Weve eaten in store before and everything was great. However we ordered for pick up for the first time this evening and it ruined our faith in this place. Ordered a four corners bagel and the picture is what we received. They said they would issue a refund but couldnt until tomorrow. Guess we will see, either way - super disappointing.

This is a great bagel restaurant that serves breakfast bagels all day long as well as pizza, hot chocolate coffee, and whatever else you want. I highly recommend. Friendly staff and locally owned.

I recently reached out to the team at Big Daddys in an effort to provide food for a one day retreat that we (we being 99 Hearts, a local 501c3 charity that helps people through horses and healing resources) were putting on for ladies that have struggled with anxiety, body positivity, and or suicide. They immediately offered to provide breakfast for all 20 ladies and volunteers with no hesitation. We are so grateful to all at Big Daddy for their generous donation and DELICIOUS FOOD! If you are in Golden (or even if youre not) make the choice to treat yourself to this amazing restaurant and even better staff!

This is a place to stop on your way to the mountains. Get a bagel and coffee before you hit I-70. We have been customers for years and years. The. bagels are fresh and well crafted. The coffee is fresh. The staff great.Go there.

The bagels here are pretty tasty, a bit expensive and not the greatest coffee, especially if you get the brewed stuff. I did like the freshness of the bagels, but everything else, tasted pretty bland. Also the customer service wasnt the best. The lady running the counter, wasnt the nicest and seemed like she had something better to do. The cashier though was great, he was very nice in answering our questions.

The hashbrowns are not good. The burrito I ordered was poorly made. But, I shouldve stuck with a bagel I suppose. My husband enjoyed his salmon bagel. It looked good.

The best bagel sandwich’s In Golden. I can’t see how the subway next door even stays in business. You would have to be loco to go there with big daddy next door.

Missed Starbucks and ended up here. Glad we did. Small friendly establishment with great bagel selection. Had mushroom melt with sun dried tomato. Delicious. Nice patio area outside.

Let me preface this by saying; the only reason this two-star review isnt one, is the sheer grit and determination of the staff to see service through; to be frank, they deserve a raise.The unmitigated disaster I just witnessed, is a complete and total failure on part of management and ownership to attain any effective mechanism in regulating customer flow and inflow of orders to staff. Its amazing that they might even find a moment to touch the phone, should it ring.While my food came within a few minutes of on-time it was almost 20 minutes before I received my smoothies; and I was one of the fortunate standing in a sea of impatient and hungry customers--I did not pay $37(counting the price of two 4-corners sandwiches and two smoothies) for cold, rubbery sandwiches, and a customer service experience where the staff could hardly breathe, let alone interact with customers, or answer any of their questions or concerns with any level of expedience.Management, you need to do better; your employees deserve better.

Slow service, skimpy sandwich for the price and the whole place was pretty dirty. Not like we got slammed today and havent caught up dirty, like we havent mopped or cleaned the bathroom since before covid dirty. The bagel itself was decent though.

Amazing New York style pizza. The pizzas and individual slices are huge and tasty. They are thin and crispy and they put big pieces of every ingredient in each slice. The service is great and the prices are reasonable.

Awww man. My husband and I hail from pizza and bagel nirvana. This is the first pizza and bagel...and sandwich shop Ive ever been to. It is THE BEST bagel and pizza Ive had since I moved to Colorado many years ago. Im just so happy you exist...and, if fates allow, Ill be back. YUM

Holy cream cheese! Heres the secret to BDB; order two bagels. One with cream cheese the other without. Youll get enough on the first to spread on the second.Great bagels. Plenty of options no matter the time of day you visit. The outdoor patio is plenty big and shared with the Subway restaurant nextdoor. Theres no real sidewalk traffic on the relatively quiet side street.Big Daddy Pizza is wrapped into the same business and location. Never had their pizza but weve seen it being served. Looks like itd be well worth the try!

Stop by BDs weekly for their bagel sandwiches and Im never disappointed. Staff is cool and efficient at getting your order filled so you can get on your way. Love this place!

Fresh and delicious traditional, authentic, chewy bagels. Not bready like Einsteins or super market -- more like going to Moes Bagels in Boulder. They have gluten-free bagels as well! Fresh sandwiches with many choices, including lox, breakfast, vegan, peanut butter and jelly, and turkey. They also have bags of day-olds.We have never had their pizza, but they do have gluten-free crust as well.

