This is a Verizon store. We went there for information only. There was a manager whos only job apparently is to check customers in to wait to be helped. There were multiple people waiting to be helped. There were at least 2 who only required a simple look up of Information, maybe 5 minutes max. Instead of helping get customers out quicker, everyone has to wait for a rep to finish. The manager stood around much longer between singing in customers than it would have taken to complete what 2 customers needed. Youd think good customer service would be better served another way.

I want to touch a phone before I buy it, but Verizon just stares at me through the locked doors and closed their shutters 10 min before their current 6pm close time.I just want to be acknowledged, then I can wait in the car, or whatever. Don’t leave me standing outside freezing. Headed to the Apple Store.

I had originally went to an authorized reseller of Verizon but because some of the services I needed where only available from a cooperate store, I came to this place.Reception at the storeWas never greeted, no sign up sheet, nothing. There was one couple in front of me being helped. There were 4 other employees that ignored me. 2 were having a conversation and 2 were on their phones.Eventually James broke away from his conversation and asked what I wanted.The service I wanted was to have a number recycled. James stated that only another co-worker that was not working that day could help. When I asked when the co-worker would be in store again, he said, Sorry I cannot give out that information. To be clear I was asking when he was working again, not his home address and blood type.I told him I wanted a Samsung S21 he said they didnt have them in stock, only any iPhone. If I really wanted an S21 it could be ordered and would arrive at the store in 2 weeks and would cost me $800 and he was sorry, could not take my phone as a trade in.I know from the authorized Verizon reseller that would give sell me the S21 for $400 with a trade in, which I had also seen on the Verizon corporate web site.When I told him he said he sorry, I dont know where you got this info, but its not true. When I told him where the info came from, he said, sorry I couldnt help you.Avoid this place.

My wife and I are 65 years old. The employee spoke to us in a very condescending & disrespectful manner. She talked to us like we were children. She assumed we knew nothing about advancing phone technologies. I work in a very technological field myself. I will never allow her to “serve” us again.
I wanted badly to give them five stars, their coverage is truly that much better than everyone elses. You can even get their coverage from a straight talk phone in Walmart. At my most recent encounter at the Verizon store on Berkeley boulevard in Goldsboro North Carolina I had the privilege of dealing with probably, the most knowledgeable, honest and, efficient sales professional I have ever encountered. However, I believe that was the exception not the rule, When I compare that to previous experience and the sentiment of many others. While the coverage will be equal from a straight talk plan, the halfway decent customer service at the Verizon store, is still better than the 0 customer service from straight talk. So yes absolutely, you will not find better coverage on anything, be it voice, data, hotspots, you name it. All around, hands down, best coverage everywhere. The best individual customer service rep in the world, works at Verizon. As a whole however, the best overall customer service reside primarily with you in US Cellular with the caveat of sub-par coverage.

The staff was nice enough, but there was no “business” rep available, so I had to call a rep for my order. This was a huge mistake....after more than 50 emails with my rep, and 25 hours on the phone, we still have not gotten our situation handled. After talking to 10 different people, I have been told 10 different things. My sales rep answers about 1 out of 5 emails, again with no help. It’s really sad that business accounts really don’t have anywhere to go locally, because there is no accountability on the phone....I have never seen such poor customer service....

I have no idea how they got a 4.0 but it is what it is. This location need some corrective training. If I could give this location no stars at all, I would. I went to this location about 4/5 days ago. The representative I spoke with was not nice at all and she was quick to turn me away instead of fixing a simple issue I had with my cellphone. No I did not have an appointment and I did ask could I make one but she didnt even answer my question. I tried to explain to her that I was from out of town and that the Verizon rep I spoke with on the phone sent me there. She was so busy rushing me off and telling me to go the the other location. Explain to her again that I am from out of town and have no idea where Rosewood shopping center is. I even asked her for the address and she told me that she did not know the address. I looked at her in confusion and asked her could she look it up and she told me no. She had a Verizon company tablet in her hand, so I am pretty sure that she could had looked it up. The only Verizon customer that was standing outside was nice enough to help this disabled veteran out. He not only gave me the address but directions as well. I will say this though, next time I am in town and I have to go to Verizon, I will make the trip to Rosewood shopping center location instead

This is your typical Verizon phone store. Right now because of Covid 19, the doors are locked. You have to be let in by an employee and they only allow one person per family to enter to take care of business. Some of the associates who work there are nice and extremely helpful. A few are not as good. We dealt with one of the good associates today. They do not have cases and other accessories on display anymore either.
Service was prompt and courteous.
Everyone here was extremely helpful with the situations Ive had whether it was upgrading or a damaged phone. They were eager to help and very knowledgeable. The store was clean and organized which makes looking around super easy.
Matt at Verizon was Amazing! My husband and I were switching from another carrier. Matt made it a smooth transition and helped us get what we needed! In and out with 3 new phones in an hour and a half! What would have made it 5 stars is that if he explained our upcoming charges for our first bill more in depth. Would totally recommend anyone to him wanting to switch. An A in my book!

