I am not certain that an appointment helped me save time.I have used your service with and with out an appointment.I had hoped that an appointment would mean that the number of customers dropping in without an appointment would not cause customers with appointments who arrive on time to be moved to the bottom of the service list. This was my first experience to come for an oil change and wait 2 hours.If the policy is first come first serve I will be sure to be at the dealership first thing in the morning. You guys are fantastic …..you helped me find a tow truck I got to pay that when I paid my bill with you guys made it simple…. You found the problems quickly and you resolve them quickly. My parents purchased a 2014 Ford Explorer on December of 2017 ever since then it’s been nothing but issues and this dealership has been absolutely NO HELP! the main issue has always been the AC going out and every single time they’ve taken it to the dealership to get “fixed” it never gets fixed. It’s been over 3 times that this issue gets “fixed” this last time my moms truck has been there for over TWO weeks and they couldn’t even give her a rental nonetheless any updates. You would think because you get all these extras with the insurance they offer you would at least be offered a rental but NO they don’t even care to accommodate you in anyway, absolutely no HELP. Any other dealership makes sure you have a vehicle for the time being BUT this dealership does NOT. NEVER doing business here again

I came to Grand Prairie Ford where I needed to get my all changed. The truck was new and it was a lease and I did not buy it there. Thats when I met Larry who told me that it did not matter and he would take care of my needs.. Upon asking a few questions and taking a few picture Larry assured that I would get my all changed done within a timely manner. F250s are hard to come by right now and Steven helped me track one down pretty quick. He was quick, professional, not pushy, and helped me get the financing to fit my budget. I was able to drop the truck off at my convenience and was notified when it went I to work and was updated on the findings. The negotiations were rough, which is to be expected I guess, though once you agree to pay sticker, why I got presented with a price above sticker - I don’t get. But once price was agreed, the process was fast and thorough. John did an amazing job walking through the car with me, setting it up, showing me how to use the best features. The finance lady was amazing too. Very quick, personable.Then I learned more: The “reason” the car was so much more than advertised on their website was because every car had $2495 worth of extras the dealer puts on every car, and it was already done. Non-negotiable. During the negotiations, they reduced the cost of these extras. What they did not mention is that they also reduced these extras. I thought they were “already done”. One of those was the Kahu theft protection too. When I asked how to set up I was told I did not want it so they took it off. They misrepresented the reduction in the extras as a concession- not that they also took stuff off.Stay away from GP Ford.

I came all the way up to Dallas from Houston to visit the area and had been looking for a specific truck. All of the Houston dealerships I dealt with didn’t have the truck I wanted or sold before I could jump on it. For the heck of it I decided to start searching Ford dealerships in the Dallas area and came up with Grand Prairie Ford. I called the store and spoke with the beautiful and professional Kyel Rodriguez. She confirmed they had the truck I was looking for and, after speaking with the manager, Robert Fuegate, a deal was made. They really worked with me to make a deal that was fair. Alejandro was the sales representative we talked to, he was nice and definitely helpful, overall they refused to answer the questions that didnt involve finalizing a sale, and even sent in a stereotypical sales closer, ended up having to walk away when the sales manager said math is math as a response to me saying I wanted to shop around for information, definitely wont be buying from this location no matter what, but i felt like i learned enough from the experience to justify a 3/5

Overall, appreciated working with their service advisor. There was an initial miscommunication with pricing. However, it was quickly corrected.The initial time frame quoted was over a week to a week and a half time frame once an inspection was done to identify if my lead frame was bad. But was able to get my truck back within the same week much to my happiness.

Once again GRAND PRAIRIE FORD came thru! For more than 12 years they have been doing service work to my 1998 Ford F150 Flareside. It now has 413,000 miles on it and running as good as a new one. Would give 0 stars if I could.They are marking up cars like crazy and aren’t being honest about it at all!! My parents bought a car from them and after they got the deal put together they said the car is on hold, probably for some small recall, nothing to worry about. Said they would deliver it Monday morning. They heard back from them Monday morning and said that the car can’t be sold because of a child safety seat latch recall and had the nerve to ask for more money for a different truck.Don’t go to this Ford dealer! There are better ones out there, will be buying the same type of truck at a different dealer who is more honest, and doesn’t mark up cars like crazy!

Kyrstal Harder did a great job with my car inspection. I was able to get in and out in a good amount of time. The only other thing I wish is that they would fuel up your car when you are getting your inspection. It would be great for customer satisfaction.

