My husband and I have been in the market to trade in our 2011 Chevy Cruise for a new car for a few weeks, after finding the perfect contender, we drove from Beaufort (1.5 hours) on a Saturday to hopefully finalize the deal. Michael immediately helped us, showing us several options, he made us feel welcome, unlike anywhere we had previously been. We are both young in our 20s, which sometimes gets us the short end of the stick in situations like this, but Michael treated us with respect and like family.Stokes offered well over what other dealerships had on our trade, and honored our pre approval with Capital One with ease. Emily in finance was also super knowledgeable and helpful in answering all of our questions regarding our auto loan as well as the process for the state since we moved from Ohio, and things are a bit different. We weren’t rushed even though the dealership had closed by this time and Michael personally cleaned the our new 2021 Rio S to the best of his ability since the car wash people had left for the night. We will definitely be back for any future needs and service, and are so thankful for the help we received.

I purchased a 2014 Kia and had an issue with the indicator lights, not knowing what it meant. I took my car to Stokes Kia in Goose Creek and was greeted with a smile by Service Advisor Josh Balliet. He immediately diffused the problem, explained exactly what was going on and had the matter taken care of. He also went a step further and had my car checked for any other issues and advised it was time for an oil change which I did not hesitate to have it changed. I appreciate the patience and kindness that I received. I believe that Josh will be going up the ladder with Kia if he continues to provide the great customer service and assistance that I received to others.

I initially purchased a Kia Soul from here from salesperson Owen. The price was very competitive compared to other local options and they vehicle history showed only one owner and that the vehicle has been serviced through Stokes Kia. Excellent!A week later, the vehicle ended up having an issue with one of the censors. This particular part is electrical...there would have been no way they couldve caught this issue before it happened.Even though Stokes Kia sold me the car as-is, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get this issue fixed...and even quicker than I wouldve thought! A special shout out goes to Mr. Dale with the service department for reaching out to me and making it all happen.Honestly, I was amazed. Stokes Kia has set the bar for car dealerships VERY high. They are redefining what it means to buy a used car. I have been burnt by car dealerships in the past and it has left me wary and stressed whenever I find myself in need of a new vehicle.Stokes has changed that...not only will I be going to them first in the future, but I would recommend anyone else do the same. My wife now has a reliable vehicle with working A.C., and I couldnt be happier with my experience.

My seatbelt wouldn’t retract and Stokes Kia wouldn’t even take a look at it. You’d think, considering this was an important safety feature, that they would at least try to work with me. NOPE! I respectfully do not recommend this place handle your service. I went to another dealership (KIA) located near west Ashley and they were swamped but insisted that the vehicle be fixed NOW.. ya know.. because they care. Thank God for KIA Country.

After all the advertising you hear on the radio, I was excited to go and look at a new KIA.They were nice and welcoming online to schedule me in for a test drive. Thats where the good service ended.I was interested in a Kia Soul GT or Turbo. They only had the GT on the lot.The car was freshly delivered and still coated in plastic, I was only permitted to drive around the parking lot.I then asked how much how they would offer for my old car. I got a quote from them looking at the outside of the vehicle.The quote I got for financing the Soul came off as we dont care about you and dont really want to sell you this car.I was told that this was a luxury car and that I should expect to pay luxury prices. Last I checked the Soul was the lower priced of the Kia SUVs.I had the option to transfer the turbo from another dealer.We scheduled a test drive at the other dealer and proceeded to purchase from them as their attitude as amazing.Stokes Kia, you lost my business. Maybe put a little more effort into the sale? Dont judge a book from its cover.

I was in town for work and looked online to see if they had a specific car in stock, it said it was there. I called for 3 days to confirm it being there, no one ever answered. I tried the chat with us function on their Website, got a robot (one that also said the specific car was on the lot). I drove across town only to find a very bare lot (which I don’t hold against them)— a salesman sitting in a chair outside watching me ride by and walk around… never once got up to help me or anyone else for that matter. Service department no appts available for month or more no professionalism whatsoever so basically they sale you a car and extended warranties that they have no service professionals to do the work. My car is in for a new engine. It was a recall issue. Could possibly take weeks. I was told that they had no cars to loan/rent me. If I wanted to rent a car elsewhere, they would reimburse me $35 per day.First off, why should I pay anything at all? Its a recall!I pay my car payment and keep up with maintenance. This was a manufacturing error.Stokes Kia, Im so disappointed. This is my second car purchased from you. You can bet there wont be a 3rd. I always liked you, you did right by me.. but you are clearly not taking customer service to the level it should be in this case. You are not taking full responsibility for this .