Store Has Been Redesigned. Very confusing layout. Very hard to keep track of what place a customer is for service. The staff,however, are very helpful and are customer friendly. The low rating only reflects the store customer procedures.

I can not remember who we dealt with when we picked up our new phones that we ordered. He was very helpful and did his best to try to keep our old numbers. While he was able to transfer my number, he wasn’t able to transfer my husband’s. He did his best and we thank him for trying.The next day I went back for an unrelated issue and the guy that helped me fixed the issue and didn’t make me feel silly for not knowing what I was doing. (Previous android user switched to iPhone).
Employees speak nicely but will tell you a lie looking straight in your eyes in order to make a sale. If I could give negative rating, I would. I have been customer for years but this year, Sprint is looking good. Can you hear me now?
I was greeted and helped in less than 10 minutes total, in and out... I have been in there where it was packed but when there are not too many customers they wait on you very good... The guy I spoke to was very helpful.
They have improved over the years. Came in to activate a tablet for data. Local franchise location wanted $20 for a Sim card. Was in and out in 15 min

The only time I had good service here was when I bought my phone. Every time Ive been back for an issue they pass me off and dont listen to what the problem is, found them to be very rude and considering leaving Verizon if this is how they treat customers.

Today was the worst customer service Ive experienced anywhere. They no longer assist customer in activating phone. When I asked why, the sales person stated it was their goal to get us out of there a quickly as possible. Well he succeeded, but I spend about an hour on the phone with tech support to get the new phone activated. Wont go back.

I have been a customer of first Alltel and then Verizon for as long as I have had a cell phone. I have always received great customer service until one day last week. I broke the screen on my phone...I stopped in on a Friday to find put how to use my phone insurance. The guy who helped me (no name tag) was amazing. He looked my phone number up and advised a phone replacement using my insurance. He told me to order the phone Monday and bring it on Tuesday and they would help me switch everything over. I did what he suggested!Tuesday evening I stopped in to Verizon with my replacement phone for help. I was told by another store worker (again no name tag) that We dont do that! I explained to him that the worker on Friday said they did. I asked him what I needed to do to do it myself and he reluctantly helped me (letting me know how put out he was). The funny thing was he tried to sell me two more products before I left. If he had had been a little more polite I may have been receptive to his suggestions, as it was I just wanted out of the store.My experience was vastly different between the two employees. My suggestion would be to ask for another worker if you arent getting the customer service you want with the first.

My family went in to switch over a while ago, bracing ourselves for the slow, painful process of switching both networks and phones, but we were surprised with how easy the process was with assistance here! Tried to upgrade to the LG V50 but the guy there didnt know his job. Had no idea about the $450 trade in deal and thought the dollar amount was based on the phone rather than every phone on the list being $450. Lost sale...Follow up to this post. Switched to ATT in May and saved/will save over $2000 for the 2 1/2 year life of my contract. Was worried about ATT coverage after 18 years with Verizon but have had ZERO ISSUES. So glad I made that move. Hey Verizon...can you hear me now?

Came looking for a case and a screen protector for my Pixel 3 XL, walked out with one of the best case and screen protector. A little pricey but not much different if I were to order them directly online.
I had no trouble buying the phone but when I called today they were very rude. The gentleman said look Im going to explain this one time and all I wanted to know was could I go into my own prepaid plan. Finally after being very rude I got my information......I will never go back here. there are plenty of other stores around.....
Many of the products sold here can be bought from the manufacturer much cheaper which means they mark up well beyond suggested. For example, they were selling the printer mod for the Moto z 2 at $120.00. you can buy this from Moto website for only $40.00. Thats a massive markup.

