diagnosed quickly and had parts to repair. Price was a bit higher than expected for a 20 minute fix but I am happy to pay more for great service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible communication not only with me but also within their buisness. Took twice as long to fix than I was promised. Got it back to my house after they fixed it and checked all the seals, 2nd cycle the machine leaked and it filled my kitchen with water. They charged me AGAIN to come out and look at the machine they just serviced, and found nothing wrong. All around a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!DO NOT USE THIS BUISNESS!

I elected to try repair our 10 year old Samsung Dryer myself. It needed a replacement heater element after I failed to keep the dryer vent clear. Innitially, I sent away for the part from Amazon. I chose a part which purported to be a Samsung manufacterer replacement part. It wasnt and was visibly inferior to the orriginal element I had destroyed. I went to Apex and looked at the after market part they had. It compared well in the thickness of the element wire and confirmation of the orriginal Samsung part I was replacing. I asked how they held up. The counter person said that its what their repair techs use and they have held up extreemely well. The price was less than a half of what an actual Samsung replacement would have and has held up just fine for going on to ten months now. Read the reviews this cant be said of the after market Amazon equigvalents. Spend the extra money. Its worth it.

I recently had my first - & likely my last - experience with APEX Appliance Services. Upon scheduling the appointment for my malfunctioning washing machine, I was told it would cost $97 for the service tech appointment. I was told there would only be an additional charge if I needed parts to fix it. Well, to my surprise, I owed an additional $45 before any purchasing of parts to fix the washing machine. Now, I wouldnt be this upset, but I was told something different upon scheduling the appointment. To be honest, I would have scheduled with a different company if I would have known it was going to cost $142 just for the service tech to come at my house. What a rip off. Not to mention, the mess of dirt & water on my floor from his handy work that was left for me to clean up after he left. I was told there was nothing they could do & I should start looking for a new washing machine. Thanks, APEX Appliance - Glad I paid some stranger $142 to tell me the same thing my dad said to me for free. Oh, & leave me with a mess to clean up after his work. Im out the money that could have went towards my new washer, but at least I know who I wont call again to service my appliances in the future.

Mark from Apex Appliance came out to repair my old Maytag dryer. The recommendations from him to put the money into this old equipment based on his knowledge of appliance equipment was greatly appreciated. No one wants to invest money into something that wont last. Love his personality and ability to get right to the heart of the problem. Not having use of a dryer was a huge inconvenience. Apex came out very quickly from the initial call and two days later, after a special motor had to be ordered, we are in business again. And our dryer hasnt run this quite in years. Thanks Mark!

Needed repairs to both an ice-maker and dishwasher. Made a next-day appointment and Tom arrived right on time. Diagnosed both problems very quickly, and explained them thoroughly. Fantastic service, very high recommended. Tom was on-time at the stated time, was very professional and knowledgeable, and was able to resolve the issue with my freezer in no time. Tom came with all the parts needed and even had spare parts in his van and explained the issue and pointed on the problem in laymen terms. He even cleaned up his work area after he was done. Very efficient with his time and the cost for the labor and parts was actually much less than I expected for service calls in todays market. Only used the service call where they quoted a really inflated price to change a valve for a Bosch dishwasher and tried to convince me it would cost 3-4 times that much to replace the dishwasher altogether. A cursory internet search showed that they were just price gouging. Apexs unreasonably high prices were confirmed when I went to pay the service call fee and they tried to raise that as well with a barely plausible explanation. Needless to say, we will not be using them or recommending them to anyone.

I called Apex (for the first time) to come and look at my faulty washer, and I was absolutely DELIGHTED with my experience! The customer service was first rate--the two repair men that came out to my house were cheerful and well-mannered. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable! Worst experience ever.Our refrigerator went out, so we found Apex and called them. Described the problem clearly - compressor working hard, but refrigerator not cooling. Gave exact model number, and were assured that they do work on this brand and model.When technician came he declared that they dont work on sealed systems. Which is basically the whole refrigerator - compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing, freon... Then technician implied that my wife was not capable of describing the problem... When its really their secretary who was not capable of taking in the details of the problem.When I asked to explain what exactly they work on, if they dont work on any of the important parts of refrigerator, and why didnt they tell this little detail before - technician literally run away from the house. Later they send us the bill for the visit. $87. I send back the explanation letter. They send me back bill with $50 fee on top.Stay away. Do not call them for refrigerators. If its not a light bulb - they wont be able to fix it, but sure will charge you for the visit.

I was having a problem with my freezer and called them. Sorry to say they werent my first call, but they were the only ones who could get a technician to look at my freezer the same day. In less than 3 hours since I called, Ron, the technician, was at my house, fixed the problem and was on his way- and I live in Cedar Springs. Excellent customer service and very reasonable. Definitely will be my first call and recommendation to anyone next time.

Over Labor Day weekend, my refrigerator went out. I spent an entire morning troubleshooting the issue. As luck would have it, I wasnt able to get the part (I thought I needed) until Tuesday. I called APEX first thing Tuesday morning and spoke to Mark. They were very busy due to the weekend backlog and would not be able to come look at my refrigerator until Wednesday. Sensing my frustration and recognizing I was more technically skilled than most, Mark walked me through a quick diagnosis,,, Not only did I need a different part than I thought, APEX was out of that part. Mark directed me to where I could get one that day. With part in hand, I had the refrigerator fixed in 45 minutes! So this is my shout out and sincere thank you to Mark for his kindness! APEX goes to the front of my rolodex! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Very rude staff. Put you on hold for at 15 mins only dismiss you and refuse service because they don’t have to worry about finding parking. Even going as far as Interrupting my explanation that there is free parking available. They obviously don’t care about customers. This is my first ever review. I just had to take the time to do it because of how shocking their attitude was.

Rehoboth has used Apex many times in repairing a refrigerator, washer, dryer and stove. As you can see, we keep inviting them back to service our appliances. They have been kind, honest and knowledgable. The repairmen will even take time to visit with the residents. Definitely would recommend them to everyone!!

I used Apex in the past to service basic appliances in apartments that we own. Therefore, when our new Maytag built in oven stopped working, I called them for service.However, when Tom arrived, he did not know which part to replace. He ordered a control ($160.00), a panel ($279.00) and a clock ($295.00). His plan was to replace one at a time to see which new part would correct the problem, when the parts arrived.After thinking about Apex Appliance Inc., at 3535 Plainfield NE, Grand Rapids; lack of knowledge on a new Maytag built in oven. I called A & E Appliance who came with a computer that had the schematic electrical diagram of the Maytag built in oven and replaced a fuse within the oven that had blown.

Worst experience ever. First, we saw their ad in craiglist for a stactable washer and.dry for 399, and we ordered it and confirmed with them it the.model and.price. However, they delivered a nonstactable one to us and refused.to admit it was their fault and wanted to charge deliver fee. We had to upgrade to an high.end model to waive the fee, and they promised to deliver on the coming sunday or monday. However, they didnot keep their promise. Since the washer and dryer is for our rental property, we had to pay our tenant for their loss but Apex appliance did not even feel sorry about. Today, they finally delivered it at 5 pm although they promised to do it at 3pm. During moving it into the house, they didnot have cardboard to protect our hardwood floor and of cause scrached our floor in front of our tenant. But after pointing out the.scraches by our tenant, they shameless denied they made those scratches and.kept saying those new scratches were there before they came. In front of truth, they can still lie. NEVER buy anything from them.