I had 3 recalls done on my 2013 kia optima sxl on July 30th 2021, on August the 3rd my car went in limp mode......took it back to stokes was in informed that I needed an engine, the only good part about this whole situation is that the engine is under warranty but the turbo charge is on back order......I have been without a car for 2 months, no loaner car and it will take 6 to 8 weeks to get some of my money back for a rental.......this has been one of the worst experiences in my life....customer service is horrible, no updates on my vehicle have been given not less I called to check on the status and their attitude is very nonchalant.....very disappointing

The overall experience was unpleasant and second-class. It must be a privilege to buy a vehicle from the dealership, that is certainly how I felt leaving the place of business. See below pricing, the vehicle was priced to us above the 36k threshold, they said take it or leave, weve been selling all day.. it will sell..also, the 34k pricing was said to us as not suppose to be on there.Best advice: dont look at any online pricing, it will not be honored at the dealership. False advertisement at its best! Said pricin, the excuses... thats just the MSRP for that vehicle, it says see stokes for pricing, the dealership looks to take advantage of the consumer given the current market. Not the place to strike the deal!

Terrible service was very bad for me .. on the first visit the seller was super rude then he would show me a super dirty car with broken glass seats broken ask the seller if they fixed that since I went there for photos from the internet and the car He did not look like that and he was quite curt with his answers .. they approved the credit for the purchase and I saw the car from afar and it is already perfect but I will really look for another stokes where they can take it since I am not going to return to this site! very bad service. And if you want the car and I have it approved, just go and sign .. but the attention was so bad that I prefer to buy it in another agency

I will take some blame because I couldnt drive the car. But it now needs a new transmission and the tires need to be replaced. Thank you Josh and the great employees in the service department. The door handle fell off our Sorrento rear passenger door where the baby sits. After calling Kia of Charleston and they would not even consider working us in. We called Stokes Kia. We were concerned that first responders would not be able to get the baby out. Josh and the crew at Stokes Kia got right on it even though they were as slammed with cars. They realized how concerned we were and fixed our Sorrento in thirty minutes.Thank you guys for all you do.

Owen was absolutely the best sales man I have ever dealt with. He was not pushy with me and he let me take my time in responses to him. He did everything over the phone through texting for me because I was at work the whole time. When I came in he had everything ready to go for me and I spent only an hour vs 4 or 5 hours compared to my normal experience buying a car. He checked up on me a few days later and I feel like he really does care about his job a lot.

Had my car towed there because that was closest dealership. After a week found out the engine needs replaced, which according to service could be a use engine. No rental or loaners and rental company, whom i was told i am on wait list, doesnt know anything about my request. Like going to Dr with broken arm and being told we will fix but cant give you a cast while it heals. Wish i gone somewhere else. So far a miserable experience. No car for what could be a month unless i find rental and pay because kia/fidelity (warranty company) not honoring there word. Needed to update my review. Cole managed to find me a loaner/ rental to use. Great help. Also managed to get fidelity warranty company to not use a used engine instead will be rebuilding.

If I could give no stars I would. They took my car and stated that under a recall my engine failed and I am out a car until they get a new engine in. They refuse to give me a Courtisy car and refuse to help me any farther. I am a driver for a living and have 3 kids. They think its okay for you to be out a car of your cars engine fails, and they wont give you a loaner due to lack there of. Yeah okay. I highly advise against buying a kia from stokes kia. 👌

Do not i repeat DO NOT buy a car here!! I bought my car here last year (certified preowned) and 2 weeks after I bought it and drove it off the lot it had an AC issue. It was fixed and now a year later the entire AC system doesnt work again. I bought extended warrantee and service package with them which means NOTHING apparently because they wont see me for at least a month (unless I want to drop my car off with them for MINMUM 3 business days) and they want me to pay $225 just to have my AC issue diagnosed. Geralds will do for HALF THE PRICE!! Seriously, dont go here.

I purchased a 2021 Kia Sportage back in November of 2020. I called today to schedule my service appointment, and I was hung up on 3 times by Cole and Shelia. They had no availability until late April to service the vehicle which is fine however I have several trips planned and wanted to make sure that if I was a couple hundred miles over that they wouldn’t void my warranty or maintenance package. Shelia was unable to help me and gave me an extension to call back instead of transferring me. Then when I called the extension and explained my concerns to Cole, I asked if my car had to be serviced at this location or if I could take it to any Kia since my maintenance package is with Kia not this specific dealership and Cole hung up on me. So I called Kia Country in West Ashley and they were more than accommodating and got me schedule for a service within 5 days.
