Visited Texas for the weekend and was looking for great food! I had the BLT with fried chicken and my friend had the smokehouse burger. Both were delicious. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. Cute place, nice atmosphere, loved the soda fountain. Great place to grab a drink, a bite, or a coffee. Cool decor. If I’m ever back in TX I will definitely come back.

Theres an Austin-like feel to this concept. Its got a coffee shop for the early risers, burgers & salads for the hungry and a bar for the thirsty. In the middle of it all is a courtyard with picnic tables, a stage for live music and shipping containers for shaded outdoor seating.They say theyll make anything into a salad plus they have Beyond Meat burgers and tacos on the menu. Notify them you are vegan though, because both are vegetarian and need customizing.@YourQueerVeganAunt

It was not crowded around 10 am on a Saturday but started to get crowded by 12 pm. You can park at the back, parking is free. They have an affordable menu with good options and nice baristas!

Was here for a sweet 16 party, but I will absolutely be back with the wife and friends to just hangout, drink, watch sports, listen to live music, and play a few of their outdoor games.

I give five stars solely based on the ambiance and experience and the Dirty Bird Fries. This location is a modified car maintenance garage and they did a tremendous job with it. There is a bar, a burger shop, a coffee shop, a patio with a stage, and plenty of places to lounge on trendy couches, benches or tables. Its a destination.The burger was good, not great, but the Dirty Bird Fries were incredible. Highly recommended. A bit spicy, but not too bad. The fries were covered in tasty full pickle slices, Cajun spices, comeback sauce which seemed to be a type of spicy mayo (maybe Sriracha?), and covered with very good cut up fried chicken strips. SOOO good. It was a huge heaping plate for $13. I shared it with my friend as a side order to our burgers and we didnt finish it.When we were there it was full of teenage kids. It appeared that there was a Christian Youth event going on. The kids were having a blast. There was a Christian Band out on the stage.There is a small restroom inside and several personal restrooms in a container out back. They advertise karaoke nights, live music nights, and even, bring your own guitar nights where you can show off your skills on stage.

The bar tender was great! Poured a great margarita and a beer as tall as she was. The five older ladies in the courtyard private party had a hostess hassle our children, putting a damper on the evening. The atmosphere, structure and food are great. No employee should be bullied into hassling another patrons children that were just looking for a table during a busy Saturday night service. Private parties dont pay the bills, regulars and food enthusiasts do that. One of the ladies even said, they know who to take care of Unfortunate for the staff member, it was not her fault.

The dirty bird loaded fries are BEASTLY. Seasoned Cajun fries with Nashville hot chicken, slaw, comeback sauce... need I say more?! This can easily be an entree split for two or an appetizer split with a group. It was amazing how the fries remained crunchy and fresh even while being loaded with all this hunk! Im honestly still dreaming about it.I also got the Cali bird sandwich which has grilled chicken, avocado, cheddar cheese, onions, lettuce, and garlic butter (I got no bacon). This sandwich is also a large portion for the price and I enjoyed it! It didnt have a wow factor that blew me away, but definitely a quality chicken sandwich nonetheless. Id love to try more of their other options next time I come.Bonus: Dine-in is a super spacious, COVID-friendly environment with a large outdoor patio. Coffee shop and bar is also attached! We had an awesome time at FireHouse Gastro Park. The coffee shop was closed but the food was delicious and the bar had a variety of specialty drinks, cocktails, draft and bottled beer. All of the staff were very friendly. We truly enjoyed the live music, Ottoman Turks, in the open courtyard which provided plenty of outdoor seating.

The good was great. We had wings and really enjoyed them. We really like the layout of the place, with indoor and outdoor areas. Its great for family and group events. The only downside of the place was that it was really loud inside. We will definitely come back, hopefully when its less crowded. Im looking forward to trying some of the other types of food there.

This is the place to be when you’re looking to hang out with friends, go on a nice date- night, or just a solo hang out! I took a few pics I wanted to share because this time of year is difficult to get some nice outdoor time. I love it because they have the turf out on one side and open gravel on the other. There’s outdoor heaters, comfy seating, live band (call to verify times), open fire pit, & bean bag toss games! The GM was extremely hospitable, needless to mention the staff ALWAYS rocks. Thank for being a great leader GM (the army suit pic)! Love love love the place and atmosphere ♥️

Recently came here for a after work lunch with co-workers, and was amazed by how delicious the food was here.I had the mushroom burger cooked medium rare and it was one of the most juicy and yummiest burgers Ive ever had!The bar has a good enough selection of drinks and while I didnt get a chance to order it, they finally serve Yuengling at this location.They also have some vegetarian/vegan options (also got to mention they serve beyond meat burgers.)The atmosphere was super inviting and lively. There is an outdoor area patio with shading and fans, and a smaller patio area right next to it. The restrooms were nice and clean. Parking was slightly confusing since the parking lot is behind the restaurant.Overall, definitely worth to stop by for a quick drink and a good meal.

