Not impressed at all.Purchased a pair of shoes which came without the shoe box. They came thrown loose in a shipping box that could have held three pair of the shoes purchased.I suppose thats why they have the word Economy in their name. Its economical to them to ship without having to spend the time and money looking around for the shoe box.Wrong color also!One and done with this outfit!

This is just a great place for all your needs but if you are looking for quality furniture, this is your place. It cost more money but it is built with quality.

If anyone deserves more than 10 Stars they do. Its a wonderful store. Im just visiting the area and I cant believe how much stuff is Under One Roof. You can essentially buy anything there. It is very well-stocked. They have an excellent selection of BBQ rubs. I never saw so many gloves in my life. From tools to work clothes they have all your needs.

He informed us of services we didn’t know Home of Economy offered, he was joyful, helpful, and he represented Home of Economy well. He makes me want to shop at Home of Economy more often!

Been shopping here for decades. Although their product lines have changed, you can still save money over purchasing the same items at Scheels or Cabelas.

The people that work there are always friendly. The prices are reasonable. You can find just about anything. The only thing I cant find there are watches. If you like Amish furniture, that is the place to go.

I love the variety of childrens toys you have and the selection of outdoor gear like hats and missions. Convenient location and the Grand Forks area and your staff is always happy and willing to help the customer know. The Amish furniture that you carry is beautiful.

They have a great selection of pellets for your Pellet grill! Also the best price in town!

Clean and friendly. Had everything I needed for some welding. Great selection of lincoln gear and a couple odds and ends I didnt think of along the way!

Great store with very friendly employees!

Employees were friendly enough but they dont sell tires like they used to. Had nothing I could use their. The associate show me where what was left of the tires were and said he would be there in a moment to help me out but he never showed up.

Dont stock anything really for farm and ranch anymore. Not enough help when your looking for something. And they closed at 6 pm on a Friday. Will not be wasting my time there anymore.

Asked to buy Primer for a paint project. The sales people told me that they dont sell primer of any sort! So I asked if I want primer I need to go shop somewhere else and then come back and get paint here? To which he replied yes sir we dont sell any form of primer for painting all we have is small spray cans! Wow

I very rarely post reviews, but I felt this review may save someone else time when furniture shopping.My wife and I have been looking for a large solid oak table for over a month. We wanted seating for 14. A friend referred us to Home Of Economy insisting that they carried very good quality furniture. I have been a Home of Economy shopper for a long while. However, I had never considered them for furniture...First of all, Home of Economy furniture is beautiful, well made, and fairly priced. Bob was the associated who assisted us with this purchase. Bob was extremely knowledgeable and a huge help with this purchase. Bob did not pressure us, and he easily guided us to exactly what we wanted.My wife and I will certainly purchase furniture from Home of Economy in the future.

Great place, but would be nice if open until 9. When working on a farm its a challenge to get there by closing as we like to make the most out of daylight.

Bought a water pump it said 48 hour return policy. It didnt work. They said since I used it I can return it. There is know way to know something works without using it. I would not recommend this store and there price are definitely not cheaper than anywhere else.update owner contacted me a while ago said it was to long since the issue with the pump happened. I used to buy all my work wear there as well. Wont recommend anyone to this store. And your lowest prices are a lie. Maybe if you barter with the clerk

Local department store with a great variety of items. Carhartt, Under Armour in the clothing department. They also have a large farm and auto selection. Their furniture department had a good see of high quality home furnishings. They carry almost anything Yeti you can imagine. Check them out!

Great place! Especially the guy that works there and is a HUGE Cowboys fan! He also is known for his beard of Zeus. But seriously, it is a well maintained store for all your shopping needs.

Great store! Has pretty much anything you need. Fifty cents coffee! Had everything except Milwaukee m12 series tools. A little disappointed, but fifty cents coffee made up for it.

Great store! I live far away but visit Grand Forks (and the store) about every other year since 1970. Prices are fair and the people are nice and helpful. One of the many reasons I like this store is ‘IT AIN’T WALMART’! Which is another reason to support this local gem!

Canning and dehydrating equipment and supplies and a automotive center for all your car needs. Everything from a to z for your home. There is also a snack bar and the staff is friendly and willing to help you find what you need or just answer your questions.

Its more than a work clothes store. Although they do have a very good selection of quality, work clothes. They also have hardware and implements for home, farm and garden. I bought an office chair from them at a very reasonable price.

This is local store where you can buy hunting, winter, and construction gears such as boots, coats, pants, gloves & appliances. You can also buy furniture, beddings, and other home improvement items. Very organized, quiet, and has spacious free parking lot. Liked visiting and will do again.

Im from Winnipeg a visit Grand Forks is required twice a year...haha I enjoy shopping with my wife we always go to Home of Economy when we come.The stuff they sell always fits my needs.. I was told by the locals to go to Home of Economy for a tomato juicer thats just fantastic for canning. Gloves and mitts, Carhartts for ice fishing, tackle, the staff is always friendly theres always stuff to see. Great place

A little bit of almost everything. Very good sporting goods, work clothing (carhartt, etc), and boots sections.They also serve lunches at their snack bar. I recently had the hot pork sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and it was very good.

Really live up to there name as far as winter gear goes usually go here. They do more then winter gear though, their is a little bit of everything here they got paint, furniture,grocery,piping you name it they also have a shop on the side of the store thats worth noting.

Always interesting going shopping here. Staff is always friendly and they always have something Im looking for.

Same items you can find elsewhere only much more expensive. Example, diamond dog food 34.95, same dog food at Menards this week 28.95. A buissnes in decline, Home of Economy was a one point was a great place to find small engine parts, tires, v-belts farm equipment parts. Now it seems they wont even try to make the store relevant.

Always find items that I cant find anywhere else.

They have good close. One improvement they can make is to carry a bigger variety of bigger guys clothes. I love Carheart brand.
