I got a message when I called the other guy who didnt call back until later in the day. I needed our garage door fixed so had called Overhead Door where I didnt get a voice mail.Dale came to the rescue. He was prompt, knowledgeable and such a nice guy. Working in brutal heat he fixed our garage door in mere minutes and we couldnt be happier!!!I was impressed and think you will be too!

I called overhead door of Grand Island to set up an appt. for a quote for new openers for my garage. They came and did an estimate, and we scheduled a date to install. They didnt show up to install the day planned, but called and said they needed to reschedule and would be in touch. I tried contacting that next week to reschedule and never got a call back. I called the main office again a MONTH later to reschedule the appt. and two months later I have still not been called back. Im very disappointed in this company.

We have tried calling to get our door opener replaced. It is now going on three weeks. If you dont talk to the sales person right away, they dont return calls, or give you status updates. They keep telling us it will be soon. We called a competitor, and it only took 2 days to get a new opener installed. Never again!

Called them up with what I thought was an issue with my opener. Worked with my schedule and had great communication on lining up a time that would work my strange work hours. John the technician was very professional and courteous. I was informed that my type of door with a spring tube was not sold by overhead door but he diagnosed and attempted a fix without replacement parts. Referred me to Pioneer door as they do spring tube doors. Offered to pay but they said they do free diagnostics.

Process has been somewhat of a struggle with this company. Trying to get any questions answered, call back or acknowledgement that an email is received is subpar at best. I am in the Sales/Customer service industry and I am never too busy throughout the day that I don’t have 30 sec- 2 minutes to take a call, make a call back or respond to an email/text that at minimum says “I don’t have an answer for you but I am working on it” especially for a customer/client that is wanting to do business with me and can quickly make a choice to go somewhere else. I am happy with my door and the installer was good to work with but getting to the point of install was a process and making sure all the info on the order was installed and correct left a lot to be desired. We have some final adjustments that need to be made so the panels are square and I am optimistic that it will get done in a timely fashion but we will see. I am not saying to buy somewhere else, just go into it knowing that it might be a struggle to get to the point of install as far as communication is concerned. It’s a beautiful door I’m just reminded of the quote “Who you buy from IS JUST as important as what you buy”.11/1-GM and Installer came out to adjust the door and confirmed it was okay with me before they left. Looks better and I am Happy with the door. Again, door is great just the struggle to get a call back or update was frustrating thru-out the process.
