This store is well run and professional. Shout out goes to Beverly and Oscar when they helped me with a package I needed to be sent and returned back to the store. Appreciated getting a phone call from the store when the package returned back to store to come pick it up. Overall appreciated the help they gave me with my shipping needs.
This UPS Store in Golden has handled my mail for almost 5 years. That is a long time to experience how a business is run. I cannot say enough good things about this business and its employees. They constantly deal with a customer base that is sometimes patient and understanding and sometimes, not. I have witnessed first hand their patience and knowledge in dealing with customers and they are fantastic.I looked at the lower ratings here, not understanding how these could be valid and I see that most of them are due to process issues which are completely out of control of the the Store itself. I can vouch that they do their utmost to help customers get their tasks completed in the most efficient and cost effective way. I HIGHLY recommend this Store for any tasks that need to be done as they are pleasant and as helpful as they can possibly be!!

Went to mail out a large package today after pricing it on the UPS website. This location. Charge 21.37 more than the website said it would cost to ship.When I brought this to the lady attention she said it was because this store is independently owned and there for adds surcharges.Great service but to charge more than UPS actually charges to ship? Ill be going elsewhere.

I was disappointed at another UPS Store and came to the Golden store. Thank goodness I did. Oscar (the owner) and Beverly were phenomenal !! I called ahead to ensure this store knew how to handle UPS COD. While I was driving there, they went online and researched the procedure to ensure they could help me.We decided to use a different procedure and Oscar stayed with me the entire time to get my packages shipped properly. This is a top notch store with top notch people. I would actually give them 6 stars if I could.Lorri
I would highly recommend this UPS Store. They went above and beyond for me for several years while I was away from CO traveling. They would send me my mail once a month to wherever I was. Always polite and courteous. If I still lived in CO, I would still be with them and using their services.

Had about 40 boxes that needed shredding. Called ahead and they said “no problem.” Showed up and it was full, but they’d be happy to store it for me. Guess how much 40 boxes of paper shredding costs at UPS? $960!! Yup. A thousand bucks. RIPPED OFF
Went in to drop off a package for a return, staff was courteous and friendly. I think its clear that most of the negative reviews you see here are outliers.Only complaint is that they require you to purchase packing tape if you need to seal your box. Would be nice if they had a community roll but I suppose that you have to make money somehow.

Wow, some people here in the comments! I will say, you create your own perception of reality.. Every time I have gone in the Golden UPS store I have been met with excellent customer service. The owner showed us some of his photography books while he helped us set up our box. He was patient, kind and attentive to our millions of questions. Beverly is the best, if shes not in there I feel like my package picking up experience was incomplete. When I wait in line I can see people coming in, they know nearly everyones name and are much liked in the area by locals. I would absolutely recommend this store to others.. unless theyve made it their full time hobby to review businesses and look for things wrong, because youll always find something to complain about with that viewpoint.
I visit them almost daily and Im presented with only the upmost respect, hospitality and professionalism I have ever seen. Hands down the best ups store I have ever done business with Im Colorado.

The driver who supposed to deliver to my address did not tell the truth twice:1- One day he claimed that he could not deliver because of the snow, however that day there was no snow in the whole city.2- The second time he left us a sticker saying on it that he is coming the next delivery day while he put in the system that the package will be delivered to the UPS Access point. This was the first contradiction.3- The second contradiction, when I called the customer service, the lady (I have her name) said the driver says he is almost at the UPS Access Point to deliver the package, while the UPS Access Point has been closed 6 hours ago already !?!By the way, in both instances the packages to be delivered were medications!
Wow UPS needs to get a handle on their franchises. Aside from the fact that the employees that work here are unfriendly and just plain rude. The owner apparently wants to nickel-and-dime for every little bit of money he can. They wanted to charge me a $1.50 to print a UPS label I already paid for.

In my twenty-five years of business dealings, I have never met a more presumptuous, smug and uncaring business owner - a completely inept communicator. Avoid this location - Google UPS Store and go to the next closest, its worth the drive. Also, there is a FedEx Store just down S Golden Rd - their rates are typically cheaper these days anyway.*Update* - Lol, your response is classic. My company had a box at your location for years and I cant count on two hands the number of my team members who complained to me about your attitude - including one of the owners - whether in person or over the phone. I no longer have the key to your location, that is why I always showed up during business hours only. I do not appreciate your public accusation regarding the note but will not apologize for whoever left it.I am not interested in defaming you on social media (although you clearly are interested in doing that yourself) - I assume you mean because I cant have my way. My way was to continue using your location, regardless of your poor attitude. Instead, you decided to not allow us to renew our box but did not reach out to let me know this. I received a call from one of your employees warning me that you decided not to renew us and that I should get down there to pick up some packages that you planned to dispose of. You, in fact, appear incapable of resolving an issue btween two parties. I simply want people to know what they can expect if they choose to do business with you.I am a very active reviewer on Google Maps. It takes a lot to draw a 1-star review from me and anyone who looks at my contributions will see that the majority of my reviews are 5-star. I let that record stand for itself. The alarming number of low reviews on your profile also speak for themselves, as do your aggressive public responses - displaying for all your arrogant and uncaring attitude. Add to that your negative BBB reviews and at some point you will have to consider that maybe the paying customers are not the problem; especially if you hope to sell your business and retire, as is rumored. I hope you do and Golden gets the UPS Store it deserves.

I accidentally dropped a fedex package off and they either stole it or trashed it because it was not there when I went back. It was my mistake, but really? They could have held on to it.

I went to buy a prepaid UPS Label envelope for my Passport to be sent from San Francisco Embassy to my home. I asked for that because my country embassy in San Francisco will ship the passport to my house in Golden, Colorado after my fingerprints appointment is done in SF.After I explained what I need it to the owner of the store, he refuses to do the service, saying they couldnt do that, he asked me for my phone number to check in the system and he said I was not in their system and he couldnt do what I was asking for. He told me that because I was not in the system he cant offer me any service. Ive lived in Golden since 2001 and I perfectly know the owner and her employee, is the only UPS store Id been using in 16 years. Immediately after that, I went to the closest UPS store and in less than 5 min I got the prepaid envelope for my passport. I went back and showed to them that they refused to their job only because I had an accent and they were discriminating against me. I went to showed the prove to the employee who was hiding on the corner, I told her what they were doing was wrong and I wanted to explained to the owner (who didnt want to come to the front) . I told them they were discriminating me because of my accent, she literally almost pushed me out of the door with my son beside me, telling me bye bye with a rude voice and attitude and body language. I am really disappointed that in my home town that I had leave for 16 years now, and where I believed is now my home town, (I became a US Citizen 6 years ago), there are still people that suppose to do services worldwide they are discriminating their own customers and refuse to service everybody in a fair way.