From my very 1st phone call to GP Ford Service Center...Mr. Larry Davis answered my call for help. He promised that he would take care of myself and my car...and he kept that promise until the very moment I drove away with my baby fixed all up! They had my baby for four whole days and Mr. Davis kept me apprised daily of everything that they were doing, even giving me a timeline which helped tremendously!My driver side door locking latch snapped, with no warning. I found a recall on my exact make/yr/model. While speaking to Mr. Davis, he found 3 more recalls...So, he had me get them all done, happily I agreed.From beginning to end my service was the greatest Ive ever had anywhere regarding any automotive services. I will go back and I most definitely would recommend them to friends, family, anyone who wants to be treated with great customer service skills!!!

Buyer Beware! We had submitted the necessary paperwork for a new vehicle and even had an appointment set up to get it on Saturday to sign and pick it up. Received a call late yesterday that they actually didnt have that vehicle anymore. So we discussed another color with the same package and everything. Then everything in the quote changed and they refused to honor the original paperwork we had already signed. They were not the least bit concerned about the loss of our business. Basically told us to go somewhere else.

First off I would like to state that my initial entrance of the Ford compound I was approached and ask about help and was never seen by that personal any longer it started out as if it didn’t seem like I was gonna get the work done on my vehicle then I was a I was directed to a Miss Sharral McGee I think and I don’t know how to express a concern that she has for myself and my well-being as well as I was very irritated but She slowly explain the Situation she was awesome and I just really want to commend her I normally don’t do feedback but I really want to come in here she did awesome awesome Great Job Ms S. I asked the shop to the works on my vehicle which is an oil change and Tire rotation. I then decided to new wiper blades and a new airfilter for my vehicle. I did not inspect to see thesethings were done upon receiving my car. However, I decided I would wash my car when I got home. While washing the vehicle I noticed the tires have not been rotated which they charge along with oil change one to $60 with tax included for the service. That made me question if they really performed the wipe blade change and air filter. I dont know if the wiper were because the rear wiper was not new and the one I change still had entry of life on them before I asked GP Ford service to change them. I may have to go a dealership service up north since the dealers in the south of Dallas done do there job as they say. Maybe I will give them another chance but I dont know. Make sure you inspect your car before leaving their premises.

The associates are dishonest and tell you they don’t think your issue will be covered but still pay for the diagnosis even though you have a warranty and coverage with another company. They will try to place blame on the owner when they are the mechanics. DO NOT VISIT THIS FACILITY! Go to automation Ford! Sherrel and Brandon and Anthony are not forthright and honest employees or members of management! Considering never buying FORD again and that is the only brand I’ve driven in 15 years. That’s how bad the service was.

Great customer service was given on initial visit, overall I had 4 visits due to same problem. I explained what my vehicle was doing, diagnostic test was done and came back with results different than I expected. Not being a mechanic I trusted what they said the issue was in hopes it would fix my vehicle. Less than two days my vehicle continued to make the same noise and check engine light came on. Took it back to get it checked out and was informed they made sure all was good, some sensors may have come loose during the repair but they tightened them up and sent me on my way. Another week and same issue. This time they find another problem and I paid more $ only to continue to have the exact same issue. I submitted a review and customer service calls back wanting to make things right. I agree to go back for another diagnostic test only to be told it’s another major repair. But I was only lured in to correct a survey I originally submitted as the customer service rep asked for the email with survey and submitted herself. I really love my Ford vehicle and tried to be understanding with all that happened. I know some diagnosis are hard to find but that last visit did not sit well with me.

Took my truck on time in the morning and said it will take just a couple of hrs (left vehicle at 7:30 AM). I had to call at 3:00 PM cause didn’t hear from them and I needed truck and finally 30 minutes AFTER I CALLED, they contacted me to let me know truck was ready. Other than that, everything else ok.

UPDATE: This review finally moved the needle. I was contacted twice immediately after leaving it and my new hood was installed today. The new hood looks great, just wish it didn’t take 8 months. Better late than never!Terrible customer service after the sale! I bought a used car 7 months ago that had some corrosion on the hood. The repairs to the hood were rolled into the price of the car, so this is a service I PAID FOR UP FRONT and have yet to receive. I’ve made countless calls to my sales rep and the collision department and have gotten nowhere. I escalated the issue to the manager 6 days ago and haven’t heard back from him either. Maybe this review will trigger some action but I’m not holding my breath at this point. I’ll update the review whenever they get around to providing the service I paid for 7 months ago.
Only reason I’m giving it a 2 star is because when the service facility to do an oil change makes you make an appointment, i expect to be done in a reasonable time since i have an appointment. Not 2.5 hours later after appointment. And after complaining.
They were able to service my car for recalls the same day I called and had it done when promised. We have purchased our used vehicle from there (6 years ago) as well and I will continue to make the drive to Grand Prairie because Ive tried going other places and have not been as satisfied.
