My husband and I had the best experience selling some coins to this family owned shop. It was like a walk through history with all the knowledge he shared about the coins. I highly recommend selling and buying coins, guns or ammo.I appreciated the professionalism and that he took the time to go through the gray sheet book to show me the prices for the items I sold. Girlfriend and I stopped here after an hour stroll of walking up and down clear creek, when we decided to stop here again. We had showed up a week earlier, but alas they’re closed on Sunday and Monday.I’m not sure if it was because of our age, or what we were wearing; it was most likely a combination of both. The woman behind the counter was surprisingly aloof towards us upon entry. (Perhaps a bunch of punk kids from Golden are always snooping around here?)Some coin dealers accept credit card, this one however doesn’t. I told the woman that we would be back from the bank shortly with cash, (quite a few banks are located within walking distance to this place) and we arrived back after about ten minutes.I picked out a few silver coins for purchase and the woman’s mood was suddenly nicer than before. She was much more positive and appreciative to answer my questions on items.Overall I’m happy with my purchases today, I like to randomly buy bars or rounds; and this place is down the street from where my pops lives.Will be back, just don’t know when.

I had some gold coins that my father had given me over the years, I’ve been saving them for a rainy day expense. My brother in law has sold some coins to these folks before an recommended them, what a great recommendation!Dealing with the two gentlemen at the counter was a pleasure from the moment I walked in, they were very professional and informative on many topics aside from the coins I had.Very fair in prices both in buying and selling, I didn’t buy anything but they have an extensive collection of coins and firearms.It is rare today to have such a wonderful experience in any business, I would highly recommend anyone to use this establishment for any gold/ silver transaction or purchasing a firearm.Thank you!

Very fair and friendly purchaser of 10oz silver bars. A little difficult to see the shop, but well worth visit. Had to present ID and fill out form stating the metals were my property.

I felt very good when I entered. the owners were extremely professional and did not discriminate me because of my young age. they were very helpful and had everything I needed. Next time im in Denver I definitely will stop by. definitely come here if your looking for a nice ma and pa shop.

These guys have the lowest firearm transfer fees of anyone Ive found in the Metro area. Theyre fast and personable; easy to deal with. Great prices on firearms, both in stock and ordered in. They constantly beat others prices. Check around and then come in to Wild West Traders.

A Disappointing choice for selling coins. I noticed the strong reviews were mostly from buyers, and none are recent, so I half expected a low-ball offer: I got two. I mentioned the offers were not even close to the melt-value, and the owner chimed-in to address the silver content and commonness of my coin, which did not explain why his offer was 42% below spot. SO, I Went to Daves Gold & Silver Exchange and got melt-value with the first offer. Daves saves a lot of time.

I had some coins and some scrap, and I carried them around Denver for a month and a half, just to see who would offer me what, and in the end these very polite and knowledgeable gentlemen gave me 23% more than the next closest offer, and 30% more than the best prices in Denver over in Littleton. Best coin store I have ever been to! The guys at Wild West Traders are super polite, knowledgable, and honest. Their selection of silver is incredible and well taken care of. I have seen stores that sell silver bullion for much more over spot that are poorly taken care of. Just about every silver coin that gets sold from this store looks in great shape and comes with a hard and clear plastic cover. I have several coin stores that are closer to my residence in Boulder but nothing worth going to compared to these guys in quantity, quality, and value (at least in silver). My main interest is in silver animal coins but my father in-law was looking for some rare indian head cents. These guys had two of the three he was looking for. So apparently they have a good selection for those types of coins as well. I cant say enough good things about this place.
