I got a wheel repaired and was charged over $400. Less than 6 months later the wheel is damaged in the same spot it was repaired in. When I called and told them of the situation, they asked if I could come in next week because they are swamped. They were not swamped when they took my $435 for ONE wheel repair. They are quick to take your money, but the service is subpar. I would look into another company when considering wheel repair.

Stay away from this place, they are over priced and will waste your time!I called the Burleson store and told them I had a wheel that was needing repair and I described to them the damage. The store manager charged me over the phone and told me to take the truck to the Grand Prairie store and that they would get it taken care of in 2days, mind you I live in Burleson. I dropped my truck off and went to pick it up 2 days later parked in the same spot with no repairs done to the wheel.I spoke to the manager at the Grand Prairie store and he told me the Burleson manager never gave him any details and if I wanted to I could bring it back next week. I brought the truck back the next week and nothing was done to it again. Went again a third time and nothing.I finally took my truck back and demanded my money back. Took 2weeks to get it back. Stay away from this shop trust me! The receptionist there acts as if she is the owner and she calls the shots in the Grand Prairie location.I found a place in Mansfield that charged me almost half less than these crooks and repaired 2 wheels in 24hrs 2wheels for less than what RimSpec charged me for 1! It’s called LONESTAR WHEEL REPAIR and they did a great job! You won’t be disappointed with LONESTAR WHEEL REPAIR.

Very unprofessional; I was told that the wheel would be completed by a certain time. It is understood that other things appear, however it was not communicated to me by anyone which costs us time and money. All I got was...we apologize for the inconvenience and a disconnected call. It wouldnt have been an inconvenience if someone would have done their job and made a simple phone call, so I could have made other options. Its PEACE though...I made this review convenient for you. I called late in day to get a quote on repairing 2 bent rims on my car that I needed same day service. I spoke with Daniel and he told me he could make it happen if I came early in morning. When I came the next morning, I showed him the 2 wheels that I was told were damaged . He then said that they can check them all to be sure and Long story short they found damages on all of the rims. Also to add, he noticed that I had scratches and damages from checking the curb a few times and offered reasonable prices to fix the bent rims and powder coat the wheels. After everything was done my wheels came out looking brand new. I was very pleased with the service and quality of work. I will be using them again in the near future and I highly recommend. I called to get a quote for a curbed rim repair and was quoted $175 out the door while other places wanted $200-$300. I dropped off my rim and recieved it three days later looking brand new. I was honestly extremely satisfied with the work done. I was told if I wanted my other three rims done, I would be charged $150 per wheel. I highly recommend this place for any type of wheel repair and the staff is fantastically friendly, especially Jessica. Thank you guys!!

The owner was extremely polite, honest, provided me insight on the least expensive path of repair, he demonstrated extreme mastery of his craft on my $12,000 rims. Car has no more vibrations from the damaged rim and he performed the work quickly. He fixed the outer bent portion without damaging any paint, and fixed the massive inner bent portion, not scene in the pictures, causing the significant wheel vibration flawlessly. His pricing was half of what the dealer last charged me to fix a significantly smaller bend in the rim. **do not let the location or older look of the building fool, or guide you away*** while I was there, he had high dollar Mercedes Benzes, A brand new M5, and a Maserati he was working on. Vehicle was brought in after a one vehicle collision with a concrete barrier. Was told the alignment ment and axel was messed up. After the moth of waiting the vehicle brakes are squiking because of the alignment issue as well as that there is a savivere lean to when driving to the left. Was told that they were un aware of the issue but for the vehicle to go straight the steering wheel has to be at a 25 percent turn

Got my wife’s wheels powder coated to a matte black finish. They look absolutely fantastic and had them done in all of about two hours. One rim had a crack and they fixed that as well I originally dealt with Mike over the phone and when I got there and then I met the owner Tim. Both guys were super friendly and professional. I ended up driving 35 miles to get this done but it was well worth it, I highly recommend

I called them on Saturday May 30 at 2:45 pm asking if they can repair a chip in my rim. The guy on the phone told me that they could and if I drop the car off that day before 4PM (since that was their closing time on Saturday) they could probably have it done Monday or Tuesday. Awesome, I left and drove 30 minutes to their location and arrived around 3:20PM (40 minutes before closing). I parked and walked to the door, pulled it and it was locked. So I knocked several times and tried calling about 4-5 times. I heard the phone ring through the door, so I know it was the right place. I thought they may have just been in the garage out back. So I walk around and find some guys working in a shop right next door and ask them if they were Rimspec, they said No. and told me to call Rimspec, but since their garage door was shut they were likely closed. I really feel like I did everything I could to make sure someone was there when I showed up, the guy on the phone knew I was coming and lied to me about being able to show up before 4. I would not do business with these guys after something like that. They may be great dudes, but for me that was not good business.

