Friendly and helpful, these guys were very considerate and explained everything I need to know! Also, the reason I had to do business with them, is because I was helping some veterans that had broke down on the interstate. They were VERY vet friendly and helped me get them back going quick and even expressed their gratitude to all veterans as we left. I was really impressed!! Thanks and I know those guys we helped are grateful, also!

So we were on a road trip when our transmission went out just before Grand Island, Nebraska on our way home to Illinois from Utah. We didn’t have the money to pay for repairs on the spot so we planned on dropping the Tahoe off at a shop and take the Greyhound home. We got in contact with them and told them our situation and they told us to bring it in. They allowed us to leave it there, gave us a ride to the bus station, kept in touch with us, repaired and then held the Tahoe for 2 months without charge until we could arrange to pick it up. They went above and beyond and I appreciate how much they helped us. I wish I could find a shop in my area like this. Sadly the quality of service they provide is hard to find these days.I give them 10 Stars acrosss the board.

I was driving from Colorado to Minnesota pulling a trailer and having issues with my transmission. I stopped at 2 other mechanics along the way who all told me I needed to replace Gear Pressure Switches with a minimum cost of 500$ plus with installation.I called BG&S and spoke with Bill, he took time to understand what was going on with my vehicle and politely informed me, I was likely just pulling to much weight for my vehicle and that was causing my transmission to over heat. He discouraged me from buying the parts and having the work done. He was right on! I listen to his advice geared down, kept a constant speed and try to not let my car shift as much. I made it all the way back to Minnesota without anymore issues and my car is still running perfectly.I highly recommend calling and speaking with Bill and he will tell you the truth and try to help you as much as he can all while maintaining honesty. Great service!

My truck broke down I am from Indiana and these guys were able to take it in on a Friday work with me put me at the front of their customer list like they do with all truckers Farmers Travelers and Transporters in given the circumstances were able to get me out very quickly considering every other shop in the area was backed up for about 2 weeks they did an awesome job making sure that my truck was good to go when they received the cards awesome job very friendly very professional excellent shop to look into and use if youre in the area

Traveling from Minnesota to California our transmission went out on the hwy. Searched for a Walmart, then started asking locals where to?Jesse from Street Motives sent us to Bill.They were closing but told us to come back in the morning.8am Bills son sees us walks up tell us the plan .6pm that evening were paying them a FRACTION of what people charge, ready to hit the road again.I thank them and their professional customer care and the timely manner this was done.Definitely a good shop.

I took my vehicle in for the transmition to be fixed, they fixed that then called me and let me know it also needed an alternator, they also fixed that at a real reasonable price... Thank you guys very much. I will be doing business with you guys again....

One of the best places in town to get you transmission worked.on. These guys really know their stuff. The local experts on anything thats power train related, 2-wheel or 4-wheel, front or back driven. No matter where you go in town for a rebuilt tranny, it will most likely be built here.

These guys are the best. I broke a flex plate while traveling through and they got me in and out in one day and even when I told them I didn’t need it they gave me a loaner car for free. I wish they were closer to me.

BG and S Transmissions were amazing!!! On a long trip from Los Angeles to Iowa we had our transmission completely go out, not allowing us to reach our destination. We called BG and S who calmly guided us to an amazing tow service, hotel and restaurant. They understood our predicament and went above and beyond in making the best of a bad situation. In regards to the repair, Bill communicated with us throughout the entire process, showed great concern and even adjusted their work list to help us get on our way. Sure enough, as promised by BG and S, we were on our way that evening. Be careful they switch transmissions instead of rebuilding your lower mileage one you could end up with an older year and with no drain plug like I did also check your battery the switched out my high dollar for a cheap quality type did not catch until it gave out.
