I wanted to edit my comment after working with Anderson CDJR a little longer. Most of the time when you edit comments, its to lower the score. Not with these guys. If I could increase to 10 stars I would. Ian - my sales rep was incredible. He was polite, timely, responsive, and so easy to work with. They were very up front and honest with me. I am buying a vehicle from out of state so I am having to fly into Omaha to pick it up. I was going to have to get a rental car and someone to come with me because the dealership in 2.5 hours from the airport. They offered to meet me at the airport. Incredible service. I was blown away they even offered to do that. I highly recommend doing business with Anderson. If your experience is anything like mine, you will be filling out a 5 star review too.

Ian was extremely helpful in finding me my new truck. He stayed after it for a couple months until we found the right vehicle. He was knowledgeable and didnt get scared during the test drive. Negotiations went smoothly to where we came to an agreement of where I wanted to be pricewise and they gave me a fair trade in on my old truck. I strongly recomend Ian and the sales manager at Andersons on Locust St.

Not happy that when they rotated my tires in April they didnt have the tool to reset the tire pressure monitors- so when it said my front tire was low and I added air to it, it continued to get lower and the back tire was being over inflated....I went to a funeral in Omaha on Tuesday, took my children all over Wednesday.....those tires could have blown at anytime causing an accident. The people who helped me when I brought it in not understanding why it wasnt reading correctly told me what was going on and said I should have been told back in April. All in all, since everything worked out without issue- and I try to understand everyone makes mistakes and they corrected the problem Im happy with the final outcome!

I wish I could give this place a -100. I called and spoke to a sweet women with her boss in the room since she was new. After stating MULTIPLE times I was pre approved and to not check my credit again, unfortunately they did after I was off the phone with them. So now they have a fraud case. It is illegal and they know it. I left a message for the sales manager for a return call and never received it. No surprise. They know what they did was wrong. These people are SHADY! Beware!! This isn’t the first time I’ve heard they have bad business.

The folks at Anderson jeep of grand isle are awesome! We were on a trip home to northern Illinois from Colorado and the TPI showed we lost quite a bit of tire pressure. We drove through town looking for a tire shop and happened upon Andersons jeep dealer. It was before 7am opening but the service people got us in and fixed our tire right away! We were back on the road before 7:45 that morning. What luck running into such friendly people who made sure were on the road quickly and safe! Thanks to the Anderson service department for helping us out!

Overpriced labor and tried to charge for unneeded parts. Charged for 2 hours labor when I actually witnessed myself that it took only 20 minutes. This is very disappointing knowing how many other people probably are getting overcharged and just accept it.I spoke up and it paid off, charges reduced. This is not good customer service.

Oil changes and service in the past has soured us from doing anything with this company, however, we have two dodge vehicles and were stuck using them for recalls. I called their service center a month ago asking about our recalls we were alerted to by our cruise not working, local mechanic advises us about the recalls. Service lady says she will look and call me back. When she does, she states we will have to order one part from Denver, it will be here in 5 days and then well call and book your appointment. No problem I say. Two weeks go by with no call and so I call them back and get a new lady. She says they have no record at all of them ordering our parts or that we even talked with anyone. We have to wait another 5 days to actually order the part from Denver. All the recalls get completed, of course they want us to do another $1000 in maintenance with them that we decline. The recall doesnt fix the cruise and so they ask if we want to run the diagnostic to find the problem, we told them yes. That costs $130 to run a code that says we need another part fixed. Quoted us a price that we were un sure if was parts and labor or not. Our local mechanic quoted us $200 below that price, so my wife called and texted the service lady back to ask whether their quote was parts and labor or just parts, that was over a week and a half ago with no response. I will do my best to never go back. The second star is for their sales department, they are pretty decent folks, far above the service department.

Anderson CDJR of Grand Island has the worst service department that I’ve ever taken a vehicle to. Took my truck to have a oil leak looked at and had to call to see what they found out so I could have my truck back to get home from work. Dropped my truck off the get it fixed Tuesday night to get fixed was to they will have it 2 days cause it take 14 hour to fix called today on Thursday after work and was took they haven’t even started on it yet because they had a traveler come in and needed to get back on the road so my truck got pushed back but never got a phone call telling me anything. This will be the last time I take anything to this service department.

The service department dropped the ball.I left my vehicle off in the morning for an oil change. After work I stopped by and paid for the work. That was when the Service Advisor handed me a Repair Estimate listing several items that needed to be done to the vehicle. When I asked him about these items, he said that no one had inspected the vehicle to determine that these repairs needed to be made. These were just items that they normally did at 120,000 miles. My frustration is that they are recommending repair work that may not be needed. The are going through the motions.Next, the engine light was on when I dropped vehicle off and it was still on when I picked the vehicle up later that evening. I still do not know what is wrong with the engine. I dont understand why the technician/mechanic didnt determine why the light was on. Is that not a standard procedure? I am frustrated that it is up to a layman to diagnose the problem and determine what repair needs to be done. Honestly, had I been informed of the problem, I would have had the shop fix it that day.My experience with other dealers is that an inspection of the vehicle is performed to determine what repairs need to be done. Then I receive a call explaining why the engine light is on, what repairs needed to be made and the cost of those repairs. Then I am able to make an informed decision.I service my vehicles at the dealer and am willing to pay their higher rates in exchange for their expertise. I dont believe I received that from Andersons.

