They have a great selection. They are nice. They are one of the only places that carries a Co Brewery special.

According to their own site they close at midnight on Monday. I looked it up, it said they were open yet when I got there at 1130 the guy wouldnt let me in. Said they were closed. There were others in the parking lot as well who couldnt understand. Apparently this place can take or leave customers.

College Liquors is conveniently located for where I live. Unfortunately, I am not a college student and while Im certainly interested in beer, the reason that I go to a liquor store is to find liquors other than beer. In this regard, College Liquors does not rise to the occasion, as their selection of wines and other spirits is extremely limited. Moreover, if you cant find something specific that youre looking for, you shouldnt expect any real help from their staff to get it. Specifically, on one of my earlier visits to this location, I was able to find a bottle of my preferred Cinzano vermouth (for cooking a regional variation of ossobuco, in fact). Some time later, I could no longer find any Cinzano at all, and had to settle for their smaller bottles of Tribuno vermouth. This was peculiar, given that the wine list hosted on the College Liquors website specifically lists Cinzano to this day! The staff suggested that I fill in a little card describing the item I was looking for, and they would be in touch; I filled in the card, I never heard from anyone, and I never saw my preferred Cinzano vermouth at College Liquors ever again. Its very disappointing, because 1) if you have an online inventory list, it should really reflect your actual inventory, and 2) if you go through the song and dance of having customers fill out cards for special requests (that are listed in your inventory to begin with!) then you should really follow-up with them.Also, I get carded every single time I make purchases at College Liquors. Im 39 years old and I really dont look under 21 anymore. At first it was a bit funny and flattering, but eventually it grew tiresome.

Im from slc so places like this are kinda cool to me. Their singles selection was awesome, I made my own six pack and loved em all. The variety on beer seemed much more than spirits and wine. Obviously college kids dont get a whole lot a wine so that isle was a bit thin.

Lots of selection. A giant walk in beer fridge with make your own 6 pack. The 2 guys working the counter were nice and helpful. The location was hard to spot from the main road.

First off, my wife and I have frequented College Liquors for years, through staff changes and change of management. Most of them are super nice and go out of their way to find something for you. But this evening, September 30, 2017 at about 5pm, this one olderish gentleman that was working, I asked him if he had a particular type of beer, all that he said was NO! and walked past me doing whatever he was doing. So I took the hint and promptly left and went not far down the street to County Club Liquors, which has the same prices and nicer staff. Unfortunately my wife and I will not be back to College Liquors any time soon.

Excellent selection of local beers as well as out of state stuff. Huge selection of singles you can make your own six packs with. They also have a sizable walk in cooler too.

The beer cooler, the create your own 6 pack option, and rewards program are definitely the perks of this store.

This is a decent place, with a fairly good selection. I did put something on hold/filled out a form for a special order of something that they carry, but are always out of. I never got a call for it, but when I went back they had one left, showing that they had a shipment come in. I will special order things through another store now.

Decent enough place, nice selection, especially in the walk-in beer cooler. However a couple nights ago a friend and I walked in looking for absinthe (because it’s tasty and green). A younger guy working around the floor didn’t know what it really was or if they carried it, so he asked an older man working behind the counter. The man looked at us (almost horrified?) and said “that’s illegal in this country!!” My friend and I were a little confused for a second, thinking he maybe said “county”, because it is most definitely legal and we’ve both bought it before. But man, he sounded borderline offended and I felt like he was looking at us like we just asked him where they kept the herion.After realizing he definitely said “country” my friend pointed out that it’s only illegal if it has thujone from wormwood in it, making it hallucinogenic. The man said something along the lines of “oh, well, we don’t have that here”, so we left empty-handed. I felt super judged and awkward, and to be honest extremely surprised that someone working in a liquor store didn’t know such a common fact about a type of liquor.