Such a great place! Been here several times and it has never disappointed. Every waiter/bartender/employee is so kind and friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is good! Linda in particular is a gem!!

All chicken, burgers and BBQ sandwiches can be served up as a salad. No need to feel any guilt here. You want BBQ and salad. How about both? Lose the bread and enjoy that brisket sandwich as a salad. I had the Cali Bird sandwich as a salad along with some loaded brisket nachos. Man, I love it! You will too. Go see for yourself!

I found this place by accident. On this particular trip I ordered the smoke house burger, with a side of onion rings. The food was fantastic! So much so, Ive been back several times since my first visit.

What a dynamic change! The bones and markings of the old firehouse remain but the vibe of fresh life vibrate in each of the gathering areas. The food was tasty and surprise elements stretched the palate. We recommend this treat when youre in the area.

I like to come here during the day to have lunch and studying. They have karaoke on Thursday night and I believe they still have live music during the weekends. Their burgers and fries are amazing!! I usually have honey chilli wangz and they are awesome, too!! P/s: you must try their root beer!!

Environment better than food, but its not bad either. I just like variety, but if your looking for quick comfort food this is your place, expect a good time!! I have never had any issues, the staff is very attentive with replenishing our drinks and helped us bring our food to the table outdoors. Kids love the space to play and run outdoors too. Cornhole in place too! I cant forget to mention the live entertainment, follow their FB page for updates, they are good about keeping the public up to date on events. Also a great quiet coffee shop by day!

Let me just say that FireHouse Gastro Park is the absolute best restaurant I have eaten at for as long as I can remember! The ambiance is spectacular, service and friendliness off the chain! I ordered a medium rare (cooked to perfection) mushroom swiss burger and onion rings. If I am ever traveling back to or through Dallas this will be a must stop for me every time!

My brother, Kevin owner of National Dental Services (NDS), and I stopped by this Austin-esque location prior to opening and met one of the awesome general managers, Linda! Her customer service skills were beyond reproach! She gave us a tour and history of the venue and made us feel very welcome 😊We also met Michael, one of the other general managers, who was in the coffee shop. He too, made us feel welcome by asking and making a conscious effort to remember our names 😊 We plan to visit Sunday, 5SEP21, with a group of friends to celebrate my husbands birthday and try the food.... Got the Buffalo bird which was great however the Cajun fries tasted like straight sugar no spice to them at all. Definitely don’t recommend the sugar fries. But highly recommend the Buffalo bird. Was told I’d get regular fries instead but never got them. Don’t think I’ll come back.

I LOVE this place. The fact that you can make any burger into a salad is awesome. Wings are so tasty and the dirty bird fries are incredible! They are a huge portion so I get the smaller size for the dirty bird. Outside seating arrangement is a plus.

Great vibe and atmosphere. Wish they had a couple of other vegetarian options. The menu is fun and creative, but likes the same creativity when it comes to the vegetarian options.

I went to a retirement party at Firehouse Gastro Park last week. We had great appetizers, served hot and prepared perfectly. The bar was hopping and lots of great drinks were served. We went outside to the cool patio with the live stage area for the program. There’s a wonderful Instagram worthy mural on the patio! Such a fun laid-back atmosphere, a great place for a party and a meal.

The Nashville hot chicken is awesome! The fries are good but always cold if you order to go. The staff is nice...sometimes lost. It gives me flash backs from when I use to be in the industry, so I get it. If you go during peak time just dont expect everything to be perfect because they get really busy. Worth it for the Nashville Hot!

We arrived with a BIG group from out of town and this place did not disappoint! They were fast, courteous, got everything right, and the food was amazing. The brisket gouda sandwich on sourdough was sublime!

Food was good, we got a hamburger, quesadilla, wings and their dirty fries which was pretty good. I got their cali chicken sandwich which was delicious but the bun was falling apart from the sauce. The environment was nice, will come back to experience the outside park area.

Very cool place, with a spacious backyard and a fun indoor with an outdoor vibe. Planned to get coffee but they didnt have decaf. Restaurant had just opened so stayed to eat and was very satisfied. I got the dirty bird fries and she got the cali bird salad. We split a side of zucchini fries. Each of us had to take home leftovers plus most of the zucchini fries. The prices might seem a little high but you get a lot for your dollar! The food was very good and fresh. I was very pleased and surprised by the quality of everything and definitely cant wait to come back to try more of their menu. Didnt get a cocktail today but would like to try those as well. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.

We love this place. Great food, friendly folks, cozy coffee bar off the main dining area, and the kids absolutely enjoy the outdoor patio area with room to run around. It feels like Cali-Mex came to Texas. A great hangout spot with a little something for everyone here. Definitely will be returning with friends.