Had a 9:15am service scheduled with a vehicle I have bought from them and brought to them in the past. Arrived at 8:50 and left 3 hours later. They knew from previous service what type of oil I use but keep none on hand. Claimed they called all over town and no one had the oil I use. (Mobil 1 5w-40 full synthetic) which is pretty common. Told me they had Valvoline full synthetic and I agreed to use that. I caught it before they put it in that it was a synthetic blend. Miraculously they found the original oil I wanted and charged me $150 for 3 gallons when right next door at AutoZone they have it for $28 a gallon. Charged me $174 for fuel filters which it requires 2. I called another shop and they had the exact filters in a kit for $99. Put a bolt in my license plate bracket that was loose that fell out before I even got home 30 miles away. The bolts been an issue since I bought it brand new last November. Total bill was over $500 and thats after a 10 percent coupon. I own semis and I get a full service on the tractor and trailer for less than what I paid for the service on the pickup and it uses 10 gallons of full synthetic oil compared to the 12 qts the pickup takes. It will be my last time at that shop or the dealership and I bought 2 brand new vehicles from them last year.

**My vehicle has been at the service center of Anderson CDJR of Grand Island since July 17th. They have been trying to diagnose what is wrong with my vehicle but when one thing didn’t work they’d do another and since the first two things didn’t work they’d did another. I feel they were unprofessional when it came to my vehicle issue. They couldn’t give me a proper diagnostic for my vehicle and now i have to pay hundreds of dollars for services that are unsatisfactory. They still don’t know what’s wrong with my vehicle for over a month now! The companies integrity is not fulfilled and I have been waiting over a month for my vehicle to get back to me. I do not recommend this place for vehicle service or customer service.

Anderson Ram on South Locust in Grand island Nebraska. Sale me GMC Acadia needs a work and expect me to pay for it all. I need to replace my brake pads my brake rotor and change my brake fluid plus an air conditioner plus a transmission oil change. Plus another oil change And charge us for doing all this work 2,222.38 and I had this car since March. And today is June 28 2020. How can the car need is transmission fluid change and the brake fluid changed and a new air conditioner all at the same time? After I had it for 4 months but be technically about it Ive only had it for 3 months because they had to back order for a Cadillac converter day paid for. And Im thankful for that

This was my first visit to their service department. I brought my vehicle, 2019 Dodge Ram, in for its first oil change and tire rotation-which the first is covered by Anderson auto when you purchase a new vehicle from them. The staff was friendly, andthe service was performed in an acceptable time frame. When I got home I did notice that one of my valve steam caps was missing. Overall my experience was good and was what I’d expect when getting my vehicle serviced (minus the missing value steam cap).My recommendation to Anderson would be to look for ways to separate themselves from the competition by providing a unexpected WOW experience for a customer by doing things that customer dont and wouldn’t expect i.e. vacuuming their car etc. small details like this cost a dealership nothing and can have a significant impact on a customers future decision as to where they service and purchase their vehicles. Thanks again for the oil change!

My son lost the key to his Dodge pickup. They were able to create a key from the VIN number. Saved us a lot by not having to contact a lock smith and have them replace the key or ignition. Fast and friendly service was able to have done on my lunch break with time to spare. Clean and well light.

If I could give this review a 0 star I would, because it barely deserves 1 star. Sadly, Ill never again purchase ANY vehicle from this dealership. Upon receiving my vehicle (When it was Greg Young) my salesman, Miguel, was useless, lazy, and not helpful at all. There was no initial inspection completed on my vehicle, and the times I have brought it to the service department (even when it was both Greg Young and Anderson), I have only received one inspection, ONE! Even when I have requested one, it was never done. My husband is a auto technician, and he was completing some work to my vehicle he has found multiple problems that werent looked at nor completed; I was told my brakes were in good condition and come to find out they were not, among other issues that were neglected. My car was unsafe to drive due to the service departments negligence. I have twin boys and that was a hazard to them and myself. The Anderson company has never steered my family wrong, and this dealership is tarnishing that name and its disgusting! I will never step foot in this dealership EVER AGAIN! Nor will I have any work done to it.

Most car salesmen think their job is done after you sign your contract and drive off the lot, not Miguel. He goes above and beyond. I’ve had a few problems with my car (only had it for a month in a half) and Miguel makes himself readily available and always points me to the right department when I have questions. I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015. I love the vehicle but I am extremely disappointed and upset with the dealership. I bought my Jeep over a week ago and I have had to be in contact of at the dealership DAILY!!!!! If you like being offered a specific deal and then having it taken away then this is the place for you. I HATE HATE HATE buying vehicles, I don’t like looking at cars, test driving and then dealing with the back and forth with financing. I let the salesman know how much I hated this whole process and he assured me this would be the easiest car buys experience. This has been nothing but a nightmare. After signing all my papers I was given the keys and away I went with and empty gas tank........really? This is how you treat new customers??? We were told there was a second key fob that we had to track down and once my boyfriend drove between dealerships several times, we finally got it and it didn’t even work. I have been in contact with the dealership as they are supposed to be replacing the broken windshield. Well today was the day to get my new windshield and so we went at 9:30 am and guess what?!?!?!?! They ordered the wrong windshield, just one more thing to add to this fabulous car buying experience!!!!!! Thank you Anderson for my amazing Jeep but once you finally fully fulfill all your broken promises, I will never buy another vehicle from you ever. I will also let all my friends and family know how horrible you guys treat your customers.
