First time to try PCR, mostly because of the highly inclusive name and insane ratings. Did not disappoint. Ordered a simple brewed coffee(java) that was perfect and enjoyed the sunshine on the side of the building. Great spot!

Great little coffee shop. Seemed to be really popular with Mines (Engineering College in Golden) students. It definitely get like a place I could sit down and spend some time. I know this is only my personal opinion but I wasn’t a fan of the flavor of their espresso at all. It seemed very earthy and a little bitter.

A great little coffee house just off the beaten path with delicious hot and cold coffee drinks made from house-roasted beans. They have a small assortment of food as well as various sizes of whole bean or ground coffee. Pick up some beans to take home with you from your trip. Local tip: bring a growler to fill with cold brew coffee!

Say no to Corporate Coffee! Pangea has great vibes, super nice people, an excellent selection of beans roasted on-site, great food options, and a killer latté. I routinely go well out of my way to visit these folks, and never regret it!

Stopped in while on a tour of golden. Everyone in my group through enjoyed their iced lattes. We also purchased several pastries. I personally got a raspberry scone which was quite tasty. Additionally the coffee was quite affordable compared to many of the other local roasters I have visited in the Denver area.

Cold brew is good and reasonably priced.

Best coffee in Golden, in my opinion. They have breakfast burritos too, which arent anything special but are crazy cheap, and give you something to snack on our fill you up in liu of making two stops did breakfast. Did I mention this place has the best coffee?

A local necessity! The owners are the sweetest people and they make the best drinks, hot or cold. The matcha latte and white chocolate frappe are my favorites!

I had been drinking their coffee when I lived in golden, and didn’t realize how good it was (and how much they spoiled me) until I moved away and have to drink other coffee 😭 I also love & miss the shop, it’s so open and full of light Which makes it a great place to get drawing/work done. The baristas have always been super friendly & nice to talk to. I miss this place! Will surely visit next time I come to town!

This is probably my favorite shop I have ever been to. The coffee is great and really reasonably priced. The shop itself is very welcoming and the vibe is curated in such a way where anyone can feel at home. Awesome spot all around!

The cinnamon roll is very good but should be heated up before eating, its a quite dry when its not warm. other than that, it was delicious! clean restroom and its awesome that everythings vegan. nice little café with seating inside and outside.

Really excellent cup of coffee. Nice setting to relax and have a pastry. Tucked into a neighborhood so its far enough off of Washington to enjoy some quiet without the summer tourist parade. Staff is usually pretty friendly (I think theres only like 3 people that work here). But overall, I just cant say enough about how good their coffee is.

Great cup of coffee or specialty cup, and not too expensive. THeres some bakery items too if you need a snack. They also sell beans, brewers, and all types of coffee brewing equipment. Theres also cool swag with their logo on it. Easy to find location off the busy main street too and theres parking out front or on the street.

The coffee is roasted to perfection according to the bean and region. Nice environment, good for conversation, doing homework and reading. The space seems to get pretty busy but finding a spot to do your thing is never realy an issue. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the is only one outlet available to customers to charge computers while working.

UPDATE: Unfortunately the owner just took great offense to my post instead of appreciating some feedback about their customer service. This is no surprise after the way their staff treated the customers. He/She is in fact correct, there are pieces of paper next to each coffee type to explain the types of coffee, I was simply stating that customer service is still important. Rumor has it there is another Roaster interested in downtown Golden. I will be sure to support that. Thank you, and have a great day!I think its great that a coffee roaster has found success in Golden, however it seems most of the business is college students who dont really know great fresh roasted coffee yet. Owners really need to pay attention to how staff treats customers who have questions. Its a great opportunity to talked about where beans are sourced, regions and flavors. Instead i heard an employee tell an older customer that one was different from the other. It was a lost opportunity. I purchased a 12oz bag of coffee and am sorry to say it wasnt as good as I expected.

Absolute best coffee around and that Ive ever had personally. The staff and owners (Matt and Amanda) are completely amazing and have extensive knowledge on coffee, from green grape to the finished product. They source their beans from fantastic places and have a large selection of roasts too. Great location in beautiful Golden, Colorado with a simple feel. Their focus is on their coffee and its clear to see their passion for it!

I had an Ethiopian pour over because I like to make them work. It was a fine cup of coffee and I would go get another if I wasnt 500 miles away. People were friendly and they have some outside seating to enjoy a fine fall day.

Fun casaul environment. Has a real artsy and homey atmosphere. Service a little slow but overall good; would come back.

Ive only had the brewed coffee here. Very good. The staff could be slightly friendlier but I might have caught them on an off day. Location and atmosphere are perfect.

The place to get really good coffee in Golden. This isnt a full service restaurant, but you can get food here. The real reason is the coffee that they roast in house.

Really good coffee. The Americano was balanced. It tasted like it was a medium roast so in just a bit acidic and not too dark. The white mocha was very well balanced. Most mochas are too sweet but this one allowed the coffee to come through while still being a little sweet. Overall both drinks were very well balanced.

We only get our espresso beans here--theyre that delicious! They have a cozy shared patio with a view of North table mountain as well.

My wife and I have become a bit snobbish about our coffee and rely on the best beans we can grind ourselves for our french press. In our ongoing search for the best beans we stumbled upon Pangea and picked up a bag of their Costa Rican and Nicaragua. Holy Cow! Both were the best beans weve ever experienced. Rich, complex, yummy. The folks at the shop are great too. Well done, Pangea. Were loyal customers now.

Coffee roaster with small cafe attached. Three tables (a 2, a 4, and a 6 top) plus two small bars. Concrete floor. Industrial vibe w/ ugly ceiling and fluorescent lights. Silkscreen prints of dinosaurs make up for it. Audio on low -- really back in the roastery - with reggae on when I was there. Wifi with password you ask for. A couple of outlets. Small selection of tea (rishi). Nice selection of high quality pastries. Nice place to hang out if you can find a table.

Pangea ranks number one as my favorite coffee shop. The staff is amiable, the coffee (roasted in-house) is excellent, and the coffee shop itself, in the middle of a quiet old-town neighborhood, is cozy.
