Seems smaller than most but still found great deals and their outdoor fall stuff is pretty! Lines were fast and efficient. Friendly customer service too!

By far the best upgrade I have seen on this side of Ftw. Very happy to know that a quality grocery chain is still here serving and didnt abandon us in a food desert. Thank u Albertsons. It is really nice too. Lived just looking around at the new look

The prices are much higher but the meat and high-quality so if thats your only store go for it

I went to their bakery to make a country flag cake for the independence day of Pakistan. The bakery associate Victoria did an amazing job in making sure the kind of cake we need for the event. I really appreciate the hard work she does and definitely recommend everyone to go to this place for their cake needs.

The store is clean and well organized. Theyre a bit pricier than other brands, but since theyre the only grocery store in this area, Im sure people are willing to pay more not to have to drive several miles to go elsewhere. Product selection is adequate.

Im not sure if its a result of the pandemic or what but this store sometimes seems to be hanging on by a thread. They have 2 sets of automatic doors, one has been broken for weeks. Yesterday I walked in at 6:45pm and the Deli was CLOSED with lights off. Sometimes they close the Customer Service desk. You need a money order? Too bad! Go somewhere else. I mean, come on, its called Customer Service. A lot of times, just empty places on shelves where items should be. Sad for the neighborhood.

Went in here just pick up a few things for our dinner. We ended up spending 20 minutes in the produce section because my husband couldnt belive how nice it was taken care of. It is by far one of the nicest looking produce sections out of all the grocery stores we shot at. We ended up doing an entire weeks worth of shopping. The deals were great and the staff was friendly!

So I originally had given them 4 stars, but after today I subtracted a star. I needed help at the customer service counter, but when I asked for help the customer service clerk said No one can help you; were both on the registers and that was that. What really ticked me off was her dismissive chuckle as she blew me off. She had 2 customers in her line. There was no give me a minute and Ill be right there or let me call a manager or someone who can assist you. She didnt even ask what I needed. Nor was there even an Im sorry! I work in customer service myself and wouldnt cast a client off or treat them the way I was today. Albertsons need to retrain this person on her customer service skills. (Date: 9/14 @ ~3:45pm)

Although nice and clean their choices are very limited. Their bakery I was told onlyakess fresh bread and rolls when a truck comes which is maybe twice a week. Their Ros were there three days. Not for me I so frustrated, everything I looked for on my list was unavailable or not sold there at all.

Love Albertsons. They are the only place I can find johnny pops.

They did not have an electric cart for me nor for the elderly lady who walked in seconds before me. They werent busy at all. A worker went to check charge on one cart plunged in outside but it was broke down, missing two wheels. I have drop foot in both feet with a fractured left foot in a boot and I had to get shopping cart push it to customer service stand there looking around for about 3 minutes before a cashier showed up heading behind desk then reluctantly asked if I needed assistance. When I asked about electrical carts she shrugged her shoulders and said NO I GUESS NOT Then as I walked away to get in express line ( knowing I wasnt walking to pharmacy section for my vitamins) to pay for mentos gum (to embarrassed to just walk or limp out of store) the manager walked past me in front then behind me and circled around me to the left side before he apologized for not having any scooter carts available but offered me a fold out chair to sit in while I waited my turn in the check out line. Wooow they need to reassess

Very nice store. I liked they way it was laid out. Clean and well stocked. A good shopping experience.

Albertsons has a few good deals but the majority of items are pretty high. Their veggies and fruit selection isnt any larger or fresher quality than any other grocery store. And what they do have is more expensive. Thats just my opinion, but a lot of my friends like Albertons and think the higher prices mean better quality and a cleaner shopping experience. Both my kids worked at this Albertsons as their 1st job so believe me those friends are very, very, wrong. It is no better or worse than other stores. I would much rather shop Kroger but they closed the closest one down. If i just need a few things i will go to Albertsons. But once i get to the check out and get that total i always regret my laziness.

This is the worst store of the entire DFW Albertson/Tom Thumb chain. It is dirty and disorganized plus the staff are clueless about high quality costumer service and professional work practices. The produce area is always infected with bugs, the fruits are stored in the freezer to last longer and when you take home they are spoiled after thawing out. Store looks dirty all over especially from the moment you walk into store...location external areas are thrashy. Maybe spend more time in less dramatic cashiers versus employees that clean, organize and serve costumers with professional courteous service.

Prices are higher here than in other stores, which youd expect quality and quantity, but they often dont have what Im looking for. Theres usually this odor when you first walk in. Im guessing this expensive smelly place puts everyone in there into an unpleasant mood. Its not terrible, but not really a place I want to go. I only go there because its the closest grocery store to me.

Glad I was able to find Prosperity Bank then shop for what I needed.

Love Albertsons! Clean store, for the most part friendly workers, great manager and great deals. Also I love their games such as Monopoly and collecting stickers for pots and pans or dish sets.