I was an emergency situation and needed wheel repair ASAP! I called and they were able to repair my wheel the same day. It was very convenient for me and they were really professional. Will definitely recommend 👍

I went to a place in Arlington who specialize in repair. They told me my set of wheels were totaled. I shopped around until I found RimSpec. Mike told me that he could repair it. I was skeptical but took a chance with him anyway. He fixed a wheel that 3 other rim repair shops wouldnt and couldnt fix. They ALL told me the wheels were TOTALED. Mike brought my babies back to life...with a 1 year warranty. I had to get screwed over by another repair shop in order to understand just how good RimSpec really was. They are the Micheal Jordan of wheel repair. You gotta experience their craftsmanship to believe it.

Man this place is a joke. I paid them to fix my 28 inch wheels and when its time for you to bring your rims back because paint has chip off they wont return your call. I left several messages and no one has never contact me back . Please go to Dallas Wheel Repair were you will get the best results and customer service. The owner Tim is a fraud human being. They have fixed several wheels on my vehicles over the past 3 years, they do great work. I have never had an issue with their repairs. I had a wheel cracked in 3 spots and they were able to fix it. They had my wheel back to me before it was promised. I will continue to return to them for my wheel repair needs.

Tim was very professional, took my wheel in for repair and also had him powder coat my project bike frame. Work came out better then imagined and had quick turn around time. They also have the integrity to stand behind their work and with that I’ll definitely continue to give them my business.

I’m NOT a disgruntled employee, I’m a disgruntled customer. Took my wheels to Rim Spec ‎‎(Grand Prairie) the receptionist is unprofessional. The only person that look have any sense of ‎customer service there is Leslie very helpful even when things arent under her control. Rim Spec ‎‎(Grand Prairie) fixed the two wheels I took there, however they show high levels of ‎disorganization and lack of scheduling which is the reason I give them (1) star. First wheel have a ‎crack, bend and scratch. Took them (4) days to fixed my first wheel. Second wheel have a crack, ‎bend and scratch. Took them (10) days to fixed my second wheel. If you decide to take your ‎wheels to Rim Spec (Grand Prairie), you will have to accept or tolerate delays, troubles, ‎suffer without getting angry or upset and bad customer service. They will fixed your wheels, but ‎when they can, not when you want. Ha, ha, ha!!!‎ Took my business someplace ELSE.

This place is no longer what it used to be. I have used them several times in the past and they did a great job but due to some reason, maybe management or staff change, or whatever the cause the customer service and workmanship is extremely poor. I dropped off my wheel that they repaired a few months back because it cracked again where they had welded it and they charged me again for the poor job that they did in the first place. Not only that, when they called me that it was ready, I drove for an hour and a half only to find out it was not. The technician forgot to refinish the rim. When I came back the second time (few days later) they forgot to put air. Really? And I was told by the cashier that I should have never been charged in the first place because it was still under warranty but the owner refused to refund me saying the wheel was also bent in other places. I will not be dealing with them again. A lot of businesses know how to deal with issues, this is not one of them. Total waste.

This place is no joke! I had a bent rim and i could not drive far as it would not hold air. I also had some bad curb scratches on all rims. Tim the owner came by my house yesterday evening removed the wheels from my car and took them to his shop for repair. He brought them back today bent rim fixed scratches were gone and he put them back on my car. All my rims look very good like a bag of money!! You would think they were brand new. All this was done in less than 24hrs for a very reasonable price. I recommend anyone needing wheel/rim repair give them a call. RimSpec is the place to go!

This place is pretty cool. The people were really cool and the mechanics and know their ish.....All the bends and cracks were removed and the welds were perfect.The price was a little good for the service you get.I would recommend this place to you 20-26 riders that need your rims repaired.

I went to RimSpec Wheel Repair & Rim about a week ago after I had a tire blow out and my rim was dented as a result. I called RimSpec after getting a ridiculous quote from the dealership. RimSpec provided me with an over the phone quote of $100-$145 depending on the damage to the rim. This was less than half the cost of what the dealership was charging. I went to RimSpec that same day and they were able to provide same day service for an additional cost of $50. They had me in and out in less than an hour. The mechanics allowed me to come back to the garage to see that the dent had been fixed and that the tire was properly balanced. Because I am a skeptical person, I purposely waited one week to write this review to ensure that there was no issues with the tire. Over a week later, I have no complaints. RimSpec offers a 1 year warranty also. All of the staff were very friendly. Im so happy to have found this business and that they were able to provide same day assistance with such short notice!