We love our Big Daddy’s. Always consistently good and the staff knows our family as we are there weekly. We love them there and the bagel sandwiches and pizzas. Great local organic espresso too.

The bagels and hoagies are some of the best Ive ever had. Holy wow. Every time I eat one I find myself moaning in satisfaction and wondering If Ive already written a 5 star review.

This used to be one of my friends and my favorite place to go after our morning runs. The food is still good, but the staff that they have had there the last few mornings we have gone is terrible SUPER long wait times for your food. This morning when we went the girl that took our order did not even say hello, was not even looking at us, looked like she hated being there and then was sort of rude. When we ordered a smoothie from the other side it was not made. When we brought that to their attention no apology the blonde girl in there rolled her eyes, and then made it. Not great service.

Great Bagel spot. Had one of their special breakfast bagles. It was awesome. Im from NJ originally, so I have a pretty high standard for bagels, and they delivered!

Bagels are fine, menu is a little extensive. Hard to compare to The Bagelry the deadhead bagel shop in evergreen where I go whenever I am heading up skiing.

A great post-hike stop if you are in Golden. There are a variety of options for bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Most importantly, the people that work there are ultra friendly! Will return.

Tried this out on Sunday, looking for real bagels before returning to the world above. Theyre good. Maybe as good as could be expected for goyim making bagels. Ill go back.

Great bagels; large variety of flavors. We find the day-old dozen bagels to be a great value when our favorite varieties are available. Big Mamas sandwich and Big Daddys Reuben sandwich are special treats for us.

Good bagels but the portions are small. Staff has been rude all 4 times I went and service is extremely slow. They forgot to put EGG on my sisters bacon, egg, and cheese today... how does that even happen? I’ll be browsing for new bagels spots.

Literally one of the BEST quick bite places to eat in Denver metro. One of the few places to get an authentic tasting/texture bagel with that thick, chewy dough. Cream cheese is so good. Coffee is so good. Tons of sandwich options. I havent even mentioned the pizza but thats damn good too. Seriously, cannot say enough good things about this place. Staff is amazing too! Always friendly. There will be 20 people in line and I dont feel like I have to wait more than 10 minutes. Eat here.

Its a little tucked away, next to a Subway. It has clean bathrooms, and a nice staff. Generally clean all-around. They have good bagles both basic spread bagles and breakfast bagles. They have smoothies, nothing crazy (just wish they had a chocolate banana type smoothie).

Excellent little shop for bagel sandwiches, pizza and more. I got the two pizza slices and a drink combo and it was very well priced for three size of the pizza slices, they were huge! Delicious as well.

It was quite delicious!! I went in expecting just a Bagel and cream cheese but they had all sorts of good stuff. I ended up getting a omelet on a bagel and it was really good! 10/10 would recommend if you like bagels and breakfast. I’m also pretty sure they had pizza too.

You would never guess.... But there pizza is BOMB! Dont believe me? Then go get there 2 slice and soda deal for 6 bucks! You will def come back for a whole pie!

Im not sure how this place could ever get 5 stars.... its as average as it gets. I got a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich: the bagel was pretty good, but there was virtually no cheese, the egg was thin and pre-made, and there were two strips of barely-there bacon. There are so many better spots for breakfast sandwiches or bagels on the Front Range. The best part about this location is its location - right off Hwy 93 in Golden, so its easy to stop and grab something to go.

Xlnt staff and service. Lunch special is the bomb deal.

Very, very poor customer service and sadly, this overshadows the food which was actually pretty good.We arrived 15 minutes prior to closing, ordered, and when they brought out the food they asked us to leave because they were “closed”. They couldn’t even allow us 10 minutes to eat inside, so outside we went into the cold. Likely won’t eat here again. Hopefully management can address some of these issues.

One of the best bagel places Ive been to. I went there during the September flood since I had to get up so early I missed eating at home. I love the atmosphere and while it can be a little cold inside their warm hot chocolate and well made bagel sandwiches make up for it. If your in the area and need a quick place to get something warm to eat I highly recommend this.

Extremely slow service at all times of day. Dont bother calling in an order, because it will be ignored till the person walks into the building. Then they may start preparing the order.This has happened every time I have ordered from this place. Cmon now, get it together.

Their Golden location has kept me alive for the last couple years. Susie and crew provide great service. And they open early enough on powder days to get some food and hit the road early. Highly recommended.