I’m giving this Albertsons (Grand Prairie, TX) one star because they’re having a security guard chase people around the store with a mask in his hand if you’re not wearing one. Let me be clear.: 1. Texas reopened a month ago. 2. Before this incident I had walked into this particular Albertsons 5 times in the previous week without incident. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Open during storm uri. Excellent customer service. Long lines due to snow and lack of electricity but they were open. Purchased excellent navel oranges and several non perishable items like toilet paper. Like I said excellent customer service. Cashier was very friendly and nice

The store is very clean and they usually stock everything I need. Ms. Pat, one of the cashiers, is especially friendly. I have been in her line several times and she is always friendly and courteous.

Bought pork chops on june 16th.Package has 2 dates on it june 15 and june 19(can see in picture).Got them out to cook today and the meat is bad and after looking at package it says tom thumb wth!!Thought i was buying good meat but shoulf have known based on looks of the meat there its green,brown,some you can see where they put a another date on it to try and cover original date.(CROOKS).Even had yogart on shelf that dated march its june.Can even smell rotten smell in store.Store is not clean either.Would not shop here.(NASTY).No good stores in G.P the are all gross just like the town!!!

I have been to this Albertsons on multiple occasions and cannot think of a time where I had a pleasant visit. I drove from Arlington, as the other Arlington locations are further for me to drive to. Not only that this store is really old and outdated, the security is very rude, as well as cashiers who simply acted like they hated their job and customers. If that is the case, they can choose to quit their job. They are in no place to let their stress from work or life onto customers. While Tom Thumb and Albertsons are from the same company with similar prices, I prefer going to Tom Thumb, even the one in S Carrier.

Power was out everywhere during snow and ice they had people opening electric slide doors by hand letting people enter and exit .had power to cash registers were taking cards not just cash ..

This store is on my route home from work so I stop by to pick up things we need on the fly. The staff here is nice for the most part. I dont like going to the daily here since they ignore you no matter how you try to get their attention. The cashiers are friendly however and the bakery has nice customer service as well.

Im giving this store 1 star due to the fact that the elderly security guard with gray hair laughed at my wife for wiping down a carrying basket. You could see how he was mocking her. As well a man using oxygen was following us throughout the grocery store cursing at us as he was angry my wife was wearing an American Flag mask. Im ex Vietnam combat vet. If the store cannot protect its customers from people harming them after requesting assistance.. What is a person suppose to do? The man was going to hit me for asking him to back up which Im sure was caught on camera The security guard who did absolutely zero should be fired.

Clean n great service and quality food

I love shopping here especially with the Albertsons app, I get lots of exclusive deals! I have come in a few times during a rush, but this location and staff does very well in handling that so customers don’t wait too long. Their produce, bakery, and meat departments are always fresh. I come here often and I always see that cashier Katherine, very hard worker, and great customer service! The store does very well during the pandemic too. There’s always a sanitation worker at the front and other customers follow social distancing, for the most part. My husband and I have converted this store to our main grocery stop. Thank you Albertsons for being here for us!

I have been going to this albertsons since I moved to GP back on 08. It a great place. I havent had any problems here. pharmacy is outstanding as well.

Great store good prices, many items on sale!

We are lucky to have this Albertsons in our neighborhood. They do have high traffic sometimes, I only go when the parking lot is half full, otherwise it takes ages to checkout. The produce is terrific, and they do a great job of keeping the store tidy. I have found some great deals here, but I do think the prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores. I appreciate the friend staff, and cleanliness.

Nice clean store

Large store. It met a couple of the butchers and they were outstanding but meat selection in the butcher case has been much more limited since covid-19. Good selection of vegetables including organic. I requested they try to bring in an item three different times and its never happened. I anticipate this is a B Class store. I shopped at Kroger for years unfortunately the closest one now closed.

Today I went in to pick up something to eat before heading home I try to give this Albertsons location the benefit of the doubt with there HOT and cold ready to eat chicken it’s always dry with no flavor today I went in they was all burnt the cold and hot one I showed a male manager with a blue shirt, I should’ve toke his name and he was so unbothered by the situation honestly if you want Hot and ready chicken go to a different location or Kroger’s this location. Horrible!

The pharmacy manager is rude. My medication are never ready on time. Both Pharmacist Christine and Trinh always make me feel like I am a bother. Plus they are always on their phone. I shop often at the store. When I look over at the pharmacy, again on their phone. Those poor other girls are doing all the work. Where do I send my complaints too? The store director or corporate? Please can we get some people in there that care about their patients more than their phones?

I bought an expired box of coffee now I am upset, I live a ways from there, the survey does work store 4231 Alex Martinez 216 N Carrier Pkyway, grand prairie 75050. It expired Jan 5, 2021, why was this on the shelf?

It was awful have to wait in line for customer associate to come to office, should have already been there. To wait again to find they dont do car tagsNot my grocery store, will stick with Tom Thumb.

They are very well organized. Prices are higher than Walmart. They still have fresh meat. No t bone steak, but plenty of other beef and other meats. They do limit products to 2 or3 per person. Thank god.
