I REALLY needed some toasted sesame oil, but decided to do without because I have been trying to only go into the grocery stores 1X per week during this pandemic. However, I noticed Yara Market on the right as I headed home down Lake Ridge Parkway a little north of Camp Wisdom. What a GREAT surprise to go into this tiny Mediterranean/Middle Eastern grocery with a very pleasant owner. I was the only customer at the time and he had a big bottle of hand sanitizer at the check out so it was not nearly as stressful as going into the big grocery stores. It might be tiny, but it is PACKED with necessities, AND an amazing number of Middle Eastern ingredients....many of which are not familiar to me. I DID recognize the freshly baked pastries like Baklava and Date Cookies from a local bakery. In addition to my sesame oil, I snagged a Chicken Shwarma marinade...just because. I will be back to explore this place more thoroughly, and pick up necessities as needed. Highly recommend.

Great middle eastern market in Grand Prairie! The owner is extremely nice, and the place is very clean. Had everything I needed, and always has my favorite Loaker wafers in stock!

Visited Yara for the first time today and Im so happy I did! If youre looking for easy access to Mediterranean/Middle Eastern ingredients, this is your stop. Its a very clean, small store with three aisles packed with goodies. The first aisle is lined on one side with fridges for drinks, meats, cheeses. Theres even phyllo sheets! This aisle also has items for baking (I found instant yeast!), cookies, sweets, Turkish coffee, tea, and a variety of syrups. The middle aisle has all kinds of spices, rice, daal, and canned goods. The last aisle has some bakery items from local DFW bakeries (I bought some baklava and fresh pita bread), as well as a small selection of American supermarket staples (Cheetos!). The gentleman who ran the store (I feel awful for not catching his name) was very sweet and friendly. I signed up for the store rewards program, knowing Ill definitely be back. Cannot recommend enough if you want to save yourself a drive to the middle of Arlington for good Mediterranean/Middle Eastern items.

I went in to pick up the things I wanted and from what I see its an incredibly clean and good store!

The price we were quoted is the price we were charged. That was a big plus with me, I despise places that change the price. The lady was really nice. The missing star is because they didnt call on the day they said they would, and my laptop took longer to fix than expected. But they did fix it, and did a great job