Drop off a rim after I went to the dealership they wanted to charge me 600 for a new wheel. I tried them out they repaired it to like brand new for the fraction of the cost. I know where to go now if this happen again. great service and friendly people

I recently (week and a half ago) ran over a large piece of wood a some jack*** dumped all over the highway. 2 of my rims split wide open after the expenses for a tow truck and all else my wallet was hurting pretty bad. I tried for hours to find a place that would repair them immediately. This is just about the only place that will do them the same day and on a weekend. The price didnt help my hurting wallet to much but after working with them and explaining the situation I had gotten into they brought the price down decently and had the rims done in a day. The weld seems to be very sturdy and having done welding myself I approve more then I thought I would to start off with. The year warranty they put on the repair was a great cherry on top.To summarize this company and be as straight forward as possible they seem to be slightly disorganized but very slightly but their work is SOLID there work ethic seems to be just as great. I have a good feeling that this company keeping on the upward path they are already on will soon skyrocket into a large and very well know business.Keep up the great work!

As many issues as I have had with my 3 piece wheels from 360Forged, Ive yet to go to the same spot twice to get my wheels worked on. I have finally found my wheel spot in DFW. Tim took care of my inner barrel replacement and his tech was very precise in mounting my tire. They have the rubber clamps that protect the wheel from scuffs and scratches during a reverse mount which is a huge plus. Ive been to many shop that try to duct tape the clamps or even try to convince me they are extra careful protect it so wheel which doesnt fly with me. Thanks Again Wheel Spec. I will definitely be back.

After going Discount Tire and the Dealership they told me I needed a new rim after a blow out. I decided to get a second opinion and found RimSpec. Morgan H. we should talk. This all comes down to the owner Tim being a small business owner he should be more responsible and wanting his business to succeed. I took my car there for repairs the insurance quoted 5 days for repairs and it took over 2 months and still not done right. Tim is full of excuses and wants to make it like he is doing me a favor. I was more than patient and understanding with him. Honesty is not his strong point and he blamed his workers rather than take responsibility.

#TrueStory: I hit a pothole on I-30 friday morning headed to work. After hitting that pothole I dented my 26 inch rim severely. Also, I was scheduled to drive outta town the next day. I googled this place on the same day and went there. The receptionist was real cool and understood my situation. The manager and staff took care of me. Not only did they fix my dent in my rim... I got all of them customized to a new color for a very reasonable price. My rims was completed the same day. Im currently at my scheduled destination and people are loving my rims. I would refer anyone here. The staff is real cool and professional. You can tell that they love their job!

I called 7 different companies to get my calipers Powder Coated with the high temperature decals and by far these guys did an outstanding job and went above and beyond to help me out. What I liked the most, was the fact I didnt have to take my brakes apart (since Im by no means a mechanic) and they stored my car for 3 days while the work was being done and completed. Just moved here from FL & ended up busting one of my aftermarket offroad wheels on the highway last week. After a coworker recommended this place, I took them my wheel after work Saturday night & got it back the following day. The owner, Tim, went above & beyond to get me taken care of.

I brought In a damaged rim to them to get repaired.. After Id heard great things.. I was absolutely appalled at how they fixed it.. They lost and then gave me back my damaged inserts they removed.. They sanded or blasted my whole rim down.. What for? I took another rim that was in even worse condition to a different place right up my street.. And they did an awesome job! No sanding! Clear coated and looked brand new! Now on the rim rimspec repaired, I have a hair line crack where it looked like they welded it.. Never going back there again!

Discount Tire broke the valve stems on my Uncles Cobra GT500 wheels and pretty much threw their hands up in the air. RimSpec repaired the wheels and made them look new again. Would use again!

Great customer service! Took my car up there to repair my 22inch rims. They took care of it in fast and reliable manner. I would recommend them to a friend.

I brought a damaged wheel to the company for repair. They stated to me that they could correct the bend in the wheel with the equipment that they use. Evidently they cracked the inside of the wheel during the bend repair and had to weld it. The weld made the wheel of no use to me. Reputable tire companies find the weld unsafe and will not mount a tire on it. Discount Tire refused to do the mounting for me. I have texted the manager during this time and he first said that he didnt even know that they welded it. Later, after stating my disappointment and requesting a refund, he denied that they even welded it. He just says that I got what I was quoted for. He proved himself to be quite a liar during our discussions to resolve the problem. This was a bad experience with a business with poor ethics and a problem with honesty.

I thought I would have to leave my car overnight so they could fix it the next day. Nope! They fixed it that same day even though I showed up with 45 min left before they closed! Definitely recommend!

Ive seen wheels come in and out of this shop like clock work. All the workers take pride in what they do. From what I see, the customers coming out of there wear a smile on their faces. Any business will run into a person or two that wont be happy., and sometimes it may not be anyones fault at all. All Im saying is, out of the many happy faces, I dont recall even seeing one unhappy face. Majority always rules! Keep up the good job guys!