I am not currently a Verizon customer. I am excited for the new Pixel 2 XL from Google and as Verizon is the exclusive carrier for this phone, I was seriously considering switching over to get my hands on this device (Ive been with Sprint since my first mobile device in 2002). I stopped by on my lunch break today to test drive this phone. The phone is not yet released to the public, and Verizon stores are the only place to go see them. I walked in and a man at the counter who was helping another customer did acknowledge my presence, but was understandable unable to assist me. I immediately located the display on my own and walked over to it, only to find that the New Google Flagship, with all the hype, is dead and will not turn on. I waited in line at the counter a while, to see if an associate could help me get power to the device to look at it. After a few long minutes, a lady that was seemingly annoyed to even have to talk to me, asked if I was being helped. She appeared to be a manager, at least by the different shirt she was wearing. I told her that I wasnt, and that I was looking at the Pixel 2 XL, but it wasnt powering up. I asked if she could help me by plugging in the power that is locked under the display counter. She did come look at the phone for about 5 seconds and advised me that the security tether that also provides the power, was broken. She then told me that the Pixel 2 (smaller version) was the same thing. ERRRRR, no its not, they arent even made by the same manufacturer. She walked away after hastily telling to just look at the smaller one. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I dont think that it would be much trouble to check under the display and ensure that the cord is plugged in... or maybe swap it out with another, less BRAND NEW AND HYPED MODEL. Maybe selling a $900 phone to me wasnt a high priority for her? I am not going to go back. I went ahead and pre-ordered mine on the Google Store and will just play with it when it comes in the mail in 2 weeks.
I went to verizon in hopes of purchasing an iphone 7. I dont like to get the newest thing due to money and the fact that I dont need it. I dealt with 2 different associates that both made rude comments about me not going for the newest trend. The lady that I dealt with cashed me out for my new phone, and took it upon herself to get me a new charger, screen protector, and case with the statement that it will just be charged to your account without any comment about price until I flat out asked. When I told her I wasnt interested, she commented that I had already cracked my current phone screen so that was awfully brave. I have NEVER dealt with such rude staff. I understand trying to make a sale... but these people are flat out rude. If I hadnt already been in the checkout process, I would not have purchased anything from them. I will not be returning to Verizon on North Berkeley.
We were lied to. During the bogo deal in February we were told by the sales rep that the second iPhone 8 is completely free after we pay the taxes on it. We clarified several times to make sure that it was free. A few months later Verizon is charging us for the second one. Went in to talk to the sales rep about it and even though she doesn’t remember us, she remembers that she never told us that it was free. Wow.
I literally walked in and didn’t get any service at all. 5 more people walked in after me and got service soon as they step foot in the door. All 5 were white as well. I didn’t receive any service until I said something about it.. Very bad service.

My mother was recently trapped in NC due to hurricane Matthew; she was trying to get back home to Virginia. She was traveling alone and she is 77 years old. She is NOT helpless. Unfortunately, the flooding stopped her in Goldsboro, NC were she had to stay for a couple of days. The local people there were fantastic and were very helpful and just, well, wonderful. Because of the situation and her trying to communicate with family, etc. her cell phone had run low on minutes and power. (She needed help getting minutes and possibly a car charger.) She was directed to the Verizon Store in Goldsboro, NC.She goes to the store. When she asked for help. She was told that because she was out of state, they could not help her. That was it. Really?!?! International company with a store in every zip code could not help my mother!?!?! They denied her service; they denied her help. They OFFER ZERO assistance. They offered ZERO alternative solutions. They as human beings did not even offer her kindness. I really HOPE that this is just a reflection of THAT store and it’s poor excuse for human beings is isolated to this location! If I happened to be a Verizon employee and an AT&T customer walked into my store needing help - I would have helped them-period Maybe I would not gain a new customer, but, my own integrity would have reflected positively on my employer.In order this to post the system required me to click a star.... they do not deserve this star...... please, do not give this store your business.

Wow, talk about a waste of time! Before I went to this store I looked up on the Verizon website the costs of adding a new line and upgrading 2 phones using a promotion for a BOGO phone. The quote that I was given was not making any sense so I wanted to talk to a real person to get the facts. The employees could not give me a straight answer on what it would cost me to upgrade or to add a line! They gave me 3 different costs and told me that it would be easier if I was to do it online myself and just pick up the phone from their store once ordered. I have no idea what the point of this store is as they no longer do tech support or are able to help you with your account or changing around items on your plan. After an hour wasted in here I ended up doing it online and I guess it will just cost what it costs. I decided to just have the phones shipped to my house as I have 0 confidence in this place.

I have gone there multiple times to get my phone fixed and it wasnt until the 3rd time that one employee knew exactly what to do which was nice but it was a pain in the process. I went to the store to in early january to cancel my verizon contract and was told that my last bill would be in january and i have been charged for february. they say they have no record of me being at the store and therefore i cannot be refunded my money. Do not go here!
