Everything you need in one spot. If you need only one of a specific kind of bolt, you can purchase one bolt. Make sure you know the price before you take it to the counter however. No need to drive far to bigger competitors to purchase items in bulk packaging. You dont need to walk half way across the building to search for help. Help at Ace is always around and they always make sure if I need any help.

I found the fact that they have pictures if people who dont wear masks on the front door hilarious. The staff are really nice and can help with anything. Its a good hardware store.

First time in this store it’s a little run down, but had what we needed. Staff was nice. And helpful.

Stopped by at 6:55 without knowing they close at 7. I had a list of hardware that I needed and Michael helped me out and picked everything for me. He wasn’t rushed to get off work at all. Very professional man!

They made my set of keys for a semi-truck, great service

I was in earlier today for some carriage bolts, nuts and washers. A young man helped me with everything and I wish I had remembered to get his name for this review. He saved me a lot time and enabled me to finish my project today. The customer service I saw while there was impressive as the staff were all friendly and helpful. Workers are at the ready to help and friendly. But the selection is very limited. I worked at a big box hardware store for many years and if you know what you are looking for you will find a better selection of items but limited customer service. Ace is just the opposite. So pros and cons for both. We went in to get 3 items and walked out with 1. But like i said the staff is friendly and helpful.

The whole staff at this store are friendly and helpful. Dominique,the manager went out of her way to get me what I needed,shes wonderful.The floor staff helped me out twice without hesitation and the cashiers both took time out to make sure I was able to use my rewards with both patience and courtesy.I hope they keep their staff cause it made my shopping easy.

I wanted 3/8 clear tubing and 1/2 clear tubing and recieved 1/4 and 3/8 flat crinked tubing.And neither was 10 ft

Most helpful place Ive ever been too. If the employees are busy helping other customers. The owner will come and personally help you find what your looking for and give you tips about the product. Forget about Hone Depot or lowes. You cant get anyone to help you.

This is the worst experience at Ace I’ve ever had! We waited for 30Mins just to get A bike inner tube for my Daughters bike. The girls at the front desk keep talking and laughing with each other. Every time I asked for help(4 times) it was like I was inconveniencing them. Next time I will go to Home Depot!!!!!!

How can you close your hardware store at 7 in the summer time when it doesnt get dark till 9 people getting off work trying to do their home projects and neighborhood hardware stores close freaking ridiculous.

My daughter doesnt wear a mask for medical reasons. Dallas County mask mandate has exceptions for medical reasons. She went into ACE Hardware in Grand Prairie and ALL of the employees REFUSED to help her because she wasnt wearing mask so she had to find the product she needed without any assistance. We wont be shopping there any more.

Just went to buy a grill. People were nice enough. Since I called ahead to make sure they had the one I wanted, it was at the check out area waiting for me when I got there.

Went in to have several keys made. They were pretty busy and maybe a little shorthanded on people today. I had to wait a little while to get my keys made. Its always a good store.

The employees were very helpful. I had to do a few separate transactions and they were patient and kind. I recommend this Ace Hardware. My only criticism would be that its a little run down and dingy. It could definitely use an update. Clean up and paint would help a lot.

All Ace Hardware stores are supposed to carry Benjamin Moore paint. I drive 20 minutes out of the way to buy the remaining BM paint I needed, and this store didnt carry it.

I go here often as my business is very close.People are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You can also find people if you need anything.Lowes or home Depot is typically cheaper... However, the convenience of being a few blocks away from me, and the customer service you receive (blows Lowes or home Depot out of the water) it is worth the extra couple dollars to me.

Employee working there was very helpful, as soon as I walked in the front door he said welcome to Ace Hardware & asked how I was doing. I fine & how about you. Then asked if I needed any help finding anything & took me straight to the isle I was looking for child locks for drawers & cabinets. Now on another note, prices are a little on the high side but besides that my experience was good.

My dads truck key broke off in his ignition and all the locksmiths that I called told me it would be between $100 - $175 minimum to extract the broken piece.. and an additional $150 for a key that doesnt even have a chip in it, yall this is a key that goes to a 1992 Ford F-150 So we took the ignition switch out ourselves and banged it a couple times on the table and the broken piece came out.We then took it to Grand Prairie Ace Hardware and the Gentleman made my dad a new key for his truck and he was working with a broken key, he didnt even hesitate at the idea, this man saved our day and he didnt even know it. Oh and as for the price well it was only $6.00 because we had an extra key made for just in case. 😊Thank you Grand Prairie Ace Hardware!!

I am very glad to see this Ace Hardware store still to be in Grand Prairie. I went in looking for a copper sheet and they had it. I have visited this location a few times over the last 20 years..I am happy that they still have unique items instead of changing into another big box store that all carry the same items. I can find any kind of screw, bolts, springs, latches, electrical, plumbing, paint, they have many categories and items to choose.

It normally has what Im looking for, and I dont have to buy a box of 50 or 100 if I only need ten. At the same time, they need more experienced personell. Not some kid that doesnt know the difference between a dry-wall screw and a machine bolt.

I live within a half mile of Ace, Several times during emergency situations, the convenience of proximity far outweighs prices. I have never had a problem locating an employee and if they cannot answer my assistance questions, they will find someone who can. They have a lot of items crammed into a relatively small space. It is rare to leave empty handed.

Prices are kinda high, but they do have a lot of stuff thats difficult to find. Always clean in here, and in the 6 years Ive lived around this area, I would say only once or twice did I encounter a nasty employee here, and they were always gone by my next trip. Every other time has been a nice experience.