Cool new bar in the area. There is a window for food that has chicken sandwiches (Z-bird) and bbq and burgers (meat Spartacus). I had garlic parm wings and fries from z-bird that were pretty good.Good selection of beer and craft cocktails at the bar. Staff was friendly and drinks and food were reasonably priced. There is also a coffee shop. Bathrooms outside are very clean. There is a large outside area with games. Parking is in the back and is ample.

I had the best Nashville Hot Chicken ever! There is a restaurant with a bar on one side, coffee shop on the other. There is indoor seating that opens up to the outside, and outdoor seating. Really unique set up. They have live music some nights. Food and service was great, staff super friendly and accommodating. Chicken was so good, I bought wings to go.

They have craft everything - soda, alcohol, coffee, and food!As a barista from a coffee shop in southeast Texas, I very much appreciate a well-trained coffee shop staff. Literally every espresso-based drink I have ordered leaves me wanting another! And the sweet barista that was there last month was so awesome to talk to! She told us they had literally just switched to a light roast espresso that day and - well, without boring you, it was just really cool to have a conversation with someone who has the same passion for coffee that I do!Their food is mouth-watering. Literally everything is so good, my family and I are like vultures trying to pick a bite from everyones plate! 😆This last time, my dad ordered one of the sandwiches with chicken, and they forgot the chicken but promptly replaced his sandwich with a fresh one! And they were quick to reward my mom her loyalty point she forgot to claim after they had already paid. The management and staff are friendly, quick, and ready to serve.Oh! And they have an AMAZING outdoor space! Its gorgeous and has fun yard games, plenty of space for everyone!Im going here every time Im in Grand Prairie if I can help it!

This place is pretty cool, especially for Grand Prairie. They have good food, mostly chicken sandwiches and burgers, a bar, and a little coffee shop. Their signature cocktails are great, they use infusions and such to add their own taste to them. Coffee is great as well. Ive had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich as well as the dirty bird fries and was very pleased with both. Very good spicy flavor with not too much heat.FireHouse, if you are reading this... your Nashville chicken is great. Better than anyone else around here. But I think you should offer it with different levels of heat for us nut-jobs. Id love to see a hot-hot, and a insanely spicy version.

My review is based solely on the food alone. The food here was fantastic across a group of 7 of us ordering different things across the menu, not a single complaint among us. The food was phenomenal, and the prices were very good.Onto the other stuff. The vibe was VERY hipster. That is not my atmosphere at all and I felt weird with the way some other patrons were staring but it is what it is and that is simply the clientele. I went to FireHouse Gastro Park on a whim and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the teal gates out back. The décor, vibe, and overall atmosphere are fantastic and definitely sets FHGP apart from local bars and hangouts. The lawn area has a stage, several games, and plenty of seating. Once inside, the vibe is definitely “hipster” but not in a bad way… quirky food, unique drinks, and odd décor make FHGP one of a kind. I would recommend this hang out to anyone looking for something low-key with the option to sit outside. Be sure to try one of their signature drinks called the Charlotte!

The food here is pretty good. I got the Buffalo bird sandwich and I’ll admit that it tasted pretty good. But this restaurant’s one glaring flaw is the service. I came here with 4 other people. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. It took 35 MINUTES for our food to arrive, and it wasn’t even everything we ordered. Then we waited 15 more minutes for the rest of our food to come. It took a total of 50 MINUTES to get all of our food. I even went up to the counter at the 30 minute mark to complain, and the lady up there said sorry. I then told her that a person that came in 20 minutes after us got their food in almost 10 minutes, and we were still waiting. She said that that person came in before us, which was an obvious lie. Do not come here unless you are willing to wait up to an hour for your food.

Very nice place, my wife and I were surprised on how nice the interior looks. The food and my coffee were great and we would definitely come back since the ladies that work there are all very friendly, attentive, and we felt welcome since the time that we stepped in. The only thing is that you have to ask for your bun to be toasted and we didn’t know that until our burgers arrived

Visiting from Austin, the vibes here are immaculate. The dirty bird was amazing, and Trayvon was an awesome host and server. We also had the onion rings, fried pickles, and burger - so so good.

The setting is laid back, and there is plenty of room, including a large outdoor dining area. The prices are higher than a typical burger joint, but the food quality makes it worthwhile. Side dishes are extra, but if you order one with a meal, the drink is included for free

This place has such a great vibe. The venue was perfect all of the tables are a perfect distance from each other. The lights were comforting. The tacos were delicious, and there was hardly any wait time for the food! Try the Hemingway drink at the bar. I will be back either for a calm relaxing enjoyable girls night or with my family because it’s kid friendly as well! Love love love this new little spot in my city!
